We had a car accident insurance claim processing with them, they were faster than any place weve used for this sort of thing, it was in and out in less than 10 business days. Reading all the great comments and reviews about Mike and his team, I decided to go to Vista Auto Body & Mechanic to have a dent in my door fixed. I have to say, I definitely see why everyone rates them 5 stars. I dropped in to Mikes office and asked him for a quote, and he immediately came over to my car and did a thorough inspection. He suggested so many options for me, ranging from the cheapest quick-fix options to the more expensive but necessary options. Given my schedule and inability to leave my car at the shop long term, I asked him to perform the cheapest quick-fix for the time being. Not only did he complete the fix in less than ten minutes, he didnt even charge me for the repair! I insisted on tipping him, but Mike was being truly kind and simply wanted to help me out. He also provided me with a referral to a buddy of his that can remove crowns. I cannot thank Mike and his team for their kindness, professionalism, and understanding when it came to my situation, and I look forward to coming back to them when I will eventually receive a larger repair for my car!

Incredible experience here at Vista Auto Body & Mechanic. I came here to get rear bumper and side panels replaced and painted after an accident. The team went above and beyond my expectations in quality, timing, and customer service. They provided me constant updates on the process, answered any questions, and in the end the quality of work was amazing. The car looks as if brand new from the rear and sides now. I have now taken 2 vehicles of mine to the guys at Vista Auto and they somehow continue to surprise me more and more each visit. A random large object flew off another car in front of and slammed into my hood & quarter panel. Tony & Mike were crystal clear on what was ideal vs what was necessary in order to get it back to normal, without breaking my wallet or raising my insurance. They took the car & within a couple days returned the vehicle as good as new, but it was also detailed and vacuumed better than any of the local car washes I frequent (even though it rained!). Hands down the best service Ive gotten anywhere in as long as I can remember. I just wish I had a bigger project for them to do for me cause theyve had some really cool custom cars there the last 2 times Ive been.

I dropped my car off on a Monday, and had it back by Friday afternoon. It was minor damage but required a bumper replacement. I also had a dent issue from previous activity, and they got that too. Overall, the work was really good. Cant tell I was ever hit. The price was much less than I had expected to pay, and they stuck to the estimate price with no attempts to upsell. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Brought in a 2018 Ford Fusion that needed a front bumper repair as an object had hit it on the freeway. Mike was super helpful and got an OEM replacement and had it painted to match the color of the car. Then they had put on the trim parts that needed to be replaced. Afterward, the bumper had looked good as new! Thank you guys!

I recommend going here if you have any problems that arises. My car was completely jacked up and they handed it in a timely manner but also took care of me like I was one of their own. Vista Auto Body is excellent! I ran over a metal object on the 78 and it tore my bumper half off. From the time of the accident to finished repair was 24 hours. For real! I recently damaged the passenger door and rear quarter panel on my Audi A8L. I have used other body shops in Oceanside but Vista Auto Body and Mechanic came highly recommended. My insurer tried to get me to go with one of their designated repair shops but I declined.Not having used them before I was a bit concerned regarding the quality of work they would provide on my Audi.I met the owner Tony and his son Mike and I have to say, the customer interaction and service they provided me when inspecting my car exceeded my expectations. I had a lot of questions and they were all answered in detail. But, as the saying goes the proof is in the pudding.I was kept in the loop throughout the full repair process from the insurance approval, parts ordering (all-new Audi parts!) up to the completion of the work.Today I picked up my car and was thoroughly elated. Not only were the repairs completed to perfection, but their attention to detail was also incredible. My Audi looked better than new! They had replaced the door and repaired the rear quarter panel but you could never tell. The paint on my 7-year-old Audi was matched flawlessly and fit and finish were like the assembly line.But they did not stop there. They fully detailed my car, inside and out, shampooed the carpets and buffed out the entire car. They fully went the Extra Mile something I am not accustomed to these days.I normally do not write reviews, but I was so impressed by the customer service and quality of the work performed, I felt compelled to let others know about my experience. I’ve been to this place twice over the past couple years and they are awesome! The first time I had been in an accident (not my fault) and my car had been left un drivable. I was really worried my car had been totaled, but my car ended up coming out looking even better than it had gone in! They also did some inside upholstery work that was flawless. The quote for my repairs was similar to others wed received, but we picked this shop because of the professionalism and good family feel of Mike and Cindy. The damage to the cars side was extensive and required a new quarter panel, repair work to the lower fender, and and further repair work on damage that was initially hidden. The completed job was excellent and they even detailed the car. Mike was flexible in working with the insurance company quote and ultimately submitted a supplemental work order which the insurance approved. Highly recommend.

My daughter had her car hit and run while parked in her apartment lot, the bumper was destroyed. She went to a couple of places I found on yelp and google for estimates and we both were really impressed with the customer service at Vista when she took the car in and I called to follow up, so we decided to have the repair done there. So happy we did, they did a fantastic job! Mike was awesome to work with, as I was helping to deal with and pay for the repair and I am located in Northern California, he was great about informing me on what was going on and getting the new bumper ordered very quickly. Once the bumper was in, my daughter brought the car in on a Tuesday morning and the car was ready Wednesday by about 10 am. After they called to say the car was ready, I called back to ask them if they had time to wax the entire car and how much it would cost, as they only repaired the bumper and rear light, but I was sure the car was in need of a good wax job, and Tony said he would personally wax the car and do the windows for us at NO CHARGE! The car looks fabulous! They did such a great job, I am so happy we used Vista! Great experience! 100% recommended!Meghan Mahler

This place is the best for service at a good price. DO NOT .. I repeat DO NOT go anywhere else for an estimate if it involves paint and body work. My 2016 Altima is Pearl White and needed some touch up paint on the lower passenger side bumper. I was given an estimate by a shop that is well known and it was about $600. I came to see Mike here at Vista Body and Paint and the same job was only $100. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. I also see they offer a variety of mechanical services as well. If anything happens to my car in the future, I’LL BE BACK!!

I am editing my last review to add a second visit:2nd visit- I accidentally loosened the front bumper on a high curb. It caused a gap between the bumper and the body. I brought it so they could look at it. They asked me if I could leave the car and come back for it but since I live about 12 miles away that would have been complicated. They went ahead and fixed it for me on the spot. It looks great and the price was very reasonable.1st visit:I brought my Toyota Corolla in to have a long scratch along the passenger side fixed. The price and service were excellent. The car was ready the same day (brought it in at 8:30 and ready by 2:30). My car was also vacuumed, washed and beautifully waxed. I checked up on Vista Auto Body on the Better Business Bureau website prior to bringing my car and and found that they have an A+ rating. It is a nice family owned business and they really work hard to please the customer.

This has been a pleasant experience taking my car to this body shop. The staff were courteous, friendly and very professional. They kept me informed throughout the process of repairing the damage done on my car and even sent pictures of the process while I was out of the city in a rental. I would highly recommend taking your car here for repair for excellent and high quality service.

I am very surprised by the positive reviews, this company is not professional, gave me one quote, then asked me to send them e-mail to confirm to which they did not respond for 4 days until I finally called again. Then they decided they dont want the job to just do paint as they are more interested in selling the parts as well.Stay away from them, they will tell you one thing and then change their mind, their lead time to do a paint job on 4 panels is 10 business days, so if you want to wait for 2 weeks on a simple paint job and over pay you are welcome to use these guys.

I highly recommend Vista Auto Body Shop. The service cant be beat, the prices are fair, and my car always runs so nice after I leave. I love the way Chris takes time to show all the parts from my car that he replaced. He has pride in his work, explains what was done, and sometimes puts the car on the lift to show the work in detail. I like that after a large service, my car has been cleaned inside and out, including the engine! Even though its not too close to my home, I will travel, this is a very inviting family business that takes pride in their work (they are all a pleasure to work with) and I will be back.

The best people I’ve ever worked with on cars. I have a NISMO 350z and some one screwed it up by hitting and running in a parking lot mike and his dad took car of it and made me feel great and the car look great....Then I took it back to have some custom parts put on only bc I didn’t trust anyone else. BEYOND HAPPY!!!! I dont know what I would have done with out Chris and Tonys team at Vista Auto Body & Mechanic. I was recently involved in a major accident I got into a front end collision with my 2011 Mercedes s550 and completely destroyed it my air bags had popped my front end was pushed all the way in and my car was leaking stuff all over the place they had towed my car away on a Friday so I took some time to relax. I had told a friend about what happened and they told me to give Chris a call down at Vista Auto Body. Sure enough after talking to him for some time I felt comfortable with his advise. He gave me his word that he would take care of my car and handle all the paper work. When I went to go pick up my car it looked AMAZING !!! They took such good care of it they had detailed the hole car for me inside and out you couldnt even tell the car was involved in a accident. let me tell you my car is black the color match was grate!! Not only do they do Amazing work but they make you feel apart of the family! seriously Vista Auto Body dose better work then the Mercedes-Benz Dealership. I checked the web to find someone to work on my 2005 Scion xB, through these reviews I found Vista Auto Body. I was introduced to Chris, one of the mechanics of the shop and he took excellent care of my car. To be honest Im not an expert on cars, but Chris explained everything we needed to do in a clear and understandable manner. He had the radiator, water pump, and spark plugs all replaced. He showed me the old parts and explained why they needed to be replaced. Vista Auto Body is extremely thorough and the utmost professionals. If you need work done on your engine Chris and Vista Auto Body are without a doubt where to need to take your car.

After a second time trying to take out my driveway ornamental pillar (I wasnt drinking either time), I couldnt claim it on my insurance this time, so I went to Vista Auto Body & Mechanics. Tony and Chris worked miracles on my passenger side door and part of the car (yes, when I do damage to my car, I do excel) and knowing that I was paying cash, they really worked with me on the cost. This is the best place for body work and quick -- Ive been to a few other body shops. Darn that driveway.

We had a couple of gouges in the front bumper and a small ding in the rear door of our SUV. The car is less than a year old and we wanted it to look like it so we took the car to VAB&M where I met Mike. We spoke about my issues and he quoted me a very reasonable price for the work. We scheduled the appointment and took it in on a Monday. We picked it up the next day and the car looks like new.The shop not only repaired qouted damage but also took care of some scratches near our tail light and detailed the car for no additional charge. No hassles, and for older folks like us that is a blessing. We highly recommend this establishment.

So, when I say that Vista Auto Body is the best auto body shop Ive done business with, its no exaggeration. Previous experience with body shops has led to take-backs and less than professional work. Not so with this facility.To begin with, the owner/manager, Tony accommodated me in agreeing to repair the collision damage to my 24 year old truck. This is notable because parts for older vehicles can be hard to find which can lead to increased labor and parts cost, reducing profit margins. For instance, the insurance companies will pay only what the book says, they wont fund hours spent sourcing parts...or shipping costs from remote locations. Not all shops will take on this kind of work.Tonys son, Mike, and his crew took over from there and performed the repairs, restoring my vehicle to like-new condition. Mike did an excellent paint job - actually better than the factory finish - and the part fitment was equally good.What sets this body shop apart from others is their penchant for detail and for performing more than just what is required to get the vehicle out the door. For example: they touched-up many small nicks and scratches at various locations on the truck; they repainted a portion of the tailgate that had some paint exfoliation and they repainted the step on the rear step bumper (it was showing rust and was distressed looking). None of these repairs were in any way related to why the truck was in the shop, they were all above and beyond what was required and were performed at no additional cost.The attention to detail didnt stop with just repairs, before returning the truck to me, they thoroughly washed the exterior and cleaned the interior to include detailing the inside (and outside) of all the glass to spotless condition - very impressive.Finally, a word about intangibles. From start to finish, every person I dealt with was cordial and personable. I got the feeling that they take a lot of pride in what they do and truly want every customer to be happy with their work. Great service and helpful service. Went in to get and estimate for scheduled service and they took my car right in. They answered all of my questions and explained in detail what work was needed for my car and what was not. I will use them again due to the great overall experience.

I had an engine overheating on my car. Temperature signal was on. I came here andafter 30 min they found the problem and ordered necessary parts from authorized dealer. In one hour parts was in the shop and after another couple of hours I got my car back.Its unbelievable that my car was fixed so fast and the price was very good.My car runs great now without any problems.Thanks guys from Vista Auto Body & Mechanic.

Careful with this shop. I took in a c320 benz for body repair and they ended up replacing with parts made in china! what a sorry shop. When i went to pick it up they ended up draining my battery i had to purchase one and they wanted to charge me an extra 900.00 bucks from the original estimate i had signed before.edit: funny how they keep removing my post....

Mike, an employee, did an amazing job on my truck. Before it had little dents everywhere, my front license plate was falling off, the bed of my was scratched terribly, and my front bumper was super faded. After a a few days I went to pick it up and it looked brand new! He pulled all the dents out, rhino lined the bed, replaced my bumper, and fixed my plate. 10/10

My wife was rear ended and we took our Honda to get repaired. Literally from the moment I walked in the door I was impressed with the service. The gal that took my information was very helpful and knowledgeable about how to work with the insurance company. The repairs were done within about a week and when we went to pick up the car Mike and his father were so chipper and pleasant. A few days later we realized that one of the seams was not perfectly aligned (Im OCD) and when we called to see what could be done they happily just said bring it in, we will take care of it. I highly recommend them and will take any future unfortunate events to them.
