I am not the most politically correct so there was a no BS attitude and what he said he could do is what he did. When I went to sign paperwork there was no add on’s or hidden prices. Libertys service department is OUTSTANDING! Theres no place Id rather have service my vehicle than Liberty. Ive been a customer of theirs for 2.5 years and my family and I are very pleased with the care provided to our vehicles. I am always greeted by name when I call as well as when I enter their facilities, this is an excellent form of customer service skills that many companies lack. Whether if its Hal, Katy, or Daniel...I know my vehicles are in great hands. No matter if its an major or minor issue the 3 of them tackle it with ease. They are the perfect examples of customer service that others should model themselves after.

Prior to going to Liberty Chevrolet, Ive had bad experiences with Mike Bell, pushy dealer, overpriced service, and unique for my grandmother refusal to take her gm employee discount on car sales. To say the least, Mike Bell left a bad taste in my mouth. Liberty Chevrolet so far has given me a good experience, they were honest and forth coming about pricing and current deals and I did not feel as though I was being rushed into a purchase. Jason was the dealer I worked with at Liberty and he did excellent work and I can say Ill happily do business with Liberty again in the future.

I went in to buy a used vehicle, specifically a 2005 Chevy Dart I saw online. At first I was greeted with a smile, everything was going great until Ron showed up. Don’t get me wrong Ron was a nice guy at first. I got to talking about the Dart with ron, and he told me a little about it and then I said “Yes! Let’s do it!” We went into Ron’s office, and this is where things went wrong. Ron told me to have a seat, so I did. Then he went behind his desk and pulled some kind of lever and that’s when the handcuffs came out. Ron proceed to handcuff me to the chair and wouldn’t let me go. I scream for help and nobody came. I could see people staring from the outside of the glass from his office. All the employees there watched. I don’t want to go into anymore details but this was the worst car purchasing experience I have ever had. I enjoy the car but I can’t get over Ron. I miss him. He won’t return my calls

They don’t seem to understand that when you tell me this afternoon definitely then the next afternoon is unacceptable. I don’t care that you loan me a car-you can only go 150 miles a day and we were 200 one way from home. The quality of the work is great! I just don’t appreciate being lied to then you tried to come up with excuses as tho it’s somehow our fault The mechanics did a great job tho so if you are not on a schedule and don’t mind that they don’t seem to care if you are it’s fine.

For the past 5 days I have been in contact with this dealership regarding the purchase of a brand new Chevy Suburban that is in transit, I was advised that the management team would be meeting to discuss whether or not I would be able to put a hold on this vehicle and buy it. Monday, August 30, I was advised that they decided I could in fact purchase it and that I would have first dibs as long as I submitted my credit application and was serious about the purchase, I advised I was because I have been in the market for some time now for this particular vehicle. I was told that my credit wouldn’t be ran until the vehicle was closer to the dealership and at that point we would discuss the final numbers and I could put my deposit down. I did everything this dealership asked of me. They ran my credit and my husbands credit, and while I was on the phone with the finance office giving them my payment information, they sold the vehicle to another person, right out from under me.They literally state on their website “Regardless of your automotive needs, we will always treat you with the respect and integrity you deserve en route to providing a world-class car-buying experience”, “Although anyone or business can sell vehicles, its our people that set us apart”, “ each of our people is hand-picked because of their unwavering commitment to customer service”, “Our trained staff will help you along every step of the way to provide problem-solving solutions that truly make a difference. Each automotive professional at our dealership is empowered to place your needs first and always do whats right.”These are all lies and false advertising, I have never been so disrespected and lied to by anyone. This is the worst business and they DO NOT put their customers needs first in any way. Now my husband and I have that ding on our credit from them running it, we still have no suburban and have to begin looking again, and go through the whole process of being financed again.The worst part is this so called business has not tried to resolve this issue, when I called and explained the issue the receptionist made the comment “it’s a dog eat dog world out there” and transferred me to a manager, who at that point advised he was not aware of all the details and someone else would contact me and I have heard nothing back.

We bought a truck from JR Duncan 2 years ago and we still talk about how easy the process was. I told him exactly what we wanted, how much we wanted to pay for it, and he had it waiting on us when we arrived. I’ve never bought a new vehicle with as little stress as JR made it. We walked out and couldn’t believe we had actually bought a new vehicle! Finance was a breeze and we ended up with a better deal than we originally wanted. JR made sure we got the top dollar for our trade and made sure to beat out the offer my credit union gave me. He even comes by to say hello if we have scheduled service! Really makes you feel special that he remembers you.We have been so pleased with the experience that we referred my parents, who have purchased two vehicles, and my sister, who also purchased a vehicle from JR. We were all treated the same and feel like we got the best deal we would have gotten anywhere! We’ll never buy another vehicle from anyone else.

I bought my vehicle two years ago from Liberty Chevrolet in Villa Rica and I went through JR Duncan he was amazing through the whole process. And once I bought the vehicle his amazing service didnt stop there. Every time I go to get my vehicle serviced he always speaks to me and makes sure I am being taken care of. I had a oil leak recently and he went back and made sure it was taken care of. All the staff is friendly and courteous but JR goes above and beyond. My whole family has even bought vehicles from him. JR was fantastic!!I needed a 2500 HD truck and Liberty had one on the lot. I contacted JR at liberty and he knew all about the truck. it was easy to schedule a time to come and check it out and we came to an agreement right away. no nonsense. I had the truck purchased that day. JR had all of my paperwork done by the time i got there to pick it up and I really spent less than an hour at the dealer.Best new vehicle purchase ive every had.more importantly, I had some questions about the vehicle after the purchase and JR always answered my texts and calls. He even recommended a shop when i wanted some modifications done. Ill never buy a truck from anyone else.

Great experience! I dropped off my daughters car on Thursday because it was having issues when accelerating and we werent sure what was wrong. Liberty gave me a loaner so they could drive it. I got a call later in the day that they had replaced the spark plugs and it was running great. They provided quick, friendly service, as always and we were lucky this time it was a minor and inexpensive repair. John, Hal, and team always take good care of us. Thank you!

I had been having difficulty finding a specific used truck in my area for a few weeks. So I started looking out of town. I had some interest in various vehicles at other dealers but it never worked out. Then in my search one day I came across the exact truck I wanted in my price range. I contacted Jason at Liberty to get more info and pictures on the truck. This was on a Wednesday and he was off but still replied and said he would get back to me the next morning with the info. Sure enough he called me early Thursday asking what I would like and he gladly helped me out. This was important as I was 400mi away in KY. He and his finance person quickly answered all of my questions and I then told him I would be coming down to buy it. I drove down that same day and stayed the night. Test drove and bought the vehicle the next morning and drove it home. All of this for a Toyota used truck. Jason and the people at Liberty we the most professional, courteous and helpful I have ever dealt with in buying a vehicle. It was worth the 800 mile round trip. I would not hesitate to send him any business or go back again to buy a vehicle even being so far away. Thank you to Jason and Liberty Chevrolet for the perfect car buying experience!

***Update***Unfortunately Chevrolet put a transmission is this model truck 2017, that has an inherent flaw. And to make matters worse, there is NO fix! I fixed it myself but trading it! My new ride shifts like it’s supposed to. Everything else is working as it should so far too! Hint: it’s NOT a Chevy!Larry was great to work with and I appreciate the no pressure, relaxing purchase process. The paperwork was processed quickly and explained well. All in all I give them a thumbs up! I hope to have the same pleasant experience with their service department in the future.

They gave us a great deal, but we bought a Jeep Renegade about a month ago and we still have not received our tag from them. They do the tag registration for you. I called and talk to the representative and he was supposed to call me back when he knew something because the lady who does the tags was not there. He never called me back and when I called a few days later after no response I get a girl who promptly told us that she doesnt know. Didnt say I am sorry I dont know but I can forward you to the manager or any business like conduct, just I dont know. Then after we were silent because we were floored she finally mentions a manager. We get the manager and she says the tag lady is on vacation as well as the representative that was supposed to call me back. When we tell her we only have two days left, Friday, on our temporary tag she tells us that shell have the tag lady call us Monday morning. We told her that is to late and if we could get another temporary tag and she say we still have to wait till Monday. We told her again that it would be to late and that we need to get to work but she still insisted we wait till Monday. The phone dropped before we gave her our name and number but we will call back Monday morning. If we get a ticket for an expired tag they better pay it.

I called this dealership because it was closest to me. I have a 2019 vehicle that has a damaged tired. I am running on spare and wanted to replace tire via OEM.I spoke with service department and was told they had no appointments this week and did not have tire. I understood and asked if they could order it and schedule replacement with soonest available time.I was told its best to just go to a local tire shop to get it replaced that would be better. I explained i preferred to go with OEM but he still did not seem interested in helping me.

I took my 2013 here for PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ( wheel alignment, oil change, tire rotation/balance, fix braking vibration, costing $1096) on my 2012 GMC Terrain, and when I got it back, the steering wheel began to vibrate at 65mph, something it never did before. I originally dismissed to the condition of the road, seeing as how I was on interstate 20, but when I drove it on another road, the vibration was still there. I returned the vehicle to the dealership, and told the about then about the vibration the is now present when I drive that was not there before. After a few questions and a few hours later, I was informed that my torque converter needed replacing (the receipt says it was rebuilt.) after close to a week of waiting, I finally get my truck back after the repairs are finish (cost: $2415), I hit the interstate home, and guess what I find to still be vibrating, MY STEERING WHEEL!!! I called back and let them know, and asked for the price of new tires, but before the conversation was over, I decided I’d take my car elsewhere to another dealership that has taken very good care of another car I own that I bought from them without issue. I’ve spent over $3500 in less than a month with this dealership, over $2400 of that on an issue that still isn’t fixed. Needless to say, I won’t be taking my Terrain back to this place for repairs under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES again.

Took my brand new truck in for the first oil change and while waiting they come in and say my truck need a new filter and an alignment. I said ok on filter but knew they were trying to scam me on alignment then when I said so they are like he didn’t mean to write that down. While I was there they tried telling all the customers there for oil changes that they needed costly work done that didn’t need to be done. Felt very uncomfortable and will not go back

My husband and I were driving home to SC after traveling for a funeral in Kansas. Just west of Villa Rica, Ga our 2017 Corvette Michelin run flat tire lost air. Liberty Chevrolet was the 3rd place we drove to hoping to get it fixed. The service desk attendant asked if he could help us. We told him the situation. He immediately told us they were not Michelin dealers, they were really slammed and if we had a seat he would look up Michelin dealers phone numbers for us. I have a phone for looking up things but we needed things fixed. We left feeling dismissed. I then called Don-Rich Ford, told them what was going on and they said to come on over and they could help us. They plugged the tire in a timely manner, were very courteous and DID NOT charge us for work done. As loyal Chevy owners we do not expect special service just service needed. I do not wish anyone to be dismissed for their job but hope this is used as a learning experience.

Liberty Chevrolet is a small dealership with limited inventory. Prices not competitive with larger dealerships. If looking for a particular vehicle, they would have to order from a larger dealership. Therefore, it’s best to shop at a larger dealership!!!

The car buying experience was not awesome. We bought the car from a sales guy who barely talked to us and didnt really let us know what our payment options were before he put us back with the lady to sign the paperwork. Only until we were ready to leave did they even try to work with us on payment. I was disappointed in that, but I let it go because the dealer owner was extremely nice to us. However, the aftermath has been absolutely terrible. When I traded in my car, the salesperson didnt remove the tag from it so I could have it back. I didnt really think much of it because they were taking care of registration and all that so I assumed Id get a new tag in the mail. About a month goes by and I get a notice in the mail from the tag office that they registered my new car with my old tag number. This was a problem seeing as how I never got my old tag. So I called the dealership and was told I had to speak to the tag lady but she was gone for the day. They never offered voicemail. We called again and spoke to our salesperson. He said that they would look for it and call us back. We have tried for a MONTH to get someone to contact us back with NO response. Finally, I had to go to the tag office and BUY a new tag even though this was the dealerships mistake. I am utterly disappointed with this experience. I will never buy a car from Liberty Chevrolet again.EDIT: A couple days after leaving this review, I was contacted by Liberty. They corrected the issue by sending me the fees I paid to the tag office and a Starbucks gift card (my favorite), so I am happy to know that they take their business seriously and I am appreciative of that.

My experience with Liberty Chevrolet was excellent until I needed assistance after the sale. I have been in the process of cancelling some type of tire care insurance for 6+ MONTHS!! I filled out the appropriate paper work and was told by Julie on 7/30/18 that if I did not see the credit within 6 weeks to let her know. So, on 9/27/18 I replied to make her aware that no refund credit had been issued and kindly asked for a follow up on the matter. NO RESPONSE! On 10/11/18 I followed up on the first email since there was still no sign of the credit, and again NO RESPONSE! Since then I have left phone messages on 2 separate occasions that were not answered. On 12/15/2018 I was in the area and dropped by the dealership and had the opportunity to speak with Julie. I felt sure I would hear back the following week since that was what I was told in person face to face and this should not have been a difficult process. Boy was I wrong! I got nothing! Another attempt by phone got no response and another email last week gave me the same results, NO RESPONSE!! I can’t say that I have ever had an experience even close to this. It’s only $1,200 but I start to wonder how much interest $1,200 draws over a 6 month period that would have already been removed from this vehicle purchase. If there is anyone out there that can pick up a phone and help me with this I would be forever grateful. Please!

All the features and upgrades and third row seating without compromising trunk space the best! I purchased a vehicle on12/1/2018. Today is 12/27/2018 and so far they have not paid my trade in yet. I have sent several emails to the finance manager and so far I have had no luck. They were very nice when I was in the process of buying the vehicle but once you purchased the vehicle is a complete different story. They finally paid off the trade in on 12/28/2018 after getting Chevrolet Customer Services involved.

The staff are all friendly and service was good both times Ive been there to buy. But they have incredibly poor/limited financing options. Both times Ive been (4 years apart) somehow I dont make enough for them to finance me the vehicles I was interested in after being there for hrs, but go to any other dealership and I have no issues being financed for vehicles as expensive or even more expensive.. This is the closest lot to my house but I will never go there again..

These people are crooks. My brother recently replaced an auxiliary battery and just needed the light to be replaced. They told him it would only cost $150. Then the guy tried to unhook the battery, and stripped out the bolt, and blamed it on my brother. They did not call my brother to tell him how much it would be. When my brother got there, they charged him $600 and refused to give my brother his car back for the agreed upon $150. We are so angry and these people are absolute crooks.

I just felt like I needed to share my experience with this dealership, first off my wife and I went to several other big Chevy dealers and we where just treated like a number on a board. Our sales man Cody and the manager Greg where very prompt and professional. It was just a diff atmosphere at Liberty. I felt like they truly cared about not only my financial limit but my entire family as a whole by literally doing anything and everything they could to get us in the brand new suv we needed and wanted. (even with not so great credit) Instead of trying to sell us a cheaper car that would work financially and that we ultimately wouldn’t be happy with in the long run, they stuck with it and never stoped. Even days after the initial visit when we where unable to buy the suv Greg still called and worked on!!! What a great group of people truly down home small town dealership, if only there where more dealers like this maybe the car sales industry wouldn’t have such a bad rep......

I came in with my engine light on and a warning saying my engine was running hot. They called with results within a few hours and told me they had the parts in stock that needed to be replaced and finished it the same day. Everyone that I spoke to was kind and I’ll be going back if there’s any other problems with my car!
