Very friendly fast staff great prices

The only complaint I have is having to bag my own groceries. I can understand when there short of help. And theres some hard working cashiers I know here. I just have a bad back and legs. But I dont mind if there really busy. But if there not?

That keeps that store very clean there is nothing out of order. Everything looks good and the workers are very nice.the manager is very responsible.for there workers.i goes to the one on Industrial Blvd.

Im a Publix woman, yet my neighbor and I go to Food Depot sometimes. They have an awesome staff, and EVERYTIME I get a question asked that used to shock me. NOW I EXPECT it... The question is, Did you find everything that youre looking for today? I LOVE THAT!!!!It shows me that they DO CARE! Thank you Food Depot for great customer service.

I bought 3lbs of fresh Peaches on Monday July 5th & 2 days later was preparing them for a cobbler. Every one was bad, no taste & looked like they had been frozen, even tho they looked good on the outside. Total waste of money.. Very disappointed

My go to grocery store. They Always have good deals and sales on meats. The cashiers are always friendly, nice & helpful. And the store is always clean and stocked.

I hate to say this, bc this use to be one of my go to stores. The customer service at the registers have gotten horrible. I always greet them with a smile, and ask how they are. The past several visits I barely get a reply much less a smile and thank you for asking. Also, the past two visits when near the meat dept I smell cigarette smoke. The first time I figured a rude customer may have lit one up, but the same area as last time? Guys youve lost my business if you care.

The only drawback is that added 10% at the cash register.. plus I like the while chicken chopped up,they seem to stop selling that.

They always have what you need compared to Walmart. Walmart never has that many spices if you cook you own food a lot are like things like oxtails rabbit frog legs whole fish you get what Im saying.

There are a lot of young adults working with no customer service experience. They know how to do their job but dont know how to interact with customers. If you can visit without having to ask a question or dont mind being greeted, you can shop here. A lot of items are out of stock with no date of being available.

Pretty good products at decent prices. Be aware that there is an added percentage when you check out, but even with that its still cheaper than most places.

Wife and I just ran in there for a couple of things. Was very surprised to see so many name brand items at below or competitive prices. This store was very clean and organized. Would recommend shopping here anytime.

=COVID-19 REVIEW=Some employees wear masks, and wear them properly; most, however, either dont even make an attempt to even pretend to wear them on their face/NOSE or dont even wear one at all, which is just as good as not wearing it on their entire face.Drink bleach and jump off of cliffs yourself if you want, but youre putting my health and those I care for, and everyone else at risk by not following proper protocols.

Great place, very nice people check the dates. Many times i have gone home with products weeks out of date. Always just threw them away. Maybee they give credit. I should have checked the dates before i paid.

Prices were okay. They have major brands and their store brand as well.

Store was busy but not to much wait time everyone I seen had face mask on so that made me feel safe

Not Happy, Due to Covid-19 Carts were not being properly wiped down.

Prices good on most items. Some employees are pleasant enough, some ignore you but the biggest loss in stars is because most of the produce is rotting on the shelf and expired products on the shelf. Having someone to at least check the produce and get rid of the rotting stuff would go a long way.

Always stocked and open pretty late.

This location is good, nothing to write home to mom about but, its affordable, good selection, staff was friendly, didnt see the bathroom on this visit and other things location wise as well food wise reside around it. Things that could be worked on would be bringing down the prices of the gluten free products as you are $2 at least higher than Kroger as well Publix which is price gouging to people like myself who watch for things like this. As well, you are charging way way way too much for bathroom, laundry and needs as such...almost like this store makes food affordable but gets it back by screwing over the gluten free food allergy customers or those who want a one stop shop...Im one who will go to multiple stores to get things based on who has the fair price...if you are a one stop shopper I encourage you check this place out but stay clear of the above mentioned if youre really trying to save money.

The Villa Rica Food Depot is a great place to shop and save a little. Although it is sometimes under stocked. Overall a great alternative to the giant under staffed retail joints.

Good never rings the price shown management is horrible

Its so fun to shop here. Place is huge. Expect to be in here for a few hours if you are doing a lot of grocery shopping.

Always a great place to get fresh produce and fresh meat. The store is always clean.

The cashier s are friendly and nice. Floor crew could careless that you are there. I have an issue with feminine products pricing. If you are in need of feminine products Do not stop here. A. They do not have a very big selection. B. The price on a box of product was $8.34. I was in a rush to get home. And my thought was I will not write. Thought this was a discount store until this. Also baby diapers are not discount. Which makes you want to drive out if your way for certain things. Grocery prices are good for some produce. And I like they have a large selection of things you dont find at Publix and Kroger.

Villa Rica food Depot is a whole lot better than Carrollton although they do smoke cigarettes quite thoroughly and take way too many breaks theres not often too many cashiers are open

Great prices clean store great selection okay staff. We love food depot to catch their meat sales especially but unfortunately most of the cashiers weve come across have very little to no personality or patience and when you notify them something rang incorrectly they huff. I love the prices so well be back but would be great if they had an employee meeting and got their act together.

At times, they have good meat sales. Otherwise, its just mediocre. Beware the 10% markup at the register! If you do your math, most of their prices work out about the same as the other grocery stores.

Shop here for the prices, not the atmosphere or the customer service. Basic, no frills grocery store. As long as you have the correct expectations on the experience, it is a fine place to shop.

As soon as I walked in the door there was an unpleasant odor. That seemed to be throughout the store. They didnt have what I needed so thankfully I didnt have to stay long.

The store itself is great. The cashiers are young and many need to understand what is Customer appropriate. Although customers might engage in inappropriate discussions some training needs to be provided on how to disengage.The other day a man was speaking about Hispanics in a very disdainful manner. He was finished checking out I am standing waiting to be checked out and was disregarded while the conversation continuedI could say that me being African American was the reason. Instead I will say lack of training and poor customer service skills was the culprit. This was only my second time being in the store. It made me feel like NEVER GOING BACK!

However I doubt I shall ever step foot in there again.Today I had the pleasure of being semi accused of being a thief.I routinely purchase a propane exchange (number 600 in your system) and did so today.No one came out to exchange the tanks and after waiting for several minutes requested the attention of a floor / shift manager to do the exchange from the door. (I had my empty cylinder in a cart) after several more minutes, two associates came out to empty the drink machines of monies. Waiting several more minutes, I asked these associates to assist. The female went into the store to gain said assistance but soon reemerged to ask if I had paid for the exchange?!?!Really?!?!? The floor / shift manager was standing at the registrar I checked out on.AND as I stated above, I routinely purchase a propane exchangeSaid floor / shift manager stays in the store with his hands in his pockets through-out the entire process.Shouldnt his job include taking two steps outside the door to check on a request for assistance?I insisted the other drink machine associate inspect my receipt to insure I had indeed paid for my purchase.(turned out he was the store manager)Are your floor / shift managers so poorly trained in customer service that it is beneath them to do anything other than to stand around, hands in pockets frowning at each person that brings business to your doors?Perhaps a refresher course in acknowledgement of an issue or asking questions prior to saying didja pay for it would be in order.I would not have felt so insulted if he had bothered to come out with a key to assist with the exchange and asked for a receipt to confirm rather than blatantly ignoring my request and sending the drink machine associate back out (without the key, I might add) to ask if I had made a purchase.Former Customer KRP

Store is very clean and much bigger than the one on Hiram Sudie Road off Hwy 61 near me.

Love going here for my meats cause the deals are good. Prices are not to high and you get a 10% discount at the register

Thank you Food Depot for opening in Villa Rica we were going all the way out to Dville. The interior of the store was redone completely. Its clean, well organized and the staff are pleasant and friendly. This will be my new go to Food Depot.
