Ordered a file cabinet $100+ for pickup in store. Order could not be filled. Despite the order saying $0 when checking the status, the money was still pending from my bank. Contacted my bank and they said I have to go through the store because they need to release the funds back. I called the store and the associate said it would take 3-10 business days to refund the money. Called customer service because I still wanted the item and was told money was never taken for the order since it could not be filled, yet the money is missing from my account with “Office Max” as the description. The customer service rep wanted me to place the order for delivery by spending ANOTHER $100+. Not everyone has over a hundred dollars to spare to place another order without receiving the initial money back...Called another customer service rep because the first one was not professional. The second rep was much nicer and helpful but said I had to call the store and request them to clear the order for the charge to cancel pending. Called the store and spoke to Debbie who said she had other things to take care of before me, but would call me back. Debbie never contacted me. I sent a complaint email to customer service and the email response from customer service said they requested the store manager to contact me in 48 hours, the manager never contacted me. About a week after placing the order and it going unfilled, my $100+ was finally released back to me. Will not be doing business with this location again and I recommend thinking twice before ordering pick up in store from them.

I asked to to print something at 740, and the person at the self service was taking a while. I asked the print employee if he could help me. He told me no, and that he stopped doing jobs at 730 pm. I told him I didnt know how long the self service person would take and that I needed colored paper and to finish by 8. He again told me he couldnt help and was busy and stopped doing any jobs at 730, even though the store is open till 8 and he was standing there doing nothing else. I asked him should I go across the street to fed ex and have them help, and he told me yes. I went to fed ex at Lansdowne commons and they gave me all the help I needed. Ill be going there from now on for future print jobs because they have great customer service.

I love this place they are all helpful except some of people. They always create labels which very easy and they never mention because they know how to take care of long term customers but some does not. Do you think putting 4 logos on one page which cost you 24 dollars for creating work:(((( I am so sorry such OfficeMax business, very very disappointing.

Walked in (4-7-21) to get a large format copy made. Guy behind the counter could not even log into his own computer. After discussing the problem with his colleague he switched to another workstation and then, 5 minutes later he finally got to a helpful screen. Then he asks for a phone number and I decline. He tells me that he has to have a phone number to plot one copy. I know this is not true as I have had this store make me lots of copies. Left and went to FedEx and made the copy myself with no line. Done with Max and their employees who don’t know the machines coupled with an I don’t care attitude.

We usually go to Office Depot closer to where we live, but this time we needed couple things and decided to check this Office Max out. What a pleasant experience! Very helpful and friendly workers.Especially Cameron! Wonderful young man! I wish sales people in all the stores of Virginia Beach where as knowledgeable, professional and helpful! Me and my husband where very happy with our visit. Job well done! Excellent store!

I cant rave about this Office Max enough! I regularly need things printed every week or so and very often I have unorthodox needs or I need help possibly resizing or editing some things for my business. Allie Bell is THE ONLY person I want to work with for any of my needs. From my first time to earlier today, every time I need something done she is kind, helpful, has a positive attitude, is professional, and best of all knows her stuff! I cant thank her enough for ALWAYS being ready to help me without ever acting frustrated or annoyed or anything except positive and helpful! I am actually closer to the one on Virginia Beach Blvd. I went there once I realized it was closer after having been going to Princess Anne and dealing with Allie specifically for months. I had a HORRIBLE experience with TWO employees in the print section that were both rude, impatient, unprofessional, and acted like having to help me was the biggest waste of their time and frustration of their lives. I wont be back. I will continue to drive an extra 15 out of my way just to be able to work with Allie who I know will always be helpful and produce the best looking products at the best price for my business. She is a gem and I hope she never leaves as I dont want to ever have to work with anyone else!ALSO the store is extremely clean, organized, and the other employees that I have asked for help from as well finding things in the store have gone above and beyond walking around with me to find what I need, asking each other if they arent sure about an answer rather than wasting time pretending to know or just not answering me because they arent sure. BEST OFFICE MAX EVER! Dont go anywhere else! It is weird Im so passionate about this place but owning and running a business is stressful enough and finding a location that is not only run well but with employees willing to help with a positive attitude is such a relief! Thank you!

The woman that worked the front counter at 8:00 this morning (19Mar20) was extremely rude to my girlfriend and I. We came in to pick up an office chair.Conversation:Me: Good morningWoman: What are you here for.Me: We ordered an office chair. *Presents order on phone.*Woman: Ok... you need to be more specific then that.Me: It is a black mesh office chair exactly like this one here. *Points to chair on display*.Woman: Ok.... When I said be more specific I meant actually say something that I can use.Girlfriend: Describes the chair and wrist rest we ordered pointing at our order behind the counter.THERE WERE ONLY FOUR ORDERS BEHIND THE COUNTER AND OUR ORDER HAD MY NAME ON IT.The woman then finishes our order and we leave.I have no idea what prompted this woman to be rude and not just look at my order number or just look at the 4 orders behind her. She was SUPER SARCASTIC for no apparent reason.

From the moment I walked in the door until the time I walked out - it was like shopping with your friends. Everyone was helpful, very kind and courteous throughout my entire shopping visit.Joe and his entire print staff were A-MAZING!! I had a deadline to meet and they even stayed late to make sure it was done by the time I needed it the next morning!Candice who is part of the management team is just the sweetest ever. She goes beyond the call of a manager to let you know that no matter what, you are the customer & she is there to make you happy and to make it happen!I truly cannot say enough about this store - especially this location. The clerk was handing out 25percent off coupons, I was standing right beside the customer that she handed it to I only received a coupon when the customer who was a stranger to me suggested can she get a coupon. I was planning on purchasing a computer but after that experience I decided to purchase one from Best Buy.

I gave 5 stars because I have been here several times when I could not find what I needed elsewhere they have a huge variety of all office supply items the only thing I would say is a lot of things here can be purchased at Walmart or Target for a cheaper price so check there first but if those stores dont have what you need this place probably will and the staff at this location has always been very helpful to me
