This place is absolutely WONDERFUL. The staff is very helpful and warm, and even after a scheduling conflict on their part for doing my alterations, They went above and beyond to fix their error and squeeze me in (in the middle of popping wedding season, btw) and made sure I looked stunning on my wedding day. 5 stars isnt even enough, cause they deserve SO MUCH MORE. :)

Had such an amazing experience at Elegance by Roya! Working with Mariam was so easy. I showed her photos of styles I loved and she had me try on dresses that were similar but even better! I was in and out in 1.5 hours and walked away with having found my dress 😍 highly recommend!

The team at Elegance by Roya made my entire bridal shopping and alterations process PERFECT. Jacklyn was amazingly patient and enthusiastic while I tried on dresses and she knew exactly what dress was for me (even one that had arrived just three hours before my appointment!). I went into Elegance by Roya expecting I was just looking and won’t pick a dress. I left with the dress of my dreams. Mariam and Roya were amazing from the second I walked in until I left. My idea was always lace but I still wanted elegance. Mariam heard me out and put me in multiple lace dresses before putting me in MY dress. She just knew I would pick this dress. She had me try on one more lace dress and I went back into my dress and just knew that I can’t imagine myself in anything else. The vibes and feeling from this place is more than I could’ve ever wanted for my first time dress shopping!

Came to Elegance by Roya for my wedding dress and they were absolutely amazing! They have such a wonderful selection of dresses made by various designers which made dress shopping so much better. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this team. I came in 2 1/2 months before my wedding and found my dress within a half hour. Mariam was my consultant and she literally nailed it after the second dress. Rhea assisted me at each fitting and took her time. She pointed out things to be fixed that I wouldve never noticed! She has so much personality and makes you feel so comfortable. She ALWAYS asked my mother and I if we were okay/happy with the changes she was going to make. The fact that she included my mother in everything, made her feel so special. COVID-19 has made things so difficult with all of the unpredictability, but Elegance by Roya did not miss a beat at all with my dress. Rhea squeezed me in for a quick 4th fitting for some last minute changes AND even got my blusher veil sewed onto my veil at that last appointment, 2 days before my wedding after I forgot to even get one. Talk about customer service. These ladies are willing to go above and beyond up until your wedding day to make sure you are satisfied. I got so many compliments throughout the night. This place surpassed all my expectations. They were incredibly professional and worked with me to get dream dress. The fittings were quick and efficient and every time I went I felt heard and my input was valued. Their staff are true experts and will get you the best fit you could ask for in a dress. From the moment I made the appointment, walked into the store, and the entire process of selecting my gown to alterations to the final touches...I can honestly say that I am in awe of Roya and her team. Truly the most perfect experience I have ever had with a vendor. It was such a pleasure working with Mariam and the rest of the team. They put their heart into making my Martina Liana gown perfect with several alteration appointments, listened to my concerns and delivered a perfect gown which felt like it was designed just for me :) Roya also helped me pick out a perfectly matching veil. I absolutely love this place! Even with Covid it was easy to make an appointment and find my dream dress. Health and safety is a priority. They sterilize and everyone wears a mask. Mariam was my dress consultant and took my thoughts and ideas and turned them into reality to find my dream wedding dress. Rhea is my fitting consultant and knows how to make my dress just right. I highly recommend this place. Oh and I also received accessories that matched the dress perfectly.

I loved my experience here! Due to covid changes, I began looking for my dress less than a month before my wedding. Bridal stylist Mariam, worked closely with me, showing me several sample dresses to be sure that I found my dress that same day & I did! They went out of their way to get me in for 3 alterations within that month & made my experience so smooth. I was looking forward to my appointment at Elegance by Roya - Tyson’s Corner after the great reviews I saw online. At first the consultant, Mariam, was friendly and welcoming....until I told her my budget. She quickly told me that wasn’t a big enough budget for the dresses at the store and asked how much over my budget I would be willing to go. I think when I told her only $500 over my budget the appointment turned downhill fast. It felt like she couldn’t get me out of that store fast enough and that she didn’t want to sell me a dress even if I did find the one. When I tried on a dress and told her what I liked or didn’t like it seemed she wasn’t listening at all because the next dress would have the same problems. Not once did she make suggestions for styles I should try or really do any consulting support of any kind. After about 8 dresses (4-5 of which I didn’t even need to come out of the fitting room to show) and 25 minutes of what should have been an hour long appointment, she told me that was all they had to offer in my price range and quickly showed me to the door. Although I was ready to get out of there by that time anyway, I wish she had suggested to try different styles just to see what I thought of them to make my appointment a more worthwhile, positive experience. I nearly left in tears because it was such a horrible experience. I would never recommend anyone to go to this store, and especially not to work with Mariam. I am very glad I had an appointment booked at another store later that day where I had a wonderful experience and found my dress!

JACKLYN IS THE MOST AMAZING CONSULTANT, hands down (which I can affirm after visiting at least five bridal boutiques)!The scheduling was very easy and convenient through their online booking system on the website. I appreciated the level of communication after scheduling, particularly that a member of the team reaches out personally via email prior to the appointment with questions. I really liked that they even ask for your Pinterest board or pictures of dresses!From the moment I arrived with my mom and maid on honor for my appointment, I was amazed. Jacklyn was so warm and welcoming! She took the time to sit with me and ask details about the wedding and what I was looking for. Let me start off by saying that I actually went to Kleinfeld before coming to Elegance By Roya. It was the biggest mistake I made. Had a horrible experience at Kleinfeld! It is nothing like the tv show, they did not respect my budget, they did not have most of the dresses I was interested in, and my consultant was rude. I ended up agreeing to an 8,400 dollar dress as the consultant said we are going on a lockdown if you dont agree to a dress today you will not have one on time for your wedding day. I came home knowing that was not my dress, and 2x my budget. I was so not happy with the dress I chose, and decided to look around. That is how I found Elegance by Roya.The moment I walked in I was shocked how beautiful the store is! I was greeted with such bright smiles by a gentleman and Paola. I showed Paola pictures of dresses I liked, and my budget. She brought me 3 dresses to start with. All 3 were so beautiful and I knew one of those 3 was my dress. I had the feeling every bride talks about when you find the one. I chose a beautiful Randy Feloni dress. It was within my price budget, and everything I wanted. Paola assured me that my dress would be ready for my big day even with the pandemic, and they will start alterations as soon as my dress arrived. Gosh the experience was so amazing! I got the chance to meet Roya, the owner. She is a sweetheart! She made me feel like a long time friend with such amazing experience every time I went in. I could go on about this boutique. My only mistake was not going here from the very beginning. This place is the real deal, and trust me when I say that!Every bride deserves the experience I received at Elegance By Roya. My mom and I came to Elegance by Roya after visiting several other boutiques. After searching all over Virginia, DC and Maryland, Elegance by Roya not only had the best selection but we had the best experience. Mariam was amazing and it was very clear she had a lot of experience. She was not pushy in trying to make the sale like some other places and was willing to work with us. I was looking for a modest dress - long sleeves etc., and she guided us through the process (alterations, adding a sleeve etc) and was upfront about the costs and timing. I had the most wonderful bridal experience at Elegance By Roya in Tysons! They not only have the best selection of dresses, they have THE BEST consultants! This place has to be by far the best boutique Ive been to when it comes to planning a big day! I recently went in with my cousin as her bridesmaid to help pick her dream dress. OMG! What can I say about the staff here!! 5 stars is not enough! My experience with Miriam will truly be a memory forever. She was extremely patient with me and was an expert on designers and styles. Roya, the owner is very sweet and has an eye for exquisite dress design. I purchased my dress back in December. Yesterday was my first dress fitting, with very little alterations needed, my dress fits like a GLOVE!!! This was my first and only bridal stop. I am truly happy I made this decision. It seems impossible but I felt beautiful in all the dresses I tried on, even though they were technically several sizes too small for me. I also really liked that I was the only bride in the store during my appointment time so I didn’t feel self conscious about other people looking at me or comparing myself to other brides. I didn’t purchase a dress that day because I was undecided between 2 dresses, but overall it was really wonderful experience and I highly recommend Elegance by Roya especially for plus size brides.

I came to Elegance Roya three times before finally choosing my wedding dress. Elegance Roya has a very beautiful selection of dresses. My parents were very negative during the dress shopping experience but Sahar and Jacklyn were extremely helpful and patient with me each time I came in. They both made the experience easy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this boutique and working with either Sahar or Jacklyn.

I am so glad I picked the best bridal boutique in the DMV area to get my DREAM wedding dress! They have a lot of great dresses in every style that you could imagine. Also what made this experience even better is that they do perfect alteration, so your dress will be taken care of until you physically pick it up from their location.Customer service is wonderful. Roya and her team make you feel so great. Every time I needed to make a visit. From the try on experience to all of my fittings. I had a wonderful bridal experience at Elegance by Roya! Their selection is top notch at this specialty bridal boutique. Beautiful veils! Stunning gowns! Everyone is warm and friendly and they have an in-house alterations studio, highly recommend coming here for the dream bridal experience and to find your dream wedding gown.

I initially chose EBR because they carried five of the dresses I was interested in trying on. Making an appointment was easy and everyone in there was incredibly friendly. My first appointment was with Mariam, who is so wonderful! I had five sheath/a-line dresses on my list because I was looking for something flowy for my beach wedding. With each dress, Mariam asked me what I liked and didnt like. At the end of the appointment, she pulled two mermaid dresses that she thought I might like and I had a hard time choosing between the two! She gave me solid advice on the pros and cons of each dress, and I finally chose one. I couldnt imagine wearing any other dress to my wedding.I initially thought the dress they ordered would be good enough to walk out with, but the seamstress is (thankfully) a perfectionist and she had quite a few alterations to do at the end of my first fitting. I had a second fitting and she didnt like some of the wrinkles in the front of the dress (I didnt even notice them), so she fixed that. I was very impressed with the level of detail and care the seamstress took to make sure my dress was perfect.Lastly, Roya is such a huge personality and shes so vibrant and lovely. She really cares about all of her brides and wants to make sure everything is absolutely perfect. I have no complaints about Elegance by Roya!

What am amazing expierience! i had the pleasure of having Mariam as my consultant on the perfect dress for my wedding! Great customer service and beyond helpful with designs and customizing my ideal dress to fit my needs! VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED for any woman in need of a wedding dress with specific taste for quality and educating pointers!!

One star for customer service and communication. Ordered a dress in June 2018 and was told it would take 6 months (contract said 4 months) at the most. Had to call them at the end of 6 months (Nov 2018) to inquire about my dress and was told that it wouldnt be in until Jan/Feb 2019. They likely either sold my dress to someone over the past six months or messed up my order. The delay was never explained but after telling them it was unacceptable, they said they could have the order expedited and I could make an appt that week. When I went in for my appt to make sure it was correct, as well as consider alterations, they insisted that I settle the balance for the dress that day. I didnt have the credit card on me, and I was planning to make a future appt for alterations, as well as to purchase a veil. They said that would be fine and I could call in later with the credit card number and make another appt. Within 24 hours after my appt, I received 2 voicemails and an email demanding that I settle my balance by the end of the day. Their communication is extremely inconsistent, tactless, and untrustworthy. I dont trust them to perform alterations correctly or within a reasonable timeframe. I also dont trust that they would rectify any mistakes made on their part with my alterations. Their response to previous negative reviews by customers, particularly about faulty alterations, provides affirmation. And their default response this post may receive apologizing without any recourse also confirms my distrust. My gown was expensive and its very disappointing to be treated so poorly and have to go find a tailor after choosing to purchase my gown here.

Beautiful store with a nice selection if wedding dresses. However, the staff is incredibly rude and clearly put their own interests ahead of the bride to bes.
