It was the coolest hardware-lumber-building supply store I have been to. Everyone was so nice and cool and Davey was so nice and knowledgeable. Its part antique store and part modern day with new age products. An atmosphere the is needed in todays world! Ill be back for all their help but especially Davey !

The store service here is beyond exceptional. I stopped this morning to shop for some Baldwin hardware and I was treated as If I was purchasing half of the store. The owner himself helped me find some knobs and pulls but because I was unsure that my husband would like them, I mentioned to him that I will need to come back with my spouse to make my final decision. The owner insisted that I would take some of the knobs I liked and then pay for them later. Mr. Sheets reminded me of the good old days when people trusted one another. Mr. Sheets never met me before and I am sure we ever purchased any products from his company but the mere fact that he treated me with so much respect, I was deeply touched. His simple gesture made my day and restored my faith in people, particularly in light of all the divisive rhetoric that has been dominating our media outlets. Mr. Sheets, thank you for your kindness and beautiful soul. You got a fan in me and I promise you I will make a point for checking out your store before I ever go to Lowes or Home Depot, just in case you have what I need. Good men do still still exist. Ordered some hard to find lengths of PT lumber and it was delivered within 30 minutes of placing the order. Delivery driver was friendly and helpful. Super good customer service, if you ask me.

Great place. They have always come through with stuff (particularly lumber) that the big box places don’t have. It is conveniently located in Vienna.

Old school place where the owner/operator knows his stuff. Pricing on some boards was better than other places in the area and the owner was just a nice, thoughtful guy even though his frankness caught me off guard at first. No returns on the lumber I bought, which is fine with me. Will be back in the future for any contractor type needs

I needed around 60 pieces to frame in a new bathroom in our basement. I was tired of sorting through the big box store lumber to find reasonably straight pieces, so I called an order into Sheets and picked it up the next day. Their service was very good. The lumber price was around 20% higher than the big box stores, but it was higher quality kiln dried fir and every piece was straight. And after sitting around for few days it was still straight. Ill be back.

This is the best kept secret in the heart of vienna. The heck with going to home depot or liwes. These guys have what you need or will get it for you. They are knowledgeable and are excellent at taking care of you and whatever your project entails. Check them out asap and bring tough questions. You will not be disappointed!

They purposely sold me 3/4 ply as treated that wasnt treated.The yard man made a specific effort to cover the un treated ply with some 1/2 treated ply.By the time I got it home and off the van roof it was too late. Getting it off the roof is one thing, getting it back up there is another. I called Sheets and the owner just blew me off. Sheets used to be my go to lumber yard, no more! This vendor is blatantly dishonest do not patronize them.

Very bad customer service! They accept no returns! The employee didnt even check the receipt. I will never ever order here again!! I asked for the return policy and the guy said no return! This is my business, not yours! and hung up! OMG Im giving one star to post this review. What I really want to give is minus 100!!

A full service lumber yard. They had many of the materials I could not find elsewhere and at a reasonable (maybe not the cheapest) price. Knowledgeable staff that knows their products well. On a par with Smoots in terms of quality, service and price.

Ordered a large piece of lumber, Dave said he would deliver it next day. It never arrived. Dave said his driver delivered it, but we never received it. They had no signature or proof of delivery. He just said it was delivered and he believed the driver. I was really surprised by the poor customer service and will not shop at Sheets Wholesale again.

Last year, I bought some items from Sheets. I called regarding a problem I had, and they described a solution I liked. I drove 30 mins. to see them, and if the solution would work. No one else had a solution, though several tried to convince me to do it their way with their solution. I was happy with Sheetz, so ended up spending $275. Everyone was nice, someone gave me a thumbs up and a smile for my Pink Floyd tee shirt. They helped me load my car with some bulk items. Fully above-average experience -- one Id do again with no reservations.This past Thursday, I called for more custom items. They said theyd order it, so I purchased by credit card. They called me first thing Friday (the next day), saying I could pick it up. Wow! But I worked late, and didnt follow through. They called again first thing Saturday to see if all was ok, and that theyd be open until noon Saturday (today) if I wanted to get the order. I didnt even know they were open on Saturdays! I went to pick up, everyone was very nice. Since I didnt pick up on Friday as Id indicated, they stored my stuff safely.I love hardware stores -- and they have a ton of stuff I dont get to see at HD/big box. I asked a couple questions, they gave me some great ideas. I didnt purchase extra goodies, but they ended up helping me get my order out to my car. When I got home, I noticed that my invoice had a hand-written thank you note on it.This comes across as fan-boy, but Im not affiliated with this place and I dont think Im being over-the-top. I will still buy a handful of screws or a random 2 x 4 from the big box store that is 5 mins from my house. But if I need something substantial, and help understanding my options and how to choose the right level of quality for my job, Im going to drive 30 mins. to Sheets.

Very Rude I called asking what information I needed to order a Baldwin Door lever to replace my existing front door lever. Person on the other end got angry and told me they dont sell Yale brand. I reiterated that I wanted Baldwin Brand and he said you have Yale. I said no I dont, then he hung up.

I needed to purchase specialty hardware for an ornamental gate. The staff at Sheets were helpful and courteous at all times.

Not open on Saturdays. No posted hours of operation. No answering machine with message telling of normal business hours.

Recommended good installer.

I didnt find what I was looking for, but the customer service offered by Davie was exceptional.
