Your warranty is absolutely meaningless. For any performance issue, they can say we found no defect and close the claim. We filed a claim because our windows get really hot when the sun hits them and Simonton tested 3 windows with a little clicker and closed the case saying theyd tested all windows. When I complained, they reopened the case and took a window facing northeast in the shade to test. They said the glass was good so closed the case again. So, 6 months in and we have windows that dont perform like we were sold but Simonton just says we cant find an issue, case closed. Imagine if your doctor did that when you went in with a fever. Well, I couldnt figure out what it is, so case closed, go home. Simonton makes builders grade windows and doors. If your installer is using them you will have virtually no recourse if something goes wrong and Simonton refuses to play ball.

We all expect great customer service when we originally purchase a product. However, Simonton proved to be a total class-act in providing us with under-warranty replacement sashes in a painless, respectful manner. I contacted Simonton about replacement windows already a decade old, not knowing where the identifying codes were located. Lois Garner of Consumer Services walked us through the entire process. She did not stop there. 1 of the 3 replacement windows arrived in shards (might have been UPS fault) but again replaced the sash. I am singing the praises of Simonton to the rafters.
Home was built in 2013 builder had to meet the wind litigation standards for 2010 so he bought Simonton windows. Hurricane Irma in 2017 tested our windows and NO damage. Now its fall of 2019 and Im having issues with the window screens. Seems those plastic corners that are on the south side of the house are crumbling, I cannot find them anywhere. Those corners are longer then the available ones you can buy so Im in a issue all new screens from a 3rd party or contact Simonton. What wonderful customer service I simply filled a warranty complaint and some pictures of my window serial numbers and I got NEW screens! It took less then a 2 week time frame and at no cost to me all new, Im so impressed they would do this! Great customer service!
I am very happy with customer support. 8 years after a 23 window purchase, I had a sash with some issues. They replaced it without question, just needed the barcodes and a cell phone picture of the issue.
Very disappointed with the warranty service. Its basically like an auto dealer that will offer a warranty on your car by handing you an engine to replace yourself. I have a guillotine instead of a window.
My boyfriend Tom Fesler works there he stays busy, good hours and they are fair...
I loved the windows however the seals are broken in 2 windows. I will be contacting the company and see if they stand behind their product
