Visited The Sweet Spot in the Providence Area of VA Beach. Very nice environment, nicely decorated inside and out and friendly staff. Parking was a little challenging due to the booming business. We where definitely satisfied with your choice of desserts. This was my first time eating the Bubble Waffle and it was delicious and the brownie was to die for. The owner kindly gave us a complimentary brownie to go. This is a definite go to spot when in VA Beach area.

This place is so cute!! Totally Instagramable and the food is dreamy. The shakes are huge, you will not go hungry & they’re totally worth the cost. The staff is so friendly & lovely, and service is quick. Loved the one on the ocean front but their new shop is just divine! Definitely go here!

This place is hands down the cutest place to have a sweet treat! The staff was very friendly & made our order quickly! There was plenty of seating & the decor was adorable! We ordered the Over the Top & Fruity Explosion milkshakes. They were both delicious, per my kiddos. Would recommend this place 11/10!

This was the first time I went to the Sweet Spot on Providence Road, and I will like to say that it was so beautiful and the staff was terrific!!! I end up getting the cheesecake explosion and it was so delicious and gorgeous to look at. The interior was amazing and very bright and colorful. I totally will be back there soon

The store is very stylish and cool. The ordering process was fast and efficient. The worker comes to you with your finished ice cream. The ice cream itself is high quality and very good. You get a large serving too and it is esthetically pleasing. Great place.

I took my daughter her for a mother daughter ice cream date and it was so cute! Everything is so PINK and clean! They have sanitizer on every table, and they were actively cleaning tables as people left. The ice cream explosion we got was amazing! I thought it was cute we were able to take our mason jar home with us! The new location is super close to our house so we will def be returning frequently!! Also the outside seating is adorable!!

The most delicious funnel cake and ice cream I’ve ever eaten. My husband and I couldn’t put our desserts down. The doughnut milkshake was also mind blowing delicious too. Amazing, truly amazing!

Our family really enjoyed this little ice cream shop. Its located on the Virgina Beach Boardwalk. The flavors of the shakes were out of this world. We ordered the The cotton candy explosion, the oreo monster and the you fancy shake. The cotton candy explosion had a good amount of cotton candy flavor. It was easy to drink. The you fancy shake came with a miniature jar of Nutella on it. The oreo monster came with churros and oreos on top. It also had bits of oreo inside. They all were really tasty. The shakes came on glass jars that you get to keep. Due to covid they arent allowed to rinse them out. The only complaint that I would have would be the inside only featured one small booth. Other than that we had a good time and we will be back. Great place for a sweet treat.❤

Lets just say the price is worth the lick. Its a late Saturday night at ocean front in Virginia Beach and everyone knows its always slamming with people. Even with the crowd the service was quick. Now the ice cream...oh my lord, how does anyone even create something so good? I recommend this place 100 percent. The way they put the ice cream together is something out of a magazine. Not a bad spot. Didn’t get “The full experience” due to Covid and it was crowded... The shop have great photo props if you can get a few quick shots in!!They offer military discount and a variety and sweet options!!! Nice having so many different ice cream place options at the ocean front. Can never get boring and it is always nice to have options. The sweet spot definately has options. Their variety of ice cream is insaine. My favorite was strawberry cheesecke!

Great service and a tasty variety of ice cream. We spent 3 days here and got ice cream from here each night! My favorite was the coffee cookies and cream. My cousin got their advertised freak shake in cookies and cream and said how good it was. Oh and they are super nice inside.

This dessert bar and the crew that works there are SO amazing! I was visiting from SC and had heard great things about The Sweet Spot, so I decided to check it out on my last night in town. Although I got there 15 minutes until their closing time, Mazen and his entire crew greeted me with smiles, kindness and so much patience. It truly was an AMAZING experience all around & to top it all off, the lovely young lady made me the BEST vegan shake I’ve ever had! I definitely will be returning!

So I’ve been here a few times and this place never fails. I’m so excited they are opening up a spot closer to me because although I don’t mind the drive (because it’s that good) I will be here more often when I get my occasional sweet tooth! The first item is a funnel cake with Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The second photo is a salted caramel milkshake and I devoured the entire thing.

Beautiful place with amazing hardworking staff. They were busy when we arrived but they really go above and beyond for every customer. Everything was fresh and delicious, you cant go wrong with any selection. Cant wait to visit again with my kids, they loved it! Thank you ❤

Delicious food and wonderful experience. The staff is amazing the decor is fun. Everything about this place was memorable and we can not wait to come back and visit again. We highly suggest you try their bubble waffles. The sweet choice was my absolute favorite. I had a blast building it up.

Wait time wasnt too bad. The sweets were so tasty. They have the menu on the side of the wall so you can decide while you wait. They have two bench style seating on the inside as well as a few seats outside. Id recommend trying a flavor with the churros in it. It goes so well with icecream.

Really great selection. Ice cream isnt just pretty to look at, but it tastes amazing as well. Super fresh ingredients. If you get a sauce such as caramel, Nutella, etc. they put it on the bottom. Only 2 booths inside to sit at and about 4 tables outside. It is a little pricey compared to your average ice cream place, but you will leave full. Really friendly owner and staff.

I visited the Sweet Spot on Providence Road at their busiest time. The line was out the door, but they moved the line along quickly and efficiently. This place is beautifully decorated, the dessert I ordered was a great value for the price, it tasted amazing, and the staff was very friendly. I will absolutely be back to try their other creations.

Great spot for dessert or to kick that sweet tooth. We got the Unicorn Shake and as you can see it definitely looks the part, it was overall great and Id recommend sharing. We also got churros and dip. And the churros were great.

So good!! Got a milkshake with all the toppings and a funnel cake. They let us change ingredients so we liked it even better. If you pay cash you save 3.99% credit card fee, so bring cash! And if you bring the mason jar back next time you get $2 off! So much better than The Yard, and cheaper!

We went here for my sons birthday. He was very excited. Staff was friendly. Place is clean. Great for photos. I had a funnel cake and it was amazing. My son had a milkshake and loved it. Definitely get what you pay for ! A must go if going to the ocean front. We will definitely be going back :)

It was definitely one for the book of memories from the ambiance to the customer service no but spectacular my daughter 10th bday is Mon so we celebrated all weekend long and this by far was on of her highlight they even put a candle and sung happy birthday. We definitely be back a hidden gem right under our noses and price wasnt bad and worth every penny!!!

It was so delicious! So many options it was hard to choose just one. We went on a Sunday night so the wait wasnt long at all..I loved it!

This place is magical, soon as you step through the doors, the pink aesthetic is just warming and lifts your mood ☺️ I had the strawberry creme frappe and I’m not a huge sweets guy but this was truly delicious and not overly sweetened. 13 out of 10 recommend this place!

I literally drive from Newport News to eat here. I dont care about waiting an hour in traffic to get there lol. Hands down the most beautiful ice cream spot in the Hampton Roads Area. All of their menu items taste fantastic and are also pleasing to the eye. Customer service is top notch, as well.

This one place was absolutely horrible. I got in there waited in line for 15 minutes, I ordered 5 items I got my 2 ice creams and I had to wait 45 for my bubble waffle cone! By the time I got it my ice cream was completely melted and I had it going down my arms! They said they dropped my first waffle cone and then he said the other one cracked. Even tho is a SOFT waffle!!!!! They definitely forgot my order because they then had to see my reciet to see what I had ordered when I walked in there asking where my food was. Your better off going to Dairy Queen and it would also be a lot cheaper.

I loved it here! The menu was amazing and everything looked so tasty, it was so hard to choose from. I ordered and minutes later I wanted something else and they allowed me to change my order and just pay the difference rather then make me buy something else entirely! The milkshake was prepared very fast and beautifully. The staff was so nice! I will recommend this place to my friends.

We were so excited to try the newest location. First, the parking lot is horrendous. That has to be a handicap violation as the single handicap spot is blocked in by other parking spots-literally trapped. All other spots are manageable but the majority are angled to where you can only leave if at least one spot next to or behind you is empty. Beautifully decorated inside, but customer service was subpar. That awkward moment where you approach the register to order and the employee stares at you. I wasn’t sure if I should wait for a greeting or just order-I settled on greeting them as if they were the customer. Wait time was fine. But no high chairs in sight so we settled on eating outside with a toddler. Ice cream was ok, presentation was great. We had three ice creams and one shake. Not sure if the orders were blundered but one ice cream was runnier than the shake. Overall, wouldn’t come back, especially after the fifteen minutes it took to get out of the parking lot.

I dont know if I got a bad batch but I got the unicorn shake and it wasnt good at all. The service and presentation were great. But the ice cream was bland and the toppings appeared sub par as if they were bought at a 99 cent store. I usually dont leave negative reviews but for the money I paid, I expected much better.

This place is truly a gem, and its popularity is evident amongst beachgoers- I arrived when they opened and there were people already waiting! I can honestly say Ive never been to a place like it, the menu items are over the top and perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. I will definitely be back.

While I was walking the boardwalk on my vacation to Virginia Beach, I noticed The Sweet Spot. The bright pink atmosphere caught my eye and I knew I had to try it! I ordered a freak shake (the churito) and it was the best dessert I have ever tasted in my life. I will definitely be back the next time I go on vacation!

Me & my husband came to celebrate our 1st anniversary & we brought our daughter along! She loves it! The desserts are so delicious & so colorful! I love the atmosphere, the only con is it’s kinda cozy. We will definitely be back for more!! 😊

Such a cute ice cream shop with very creative ice cream options. Their presentation is very impressive.Just a heads up, they are not quite in compliance with state covid precautions. Im not downgrading my rating, because we were quite happy with our ice cream and all employees were masked (so our food seemed fine), but it was pretty crowded and booths should have been marked off to ensure unrelated parties were not seated right next to each other.

We went to the sweet spot after our dolphin watch trip. The place was colorful and selections looked delicious on the sign until you saw the finished product being given to other customers. We couldnt decide what we wanted they all looked delicious. I got the strawberry and banana crepe which was enough for three people.

We had three orders and two of them were wrong. We ordered one Oreo funnel cake, one regular funnel cake, and one order of Churros w/white chocolate. We got home and found that we had two regular funnel cakes and the churros didn’t have white chocolate at all.

Delicious food and great customer service! The staff was so nice and our deserts came out quickly and delicious. One of the best dessert spots at the Oceanfront! Definitely recommend!

We are from out of town and I took my daughter here for her birthday. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and even helped me find alternatives when the ice cream I ordered wasn’t available. We will definitely be back again next time we are in town. Good customer service goes a long way and for that alone I will be back again!

Just went to show some love to the new Providence location in VB. Today is the grand opening and I thought they opened at 2pm. There were two workers out front when I arrived. As soon as we started walking to the door the two workers went inside. We followed them and I said are you open twice and they just shook their heads no. No hi how are you. No sorry we’re closed, please come back at this time. Won’t be wasting money here with those attitudes or customer service!

Place was really cute and desert looked really good. However the desert was very disappointing. My kids and I didn’t like the ice cream and we all ordered different things. Everything was overpriced and I should of just went to dairy Queen. This is very disappointing since my kids really want to go and try it out.

A cute little store that isnt hard to miss with all of its vibrant pink colors. They were quick with our orders and pleasant. We were lucky to grab a booth in the busy rush and enjoy a delicious explosive milkshake. I was pleasantly surprised that I was given a mason jar after I finished my dessert. We went on a rainy day so it wasnt busy. This was our first time visiting and we didnt know what we wanted. My children figured what they wanted from the menu and each of them ordered. We were the only ones in the store at the time. When I got to the cash register to pay the clerk was less than friendly. After I paid he said you can go outside and wait. I thought this may be how they usually operate when they are crowded so no offense taken. It just came off as rude and unfriendly especially for a place that only serves sweets. Good sweets...not so good service.

Totally instagram worthy! This place is worth every penny. The milkshakes we had were awesome and they have lots of fun flavors to chose from. Had we stayed longer or visited earlier in our trip we would have been more than the one time.The only critique I have is there isnt nearly enough seating.

Took my staff out for a dinner party and we were looking for a desert and ran smack into “The Sweet Spot” AMAZING!!! Not only does the decorations look amazing, staff was great and the deserts were delicious! If I could give a higher star I would. My staff and I will be back.

Yesterday was my first time going to The Sweet Spot in Va Beach with my kids and it was so much fun. The staff are extremely friendly and thanked us for coming to the shop. They let us know that after ordering you have to wait outside due to Covid restrictions, but it was nice out so we didn’t mind. There is beautiful floral decor on the building as well as fire pits and chairs on the outside of the shop. Y’all, when they called my name and brought out the explosive shakes for my kids it was so exciting. It is really a party in a cup! They ordered the strawberry shortcake and the unicorn explosive shakes and you can tell that they are made with love. I ordered the funnel cake and it’s actually pink (very surprising) and so tasty! It was a great experience and we will definitely be going again.

We stopped by on Memorial Day so of course it was crowded and we had to wait 40 minutes to get our items, but I must admit it was worth the wait. The presentation was amazing, the overall taste and freshness was shocking and the quantity was a little overwhelming. My ice cream had 2 churros and a slice of cheesecake! It was definitely worth the price and I can’t wait to go back!

I appreciate this place so much, and the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel the waffles are too dense. Now that the literal only negative is out of the way, Im floored by this place. Its immaculately clean. The service is wonderful. The guy they had at the counter today was happy to be there and genuinely cares about the business, which is so refreshing. I asked when it opened, he said 2016 or whatever, and I told him it was my first time, and he asked me how I heard about them. I love stuff like that. The pride was just... *Chefs kiss*They took pride in the appearance of everything and I will definitely be back to split something with my family for dessert in the near future :)

We went about a week ago. It was a little busy, but we were still in and out in no time. Plus it was so worth it. The place/aesthetics was cute and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The people seemed friendly. Our desserts were SO GOOD! They looked awesome and tasted even better. The only recommendation I have is maybe more seating for outside. I regret not getting better pictures, but more of a reason to go back!

Probably the craziest dessert place Ive ever been to. Me and my gf walked around the the block a few times on a 90° day waiting for this place to open.When It did we had to wait for a little more then normal for our food so the guy there gave us free drinks because of our wait. Stellar dessert and service.

My wife and I were walking down the ocean front and came across “The Sweet Spot”. A1 customer service! I gave them 5 stars because they are vegan and allergy friendly. I am allergic to gluten. Exquisite milkshakes for adult and kids. My family and I will def be returning next time we visit Virginia Beach.

This place was absolutely amazing. They have the most spectacular looking creations and pretty much every topping and flavor you can thing of. They give you a lot for what you pay for. It’s delicious and I will definitely be going again.

So so nice, I came here for my birthday pictures and It definitely was better than I expected. Everyone was so nice and even made me a pink drink to match my dress so I could take pics with. Will be back!
