Joel is always very pleasant. He has accommodated me many times as far as crazy hours dropping off tanks or picking up filled, which is very helpful. He also takes the time to explain products to you. He has a lot of knowledge whether you are a beginner diver or expert. He has all kinds of different gear on site and is willing to look at/test your existing gear. I highly recommend Joel at dive services!

The owner of this shop (Joel) is truly the most knowledgeable Ive encountered in my 30+ years of diving. He will spend as much time as you need explaining equipment options or helping with skills. Hes an experienced instructor and really understands the equipment and skills required to dive safely. You will not find another dive shop who will spend the kind of one-on-one time that Joel spends with you. Its too bad you cant find this kind of service everywhere. This shop is truly a gem.

WARNING...BE ADVISED... CAUTION!!When I called I was told by the owner he will not service gear of Republican customers. Will only work with people voting for Biden, that he had a sign in front of business stating such. So at this shop, apparently you must show your voter ID card and vote exactly as he dictates...

Great place, Joel goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Purchased a new regulator and he still tested it. Did not like how it was working and immediately picked up another new one and made sure it was perfect. Also cleaned and rebuilt my octo for free.

Known Joel for years and needed service during business hours and was sent somewhere else. Very disappointed in Joel and will use a more professional company in the future. Good price on air and mixed gas but you really have to like Joel to want to shop there. My Advice is to shop online or go to a more professional service.

Joel knows whats up in VA Beach. He knows the wrecks, how deep and what your going to need in your mix. Hes got some really cool air guns too.

Great place. I went in to get a new dive computer battery and to get my dive light fixed. In 10 min flat Joel got a proper battery in my dive computer. My dive computer worked. He checked my light out and got it turn on...even threw in some batteries....and I was out the door. No nonsense make it happen business. ..will use again..

Small one man shop but stocked with neat scuba gear and gadgets, best air fills anyway. Full service shop with repairs, mixed gas fills and service with a smile. Joel will really go out of his way to make things right.

The owner will go out of his way to assist you just call ahead of time to make an appointment.

Joel is by far the most knowledgeable and down to earth technician I have ever worked with. And his prices are the best.

I am not a diver, so I have only had a couple of tanks filled for paintball and purchased one tank to fill an airbow. Joel gives great service and I would highly recommend giving him a try. He preaches Safety and will educate you on why.

Spoke on the phone, about renting tanks, showed up to his house and he disrespectfully rejected service due to my lack of punctuality. Take your business elsewhere. Real businesses understand customers aren’t always on their schedule.

I can not speak of Joel highly enough. I didnt know him before we started doing business together, and we have built quite the relationship since. Why you ask...? Because once you start doing business with him, its hard not to. He ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make you happy. I can not tell you how many times Ive been in a jam last minute and either needed a air fill, or a O ring, and hes ALWAYS been there for me and anyone Ive ever known for what its worth! Ive never had such great customer satisfaction as I have with him.On another note, after reading the comment below about the unhappy guy, I feel the need to elaborate. I know Joal hands down and without even talking to him about that guy, I can tell you without a doubt that if he feels something isnt right for your safety, he will NOT send you out the door with a hope and a prayer PERIOD! Its not how he does business! He cares more about ones safety, then making a buck. Again, I can not tell you how many times Ive gone in there to get a fill, and hell say lets throw your reg on the machine to make sure its working right before you go, it wont take but a min, its better to be safe then sorry. He checks and DOUBLE checks things time and time again and thats just how he does business.I know when I buy equipment through Joal, that its not only right and suited for my needs, I know Ill always be taken care of because wise because he highly believes in taking care of everyone above and beyond. Its always a pleasure doing business with him and I wouldnt hesitate for a second knowing my equipment either came from, or was serviced by him! Oh and dont forget to ask for the freebies before you leave haha. He loves to give out free calendars and pens and stuff before you go:). Thats just the type of person he is.....
