A sales rep from HCR came to my house to give me an estimate to replace our front door. He was drunk, rude, and so inappropriate that I literally had to throw him out of my house. HCR then sent another sales rep who apologized profusely and I did agree to have them replace our front door. It was later I realized after comparing my price with others in the neighborhood that also had their doors replaced that I was significantly overcharged. I continue to repeatedly get calls from HCR asking if I want work done on the house despite contacting the company multiple times to remove me from their calling lists. Awhile back I contacted their CEO who then had someone else talk to me, who very adamantly promised that I would be removed from their call lists. I still get calls weekly, daily, hundreds of calls every month. The callers state they are from HCR and they know my name and address, so I know I have not been removed from their call lists.

It started with them installing the wrong color siding due to an old sample (which I have an email from the VP admitting this). We found it the day after they started installing as we were not trying to be in their way (the box had the correct color name, so we thought all was good) & all the VP offered me was a $300 gift card not offering to rectify the bigger issue. He said they mail those once a month (tells me they have to do this more often than not). I didnt know what to do since it was already 1/2 installed. The site manager never came back out to look at it after we called. Instead they sent the sales rep to try to prove the color was the right one instead (it clearly wasnt). We have had it for 8 months & the siding has fallen off. They came to fix it & its falling AGAIN. I called customer service a week ago & no return call as of today to schedule a day/time to fix. The siding is cracked (supposed to be indestructible), the trim is hanging, the siding above our windows is bowing & there are multiple places with gaps in them around the windows due to not caulking. Most upsetting part is that I spent over $20k on siding that wasnt what we picked & that is now falling apart with no offer to replace to the correct color.

Utterly dumb folks. Glad I did not purchase from them. They dont hear you clearly and assume what is convenient for them to make a decision. Well, I made a decision as well - to not hire them for anything (ever).

We decided to go with Homefix Custom Remodeling for window replacement after speaking with MIchael Anthony of HCR. He took a considerable amount of time detailing their company and product line. We went with their Xtreme 3 Windows which were custom made about 6 weeks earlier than promised. Scheduling installation was easy; the hardest part was obtaining HOA approval. The installation team was professional, courteous, and faster than anticipated. Our new windows look and function fantastically. We love them so much that we haven’t put blinds back up to cover them -- only using curtains. Since only a few weeks have passed since install, it’s too soon to tell how much energy savings we’ll see. We only had 10 windows replaced, but plan on doing more with HCR. They make a top quality product backed by a solid warranty. I highly recommend Michael Anthony and HCR!

Really enjoy my salesman Jim Hester as I wanted a quote not a 2 hour presentation. He was quick and got down to figures. Also got his presentation in quick and showed me how good the quality of windows were. Installation team was quick, windows look great. During installation max Wagonblast talked me into redoing my front door. It’s a good product at a good price.

Pros and cons of Homefix Custom Repair’s kitchen countertops.Quick Review: i love the countertop. The Quartz it much nicer than anything i have had. It fits together like a glove. Chris (My salesman) was informative and dedicated. Ronald (my mesure technician.) was focused on quality work and patient. Company as a whole gave me some frustration with timing, but all and all Great company.Long Review.If you can request a sales Rep i would say ask for Chris Dobbin. He knows his stuff he lets you talk and doesn’t try talking over you to get the sale. He is great at listening and understand my needs for my kitchen. Like any other higher end product the sale meeting does go on for about hour or two so set time aside. He has to go over everything that makes the company worth being with. If you have a question dont be afraid to ask it twice. Chris is a busy guy and has trouble answer a question the first time it is asked. He may try but end up going off on a tangent about something else. Trust me, you are not being annoying by asking again to insure you get an answer. Otherwise he was with me every step of the way and had open communication, anytime i felt like something was right i could talk or text. To be able to text your sales rep is peace of mind.Ronald was my measurement Tech who came at the time they said he would. He took his time and talked to me to be sure everything he was taking down was correct. He even measured twice after helping me make a chance that made my kitchen better. Thank you very much Ronald! Frustrating part of the tech is you have to block off the whole day. Wish since i am paying so much i could pay to have a better time window. Saying the tech will be there some time between 8am and 5pm makes it hard to do anything with the day. Thats a company thing and nothing to do with Roland.I had a hispanic Installation crew and i didn’t understand what they were saying when they talked spanish right next to me. Does make me rather uneasy when you are in my house and say something i dont understand next to me and laugh. However the crew talked to me to be sure everything was correct. They worked quickly and made sure to take care of my house as they moved through it. Polite when asking to use my facilities. Didn’t leave any trash or mess behind. Was very happy with their work.Company had me a bit frustrated on time. From time of sales to finished installation was 35 days. Not too bad; however when you are told that they want to be installed by day 23 and that just keeps getting pushed back it is upsetting. Make plans around having everything done by day 23 wouldn’t be smart but when i had set plans for day 30, week after the estimated time of installe it is extremely frustrating to call family and cancale thanksgiving plans. Aside from this the company was on top end of communication and transparency.

I Dont recommend these folks. Everything in the ordering process took a long time and they didnt get it right, twice. They still havent resolved all our issues and now they have ghosted us. Next step is a BBB complaint. Weve already been telling our neighbors to NOT do business with them. Gave them two stars because the installers did an OK job and were respectful. We have been dealing with them for almost two years.

Unbelievably unprofessional. please train your door to door salesmen how to compose themselves when the answer is no, im not interested. 1- your employee wore his mask on his chin at our door, 2- he knocked over our plant pot in our yard after we said no. honestly, how can you expect anyone to trust your company with their safety? if anyone is even considering this place, go to yelp the reviews are even worse. Im the homeowner. I make the decisions. Approved by HOA for a specific window type/color. 15 windows, two sliding doors, 2 garage doors. James insisted my husband be present for decisions on MY HOME. IN MY NAME. Horrible, sexist business. They lost my business. Big mistake. Huge. Not sure if they understand. I make the decisions in my home. Really, really sad. They want to make it right? First I’d like the say, our roof does look great just as they promised. But other than that I was not satisfied at all with the management. I called 3 different times asking for them to drop off an extra pack of shingles for me to have in the basement in case of anything. They finally dropped some off after a month of calling and they weren’t even in a bundle, just loose shingles. And on top of that I asked for a receipt or a breakdown of what I paid for. They mailed me a piece of paper stating how much I paid for the roof. Not very happy about that. The guys who installed my roof didn’t even speak English and worked until after 9pm (after dark) to finish the roof in one day when I was told earlier that day it would be 2 days to finish. The salesman who we spoke with said how wonderful and how great this process would be and it honestly hasn’t been very great. I feel like he was definitely pulling the classic salesman act of just talking to make the sale.Edit: the project manager over our project called me and was very helpful and got me everything I needed and them some when it came to paperwork.

The owner was courteous, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The work of replacing my roof was fast and efficient. The work crew was professional and very good. They provided information and were very careful with my home and surrounding yard. They left my property clean!!! Follow up by the owner was meticulous and he went beyond the expected, helping me with things I could not do after the fact. I highly recommend this company if you need work done.

I was very pleased with the work done by Homefix Custom Remodeling. They said it would be between 3 and 8 weeks to get scheduled and it was scheduled after only 1 week! I was not home during some of the work but when I got home, it looked great and you would hardly know they were there. A few small things needed touching up and they were there very quickly to fix them. Everyone that I worked with was very professional and pleasant. Would definitely recommend them!

The doors were not square, had open-close issues and air gaps. Andy and his team did a great job putting the new siding on my house. I couldnt be happier enough with the way it looks and the skill with which they applied it. They definitely did a nice job on the customer service side and the price was also fair.

From start to finish the process was positive. The timeline from signing to completion was just as they said. James Taylor made a great introduction and he stayed in contact through the whole process making sure things were going as expected. Hes remained available for questions after the install as well. Carlos and his install team were very professional - installation was fast and they cleaned up after themselves. Were excited about the X5 windows and have definitely noticed a difference in the climate and comfort of the house.

Homefix was great! They did all the work in a single day. Everything was clean and efficient. It was a custom made door because of odd measurements created by the previous builders. Homefix knew what to do without a hitch. The door looks great. The air flow is significantly better. The door isnt leaking cold air like it used to. Wayyyyyyy too expensive. They are a complete rip off when it comes to roofs. Please please please do your research beforehand and get quotes from other roofing companies. I found out the hard way from neighbors that we were unfortunately ripped off. On top of it all, the customer service was terrible and they did a terrible job cleaning up after the job. Still finding nails in our yard and driveway months after the job....

Homefix Custom Remodeling had great, imaginative ideas for making our new space into what we desired, and they were more than ready to make adjustments to the strategies when we had spontaneous ideas, even after work started. In a lot of cases, they didnt charge us more for the non-major things (put in a recessed alcove, change the window sills, produce shelving, and so on). Our project was a total remodeling of our second floor, and it took a while. However, when it was done, we loved everything.

I had a major issue with a few personnel of the company, but when the owner got involved and that was quick, he not only resolved the issue with his pervasive charge that he pursued tirelessly. l am a believer, weather we end up doing business or not, l personally want to assure anyone looking to do business with this company, that you will never look over your shoulder.The owner will never let you down, l am happy to have come across a professional business man, who is a person of integrity and can be trusted.

Our roof was in really rough shape as were our gutters. HCR was in our neighborhood and offered to give us a free quote for our roofing project. Matt came out and gave us a quote that was entirely reasonable, was very patient with us and our questions, and very knowledgeable about roofing in general. We were 100% satisfied with the quote and decided to move forward and also did not feel taken advantage of in any way, shape, or form from start to finish. Initially we were given a 6 week turnaround but the roof was completed within 2 weeks of our quote. Maybe the initial 6 weeks is simply a standard practice to make sure they have enough lead time, but we were thrilled it was done so quickly. Our roof ended up having 3 layers of shingles and the entire decking (plywood) needed to be replaced; which I am so glad we had the wok done when we did. Some major storms literally came at the end of the day they completed the roof and soon thereafter. We ended up selected the higher end architectural shingle that can withstand winds up to 130 mph. Since we had a tornado come through town earlier in the year (albeit rare), this was a pretty good selling point. Quality materials, certified roofers, and knowing the training is approved by the shingle manufacturer were our primary concerns. There was only 1 minor issue that was resolved entirely to my satisfaction. Because the decking (again plywood) was replaced the vent from our microwave, which is vented through the roof, was not properly reinstalled after the decking was replaced. HCR promptly sent out a technician to resolve the issue and make sure the warranty would still be in force for the entirety of the roof. I probably could have fixed it myself, but I wanted to make sure the warranty would cover any issue that may arise from this area, and HCR was more than willing to accommodate. During the roof replacement we also had our gutters quoted to be replaced, which was again a reasonable price and the warranty with both the roof and gutters is phenomenal. The gutters are seamless and now dont spill over the sides like our previous gutters did. It is such a relief to know that everything above our heads is covered in both quality and with the warranty for the next 50 years. We can sleep well knowing that we are protected and covered both literally and figuratively in our home.

One company came to give us an estimate but took three weeks to actually send us a preliminary cost. Meanwhile, we had water leaking into our bedroom. My husband and I used Homefix Custom Remodeling to replace our front door and they did a great job. The sales rep, Melanie, was wonderful: very professional, friendly, knew her stuff, and when we wanted to change aspects of our order after our initial consultation, she was more than willing to accommodate us. The man who came to measure our existing door was extremely prompt, arriving and finishing with his work even before the two hour window we had been quoted had even begun. And when our door was ready for install, the crew that came to do the installation was friendly, courteous, very fastidious, and extremely tidy. They took out the old door, jamb and all, replaced it with the new one, installed new trim around the inside and caulked it, and even reinstalled our doorbell afterward, making sure that it worked. On top of all that, the crew vacuumed very thoroughly before they left, inside and out. We had a great experience with Homefix and if we have another job we need done in the future, well definitely give them a call.

We had a great experience with HCR. They gave us a fair price that was lower than some competitors, but with excellent quality work. Come time for window installation day, it went very smoothly and they finished 12 windows in one day. The workers were courteous, professional, and did great work. The windows look absolutely fantastic and we can now open our windows!! Before, they were painted shut, which we thought was a fire hazard. I also didn’t realize they’d replace the window borders on the outside, which replaced a lot of rotted material causing leaks. Lastly, these windows are so much easier to handle and clean. Looks soooo much better now with added functionality. One minor suggestion - after closing the deal and signing the papers, deal with the installation/billing office for payment. We initially dealt with the consultant for payment, who didn’t pick up payment after the first check was lost in the mail. The installation/billing office quickly processed this.

I love this company. I needed a new roof and I always hate having to deal with sales people. BUT, I had the best experience with the sales person. He listened to my needs, showed me my options and was not high pressure. The roof was installed about 2 weeks ago. I never realized what a difference a new roof would make. My house looks amazing. The team showed up, and worked non stop until the job was completed - which was same day. They cleaned up the yard and used a device that picked up any nails that had fallen off the roof during the installation. Could not be happier.

I am very impressed with HCR. The customer service is stellar. I met with Mr. Michael Anthony on a Monday and Bruce was there that Friday to measure my 29 windows and 5 doors. Delivery and installation was 1-2 weeks sooner than expected and I had several managers checking in that day to check on progress and my satisfaction. Mine is an older home and opening are not always square, but the installation crew took their time and did it right. It was a long day for them. I want to add that the installation crew was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend HCR and Mr. Anthony in particular.

I recently had several windows installed and I would highly recommend this company. The sales consult was interactive and informative, explaining all the features of the windows and other benefits (service plans, etc). The measurement appointment was done very quickly.There was a miscommunication on the first installation appointment and I was not informed of a weather-related reschedule for several hours. When I called, they handled the situation professionally and admitted their oversight. The installation a few days later went well and was completed timely. The crew was professional, clean, and personable.

They are the worst company ever when I try cancel in two day for the windows they send CEO and he told me I cant cancel it or I go court.Paper said you can cancel in 3days.They make me keep window total of $5,000. something that hurt me very bad with my finance.

I could not be more happy with this company. From the very start when they came out to determine how much power we required, to the designers, to the people who came out to inspect my roof, and finally the installers it couldnt have been better. All in all a great experience. I highly recommend these guys.

First of all I see they only seem to answer good reviews, that should be a clue. I called for a free estimate and was given a time between 6pm and 7pm. By 7:15pm no one showed up nor did I get a call with reason. I am glad from reading some of these reviews that they didnt now. If you cant keep the first appointment then why would you expect a job well done.

All Homefix representatives we dealt with were friendly and courteous. It took Homefix 3 times coming to our home to install a rear sliding glass door. On the 3rd and final time, they only sent one representative. I had to hang up on a teleconference I was attending and help the representative to do the install. Had I not, it would not have happened and I would have had to arrange to work from home for a 4th time. I am a reasonable person so this isnt a case of the customer is hard to please. This is simply a case of a customer who paid above market value to have a job done right and was really let down by a company he had done business with in the past.

They were speedy, professional and a pleasure to work with. We have had numerous neighbors comment on how good the house looks and even gave his number to a couple of them that were looking for similar work. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Every year, they like to come around - usually multiple times throughout the spring/summer season - and knock on doors to try to sell their services. 1) Certain counties require permits to solicit (or peddle) door to door, and that those permits be on your person. Doesn’t count if it’s “with your supervisor.” 2) Also, do not knock on my door well after sunset, especially as we’re talking spring/summer sunset times.

We signed our contract in Feb2018 and the job was completed late in 2018. Some of the delays was our fault. Roof, siding, windows and a little construction project. Picked HCR for all four projects, one reason, I did not want to coordinate each project and supervise each one. Ended up I still had to oversee the quality control with crews that spoke little to no English. They had to return many times repair shoddy work. Once completed everything looks good and as far as I know, according to all codes and standards.This was not a pleasant project.

I scheduled an appointment, but upon confirmation the representative informed me that BOTH my wife and I MUST be there or they wouldnt come out. Unfortunately I work late consistently and cannot be home. My wife will be home and can make all the decisions, but HCR refused to provide an estimate without my presence. They have lost a customer because of this policy. (I have no idea the quality of the work. I also note that the person who initially scheduled the appointment was very nice and helpful.)

After observing the concise and professional job HCR did installing my neighbors roof, I decided it was time and they were the company to install mine. The process was seamless and just as concise as I expected. The installation was completed in a timely manner with professionalism and courtesy. The only thing(s) keeping away the fifth star is the ambiguity of the written warranty and may be the need for a little more competitive pricing.

Their entire crew was very professional and worked like clockwork. No mess, no damage to plants or trees, and everything was cleaned up before they left so you never knew they were there. Do not waste your time with other roofers, go with the best.

I had windows installed in Feb 2017. Homefix has a great product and installed professionally it in less time than quoted. The process was effortless for me. A date and time was set to have the measurements taken and sent off to the manufacturer to be made per. Once finished I was contacted to set up an install date, the installation crew was courtious, quick and professional. I highly recommend Homefix Custom Remodeling.

Homefix Custom Remodeling (HCR) was wonderful to work with. In the last year we had four exterior doors replaced by HCR and just recently had 14 windows replaced by HCR. We have had replacement and new construction windows over the years and I can see this company really knows how to do the job correctly. After the window job was complete I mentioned to the lead installer that they seemed very efficient. I thought it would take them hours to install 14 windows. His comment to me was every person here knows their job and what to do. He explained everyone on the team is doing something and they work together. I always go for quality first! Job Well Done! Most importantly you can’t feel cold air coming in through the glass or trim! Fantastic!

The windows took significantly longer to arrive than many other companies windows, but came within the timeframe I was given from the start. One window arrived with the wrong grid pattern, but they replaced the glass with no issues. We put in 14 windows and I love them all! Highly recommend them in future for any kind of window or gutter service.

The guys that did the roof work did an excellent job and went above and beyond in the quality of their work. They also emailed me photos of the completed work. I am very satisfied with Homefix Custom Remodeling, would use them again and would recommend them to anybody that needs work done.

I recently hired home fix to replace 6 windows in my 55 year old house. I was pleasantly surprised when all was said and done with the overall company professionalism, the skill and quickness of the installation crew. They were able to complete the installation and only two and a half hours, did a wonderful job cleaning up and keeping me informed and the final result looks great and the windows are are definitely much more energy efficient than the old ones that I took out. I would not hesitate to use home fix remodeling in any of my future Home Improvement projects.

Had them come out to spec the job. They measured, ordered, and a few weeks later, the shower door came. they installed, its super smooth, and super clean, and they got rid of the old door too. Learned they do windows too, and will look to this small business to see if they can help me with that in the future too.

Just had our 40+ year-old windows and 17-year-old roof and skylights replaced. These projects were done by two separate crews who clearly specialize in their respective areas of expertise.BOTH crews were professional, courteous, friendly, and accommodating with my questions and requests. They did not mind me being present and overseeing their work, which is always a relief for me with home projects.I believe that the way the little things are done is a sign of how the big things are done — Not being an expert on these “big things,” and what exists below the surface, but seeing evidence of the little things being done right sent a very positive message to me and my wife — (Thoughtful preparation of work areas, a what-to-expect document sent in advance, clean caulking, straight/level workmanship & meticulous cleanup really stood out.)Would we recommend Homefix to friends and family? Heck yeah! ... and the house looks and feels like new again.

Collins was very very professional in dealing with us. He wanted our business but did not push annoyingly as some people have in the past. He took time to try to explain and pros and cons of everything we were looking at.

Excellent work, very professional builders. Final result looks outstanding, everything was cleaned up after the project was finished on time. Would definately recommend them!

They dropped the ball getting to my home for a first appointment and made excuses without an apology. The VP called me to apologize after I left a comment about it on their website. I accepted his apology and rescheduled. Nobody showed up at all. They lost my business without even making an estimate.

I actually purchased a roof from them about 2 years ago. I never got around to writing a review then because they never provided me with an after project opportunity as they said they would. That was their big selling pitch about having nothing but 5 star reviews from the quality in them as a whole. No wonder they say that because if a project they worked on goes south the don’t provide you with an option to review them honestly. Well at least with me. So here I am now writing one on google.There is absolutely nothing special about this company. You are paying a higher price for their service because you are paying for the extra laborers and inflated prices. Don’t let them sell you a dream on how their workers are so much better than any other roofing company (legitimate company). They really aren’t.If we want to entertain that idea whatever but that’s not even the main issue. Their salesman are ruthless vultures. At least the one I was unfortunate to meet, I believe his name was Michael Anthony.Anyways when it comes down to the paperwork and what he is authorized to do he lied in order to complete the deal.Be very careful with their lending companies as the one I ended up with was a predatory lending company. Not only did he mislead me in what he was authorized to do and what I could expect in interest I found out my loan had an additional hidden interest that I never even heard of before known as pier diem interest. I clearly and repeatedly asked after discussing the documents if there was any additional information I needed to know. I asked again about the interest and nothing was mentioned about any additional fees.They will lie to your face while you stroke that signature block as they tap dance their way to another victim.There is absolutely no reason to over pay when there is such an abundance of home improvements companies in this industry and on top of that to be screwed over on their financing. Don’t make the mistake I did in trusting this company. Do business with them at your own risk.This should have been a good review but it wasn’t. Doing business with them should have been simple and transparent.This review is more of a warning to not make the same mistake I did for any potential clients or anyone looking for home improvement projects to be done by this company.

I tried to get this company to come and give me a quote. They wouldn’t come out because my husband wasn’t gonna be home and I explained that I make all the decisions in the home. They still wouldn’t. I guess my small woman brain just can’t handle such a thing. They did end up making an appointment with me and cancelled an hour beforehand saying that they just couldn’t come out if my husband wasn’t home and that they would call me at the time of the appointment instead and give me a quote over the phone. I asked how they would even know since they have never been in my kitchen and I was told that they would “just give my a round about quote “..... never got a call.

Great service! A representative came to our door to ask if we wanted to get an estimate. He happened to be starting the process to look for a place to get new windows, so we said yes and decided to go ahead and hear about roofing and siding that we knew we would need soon as well. The quote representative came to our house and was very nice. The speal took a longer than we expected but we decided to go with them. They have great products and a warranty that you can not beat anywhere. The guy was super up front and didn’t sugar coat anything. We loved that he showed us the comparison to other local companies and their cost. We decided to get all three things done with them.We had our roof done first and they came at 7am and were done by the time we came home. The roof looks amazing and still does.We got our windows next and the crew was so nice, I was home with my newborn and they were worried about the noise level and her comfort. They did a great job and showed me how to use them and made sure that I looked around the whole house and was happy. We even had a little issue with a window that was special that we were changing and they were great about getting it correct very quickly.Lastly we got our siding. This is the crew we were less happy with. We had some special requests and the crew had no idea about any of it, but to be fair they asked and did the extras no problem. I think the siding high ups and the crews just need some better communication. We did have an issue where they put the shutters back up when we did not want them back up and they did not clean up around the house very well. We called our rep and complained and they sent out someone within the week to take down the shutters and replace the siding from those places and do a thourough walk around the property. And the siding looks great.Overall, we were very happy with the whole process. They were great at listening to us and very responsive when we said something was not done right and fixed it right away. I would just be very clear in your contract if you get siding and be there when the crew is there to make sure, especially if you are doing anything different than a straight redo.Would totally recommend to anyone.

Got our Roof replaced January 2018, fast forward a year. Felt a drip in my back, oh wow water is dripping from the ceiling fan. Husband calls they come out two days later, check everything out.Monday around 4:30am, I move my foot in my sleep and felt a wet spot. Low and behold ceiling is leaking again. My husband picks up the call and calls, no reply. Today I told him to send an email and we get a response to go to the website blah blah blah. Now someone will be here on Thursday. We had to moved the bed and put a trash can on the floor to catch the steady drip drop of water coming from the ceiling they the ceiling fan.

I had a new and improved, energy-efficient front door with frame put in. Everything went well, from promptness to quality materials to excellent and painstaking workmanship. Beautiful job. I am completely satisfied and pleased.

I would like to say that this is hands down one of the best companies to go through for any home exterior remodeling! Our sales representative, Michael Anthony was so thorough and responsive to our every need. As new home owners, Michael assured us we were in good hands and would make sure to provide only the top of the line materials installed by professionals who work for HCFR. The companys reputation and years of service alone made it extremely easy to trust Mike with this significant investment in our home. After our roof installation, there were a few shingles that were not positioned correctly and the Installation representative, Josh made sure to send the crew back out the next day to fix the minor mistake. Talk about A+ customer service! Not to mention we were so happy with the turnaround from the initial contract signing to the installation. It only took 3 business days, unheard of in the Northern Virginia Area! I have nothing but nice things to say about Michael and this company and wish that everyone would take advantage of the great deals and premium products that can be installed in any home remodeling projects.

I sustained considerable damage to my roof from a high velocity wind storm in March 2018. I met with the rep from Homefix on the evening after the storm. She gave a brief history of her company and presented the various roofing options to me and how she would help me feel “whole again” in terms of replacing my damaged roof. I met with two other roofing companies in the next day or so. I decided to give the job to Homefix Custom Remodeling because the rep, Winter S. went beyond expectation by agreeing to arrange for a tarp to be placed over my roof while waiting for the clearance from my insurance claims adjuster to proceed with the job. I was charged by Homefix my insurance deductible only and that was a great relief to me monetarily. The job was completed 3 weeks after the storm and I am pleased to say I have a beautiful roof. I would not hesitate to refer Homefix to anyone looking to have a roof replacement .

The crew was very professional and cleaned up everything after the job was performed. The insulation of the attic is working well. I would recommend HCR for any insulation job.

I was planning to replace the gutters eventually when a representative from HCR knocked on my door. It was motivation to initiate the educational process to learn about gutter materials, sizes and prices. A meeting was arranged for the following evening. Kai was the account associate who was knowledgeable and patient and provided a brief presentation.I was convinced to forgo estimates from other companies due to fair price negotiations and the willingness of HCR to customize the gutter and downspouts to the larger 5” and 3” x 4” options, respectively. The 50 year umbrella warranty was a further attractive feature.Andy was easy to work with to arrange with accommodating crew manager, Jerson, to install the final two sections of gutter guards and to provide the final two payments to Ryan.

The worst company to do business with. A complete rip off and furthermore, once they lure you in, they jack up the price. Forcing you to fork out thousands. No way someone can back down once your roof is GONE. JUST horrible. They also left the place a mess and refused to come back to fix bad areas, never picked up their materials and damaged our siding in the process. Biggest mistake we have ever made was going with this company. Please look elsewhere or you’ll regret it like we do. All the negative reviews are 100% accurate. Any positive reviews must be family or fabricated.

I am grateful for this company who came right out to my home durning a rain storm to patch my roof. The tech was kind and honest about my repair. I highly recommend them for roofing or any home improvements.

I am updating my review. The initial experience with HCR was great, but unfortunately the project dragged on and the communication went from good to terrible. However, the company ended up reaching out and apologizing, and explained that the excessive storms of the spring had not only resulted in more jobs than they expected, but also resulted in numerous jobs being postponed since the crews cannot do roof jobs in the midst of dangerous storms. They also explained that the person I was dealing with had left the company, and unfortunately my job had slipped through the cracks. Over the next few weeks they took great care to communicate with me every step of the way. Josh in the insurance department was always reachable, and very responsive. Andy in the siding department was really great, and his communication was excellent. The finished product -- roof and siding -- look great. In fact, the siding looks much better than I could have expect!

HCR is a top notch company from purchasing to completion. They installed my roof yesterday. The workers arrived and got to work immediately. They completed the job in approximately 5 hours and cleaned up everything when they were done. I appreciate the company for following up with me during and upon completion of the project.

This company did roof work on a house next door to my friends house where I parked my vehicle alone in my friend’s driveway for 2 hrs while visiting. I came out to find scratches and marks all over the driver side of my vehicle. It was obvious that these marks were not from natural causes as the damage ran from the top of my car down to the bottom of the door like debris had fallen from the roof. We contacted the company as they were no where to be found when I went out to find the damage. They acted like they were going to help us out to cover the damages on my car so we sent them all of our info as well as photos and went ahead with the $1500 repair on my car only to find that they told the insurance company they would not pay because I had no proof. Yes, I had no proof because the singles or debris were removed from my car and the company was out of sight when I found the damages. It was a windy day and things happen, however, I’m saddened and frustrated that this company would not own up to what they did and try to make it right. I would not trust a company like that with my home repair.
