Went in there to get new prescription eyeglasses with transition lenses & was greeted by David W. I had the prescription from my eye doctor, picked out the frame, & David W. treated me like a professional. He laid out the costs along with the insurance; I got what I paid for when it came to what lenses I wanted in the prescription eyeglasses along with the warranty Eyemart Express had to offer. David W. was upfront, honest, & straightforward with how the process works along with taking care of me as a customer.

It was my first time using them, I’m really happy. The lady that help me was really nice and helpful! My eye insurance wasn’t in their network but she helped me out by giving me 50% off coupon to help with the cost. Got my glasses in less than a hour. I will definitely use them again in the future!

This was my first time here and i was blown away by how inexpensive all the glasses were with a variety of quality frames to choose from. The polite and professional staff were awesome, once I made my selection they had my glasses made in 10 minutes.

The physical location was slightly difficult as we passed right by it th the first time and had to turn around to get there. Best landmark, in my opinion, is Sherman Williams or the big PHO79 sign.Dave, our optical tech, was excellent. He made my daughter feel comfortable. He let her take her time, change her mind, and try on as many as she needed. He thoroughly explained the measurements and insurance part to me. Her glass were ready for pickup 27 minutes later. Amazing!!! Highly recommended.

The associate who assisted me, Matt, went above and beyond to help me find glasses that fit my budget, as well as my style. He was professional, kind and personable. However, the gentleman who helped me when I picked up my glasses was having a difficult time fitting them properly and made me feel like a bother. He asked another associate to help and she was very friendly and adjusted them on the first try. I would absolutely recommend this store!

I needed my glasses replaced now. I was able to pick out my frames order my lenses and and pick them up 90 minutes later.

This was one of the best retail experiences I have ever experienced . The General Manager Matt Jennings greeted me as I entered the store, questioned me concerning my needs, thoroughly explained my options, and took me to the frame wall. I was able to make my decision quickly and Matt processed my order and I was on my way in less than fifteen minutes. I received a text within an hour telling me that my glasses were ready. I couldn’t believe it. When I returned Matt was waiting for me with my new glasses. He checked the fit and explained the warranty, explained care and cleaning, and gave me two hard glasses cases and soft cleaning rags. I was in and out in less than ten minutes, With a smile, he told me he was looking forward to helping me with sunglasses. Exceptional employee, service, and product quality. This place is great. I am not sure why anyone would pay top dollar for eyewear at other retailers. Eyemart Express is fast, inexpensive and they are not pushy sales people. They dont need to be as their prices are probably the lowest in town. I went in, picked out frames and 71 minutes later I received a text saying that my order was ready. I highly recommend Eyemart Express!

I purchased two pairs of glasses here. I could not see out of them, so I went back to my eye doctor. He said that Id had really good lenses before, so that was the problem. I went back to Eyemart Express, and they put better lenses in for me (with an additional charge, of course). I still could not see and was worried about what to do next. I went back in today, and they refunded all of my money with no hassle. I appreciated all of their effort, and I would recommend them.

This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing frames and new lenses. The staff was super helpful. Went in at 11 am and came back at 2:30 to pickup my new pair of glasses and sunglasses. Less than half the price of any other place I tried. Happy guy.

My wife and I drove from Hampton to the VA. Beach location. We entered the office and there was three sales reps sitting and waiting for customers and we were the only ones. We were greeted by the first rep, who was very polite and offered great customer service. While I was looking for a frame that fits my liking she worked with my wife and completed her transaction. Once I found my frames I ask the other rep for assistance and for a price. She then ask if I have my prescription. I said no. She says that she can not give a price without a prescription. They originally quoted prices while we were there and now it is an issue. Not everyone that walk through the door walks in with a prescription. I asked her for just a range of prices to get a ballpark for the frames and she just sat there and gestured that she can not do anything without a prescription. It left a very bad taste in my mouth with her lousy, lazy customer service. I felt dejected and not respected as a customer. She could have given a range of prices but she did not offer any alternatives or customer service. We will not be returning. Ive read that others have experienced the same type of customer service.

This was my 1st experience with Eyemart Express. I could not be happier for the time, care & attention to details they displayed. And that goes for everyone from the cashiers, the salespersons, & lab techs. I had my new reading glasses in 33 minutes!!! Great quality. Lots of variety to choose from. Reasonable prices. No high pressure from sales staff....,just helpful suggestions & honest evaluations when comparing choice of materials & accessories. And what a bonus it was to get 2 pairs for $150. I am a new fan & highly recommend them!Another bonus is the optometrist Dr Miller is right next door. This makes it a one-stop shopping experience. And the staff here are willing to go the extra mile, especially the gal up front! The store was very efficient in assisting me when I went in to pick out and order new glasses. I had not planned on purchasing new glasses right now but my current glasses broke and the only other pair I had was an old prescription. They told me it would be 14 days before my new glasses would arrive which is the average turn around time when I had ordered glasses from other places in the past. I was beyond happy when I was notified my glasses were ready after only 8 days. Great job and I will be ordering from them again in he next time I need glasses!

First time ever hearing of this place a friend mentioned they did same day glasses so I figured why not? Best decision ever ! Everyone was so kind to me and extremely helpful from start to finish. It was my first time getting prisms in my glasses and was worried but they talked to me about how they work how they looked in the lens and did even better then my Dr on explaining!! Glasses choices are amazing and at a great price my glasses got back to me in under a hour 🙃 just want to say thanks to the team there everyone is so kind and overall great experience 100% will be using them again

Go here. Seriously. If you need glasses, especially if you need them quickly and want exceptional and friendly service, go HERE. I visited yesterday with my eye exam results from another location to pick out glasses and was greeted quickly and very friendly. There are COVID care and safety policies in place but nothing that would make anyone uncomfortable and you are encouraged to shop and try on a great selection of frames. I chose two frames, one for two pair of clear eyeglasses and one frame for two pair of sunglasses. I had an educator discount, the store discount and my insurance. The person who helped me entered every possibility into the computer to obtain for me the best price. She was very patient. I ended up saving $243.00 with all of the discounts. But, also amazingly, my four new pair of glasses were scheduled to be ready in two hours. So I went shopping and ran some errands to kill some time rather than go home. After every pair was complete and ready, I received a text letting me know. Instead of two hours, my four pair of glasses were ready in 67 minutes. This is seriously impressive and also saved me an hour and a half round trip back to pick them up. So, I saved a LOT of money, worked with great people (the lady who fitted my glasses at pickup was wonderful and so friendly. She fit my glasses perfectly!), saved a lot of time and gas and turned this task that I had put off into a lovely experience. I cannot recommend this eyewear company enough and plan on being a customer for life! I also wanted to add that they offer many different options and extras for your glasses. I always get scratch resistance but am usually not interested in other extras. While they were available and offered, there was absolutely no pressure to add them unlike other places that I have shopped which is really appreciated. Additionally the prices on frames and lenses is the lowest that I have ever encountered and I feel like I have four great quality pairs of glasses. So not only fantastic service but very good prices!

Terrible customer service. The saleswoman who helped me when I first went there was sarcastic and rude but glasses seemed like a good deal so ignored gut feeling to leave. When I went to pick up glasses the readers were wrong. The man who was helping me argued saying they were correct though I told him I couldnt read out of them. Decided to get a refund. The saleswoman who helped me with that (Alex) was very helpful and friendly.

I have never heard of EyeMart Express so I was a little skeptical about going here. The eye techs were very knowledgeable about how insurance worked. There were enough styles to make me happy. However I would have liked more brands such as Coach, etc. even with good insurance I paid over $200 for one pair and my second one was just as much. However I did purchase lens insurance and EyeMart had frame insurance for a year. So I purchased just one of the glasses for insurance.The techs work with you on price. The fantastic service is most glasses are same day service. They have a lab on site.

Very good, friendly customer service (Assistants Sarah and Debra in particular), and everything was processed within the hour, not to mention the addition of a free coupon of substantial value even though my insurance didn’t cover either the lenses or frames. Within another hour, the lenses and frames were completed for pickup. Would come back here if glasses are ever needed again, and I strongly recommend this place for your eyewear needs.

The employees at the store were friendly and efficent. The site is well lit and has a good assortment of eye wear. You can also get same day service if your lenses arent too complicated! I am very happy with this company and will use them again.

I was drawn to this place by all the wonderful reviews online and supposedly be affordable for people without insurance. I had really high hope before going but walked away with disappointment. The frame selection range was ok but the customer service was really bad. I told the staff that I was just browsing before my eye exam. She told me that she couldt help me unless I have the prescrition ready and said there was no point for me to look around otherwise as if suggesting if I wasnt ready to buy then I shouldnt be looking. l told her i was looking for practicular style but she didnt bother to help and practically rushed me out of the door. This was my third stop for my eyeglasses shopping and by far it has the worst customer experience. Most optical care that I went to had all been quite friendly and had all offer me some help to point me in the right direction. If you are looking for quality care and like to shop and compare, look elsewhere, pearle vision and blink that I went to for first impression/consultation had been be way better experience than this.

Recieved text alerts when each pair were ready. My visit was more than I expected it to be. 1.Very professional. 2 Very helpful but not over bearing in helping you find the glasses you like and helping in finding something in the price range thats affordable to you. The associate, Stefon, was excellent. He was clear, concise, and descriptive, he explained things well, and gave me the pros and cons of choosing one type of lens over the other. He also informed me over the store policies in case any issue arrises. Outstanding. and the late 40-ish black female associate did just as excellent as well. She made sure that my glasses fit well, she trained me how to navigate my the eyes thru the lens for the best viewing, and I departed the store with no questions. Very outstanding and approachable, well trained staff that I met.
