They came to take measurements. About three months later they came to install. Installation took a little over a day. Windows look great and are well insulated. Installers were very professional and I would strongly recommend Window World to anyone looking to buy windows.

Has anyone had Window World install windows? I had them come over and measure windows on April 29. They request half the money down to place the order. My check cleared May 2. The guy was supposed to measure all 10 windows but he only measured 8. He came back out a few days later and measured all the windows again and included the two downstairs that he missed. A couple weeks later they send another guy out to check the measurements because the previous guy was new. I called the office to make sure the front doors I wanted were the ones he ordered. The girl who answered told me she would have a contractor call me the next day. Nobody called. If they bring the wrong doors I am going to throw them back into the yard. As it has been 3 months now I called to see when my windows would be done. They make their own windows. I was told the windows are done and in the shop but we havent been put on the installation schedule yet, they will call. Fast forward, last week I get a call that due to weather, vacations etc it will be at least 3 more weeks before we get put on the schedule. I finally saved enough money to get all new windows and doors and was so excited to have them ordered but the excitement has faded into anger. At this point I just want my money back and they can keep my windows and doors. I cannot recommend Window World to anyone. They only give 3 days to cancel the order so stuck with them now. Maybe by Christmas I can have them installed,

I have no experience with their work because they refuse to return calls, even simple inquiries. How they stay in business is anybodys guess.

This is a review of the overal service to date as I have not yet recieved my windows. I ordered my windows in May 2018. I was told in writing to expect 6 weeks to fabricate windows. Cool. In July I was told they have been so busy they were behind and the windows were not ready yet. Manager was on vacation so I could not get afurther information at tht time. Mid-August, windows were finally ready for install but cant get a mutually agreeable time for install. Got 1 call out of the blue to do the install on a Friday, Aug24th, same day install that morning at 9am, however with no advanced warning I was 2 hours away out of town. Its now September 18th. I have a tentative install appt weather permitting. I hope its done before winter. Cant really review windows, quality, or installation yet... but at just over $500 per window I hope they are everything theyre purported to be or Ill definitely be back on here announcing to the Window World community what they are all about. At this point Im not impressed. Ill update once install is completed.

Love the windows I got so far. Installers was great. But still waiting on my bow window to come in and installed. Windows was ordered in January. Finally first week in June, all was installed but the bow. The installer knew right off that the bow window was the wrong size without having the window with him. He talked to the Vienna wv office and they told him that the window would had to be re measured by the manager to make sure to get the right size this time instead of going by what the installer, which they are the professionals in the installation, and had to wait till the manager came off vacation to come out and measure. Which Two weeks had passed and finally got a call to schedule a date to measure. Date was scheduled. I asked them if they would call me at work when they was leaving for my house so I would have my daughter in law to come down and let them in or could leave the door unlocked. Waited all day for the call. The next day I called the office to see why he did not come out. They decided that they would reorder the bow window according to the installers measurements which is another 3 weeks. Should have been done that way In June when the others was installed. Did not call and let me know that. So was ordered and was schedule to be delivered July 5 and installed July 6th. As again did not hear from them. I called the office to see what was the problem this time. Excuses. Holiday schedule and delivery are the excuses I get. Got same in May and same in July. Another two weeks to wait. Now waiting for July 16. So will see what happens then. Which that week I will be out of town. I hope they get their act together and hope another customer dont have to go thru this. 6 months for windows. Wow. What a company.

They do not service their product even though it has a lifetime guarantee. If anything is wrong they will try to put you off until you give up.
