My go to grocery store! Love this place and their selection. Super fresh stuff and love the TACOS! Prices are fantastic and the staff is always helpful. Since the start of the pandemic, I have noticed they take special notice and precautions to keep staff and customers safe. Highly appreciated and always recommending villa park!

Came in to get some fruits and vegetables and ended up taking more than that. The store had plenty of parking and while inside you can get most things. There is also a restaurant inside where you can seat and eat. There is also a bakery so you can get a pastry to take. You can even order a cake for a birthday or even for a wedding.On front of the store you can get a coffee or juice among other sweets.The checkout was fast and on my way with more than I was looking for.

I moved to Villa Park a couple years ago and since then, VPFM has been my one-stop shop. The food is always fresh and they have quite a variety of options whenever I want to switch up my cuisines. I appreciate having a quality food store in my neighborhood. Happy customer

I dont how they cam manage to give customers such a poor experience but it may have something to do with the extremely abusive owners. We all know that bullying of any sort is unacceptable. How they can treat customers and employees the way they do is beyond me. Know better, do better.

More than just a fruit market, its a full grocery store but with these insanely good mexican beef and chicken (some kinda spicy because of the sauce its in or the sliced chiles) dishes to go in the back and a fully functional bakery on the way out. They also have a coal fed grill back in the entrance for chicken, which If Im correct, is always grilling during store hours. Give it a try.

This place is great. They have a lot of great items, and their hot food in the back is also really really good. I love this place and have been going here regularly since 2005.

The store is fine but the low review is for the Bakery. We were here seven days ago and noticed that there were no doors for the pan dulce. We reported this to the Bakery cashier. Seven days later and there are still no doors. Again spoke with the cashier but this rude Bakery guy came and said it isnt the stores responsibility. Enjoy your fly ridden pan dulces!

Customer service is inadequate! The product clearly indicates a date of 11/17 it is 11/20 and it is bad and they want a receipt even for a store credit. The product is clearly theirs. Standing behind the product you sell makes for a better business.

Love this place always come here alot. Everyone is so nice and specially the cashiers, they are fast and friendly. Tho best cashier of all the is the only male cashier there. He is so quick and u can easily have a great conversation with him. 10/10 store

I have been shopping here for going on 3 years now. I love the price on produce, and one of the only places I can get Tunas (prickly pear cactus fruits). One of my faves. Their guacamole and pico are worth the trip alone. Their deli has great prices, though the variety is less than say Caputos. Their taco counter has good food for a decent price. I have gotten the arrachetta (I am sure I am not spelling this right) for grilling and it has always been good, and their deveined shrimp is also a good price. Cashiers are relatively fast and courteous. Their is an older lady who seems to run the front end, she is a great asset to the store, she keeps it moving, is pleasant, and I have seen her manning a register as well. Their chicken dinner is a nice easy meal and it smells and tastes great. Lastly, they responded in a good fashion to the pandemic, and it was a level of comfort especially in the early days knowing this store was open. The one criticism I will cite, I would be careful of the baked goods by the deli. I have gotten pretzel buns and jalapeno corn bread there that when I opened at home had mold.

Great place to grocery shopping. Very affordable prices on meats fruits and produce. The staff and the workers are the best very helpful and kind. Been coming here for a long time 10 yrs plus.

Outstanding produce. Salsa was the best and I can say that their ingredients was fresh. Staffs were nice and very friendly.

I purchased a pack of tortillas then I get home and I saw them rotten. I called and the person answering the phone gave me an attitude cuz I was explaining to her the tortillas were bad that they should dispose them and she told me that they bring in fresh tortillas everyday but how when mine are rotten. I questioned and she hang the phone on me. Not the first bad experience here. First was a one day old French bread and bow this? Oh Villa Park fruit market you will never get another penny of mine.

Great market been going for over 14yrs. I recommend it to friends and family. I love when they have good sales. Nice to see how its been developing into a bigger market. Great music and love all of the people that work there. Especially Elsa!!!

One of our favorite stores. They have great prices on deli, fresh produce thats always well stocked and their butcher area is great best place to get steak meat cut and tenderized when its on sale. Staffs always friendly and helpful too. Our familys been shopping here for probably as long as its been open.

Deli has excellent prices but be prepared to wait, they never have more than 1 person behind the counter.Excellent, fast, hot, cheap Mexican food available at their hot food counter.Great in-house bakery with all the typical sweet, Mexican breads. Delicious, well-priced cakes too.

Good selection of fresh veggies the grocery part is a bit on the small side. During summers they grill up some awesome smelling chicken too bad it’s not zabiha, I’ve thought at time to bring him my own chicken just to grill up.

Same faces in this place for over a decade. Great fresh produce, best around. Great deli. I always get my salsa chips n dips here. Butcher counter has small cuts of meat vs. Caputos or Jewel. This is a grocer you can go into with $40 and get 3 good bags of food with. Hot food station in store by deli.

There are some good deals in regards to the produce if you cherry pick em. The meat selection can be iffy meaning you can visually see that not all the meat is fresh. You will be able to see brown spots on the meat thats going bad. Overall, a gem considering the demographic of customers its serving. Dont expect a Whole Foods or Marianos like experience and youll be fine.

Their chorizo and AlPastor are gluten free, but can have some contamination, per the very nice butcher. He also was gluten free and said he has had no problems, but said they use bread crumbs for the things so he couldnt say it was perfect. He was super nice, understood the gluten issue, and very helpful.

My wife and I have been coming here for a while and I have to say they have by far the best prices and quality of produce and bakery. You have to try their Bakery especially. Weve gone to Jewel Osco for a while for certain things but prefer Fruit Market for fruit and bakery. Highly recommend.

Great produce and meat. I prefer arrachera from here rather than the other grocery stores nearby. The bakery has a good selection. Knocked off one star because besides the meat/produce, the items are too expensive. $7 for a bottle of clamato? Thats ridiculous.

I placed an order for my wedding cake from these guys and on the day of the wedding they forgot to make my cake!! When we called they started asking sooo many qs that didnt add up. Then 2 hrs later they delivered an UGLY cake that didnt look ANYTHING like the one we ordered. Basically they ruined my wedding cake :/ sadly. Very poor service.

You cant beat $1 tacos, but my family got food poisoning from their tacos and spent the night in the ER. The manager was outraged at me for telling him about it. They cooks dont change their gloves frequently and dont wash their hands before putting on gloves. Additionally, the meat was not properly temped. I will be calling the health department. Their veggies and fruits are nicely priced. The other items are severely over priced

First time there was looking for something to grab for lunch, hoping for a salad bar. Unfortunately there was none, but at the front of the store there is a little counter you can get panini and sandwiches. Had the Turkey Fajita panini, super delicious and flavorful using Boars Head products and fresh pico de gallo. Panini with small bag of chips and a can of soda was $3.99... what a deal! I will be back for lunch and grocery shopping, the store looked impressive.
