The girls in the floor are very sweet and helpful. However, the cashiers are pretty rude. I rather shop online or go to a different location.Once I was done with my shopping and ready to purchase, I politely asked the cashier if I could use a coupon. She rudely said no, then had the audacity to ask if I still wanted to purchase the more expensive items, when she had already scanned the less expensive ones. Why would I grab them in the first place?The next incident I had at this store I tried paying with cash and the cashier rudely interrogated me about my $100 bills. I was so close on just leaving and not purchasing the items but, I needed them so I just paid with card. I was left feeling embarrassed and with a sour taste. I then went into the bank to check them, they said they were fine.Not a good experience with the cashiers.

Ive never been to Ulta Beauty, and in fact never really known about make up or beauty products. As soon as I walked in I was confused as to where to go and what product for eyeliner would be the best, but Crystal came and asked if I needed help and suggested certain products that made the visit worth while. She recommended an amazing eyeliner that literally does not smudge at all, and just was an all around helpful guide. Because of that i will definitely be coming back.

The beauty advisor named Angel was great and really helpful. She made or experience great. Will definitely be going back.

Jordan is the one who cut my hair and it came out perfect...Today she added some highlights and it is awesome!! I really love it. She is a lovely person as well.

I had the most delightful assistant helping me with curling irons. She went over the process several times and helped me a lot. I picked up a large shampoo also and there was a trial size conditioner that was a bonus. I was disappointed but I paid. I had lunch and decided I would ask if I could get a discount on the 4 ounce travel size. They could not accommodate my request, so I returned the $60.00 bottle of shampoo.I want to support local business, however I can get it online much cheaper. It is sad to me that the manager was so inflexible and lost the sale.

Not happy on how they handle pick up orders. I got an email saying today was my last day to pick up and i called them just to make sure if they would hold it for the next day if not i will go pick it up. They said oh we already put your order back, i was like what? I just got an email this morning saying its the last day to pick up. I had just order it a few days ago.

I went in to look for product for my face, and Emma helped me out and took her time to explain the different products for different types of skin... the best customer service! I will be going back to purchase my skin products from here. Thank you so much!

No one greeted me or ever asked for i needed help. And I did need it. I was also signed up for rewards points without being asked if I wanted to or not. Store could also be cleaner and product put into the correct places. My first time here was disappointing.

As much as I love Ulta products and everything, I went to the salon to get some blonde highlights and even though the salonist was awesome and very kind, she didn’t do the highlights at all correctly, even in my experience with highlights on multiple occasions in the past, they have always managed to put some kind of actual blonde color into my hair, and when I was finished with my hair and it was blown dry, there was zero blonde in it, it looked like it was just a stripped Carmel brown color. I absolutely hate it. It looked nothing like it should have, even with my hair color it would of lifted and turned blonde if it was done correctly. I had to make another appointment somewhere else to have it corrected the way it should have been. I will not be returning to Ulta for any hair services in the salon in the future ever again. The salonist as a person was fantastic but the work was extremely disappointing.

My first salon experience at this location went well. Jordanian was friendly and provided prompt service. Kind of disappointed that she didn’t ask if I wanted to make another appointment— that is usually a must!

Well the place is nice all the chicks are hot and pretty 😍. I go Everytime my wife wants to go there to spend my hard earned money 😭😭 on makeup but not perfumes, I have to buy them for her, And everytime she goes like this. I want this perfume for my Birthday and this for mothers, christmas etc etc, they cost $100 and something and what do I get for those days ? Boxers and baseball caps that I not even like them or chocolates 🥺🥺. They smell good but are a bit expensive but worth it they last longer than the cheap brands . I recomended if you want good quality products .

I went to the Ulta in Visalia for the first time and had a great experience. The gentleman who assisted me helped me locate the lashes section and also had a positive friendly attitude, the cashier was also really nice and patient with me. I’ll be going back again :)

Their online makeup matching tool was actually spot on. I am happy with every piece of makeup I purchased online despite it being my first time purchasing makeup online without being able to see if makeup was true to color in person. I was super hesitant but I am sure Ill continue to buy online in the future.

Makeup artist here are very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me find the right colors and suggest products thats best for my daught, my niece and myself..

Won’t be back again. The staff was so rude with the exception of one of the Clinique employees. She’s the only reason I ended up buying anything. They followed me and my sister around as if we were gonna steal or something when we were testing the perfumes they even said a comment about us putting them back in the wrong places like it’s my job to know where the perfumes go I wasn’t moving them. I needed help picking out a gift for my sister in law but instead everyone was just watching us with dirty looks making me feel unwelcome. At one point 3 employees came up to me all at once asking if I needed help at that point I had enough I just bought what I had in my hands and got out I was planning on buying makeup too and ended up spending $209 which I now regret I should of just went to my local ulta. I felt targeted and discriminated against their was other customers from different ethnicities that were treated far better than us.

The best Ulta ever!! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I buy high and low products and these ladies are great. No snobby attitudes, even when I look my worst. Thanks for making my shopping experience great. Fr if I could give more stars, I would.

Called before heading to the store to ensure product availability of the single- deep pore cleansing clarisonic replaceable head, after one girl told me to hold and that she would check for me, 4 minutes later another girl said she’d help me instead. She said it was there, even reinforced that it was the single Head in stock. I get to the store and it’s not in stock. I end up buying the two pack....only to get home and find that it wasn’t properly sealed and there is one of two replaceable heads missing.

Took are daughter to get some make up. Great customer service.

A bit expensive but they have what I need for my hair.

So I came here looking for a lipstick that I was excited to get and I asked I they still had it and they told me they would get it from the back. And I stood waiting and they never came out with it! So I asked again and they told me the same but still nothing!! Very upset that I was not able to get my lipstick and now will have to wait to order online which will take longer and I wanted to use it for a party which I will not be able to use anymore.

I cant really give a review on this place mainly because coming her was with my wife and she was the one doing the shopping. But.. as experiencing the customer service its good but still wanting of something more! My wife tends to know what she wants and doesnt need to ask for help but in the times that she has its either been a very good experience or its been a where did all the help go? Kind of experience. She loves the product, likes to browse Im more of the get in and go type. So guys if youre going with your wives Id suggest waiting in the car or even outside, it can get very crowded in here!

Every team member here was staring at me and it made me feel uncomfortable as they bickered amongst each other while I shopped. They kept asking if I was ready to checkout when I was clearly still shopping. There was a tall thin employee with a 1998 tattoo who was talking to a blonde girl and staring at me the whole time. It was the most awkward situation Ive been in at an ulta. I definitely will not be returning

Went in to get my natural blonde hair lightened with a toner. The hair stylist kept asking if I wanted it darker.. I reiterated that no I wanted it lighter and wanted to counter the yellow tones (I showed pictures). 2 and a half hours later shes washing my hair out and talking about how damaged the ends of my hair are and that we should cut 4 inches off. I said no. She tried to calm them down using something (that I got charged for) and told me I need to buy this protein spray for them.. My hair is now 4 shades darker than I wanted and so frizzy and dead from top to bottom. I would have been better off never going in. I spoke with a manager and she said I still needed to pay for my services and come back to give the stylist a chance to fix her mistakes. WHY would I go back to the same person?? Paid $82 and left the store crying. Do NOT get your hair done here. Worst experience Ive ever had.

I used to love this store but since my last couple visits I have to give it a one-star rating if I could give it a zero I would the women who work there are so rude and totally racist if you go in Wearing regular clothes and not all did up you wont get any service because they judge you according to what your dress like as if that says how much youre going to spend and I felt I wasnt giving any service because Im Mexican. I went in with the intentions of making a major purchase of hair products because Im dealing with some hair loss and scalp issues and I kept asking for someone to help me and was totally ignored the floor person kept asking everyone else if they needed help and I kept waving her my way she totally ignored me I approached her and she kept saying Ill be right with you when she wasnt doing anything but staring at a damn Shelf not helping anyone so there was no reason she couldnt help me very upset I even reached out to their customer service still waiting to hear back from their operations

The girls are very rude and snobby here, I asked one if they had a list of products and she told me “nope that’s Sephora” well, a really nice girl with blue hair came and helped me find what I was looking for which they did carry after all! I was about to put everything down and say “f it” (I keep going back even though the attitudes are always there) but because the second girl was so helpful and the benefit girl was very nice I bought a few select items but now I will only go to sephora or drive to Hanford for Ulta from now on. The girls are just so rude and it has officially made me never want to go back.

God this stores employees are terrible. They offer nothing but judgmental looks and body language, even as low level associates seem to think theyre managers? Im refusing to give this store any business from now on. Hanford location is 10x better! They have more selection and its honestly worth driving the extra 20 minutes just to avoid the staff.

This is more on my wifes behalf more than my own, being the husband I dont shop here so I mainly just come to hold her purse and tell her stuff looks nice lol. So heres a tip beware of the buy one get one 50 percent off its a total sham! They actually charge both of your items at 25% off rather then one full price and another for half off. That way youre actually still spending more money then you would if it was done the way it is said it will be done. The girls here are nice, theres always someone to see how youre doing, or if you need any help. It can get hectic in here so guys be ready to bump alot of elbows with the many makeup enthusiasts in this town!

Good place good products a good but a little expensive for the menthey say youre youre experiencing who you get depends on who is your hairdresser at the time so your bill depends on who you get and how experienced they are when you get your Im a male and I like to get my hair touched the last time I was there they I was charged $70 for a hair dye for a man thats a lot for women thats a guys can go to Supercuts or any other place Im get it way cheeper again for men I can only speak if you need cologne they do have a big selection but there are lots of them they dont carry so if you cant find what you want go to Macys has a big selection of colognes and have and have everything

Bad experience all the courtesy that the employees are trying to show is so fake !! From the greeting to where trynna help matching make up, I told the lady how I didn’t like the shade that I got before and she was like “oh that’s not your shade at all “ but I got it at the same place sold to me by one of her coworkers then she was trying some make up on me and it look terrible and she was like do you like it ?! And I didn’t wanna be rude so I told her to try an other one then she said oh is because we don’t have sponges !! While she was doing all that she was chewing gum, so she blamed the bad foundations on the application but yet she was like which one are you gonna get ?!!! I was like really you want me to spend all that money in something that looks so bad!! Very bad customer service y’all need to get real employees!! My humble opinion..

Ulta is a good place for makeup i.personnely dont like there testers some of there makeup is broke people use the lipsticks an you got someonelse lipstaick stain on top of the lip stick you wanna try on.people make messes out of the eyeshadows..to me i dont think ulta needs to be doing testers i think they lose alot of product that way (just my opinion)

Great service

Went in to discuss a defective product where the pump dispenser did not work. This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened. Manager refused to provide me with a $3 replacement pump. I wouldnt have purchased it, if it had been $.50, based on principal. I had intended to purchased several cans of hair spray, but walked out instead. Manager obviously does not care about providing good customer service or customer retention. Seriously? The stores cost of that stupid pump was probably less than 25 cents and they lost my business for good!

I went in on 12/14/18 to purchase some Christmas gifts. I went to the register to pay and the cashier had me insert my chip twice. She said the first time didn’t go through. I went to check my bank statement and come to find they charged me $141.70 two times! I called an hour later to have it refunded and was tolled to go into the store to have it returned. I did so, after about 3 attempts of speaking to different employees and being given the run around someone said “we’re sorry, this happens a lot! We’ll have it fixed for you shortly”. After 3 days they completely shut me out and said they can no longer help me as their records don’t show my transactions. I feel they intentionally stole the money and I will be desputing the charge with my bank as well as filing a police report for theft. They knew exactly what they were doing and I’d suggest anyone who goes there pay cash!! These people handled this horribly and were to the point of disrespectful towards the end of me pushing the issue. With Christmas so close I’m out of that money and they won’t even try to help, they’ve dismissed the whole thing stating they don’t see the transaction on their end. My bank clearly said the store had taken the money from my card already, these women are very sneaky and caniving and probably do this on a regular. Please advise! Check your statements or pay cash!

Never going to this store again!!! A few things that I buy there exclusively I could probably find some place else. Theyre always out of my colors and shades. It drives me crazy. I drive out of town to go there. Never ever again. Even the stuff I can get at Walgreens or CVS have a better supply than this place. The staff are completely clueless about products. Its like its their lame job they have to go to because theyre desperate for work.

Good service friendly sales lady

It seems that almost every time I go they are out of the hairspray I like or there is only one with the cap missing. Also when looking for a certain shade of makeup, the display does not match up with what is there. Another frustration is at checkout, I always have to ask if I have points to use....they sometimes act annoyed I asked.

I went in to buy make-up for a chick I didnt know what I was looking for but they sure did help me find it. Let me say the chick was impressed.

2/18/18 @ 5:22 pm; I was rung up by a cashier who was RUDE. The cashier “Monica” made me feel so uncomfortable in the store the whole time I was being rung up by her she used a snotty attitude and rolled her eyes at me I will definitely not come back to this store! It was my first visit and my LAST.

Ulta has been a great addition to Visalia. It offers more than other makeup stores. Ulta sells high end and drugstore makeup products. They just remodeled it and added even more makeup brands like Mac, Lancome and Morphe. Unfortunately I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the organization and overall cleanly and neatness of makeup displays. Its hair to use the testes because they are either gone or misplaced. The assistant managers and managers like to stand close to one another and converse. I have noticed this about 3 separate times Ive gone in. They are polite and greet me as I walk by but I feel as though they could be redirected their other employees to stay on top of cleanliness of displays and make sure testers are available ...or that the bathrooms are cleaned, with toilet paper.

They were out of everything!!! Their auto-refill sucks. Ladies were nice and helpful, knew their products but are not in control of ordering. Shame on Ultra for this. Very frustrating for the consumer. Not the sales staffs fault.
