This is a great Walgreens to shop at. I usually shop here every other day. The staff on the overnight shift are very friendly and helpful. The managers Will, and Riley are very nice to me and my husband when we come in. I would recommend this Walgreens for anyone who needs something like at 3am when other stores are closed, they are open 24 hours and it great!! 😊

Impossible to reach anyone by phone. If you do, it may be directed to an off site call center. I’ve waited over an hour on the phone multiple times. When you do get through, the call is often dropped or someone is hanging up.I do not recommend this Walgreens for anyone taking a controlled substance or someone that may have the need to contact the store pharmacy.I have also had issues, like another reviewer, where my doctor sent over my prescription, yet the pharmacy claimed to have never received it. I assumed that my doctor and I were just both confused. Reading other’s experiences has me thinking that it may have actually been a pharmacy error, although this is only speculation.Staff have generally been courteous and efficient, but likely understaffed for a busy 24 hour location.

Beware this location if getting a COVID test for travel. Pharmacy staff did not give me the information I needed to track my sample (apparently I was supposed to know to ask for the sticker with my name, DOB and requisition number). Then they called to say my COVID-19 prescription had been cancelled. When I called back to find out what that even meant, the staff was extremely rude and dismissive, no one could figure out where my test was and basically yelled at me that I would get a result in 3-5 days. What a way to treat people. On top of that, when I finally got the test result back, they had put the wrong date the sample was collected.

Would not fill inhaler prescription as ordered by the doctor. Insurance has also authorized.Pharmacist stated it was as needed and I should not need it at this time.

Terrible experience EVERY time I order online to pick up my order from the store. They can NEVER find my order. Have to speak to the manager every time, who is VERY unprofessional and tries to argue with me and BLAME me, the customer, for their inability to find my order. Ill be going out of my way to shop at CVS instead from now on. I already stopped using the pharmacy here after never being able to get my prescriptions filled without a problem.

They say 30 minutes, its a lie! Its 3:00 p.m.On a Friday. I had to take in my 3 scripts and said I wait Then I was told it would be an hour or so. I couldnt wait. Needed to go back to work. The Pharmacy is very slow!!!!Ive never waited more then 20 mins at other pharmacies and they were busy.

Dont use this pharmacy. They tell you 20 minutes, which turns into an hour. More then half the time, only this pharmacy has issues finding your prescriptions and issues with your insurance company. Theyre there to collect a paycheck and nothing else. They can care less about the customers.

This has to be one of the BUSIEST Walgreens Ive ever been to. Rush hour seems to be a swarm of people that it looks like the city during a festival, everyone trying to go to the same places. During their downtime, things seem peaceful. Regardless of which, the staff always tries to help each customer (which can be great for that one customer, but seem bad for the next). However I appreciate it because it means theyre trying to help however they can. Pharmacy can be a bit of a process during the mad rush when everyone is leaving work. Seems everyone and their parents just show up at this time, making the lines move slow and lengthy. Insurance problems, prescription issues, and OMG this one had like 12 to pick up.. But again, the staff always tries to help. I appreciate this Walgreens for all the hard work they put into this city-like store.

Excellent and fast service if you go later in the day. Forget about it if you come during evening rush hour. The tech was friendly and prompt. I’m just happy they have a drive thru! Five kids going to the store with me is a nightmare written all over it!

My God, hands down the worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with as a patient and a prescriber. I’ve encouraged my patients not to use this pharmacy because I will receive electronic confirmation that a prescription has been received by the pharmacy but when a patient shows up, they are turned away and are told there is nothing on file. Cut to me calling back 5 min later and they realize they had it filled and ready to go after the patient has already left. I’ve also had them fill a verbal Rx under a different name, date of birth and state of residence for a patient but they went in and edited that elderly patient’s account with my pediatric patient’s demographics. Talk about a HIPAA violation when that patient’s parents call in and get all of that other woman’s information.

I cant speak for regular staff at this Walgreens but the pharmacy staff unbelievably disappointing..especially the night crew....9/10 just there to do mediocre work... this is the second Walgreens Ive have had extensive trouble filling my prescription... when they figured out how to fill and process it properly the first time it gave me hope...Unfortunately I have had issues ever since...only getting it resolve by a select few that are willing to go above and beyond which requires a phone call... looking to transfer everything asap... cant believe Walgreens would allow people like this to work for them when they are met to help people when they are at their worst

I dont know what it is with this location but it always seems like theyre short staffed. The driveway takes forever so sometimes its just faster to go inside. The store is clean and the staff are nice otherwise.

ONLY ONE 24 hours open Pharmacy Walgreens. Works great. The best place. We needed to get prescription medication immediately at late night. That place worked

I never thought I Will be giving a bad review of any Walgreens, Because most locations are always consistent with providing good services. I recently moved to the area. Unfortunately I am always not satisfied each time I visited the pharmacy on this location. Its always with lines which is unusual compare to other locations. On two occasions, the refill I made over the phone was stall because they said the insurance did not approve,the only reason i call is to make it clear I was paying out of pocket otherwise I will use the auto system. For two consecutive weeks now, I was given two unfamiliar brand of my medications, at this point I am not sure of what medicines I am putting inside of me.I hope someone in charge see this review and help make the necessary changes.

Best pharmacy and store staff! The only Walgreens I go to is this one because it’s such a great team.

Edit: received my medicine empty yesterday after my dad brought it home gonna go today to talk to pharmacist.Good Walgreens but Highland one is a little better in my opinion. Good Walgreens my mother always goes here, For her prescriptions.

Kia has no customer service skills at all. Her attitude is terrible. When I see her at the register I want to walk right back out the store.

Really unprofessional, rude as hell . No greetings or non of that from start to finish …..I guess the name of the pharmacist was Carolina, full of attitude tired looked mad . Unbelievable customer service . With 4 tech working behind the counter no one has courtesy to come out and help customers which I believe they where 3 customers waiting in line. Nice clean and inviting store. The pharmacist are extremely helpful and generous. They are always prepared to help you and answer questions. Plenty of parking and an outdoor redbox kiosk. This location is 24 hours which is perfect. The photo area is perfect and offers timely photo delivery. I really like Walgreens but the liquor pricing is a bit overpriced.

Alex helped me look in 3 different areas for tea tree oil. I really appreciated all his time. He even offered to look in a 4th place for me. Excellent customer service! :)

This Walgreens is a mixed bag. It is easy to get in and out for general goods but the pharmacy is slow. They also never seem to get the Rx ready in time even when they say it will be ready at a specific time. I have been using this Walgreens for 3 years and just the other day they said i was not in their system. Had to spend the extra time to re-give all my info. Not the end of the world but why does this happen? Makes me question their systems. Might consider changing pharmacys soon.

This Walgreens pharmacy is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. I pick up 9 prescriptions per month so I have considerable experience. I’ve been DENIED prescriptions when I show up in a t-shirt and sweatpants, but when I come back an hour later dressed in my button-up and slacks for work it’s as if the reasons I was denied melt away. Prepare to be PROFILED at this Walgreens. They also will arbitrarily ask for your ID and prevent my wife from picking up my prescriptions. This is literally the only pharmacy I’ve ever experienced this type of harassment. The ONLY time I tolerate it is when I have no choice, but to use a 24hr pharmacy. I wish the leadership and training team good luck with life. They’re actions and inadequately will eventually catch up to them and hopefully prevent them from further advancing their careers and doing even more damage.

Continually the worst Walgreens in the area. They are incompetent in all areas, managing checkout, working the photo counter and helping with questions. The pharmacy here is slow as well.The location on St Charles in Villa Park is 5 star. Their managers have routinely handled my issues with speed and class.

Be careful before using this Walgreens. There are extremely long lines with usually only one cashier and you can wait up to an hour just to get to the cashier. Pharmacist do not follow up with doctors as requested by patients and prescriptions go back into the queue instead of being filled correctly.

Pharmacy staff are frequently inept and will tell you one thing while doing another. I was left to wait for an hour before being told they forgot to put in my script. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to tell me I couldnt fill it a day early even thought THREE separate employees had informed me I had. This is just one story of many. Im pretty sure Ive cried there several times because of their rudeness, lack of empathy, and inability to apply consistent rules.

I love this store. They are so helpful. They go above and beyond to fix any problems that occur and answer any questions that I may have!!!!!!

Very unimpressed with the customer service experience from the drive thru window so I parked and went inside and staff was just rude saying they short staffed, not sure why they didn’t refer customers to alternative Walgreens pharmacy. One star was way too high of a rating.

Conveniently open 24 hours.Pharmacy is a mess. Takes years to get the order filled. Are sometimes out of stock and after many days of empty promises, I went elsewhere.

The most inept pharmacy staff I have ever seen. It is very rare to have a prescription filled without having to come back 2-3 times. The pharmacists (with the white lab coats) are actually pretty helpful, but seeing one is as rare as seeing a snow leopard in Africa. The pharmacy techs are one big group of failure. They never get anything right. 95% of the time, you will be told to come back a second (or 3rd) time to get your medicine. Its never ready when they say it will be ready. Seems like the techs are all students who are totally clueless. Dont get yourself trapped here by bringing a monthly or repeat prescription because you will never, ever get your refill on the day it was promised.

I just now got off of the phone with this pharmacy. They were charging me $80 for a prescription that I paid $32 in Northlake Walgreens Pharmacy. My price was reduced to $32 after I explained that I got it for way cheaper price from other location of WALGREENS.Reason I was given - We did not apply your discount card.This is all shady. Which discount card would give you $50 discount on $80 medication?What if I would have come to this pharmacy for my first prescription?!

The pharmacy department is out of control- they just don’t know what they are doing - and the pharmacists are overwhelmed. Unprofessional, unfriendly and do not ever try reaching them by phone!

Went to the care clinic this morning and was seen-good experience there. After being diagnosed they sent prescriptions directly to the pharmacy within the store. I was told my name would show up on the screen with the status of my prescription. After 15 minutes my name wasnt there-I didnt expect my meds to be ready that quicky-however I wanted to make sure my prescription was being processed at least. I stood at the front waiting for someone to notice I was there for a few minutes. After being noticed I was told 20 minutes. Not only am I sick, but I have a sick 2 year old as well so during that 20 minute wait I went and picked her up from the sitter. I then come back to the drive thru and hit the call button. Wait a full 5 minutes for someone to come to the window I am told that it will be 30 minutes until my script is filled.The convenience of going to the care clinic and having the pharmacy there was completely worthless today. My husband then went back over an hour later and they couldnt find the prescription for 10 minutes. Never again.

I have been trying to get into the take care clinic for over 3 days now. Each time I go in they are no longer accepting patients. I went in as early at 5:45PM. Highly unprofessional service and highly dissatisfied. I suggest stay away from this location if you are sick.

Dont expect to get your prescriptions on time, but do expect to wait quite a while in line. They are either under staffed or inept.

My Walgreens put me on hold for over 20 minutes and so I hung up. I called this Walgreens and they answered my prescription question within 1 minute!
