Dropped my car off after calling ahead a few days out for tires an alignment. Expected the runaround or for things to be difficult as they can sometimes be with servicing a vehicle. No hang ups here. Just honest work. Well done!

What a letdown. Our car over heated in front of there store. Well that cost us 2300.00 . It gets better we return the car to have the jod completely gone over had leaks. Bolts missing and check engine light on. Well that turned into a bad set of cooling fansIt never was the water pump that is inside the motor. Somebody owns us 1100.00 and Corp will not return a phone call.

A really helpful HONEST crew here that got everything done timely and charged the EXACT SAME AS ESTIMATE!! 4 brand new tires for $449.00 I literally have only had that happen once! I can remember where I was it was HERE at this Pep Boys! It is not even in my hometown or state for that matter but honesty for me in this field is such a rare & elusive thing I will be getting more work done here for sure!

Great work. Honest work. Time and time again, Pep Boys comes through. I took my car there again for a nail in my tire. They removed the nail, patched the hole and saved me from having to get a new tire. Always a hard working team there that gets me in and out on time. The best around.

Horrible went in for an alignment had a appointment time i was on time and it took the an hour and half just to take my car in the shop then supposedly was done in 40 mins and on my way home and my car pulls to the right really bad and it was pulling to the left before i took it there lol so i guess they fixed it pulling to the left now it pulls to the right! Thanks pep boys no wonder your going out of business because of the service!! Never again

Great prices, honest mechanics wont overcharge or take advantage of those not knowledgeable about their vehicles. My fiancee and I had our car fixed, they were completely done within a few hours and didnt try the all too common convincing customer to buy unnecessary repairs like other competitors often will do, and gave us some much needed piece of mind. Would highly recommend!

Had to get an oil change and tire rotation. I checked out the regular cast of characters, the Sears, the Meinekes, NTB, Mr. Tire, and the like. None of them were able to meet my needs either for price or appointments. I started asking myself where else can I get an oil change and tire rotation? Oh my God, then it hit me. Manny Moe and Jack, AKA the PepBoys. A couple of dollars higher than NTB, cheaper than Sears, and I wasnt comfortable with Mr. Tire and the guy at Meineke was a jerk. This store is a little older, not bright and shiny but you get the same deals. I went online about 9 on Saturday morning made an appointment for 12:30 in the afternoon, dropped the vehicle off at 11, and they called me at 1 saying it was done.

Had to replace my car battery. They offer at home car pickup and towing.

Actually i went to auto zone first and their prices were outrageous.So i walked across the street in Vineland and found exactly what i was looking for.I bought a car cover for summer which they have on sale for 5 dollars and i bought de-icer for 5 dollars and that was on sale as well.i will go to pep boys first from now on.

Went yesterday to get a price and the guy attending the tire counter seemed disturbed we were there asking for prices of the tires. Maybe he was having a bad day. Went back today and a much nicer guy was at the counter. I actually asked one of the employees about yesterdays guy if he had a bad day and I think yesterdays guy was the manager:-/. Ouch. 4 tires are being installed today only because it was the best price in town for a good quality tire, not because of the customer service from yesterday. I would have happily taken my elderly fathers business elsewhere had it not been for the good price.I will update this review once the service is completed.

Had been bringing my Mazda 3 to pep boys for a considerable amount of time until recently. One day after getting an oil change I noticed my oil had been significantly overfilled by at least 1.5-2 quarts and was way over the full mark on the dipstick. Also tend to oversell. Was told I needed a sway bar replacement for $900 and bushings I didn’t need for $200 total bs.

Nice place and good service an price

The shorthand of it being that the mechanics fail to pay attention to the detail of their work. They returned my best friends wifes car with a rear spring that they installed wrongly. They did however amend their poor work thanks to the $90 limited extended labor warranty, they talked him into purchasing, that covers their poor workmanship. They also performed an excellent complimentary vehicle inspection where they failed to note her running light was out and her fluids were low. The service manager seemed pleased however stating that being the purpose of the warranty was in fact for such instances. Customers rest assured knowing youre not the only one doubting their employees work, Pep Boys knows theyre not training their mechanics and they too suggest you warranty against it

What a horrible place! Make an appointment and chris the “service manager” will accept it than tell you they don’t have time! It’s like these guys don’t want to make money! I would give them zero if I could! The whole service staff should be removed! WILL NEVER RETURN AND NOBODY SHOULD GET WORK DONE HERE

THIS LOCATION NEEDS MORE TRAINING.The staffs’ customer service and interpersonal skills are garbage. The teams ability to problem solve are equally disappointing. Someone from corporate needs to come down as a customer to witness the poor representation of the overall corporation and train accordingly (especially the supervisors).Im a Hvac technician, so I understand the overall customer service, and interpersonal skills when it comes to the mechanical field and dealing with customers. They sell hard - my mechanic sent me there to have one thing checked. They took forever. Theyre all very nice, but they need more help at the service counter and the store needs some updated lighting to brighten it up

I went yesterday because my car was giving me issues and although the time frame that they gave me was only and hour it ended up taking much longer Im still satisfied because they took their time and found the correct issue with my car. They did not just try and give me a quick answer like some other shops I had visited this weekend. Marc was very helpful and even discounted the fee due to the long wait. Definitely great customer service!

They do good work but waiting takes FOREVER! Even with appointment. I had a 12.30 appointment and didnt leave until 4. And the lot wasnt even that busy .

I got a appointment at 12 it’s about to b 4 and i’m only getting a check up.

I doubt their rotating tires as asked. If I clean tires and they have no marks on them aside from marks I put on valve stems and have the same amount of air in each tire as when I brought it in still in same location. For instance driver side being 2 psi lower then all other ones. Along with not giving them the wheel lock which was stashed away in car and untouched im assuming the job wasn’t done. It depends on the manager on also. Sometimes their good sometimes their not aside from just neglecting to do a job. One decided to wait nearly an hour to tell me my car was done at one point. Guess I’ll have to put big lettering on the tires for them to see next time.

Had my oil changed and received a $10 discount. Had been told by another repair service after my last oil change that I should buy a battery in the fall. Pep Boys tested my battery and didnt feel it needed changing. They presented me with the printout from the test to show me the results. I appreciated their honesty.

Unlike a certain competitor of theirs, Pep Boys provided excellent service for both the price and timing. The pricing was very good and the staff was very helpful. The waiting area could have been a little more comfortable, but thats not what I was there for.

Had trouble finding somewhere to get the oil changed in my 66 Rambler (NTB refused to do it), but luckily they were able to and even had the zinc additive I needed to put in with the oil. Thanks guys!

Absolutely terrible service. Got my oil “changed” here on 11/21/18. ALL of the oil is in a puddle under the car. Completely drained. The plug is totally off. Willing to bet the filter wasn’t even changed. Ruined my ThanksGiving. If these guys can’t handle an oil change, don’t trust anything else either. Never coming back and putting this experience in the paper!

Its ok. Didnt have the part in the less expensive brand I wanted and had to get a much more expensive brand that was platinum. Either that, travel around, or wait if ordered. Kind of in a hurry. Service was okay, helpful. It was as clean and organized as youd expect an auto parts store to be.

If staff insulting customers is what youre looking for, youve hit the jackpot! Irresponsible management and staff. If you need help, youre better off anyplace but here.

I got my oil changed today and the service was horrible. When I first go in and ask for the oil change everything is fine, however the guy did not tell me how long the wait was going to be but i brushed it because it is not that big of a deal, after waiting almost 3 hours i finally ask how much longer and get completely ignored by who I think was Bill and started a conversation with two other guys then asked about my car. Once my car was finished the guy who was the service manager named Vincent Miller looked uninterested and was rude handing me my paperwork and instead of handing me my keys like a human he decided to toss them on the counter to me. Ill be taking my service somewhere else for now on since no one there knows common manners.

So makes u wonder if its sincere (??) because they figure they been around this long, so who cares but many other places have fallen because of this same approach.I actually hope it gets addressed because would not want others to experience what I did there. I suggest u go somewhere else to buy your items especially when they have a big muscle manager there that stares at u with dirty looks so youre not sure if he wants u to buy something or leave.???

I recently had another great experience at Vineland Pep Boys! I needed new tires badly. I was not really sure which brand to purchase and was on a budget. Mario helped me choose a better quality tire than what I was looking at and at great price! With out his advice I possibly would have purchased a lesser quality tire and would not have gotten my moneys worth. He certainly made sure I got more bang for my buck! I appreciate his honesty and patience every time I go there.

Absolutely terrible i set an appointment for a oil change at 12pm and it doesnt get done till 3pm. 3 Hours!!! For a simple oil change that should take at max 1 hr and my car was in the bay around 1pm so either they ignored my car in the bay for about an hour or suck at there job. Will never come back.

They never have more than one mechanic on so any service you need (even if you make an appointment!) takes WAY too long. I’ve been here for two hours and they haven’t even started my oil change. RIDICULOUS. The staff is unprofessional, cursing and talking inappropriately while guests are well within ear shot. The store is disgusting too always a mess and so disorganized. They are lucky my warranty covers my service through them and that the next closest one is all the way in Glassboro.

I went for an oil change they said it would be and hour took over 2 and a half hours. Customer service very poor. I called to get an estimate they guy told me not until Thursday and had to pay 89.00 to diagnose my vehicle. One it’s hard out here as it is and pep boys charging 89 bucks, to tell you what’s the problem that doesn’t even include the service. Wow I am very disappointed in this place. Also you can never get help after 4:30 and that’s the time I get off work smh. No technician on the weekends. What about the people who work Mon-Fri. Pep Boys make some changes for the paying customer! Also called AAMCO right after pep boys and they were able to get me in the next day with free diagnostic and repairs the following day.

Pep Boys in Vineland is my preferred shop to go to and they’re the only ones i trust w my parts and car.

Im sorry i published a review for a pep boys in glassboro, nj that caused a quick fix turn into a 3000 fix. I apologize. My experience here was actually great was for a tire replacement they were closing in 5mins but still did it anyway friendly and quick was sure to leave a tip. Dont go to the one in GLASSBORO,NJ THOUGH!!!

I had a very good experience at PepBoys in Vineland, I normally do not write reviews, but the staff has been very professional, honest and knowledgeable, qualities which are vital when dealing with the public. I took my car there for oil changes after having a couple of bad experiences at Monroe I was a customer there for five yrs. I work in an industry that deals with clients from around the world, so I am very aware of what it takes to handle good and not so good customers. The manager Mario was very personable, introduced himself, explained which oil would be best for my new Infinity, and explained why. I felt very comfortable there, my car was done in the amount of time I was told. I didnt have a long wait or any hassles. I would recommend this Pep Boys for sure. Thank You

Place is a rip off. I called about tires and was told they were 50 a tire and buy 3 get 1 free. When I took my vehicle there and had everything done the bill was completely different from what I was told before I came in. Bad customer service and very shady. Placed an order online to have 2 tires installed with wheel alignment. Get there @ my scheduled time & after 5-7 minutes was told only 1 tire came in & the other was in transit. Not good at all. Ordered a week ago.

SCAM ALERT! Girlfriend took her car here with our 5 year old for an oil change and they tried to scare her into getting new breaks and roters. Offered a free break check and told her car was unsafe to drive. She declined to have them do the work. Took car to mechanic Ive used for over 15 years who reported break pads were over 50% and roters were fine. Now I am wondering if they actually changed the oil. This place is straight unscrupulous!

Today I had to wait for a while before getting my car serviced. The older gentleman in the back of the store had to go to the garage to tell the men to come out to help. They left the store completely unattended as lines were building in all 3 areas of the store. That man should not have to walk through the store for the staff while he is trying to assist his own department. When I finally got to speak with someone, he did not greet me, ask for any of my information, explain to me how the process works or give a farewell. He just moved on to the next woman. I then get 3 phone calls afterwards asking for information about my car they will be servicing. He then puts oil in my car before reviewing the sticker in the window - saying on the phone, I hope I didnt put the wrong oil in your car. What kind of oil did you have in there? I told him high mileage. I pick up my car just now to have the sticker barely filled out with conventional oil checked off, not high mileage. I will not be going back to this Pep Boys. I am a loyal customer and gave them too many chances. I will be finding another location. This was very disappointing. I really tried to stick with this location, but they really dropped the ball. I drive a lot, been getting my car serviced by Pep Boys since I bought it. I got all my tires from Pepboys, including this location. Im due for new breaks and routine maintenance. My husband needs an oil change and all new tires right now. I wont be getting it done here after todays service.

I like the selections but theres a lot of competition in the Vineland area and other surrounding areas but twice Ive gone there and both times I had a Hispanic (muscle-head) employee approach me and my 13 year old son while we wear outside in the parking lot eating ice cream while we waited for my vehicle to finish getting serviced,instead of waiting inside & second time we decided to look at the items in the store because thats why theyre on display and he also approached us with aggressive,so we left and went across the street to Autozone and spent over $200 on items that I knew that Pepboys probably sold for less but Im never going back & I dont know why I went back after the first incident.!That employee is probably a hard worker because hes got big muscles from it but he wants to intimidate customers, instead of accommodate.Im a 37yr old,self employed that owns 2 establishments and in the works of,hopefully opening up a third store by beginning of next year and my wife and I got there by treating our customers with dignity and Pepboys needs to train there employees to help there customers and put on a friendly face,no matter how the customer looks like because both times I was there,I was in my at home clothing but I will explore my options because I dont want to get beat up in front of my 13yr old son because we are looking and deciding on an item to buy.

They are under staffed, 1 mech, but they had 3 parts guys, 1 mech, 1 supervisior, ridiculous, went there twice, they had to cancel my oil change waited about 1 hour or more, gave me free oil change for the cancellation, then tried to cancel it again I told him I have a 9am appointment, no it has to get done, its not the employees fault its the upper managements, your losing buisness, I saw it while waiting, they had to turn down jobs because the manpower wasnt there. Its not fare, to the customer to be canceled when car needs fixing, and they have an appointment, I had to bad experiences at this vinland nj, pep boys

This place is incompetent! Ive been here 5 or 6 times in 2 1/2 weeks for the same exact problem. Ive not only wasted over 12 hours of my life just sitting in the store while the workers stand around and huff and puff, because obviously they hate their jobs, while waiting for them to figure out whats wrong with my car, Ive also paid $160 for a part I didnt need. I personally have never had problems with this pep boys. The only thing I don’t like is the visual aspect of the store which looks old and need a remodeling and new floor because the store looks pretty dirty and old.

I go there for an oil change and they get me tok show me my brake lines gushing fluid. They were fine when I got there.
