I have been meaning to write a review for this place. I havent been to an eye doctor in 9 years and I looked up on google for the best rated eye doctor places and it led me here to Pearle Vision. I had such a great experience here!!! The staff and doctor were so friendly and helpful from when I walked in to my examination to picking out my glasses. Im so glad I came here. I love my glasses that I found there. I highly recommend coming here. Thanks Pearle Vision!!!

Excellent experience in every way. Urooq Ahmad was very helpful from choosing frames, providing clear explanations about lenses, features, and costs. The attention to disinfecting glasses before I arrived, and of those frames I tried, was very well done. All around very efficient!

This Pearle Vision was amazing the staff made us feel welcomed. Nathalie was very helpful on helping us choose our glasses which fit perfectly btw overall experience I was definitely satisfied and will recommend them to anyone.

Although my dreams of being a candidate for lasik were crushed due to my extremely dry eyes, I appreciated all of the information and advice. Doctor exhibited a genuine concern for my eyes. I had excellent customer service from Urooj today. I normally have a. difficult time selecting frames but Urooj made the process very easy. I would recommend her and this store highly. A very pleasant experience.

I just came back from the office and couldnt wait to let everyone know what a great experience I had! The office is clean, staff is very professional. Because modern technology they use, the registration process (it was my first visit) took a few minutes only. Dr. Kugel is absolutely very knowledgeable and caring. She is patiently answered all my questions. AMAZING! I will bring my husband and our kids here as well. Thank you Pearle Vision for your high standard work!

I had a great experience with the Vernon Hills location. Jen was so great to work with! She was so upbeat and professional. The whole staff was great from the check in, to the doctor. Would recommend this location to everyone.

The folks there were very helpful. My only issue was how expensive the frames and lenses I wanted were. I guess it’s been a few years since i got new glasses and I defiantly got sticker shock.Unfortunately, I do not have insurance so it was all at my own expense

Dr Kugel was so kind and informative. Her exam was extremely thorough and she walked me through the whole process of putting contacts in for the first time again. The other staff was also very helpful and kind. Jen was wonderful at the beginning of the eye exam and Urooj was very helpful while I picked out my new pair of frames. I will be back here for my annual eye exams and new frames in the future!

I just had a great experience with the doctor and the whole team here. They are experienced, very professional and very friendly as well. I had an eye exam, and they had much patience with me as I tried on lots of possibilities for new glasses. All in all, I’d say that this is a wonderful place for eye care, my family and I have been going here for more than 20 years. They’re just perfect!

Had a great experience with my exam and glass purchase in January so I returned to get Rx sunglasses. Urooj was awesome (again) and I was really impressed she remembered me from my previous visit. I appreciated her honest opinion and the time she took to answer all my questions. Can’t wait to pick up the new sunglasses!!

Pearle Vision is a fantastic place. Theyve helped me numerous times throughout the 37 years that they have been at this location in Vernon Hills. Uroj, the Assistant Store Manager, is knowledgeable, professional, and exceedingly helpful and kind, as are all the members of the staff. Truly a gem!

I had a good experience here! I felt the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Urooj was fantastic! She was so welcoming and helped me pick out a great pair of glasses as well as crunched numbers to see how I could get the best deal with my insurance. She is such a gem! The doctor was kind and took her time to help me find the right fit with my contact lenses (after trying on 4 different pairs) highly recommend this location.

My eye exam went quickly. The location was sanitary and they made it easy to sign in once there. The pre-exam by Hana was quick and hassle-free. Dr. Kugel was personable during the exam and knowledgeable about my prescription.

The office was clean and the staff were efficient with sanitation.Hanna was very helpful when I was picking out my lenses. She gave me a breakdown of the costs and explained the different type of lenses that the doctor recommended for me.Dr. Kugel was very patient with me and thoroughly explained my eye care needs.

Very member and knowledgeable staff. Every staff member is polite helpful and courteous. But one staff member treats you like family, and that’s Urooj. She goes beyond customer service ans just lights up your day with a smile thst comes genuinely from the heart. She goes beyond her duties and that’s why she is great with your daily too .

I went in for contact lenses and all the employees were nice but the doctor was condescending and mean. I told her I had problems with maintaining contact lenses before but now I was ready to have them again because I’m over the hassle of glasses. I used to sleep in them when I was in high school because I didn’t care and I didn’t realize the harm it was doing until I got older. The doctor continued making condescending comments and jabs towards me and then ended it with “I’m sure you’ve matured now.” She also kept saying “don’t mess up! You keep messing up and that’s a mistake to do that” like as if I don’t know that already... It was overall rude and she also seemed like she just didn’t want to be there. Even when I first saw her, she wasn’t nice at all and very cold and barely have a greeting.Totally ruined the whole experience, no matter how nice the rest of the staff is. Also they said they would call me within a few days to see if my contact lenses are okay but it’s been well over a week and I haven’t received a call. Also, the doctor kept suggesting daily contact lenses instead of two week ones.... idk if she was trying to get money or what. But her comments rubbed me the wrong way as if she was talking down to me just because I am a young adult. Like just because I’m younger than you doesn’t mean you have to talk down to me like I’m a child. Overall, I wish I went somewhere else. Target optical is way better.

I like going to the Vernon Hills Pearl Vision. Everyone is professional, the optometrist explains everything well, and the staff is helpful. Hana helped me work with my insurance plan and didn’t pressure me to buy something I didn’t need.

Everyone there was so pleasant and helpful. I will be returning there from now on. Finally was able to find a vision center where I can buy both contacts and glasses and was 100% satisfied.

I have nothing but the best to say about my experience at Pearle Vision. Dr. Kugel and office manager Sadie were absolutely fantastic and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish along with finding me the right contacts and glasses to best fit my needs. The office was extremely clean and everyone was wearing masks to ensure the best experience as possible. Are we in a pandemic?The government extends expired license plates and license the doctors extension refills that are Past due but Pearle vision in Vernon Hills does not extend prescriptionsI broke my glasses and call to get a prescription because I needed to get glasses within three days I was informed that my prescription expired in April in the heart of the pandemic! I was more than willing to come within the next week or two to get a new prescription but I needed a pair of glasses right away do you think Pearle vision and Vernon Hills would work with me and understand that in April we have a pandemic and that the prescription could have been extended no no help in a prescription for glasses not a pill or not even a shot but glasses and they would not even work with me to get me a prescription it hurts my heart

It was a very pleasant experience, I came in dazed and confused, didn’t know what to expect. Urooj Ahmad was very helpful with my decision on what frames and features I wanted on my glasses.

I walked into this Pearle Vision store, having never been before, because my sons glasses had broken and the other Pearle Vision store (where I have purchased the warranty) had closed unexpectedly. The Warrenty provider had NO RECORD we existed and I had no idea of what to do. LONG story, short, I worked with Sadie Blair, this stores manager, and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to track down the closed stores records, find proof of warranty purchase for my sons glasses and got them repaired. Given that the Pearle Visions are pretty independent of each other, she very easily could have just told me that she was sorry and couldnt help me, but she didnt. She saved the day and earned a customer for life.

The person who absolutely went out of her way to to help me is named Devon...Amazingly she had me in a new set of contact lenses exactly 45 minutes after I talked to her about my emergency situation in the phone.There are two kinds of people in this world: Amateurs and Professionals .In the dictionary under the latter should be a picture of her face and AWESOME SMILE.Ask for her if you want the customer experience of your life...!!!

I have been going here for years and always had a good experience. This year exceeded my expectations lots of new styles to choose from and the whole store looks new. New equipment made the exam process easier, plus loved that I didn’t have to dilate to check my eyes. Devin, the sales lady was never pushy and helped me find a great pair of new Rayban Glasses. Love the doctor, the upgrades, and the staff was excellent.

Very rude and rushed. The Technician (?) never bothered to even introduce herself or explain about the procedure. And don’t bother asking. She will snap at you. Moreover doctor (?) asked “You don’t need your eyes dilated do you?” then I was asked to sign the paper that I refused. Summary: very rude staff, dubious doctor (?). Total waste of my time and money

Depending on who you meet some of them are rude. They didnt accept my insurance so I paid full price for a pair of glasses. Months later I come to find out that they were supposed to have accepted my insurance, so I had to waste some time to handle that. I eventually got my check for what was half of what I paid for the glasses. Be careful on who takes care of you at this place.

This place is ABSOLUTELY terrible. Crap service. The managers are so rude and are very mean. Very slow, slack off, HORRIBLE staff. You have to wait for hours JUST TO RESCHEDULE and appointment. They loose papers, and just give you a hard time. WORST PLACE EVER.
