Unsanitary small store. The two deserts that were ordered seemed to be stale, doughy and had very little flavor.During our visit two of the servers seem to be having a very negative interaction. One was openly berating the other making her visibly nervous. The one being trained was at the point of tears. The trainer was verbally abusive. Witnessing these two, left my husband and I disturbed the remainder of the day. We came to enjoy pastry...to got to see a Bully in action. This place deserves no stars.
Always enjoy lunch here. Nice outdoor seating. Good soups and sandwiches. Ingredients always seem to be fresh. Not to mention the unlimited coffee menu plus Ice Cream.
There were good flavours to choose from and the ice cream was tasty. We tried there house made granola and it was definitely the best granola I’ve have ever had. They have a big selection of drinks, malts, shakes, coffee, breads and breakfast sandwiches The service was quick and the girls were friendly.
I cant wait until my next visit. All of the baked goods and ice creams looked so good! My husband and I simply went for breakfast so we each got a egg and cheese bagel. Mine was just with bacon and my husbands had ham, tomato, & spinach. I didnt know that breakfast bagel sandwiches could taste so good! Highly recommend, even with the wait times. We probably had to wait a good 10 minutes to order and probably 20 for the food but it was worth it. We were in at a prime time on a Sunday morning. They have live music outside on Saturdays and Sundays from what I witnessed (not sure about other days). Based on other reviews, I believe my future orders will be just as satisfying.

Went in for ice cream with the family and since we walked in the owner, gave us dirty looks. We were looking for what ice cream to order and it was not busy at all, was only us inside. She rudely continued to say “do any of you guys even know what you want” and i said no we’re looking others walked in. I said you could attend them as were not ready and she rudely rolled her eyes. To them she was very sweet. I felt maybe because we weren’t white she treated us differently.
We got some great homemade pastries. Wanted one of each so cant wait to go back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful
Great menu options and of course the bakery items are amazing. Service is a little slower than I would prefer but since they try to service both clients at the counter and those outside, I can understand the wait perhaps.
The baked goods here are simply amazing! The cinnamon swirl cake is a coffee cake on steroids and deserves 10 stars! The lunch sandwiches are on bread so fresh you will swear it just came out of the oven! The chili is also simply amazing! To say I love this place would be an understatement! Be sure to so try the fresh baked peanut butter cookies and the chocolate chip!
Another great find in Vero Beach, Florida! Cravings is an adorable little shop that has tons of amazing gluten free options. They have ice cream, a huge bakery section, wraps, sandwiches, and an awesome selection of coffee. I only tried the bakery items but let me tell you, they were to die for. The gluten free key lime pie was my favorite, plus how adorable?! Thank you @verocravings for keeping my tummy full on my vacation! 🍰💚🌞🌴
Very tempting to eat stuff you arent supposed to. Usually, there is long line. The day I went, I didnt have to wait long at all. Great sandwich. I really wanted a milkshake or ice cream and we had to leave before I ordered one.
Very friendly service. Been here just once before but enjoy it. The location is great and it was nice sitting outside in the evening enjoying our ice cream and cookies. Many different flavors and treats to choose from. Our group of 15 was very satisfied.
I had a banana split and it felt like being a kid again. The girls who made my order had great vibes 🌺
Ice-cream is great! I wish they didnt glue the paper to the actual waffle cone. Have to throw away half the cone bc of the glue stuck to the cone.
Food is good. Eat outside. No vaping but you can bring as many dogs as you want to.
They make a great sandwich and also have many choices of ice cream
Closed the doors early as we were walking up. Couldn’t even try the ice cream
Great little local spot for coffee and breakfast food.
We had breakfast was very lively. They have all sorts of goodies for the entire family. Love the location. We ordered the Asiago bagel delicious also the italiano panini super good. If your in the area go and try it!
Great place not much to look at but the coffee is good and the morning pastries are fantastic great muffins croissants with fruit pecan roll all great. You can sit outside and have an ice cream in the evening. The locals are always there.
Excellent avocado toast and pastries. Loved live entertainment for breakfast! How nice.
Its not a post modern good place.... Its really small portions and awful tepid coffee because it should be obvious pot was on... The staff doesnt work if its pot you have to change it every two hours or get a small coffee maker and make the coffee fresh to order.... It was also really expensive so for a traveller my tips were way larger then was really needed in apology... Other then the burger place around the corner I would avoid the beach side for food... Its all needy girls that give too little for the money asked... Its not Muslims so the pre teen idea others are rich and bad and owe the staff predominate instead of most of the world lives in poverty and no one asked for money on food had any decent care for common diseases that would be around baseball
Dont miss Donnie +On Saturdays and Sundays Cravings features marvelous vocals by Donnie Haight. His coverage of some of the best tunes is incredible. We have an extra pastry so we can enjoy Donnies music.Cravings also has excellent baked goods, coffee, ice cream and lunch. When we visit with our grandchildren, Cravings cookies are always asked for and celebrated.
Good ice creams good for families good price
Cravings has been around forever and Ive never been disappointed by anything Ive ordered- ice cream, banana bread, sandwiches, smoothies- it was always good. I recommend the mint chip shake or ice cream and their mocha bread. 10/10
Went in to grab some food about 6pm. I ordered a bowl of chicken, kale and sweet potato soup along with a house salad. Apparently the soups listed for the day were wrong and all they had was chicken noodle soup. I didnt particularly want that soup but since I had already paid I went ahead and agreed to that. The soup was served cold so I asked for it to heated up, and she said it came from the freezer so she didnt know how long to heat it. I was disappointed that the soup of the day was coming from the freezer and not a fresh soup. It lacked flavor and Id say the same thing about the salad. My guy liked his chili and we like the sugar free, no flour raspberry muffin. With so many food options near our hotel I felt this meal was just okay.
Food was overpriced, but good. Was greeted strangely by staff just for wearing my mask indoors. I didnt say anything about the staff not wearing a mask while serving my food, weird that they commented on me wearing one.
The behind the scenes of this place is absolutely horrendous. From old food, to cutting mold off items..oh and the vegan items arent vegan. The worst part is how bad my granddaughter was treated by the owner. She is a tyrant that abuses staff. The seemingly sweet persona is all a facade. Do not let your children work here.
Good pastries and coffee. Definitely worth the destination spot.
The store itself is a very hometown environment and appears to have a friendly atmosphere. The owner is absolutely appalling and a downright nasty person. While I was there I heard her belittling and berating younger employees. Watched them send out bad food, and thier tea tasted like it hadnt been freshly made in days. If youre looking for a nice place to eat while enjoying the beach, Kilwins is a much better option ~ food-wise and enviroment-wise ~ and its right down the road!
This place is a gem! Walked to get breakfast from our hotel- Vero Beach Hotel & Spa! They have gluten friendly options, all kinds of treats, cute cookies, all kinds of pastries, live music, and the breakfast bacon, egg, & cheese croissant was good. It is a small old place, but it is obviously well loved by the amount of people there. It was cool to get to listen to the live music on the front porch where they have seating areas! Would definitely go for breakfast often if we lived here!
Great spot. Friendly service.
Dark Double chocolate chip and strawberry flavors are bomb
The food was great ordered a green goddess and gluten free build your own wrap. I felt safe in the amount of gluten free selections. They even have a gluten free baked good section and answered all of my ingredient questions. The only downside is older woman who I think was the manager should smile more :)
Delicious food and excellent staff
Delicious ice cream the bomb
Another Vero Staple. Has been a go to for locals for years... great selection and location. Definitely a must!!
Peanut butter protein shake is the best!
Expensive ice cream (wasnt even that good) rude server, she never told me my tab, took my $5 bill and never looked at me again. 1 scoop of ice cream?? Never again!
An ice cream/cookie/sweets shop one street back from the beach! Are you kidding me?! Who wouldnt want to stop here on a hot beach day and grab a cone. Or do what we did and eat dinner at the Wave and walk across the street for dessert. We sat outside afterward and listened to the live music coming out of grind and grape. Must stop here when in Vero.
Cravings is a sweet local bakery offering a tasty variety of healthyish breakfast, lunch and lite dinner options. Its a great, casual spot to quickly grab a bite on the go or meet up with a group. The one thing that I do want to call out specifically is that Cravings has the best sugar cookies I have ever tasted. My obsession began when I worked there in high school and now I cannot drive by without getting a sugar cookie. They are just incredible. And now that I am talking about it, I may need to make a cookie & coffee run now!
Always a great quick place to eat! The staff are always hospitable and ready to help. Thank you!
Average ice cream and way overpriced.
The food is so yummy
Holy cow!! This place is delicious even the kevin protein drink was great!! I love the name by the way. Lol
Great location. Not great nor fast, nor particularly reasonably priced but very popular. It is what it is if you need a convenient okay coffee and a sticky old wet muffin. Quite a variety of them.
Had ice cream eating and they came over spraying window cleaner very unprofessional
Hadn’t even approached the counter yet, just started looking over menu and was greeted with a hateful “can I help you”? Brushed it off, ya know we on vaca. Completely empty so I don’t know what the rush was. We asked for ingredients of item and was belittled. Made to feel stupid for watching my sugar! Was recommended by ppl across street, great place btw. Amazing what a snooty attitude can do to a great place. Not the way to start someone’s day off. Bully, stay home if you’re mad.
Great little place for a sandwich. The staff is great and especially Joann. See you next time we are in Vero.
NO MASKS. Just went into Cravings, enjoyed the coffee frappe and the reason Im giving this place four stars is they have a washing station which is awesome and only allow 3 in the shop. All great, but Employees were walking around with NO MASKS. (Except one). After watching one of the employees not only standing right next to some of their regular customers, and touching them, then that person walked within one foot of me twice, while cleaning tables. I would think they would be much more careful than this and I will not return until they are. Sadly because I do love the gluten-free foods and meals and ice cream.
The food was excellent . Service excellent. Atmosphere with outside dining. Following all protocols for safe dining.
Great food everyone is so friendly nice place
Great ice cream but the owner lady is very rude.
Love this place, went way out of our way to stop by. We were not disappointed. Taste as good as a year ago.
Gelato wasn’t good, not impressed with the taste. Waffle cone tasted a bit stale as well. Perhaps since it isn’t the height of a season their freshness lacks due to less traffic. Most of our choices ended up in the garbage.
Burgers and hotdogs were fantastic!!
Great ice cream and dog friendly
Best B.L.T beach side! Everything I have tried was good and staff are very friendly.
Tasty food and decent sized portions!
Messed up half the order. Took 20 minutes to make 2 smoothies and a shake. Smoothies were 8 dollars for blended plain Greek yogurt. Just make a smoothie at home
A must visit on any trip.
One of the best places to get ice cream in town, in my opinion. Always clean, polite and speedy staff, awesome atmosphere, and of course delicious ice cream. They have tons of creations to choose from. Thier coffee and espresso options are on point. Also, the pastries they have there are always out of this world, and really fresh. Lots of other neat options as well. Overall this is a place amazing.
While on a weekend at Sebastian Inlet State Park we visited Cravings in Vero Beach for ice cream. It is a cute shop with many flavors. The ice cream cost is by weight and not scoops, size, etc. We had two waffle cups and it cost over $20. They had about three average scoops in each. Although the place was pricey it was in a pricey area.
My favorite ice cream place!
During an awesome walk on Ocean Drive on my last visit with my son & his roommate we stopped for a bite at Cravings. With other available places to eat we choose Cravings because of the smoothies. While ordering I discovered their granola & they had many different types in which the samples they had & I tried out I bought the small bags which was a mistake on my part. Needless to say prior to heading back to WI I bought a few larger bags which I had thought would be enough for my craving of the types I bought. It was not so I decided to see if they did shipping of their products. Low & behold they did & now ordering is what I am doing until Im able to visit my son again. The Apricot, blueberry macadamia nut is my favorite & I am unable to sit & eat this granola without eating the whole bag. So so delicious!! I do love this place & will try other items they sell along with shipping them. Plus I plan on visiting everytime I come to see my son!
Bad customer service cant get orders right.
The best ice cream Ive had this year! Unique outside hand washing sinks & outside seating w/ live music on weekends
Great place! They have amazing healthy options, their smoothies are the best and they are 24oz. The place is pretty busy in the morning but the line is moving quickly. I also noticed the have a lot of gluten free options.Lovely staff as well! Get a punch card of you are staying for a while in Vero Beach.
Great location ...like new facility
Not only does Cravings provide a beach-side place to enjoy with the family with its indoor and outdoor seating, but it offers sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, ice cream, milkshakes, cookies, pastries, and even gluten-free items. Personally, I go there for the gluten-free red velvet cake, which is hand-made, that is a decently portions single serving of moist cake with smooth cream cheese icing. They properly list their ingredients on these allergy-friendly items, and they place them to the right of the ice cream stand and pastries, in a separate section, as to not get confused with their grand assortment of freshly baked goods. Cravings staff are incredibly kind, willing to answer any and all questions, and have given me a consistent place to get one of my favourite desserts, safely, at a reasonable price ($5). Most of their goods are extremely affordable, with the allergy-friendly items being the most expensive, along with certain smoothies or blended drinks. All-in-all, this is a place that is super casual, but has the class and quality that makes it a worthwhile destination while in Vero Beach, Florida.
Love the outstanding service and delicious icecream. I love that they measure the weight of the cones. Prices are great for this quality icecream!
Absolutely horrible service was spoken to with attitude right off the bat and even got a eye roll we only went in for coffee highly recommend the place across from them
I usually order from here when me and my girlfriends get together for Sunday brunch. Best to take advantage of the time while the hubby is out playing golf!
Great salads! Also enjoyed 3 cheese grilled on Ciabatta. Very long wait despite not being very busy.
Wonderful little ice cream, pastry, sandwich, coffee, etc., place. Nice to sit outside and no one tries to hurry you along.
Decorated cookies, ice cream, sandwiches, brownies and breads, Natalies orange juice. Wonderful!
Best Banana Split Ever 🙂👌& Ingot the gator which was also very delicious.Service was great, friendly, fast.Love the outdoor seating
It was a standard summer day in Vero Beach. It was hotter than the surface of the sun!! We wanted cold drinks and shade, and Cravings gave us both! We thought we saw Jerry Stiller, but we realized he was dead...so, more than likely, it was not him.
We love visiting Cravings! Not only is the ice cream yummy, but they have several gluten free foods available. Our favorite is the pumpkin bread! Yummy!
They weigh the ice cream which is greedy. You can make a lot of money weighing ice cream. I have been to many ice cream shops and you ask for a specific size cone and get a nice cone. My wife and friend ordered same size cones and One cone was $3.97 and the other $4.97 which was same size and qty. they certainly looked the same. So the negative overtone from server was i weighed it and this what you pay. Do not even know if scales are calibrated. To us this is wrong and not a good practice. Weighing ice cream is not a good business practice. We call this business greed. Will not be back for ice cream Sorry!
A great place for ice cream or muffins. They also offer tea and coffee.
The food is very good and fresh every time. Unfortunately, that doesnt include a friendly staff. No smile or good attitude, ever.
Beware they weight the ice cream in the cones so turned out to be $14 for two waffle cones. Tried Rainbow sherbet and black cherry. Im pretty sure that is normal price for this area but still shocking.
Our favorite local coffee shop! Super friendly owner & staff. Excellent food & service. Outside seating is the hot spot ocesnside for people-watching! 😁
A bit crowded on the weekends.
Wow! A place in Vero Beach/Sebastian that has vegetarian and vegan options, this alone was enough to make it amazing. The really outstanding part though was the taste, it is truly great food and this slightly unexpected but pleasantly surprised and appreciated. The coffee is also pretty good. I think that in the scheme of things, for a town like this (I was raised here and was just visiting), this is going to be one of the best option around for a vegan or vegetarian. :)
All the staff is friendly, they have the best selection of sandwiches, ice cream and deserts, I love sitting outside to eat, the location is great. After a day at the beach or shopping, this is a nice low key place to come and relax. At night you sometimes can hear the music from the restaurant nearby. Love this place.
Great selection of ice cream flavors, a bit on the pricey side, but you do get what you pay for here! They weigh your ice cream! YES! You actually pay by the weight! A unique way to purchase ice cream and make sure you never have that feeling of, that the person before me had a much bigger single scoop! LOL So, for those times that 1 scoop isnt quite enough and 2 scoops is way too much, you can actually say, can you just add a little bit more to that please? and not get a death stare from the person behind the counter! Great concept.Try their special homemade flavors for a unique experience. Their Spiced Rum Raisin was great!
We were looking for a really great dessert. My sundae was fine and my sisters Ive cream cone was good as well. Too bad your employees dont enjoy their jobs. Felt like the Joy from our day was leaking out so we ate outside. Too hot for that though. A smile would have been nice, a greeting would have been better.
Our family stopped in to Cravings last Saturday after a long day at the beach like we always do before heading home. Was kind of a little tradition. After we all got our ice cream, we headed outside to eat and a few minutes later a young girl comes outside and yells “YOU DIDN’T PAY FOR YOUR ICE CREAM.” We honestly looked around because we had no idea who she could have been talking to. When my son realized she was speaking to him, he walked back inside and was met with much confusion as to who in our party paid for what. He paid what was asked of him which I feel he double paid but I wasn’t too much worried about that as much as I was worried about how the young lady embarrassed us. I took notice that it seemed the owner was there since there was an older woman inside rudely barking orders at her workers while the young girls were trying to fill orders for a full shop with a long line out the door instead of pitching in and helping. I’ll chalk it up to stress on the young girls part but I won’t return. The owner needs to learn how to speak kindly to her workers especially in front of paying customers.
Great berry smoothie! Been going for years enjoying coffees, ice cream or cakes. Excellent service as well.
Great baked goods. Only place on the planet I have ever been that sells ice cream by weight. A bit pricey. Surley folks working the counter.
Even as it is closing, there is fresh ready made food to chose. Excellent wine selection. Coffee bar is inviting.
My family and I always stop by cravings when we come to Vero on vacation. Tonight was no different; the ice cream was great. What WAS different was the very grumpy person behind the counter who seemed to be the only one in the shop who did not want to be there. The one time she smiled was when she laughingly told me that the candy my daughter ordered was “nasty.” Thank you very much, RBF lady.
