We just had 4 tires and an alignment done at this location. They were very polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. They even drove to san Diego to get our tires fron the warehouse and still had our truck done in a very reasonable time frame. I highly recommend this location.
Not so good so far. They had no record of my break service in December. I paid for life time front breaks. Luckily I had the invoice on my phone. Not a big confidence builder. I hope there are no more issues. Its only been 8 months. Now they say they are very busy and it will take a long time. I dont see where I have a choice the breaks are screeching. We will see.
Had a bad experience at vista firestone off university, William told me they could could adjust my camber plates even with my lifetime warranty. Also quite didnt understand the difference between caster and camber.I took it over to Firestone off ash in escondido, and Junior and his team Couldnt be more helpful, they adjusted my camber/caster plates with no problems.Hands down best Firestone experience 🙌 dont go anywhere else.
So far Ive been standing here for 25 minutes and no one has spoken to me. Im literally standing on one of the Stay 6 Feet stickers on the floor staring at one guy in a window and one guy helping the customer previous to me. 25 minutes! Itll be 30 minutes soon and probably an hour. Theres only one customer in here. 4 hours later, they pulled the vehicle in but I dont see anyone working on it. Wouldve been nice to know an estimated wait time.

Excellent service!! Very detailed. Not pushy on selling products, but they will tell you if you need something that is important to your vehicle. For example, I had a coolant leak, and my reservoir was completely empty. I knew this beforehand, but they said its only cost thirty bucks find out where the leak is coming. At least now I know.
See HEIDI for ANY sort of service you need on your car of any kind! they will give you beyond satisfactory service here in vista and will make sure your rolling out wanting to come back the next day, so pleased with my visit my car feels like new!!

The representative told me I needed new spark plugs when I went to have my car checked over in May 2021. I had new spark plugs installed December of 2020, so this felt dishonest.

This is the best location Ive ever been to! David in particular is really amazing! He is always so friendly and so incredibly honest and knowledgeable and thorough with the entire experience. I will never go to a other mechanic. I came here for the first time about 3 years ago and last year I got your credit card to get new tires and brake pads when I couldnt afford it all at once and it actually brought my credit up and obviously helped me when I was in a huge bind. I cant thank you guys enough especially my credit was just going back up at that point and I seriously needed this card in these repairs. Thank you thank you thank you! I also received over $100 in Visa gift cards from rebates because David pointed them out and always make sure I get the best deals and get taken care of. He tells me the best things to do and gives me options. Hes always willing to do everything possible to make my car perfect yet Im always giving an honest alternative advice as well. For example just checking the warranty from where I got my battery and then coming back to get it cleaned in case they cant replace it for free first. 10 stars across the board!! :D
Brian was great over the phone and in store. He took his time in explaining services and listing to my needs/concerns and when it came down to price he didnt pressure me and worked some multi discounts. My work van is my income and they delivered as they always have with great service and in a reasonable amount of time. This had been my fourth service at Vista all have been fantastic.
Beat everyone in the area for New truck tires
Matt started reviewing the work needed on my car by telling me I’d maintained the car well, but that with the car’s high mileage, certain things needed attention. He explained in detail the amount of brake pad remaining, the condition of each of the belts,etc. It was very clear. He explained to me exactly how much room regarding the bill that he was able to discount for me.
They use an air gun to tighten the oil plug so you have to come back. I told them not to do it and they did it again. Don’t come here for oil changes.
I was in for a basic oil change. While I was there, The Sales advisor/technician treated another customer (senior citizen) with honesty and integrity by directing the customer to the dealer for a repair that would be covered under warranty. I appreciated the fairness with which he treated this person instead of looking after his bottom line and completing the repair at his shop. I know that I can send any friend or family member there and know that they would be treated fairly without worry. I was impressed.
Got an alignment. Was able to schedule. Woman at front counter was professional and knew the basic steps in troubleshooting wheel shimmying. Guys in the back had me in and out within an hour after presenting me with a free analysis to see if I still wanted it done. After getting on the freeway, the shimmy is gone and my steering feels tighter and no more crooked steering wheel.Great job!
Truly a 5 star experience! I appreciated the thorough explanation to help me decide what services my car required. This is a place where I always feel like I have been dealt with honestly which as a senior citizen on a fixed income means a lot. The employees at this Firestone location are very courteous and professional.
When buying tires or having your vehicle serviced at Firestone, you must be prepared and have the correct perspective. Let me explain: 1) I have been going there for almost 10 years - all of the personnel have been courteous and professional. However, for reasons unknown to me, they seem to often be short staffed. I have come to learn that if I want to be in and out of there in a reasonable length of time, I arrive early in the work day (8 AM), and I am prepared to wait at least an hour for any task to be completed. I either bring work or reading material with me or hike the short walk to the nearby Carls Jr. and enjoy breakfast and coffee. 2) They will invariably always try to up-sell you on additional products and/or services that may or may not be needed in my mind. Having grown up in the Auto industry, I can discern which services are worthwhile. For those who are not car repair saavy, taking someone along who is couldnt hurt. 3) They do good work - I have never had a problems with any service they have preformed! A+! Firestone tires are of a consistent good quality and they will honor warranty claims for mileage or road hazard issues. And all of the many oil changes, brake services, belt/ hose replacements, and alignments have been correct the 1st time; never a need to return for any reason related to their work.
Very professional, honest, and accommodating. I feel like I have a new vehicle after taking it there. I had a lot of work done and expressed my concern about having it back same day, and they were 2 hours early. I also asked for a detailed prioritization of what should be done in a budget and the sales associate spent a lot of time with me doing that. He also took me back to physically show me what the issues were. My first experience at firestone will definitely not be my last.
Brain and this crew are awesome. I have been coming to this Firestone location for about 10 years. Never have I had a bad experience or felt pressure to purchase something else. They are always honest and do an excellent job!!!! Customer service is excellent!!!!
Im literally closer to 2 other firestone but always prefer to come here even though its out of the way. If had some really bad experiences at the location by the Carlsbad mall and ever since the first time I went to this location its the only one Ill go to. Good, honest, quality service.
They are always helpful when you dont know what your car has they explain everything and show you what part has to be replaced. They need more employees so that people can get their car faster.

Unprofessional customer service, I came up there for an air pressure check, and one of the technicians got upset because I Parked in the wrong place. His remarks where “ Dog you can’t park there, they will get pissed” . I Disregarded the technician’s poor customer service and still requested to have my new set of tires air pressure checked. Service writer “Brian” looked at my front tires and refused to check my air pressure because there was minor edgewear on the front tires, however he failed to notice that there was a brand new set of tires installed on the rear of my vehicle. If this is the kind of customer service that is provided on the front end of a shop, I can’t imagine what is happening on the back end where my car is being worked on while I am not present. I will never bring my vehicles to Firestone in Vista ever, nor I recommend any one to visit this firestone location.
Helpful staff. Car was ready when they said it would be done. Tires were a better price than most other dealers. We were looking for SUV tires for an older car that isnt driven much.
Brian is always on top of it! He goes above and beyond and will make sure you feel taken care of. He will let you know what your car really needs and educates you on how it works!

I purchased tires for my vehicle and had them shipped to a recommended installer (Firestone Complete Auto Care). After the tires arrived, the installer said that they would not install them because they were not run-flat tires. I then had to make 2 extra trips to take the tires myself to another shop who would do the work.This should never have happened. I put all of the specific vehicle information into the system and both Tire Rack and Firestone Complete Auto Care knew which tires I ordered and the details of my car. There are several places this could have been fixed:1. If they would not install the tires they should not be presented as an option on Tire Rack2. If they were selected, once they knew the details of the car and tires and I set the appointment they should have flagged it3. If it got all the way to having the customer there with their car, they should have made an exception because of the earlier misses. They could have presented a waiver as an option.

This firestone location took care of all of my needs for both of my cars for months now. They are pleasant to deal with and gave me all the information I asked for. Brian has been the one thats been helping me out and hes been nothing but helpful.
First time visitor and I have to say I was impressed. No wait, got to stay in my car, monitors to watch what they were doing and really through explainations on what was happening. Nice.The only downside is the upsell during the visit. Its pretty strong. The extras are expensive and a lot of the time more than the oil change itself. Just keep saying no, you dont need any of it.

Ive taken several of my cars here over the past decade. The lifetime alignment is well worth it. I am only putting four stars vs. five as my newest car, they scratched one of my wheels and only told me about it, not offered me any compensation for the error. Compared to the other Firestone tires local to me in Oceanside, I still drive to this one for my tire and alignment issues specifically.

Overall great experience. I told them my problem earlier in the day & they checked everything out. To my surprise, my battery was fine & did not require replacing. So they did an oil change & I was on my way. The only issue I had with was that I was told they had time to take me right away & then was told it would be 90 mins with two others waiting.
When you need good tires, call first. If youve found the same tires elsewhere, they will match the price and do better in the warranty

Friendly staff and quick service! My car was in and out for an oil change,tire rotation and alignment without an appointment. There is a Walmart and Starbucks 2 min walk away if you wanted to burn a little time waiting for your vehicle.
These tools cant be bothered with appointments from their contracted partners like enterprise. They will explain to you why it is not in there best interest to help you. I have had similar problems trying to have an oil change done from them to. I was basically told to go to Walmart for oil change because they were busy with paying customers.
This location is LOW on Staff, Horrible at customer service & will CHARGE you more out the door then what you were originally given. To top it OFF, I ordered my tires from Tire Rack and they ordered me the wrong tires so in the end the WRONG tires were installed, But Fire stone never talked to me about my tires or told me anything about what kind they are, So I noticed a day later after that I had the wrong tires put on. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION !!!! Pick somewhere else !!!! I will NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!!!! So disappointed.

Made an appt online 8/13/19 for an alignment on my 2019 4Runner scheduled for the next day at 9am. It is new but I had just installed bilstein adjustable shocks to level the front 1.75” so it needs an alignment. I got a phone call right away to verify the appt. The salesman brought up the option for a lifetime alignment for $199. I told him about the modification I had just made and that I wasn’t sure that it would qualify for the lifetime because I “modified” the suspension. After hearing what I had done to it, he assured me that as long as it wasn’t more than a 3” lift, it wouldn’t be a problem.Cool. I show up 10 mins before my appt, the guy working takes my keys and checks out the truck. We talk about the options for alignment and he explains that because I “modified” the suspension, it isn’t possible to do the lifetime. Ok fine. That’s what I had originally figured but I told him that the employee that called me the afternoon before explained something different. So.. please make sure that you have training standards and all of your employees are on the same page.It’s now past my appt time and he wants to make sure that his machines have the correct alignment specs for this new 4Runner. Uh.. ok. I made the appt yesterday, so I’d hope that you would have done that before calling and confirming my appt for an alignment on a 2019 Toyota 4Runner. “Sorry for the delay I have to wait for the computer to come up to get the specs.” Really.. it’s now past my appt time of 9am and your store opened at 8am. Your machines aren’t ready over an hr after opening? He eventually comes out and explains that his machines do not have my specs... I just explained to him that this is a 2019 model that came out in late 2018. It is now middle of August and supposedly you don’t have the correct specs? On top of that this 5th generation of 4Runner has been around since 2010 model year... I just walked out. That just seems like a blatant lie.These people are untrained and lazy as a whole. Good for you if you left here with a positive experience. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

I have always dealt with Firestone in Oceanside with no issues. Oceanside has been very busy lately so a few weeks ago i had my car balanced and aligned in Vista only to feel no difference. I called today to have them re-do it and was told to bring it in by the assistant manager as a walk in. Once there, I was told they had no room and could not take me!! NEVER coming back here again and making sure no one I know comes back either! HORRIBLE SERVICE

These guys have been servicing my Lincoln for a couple years now Including tires and alignment. have never tried to up sell me. had them install new tires on my Cadillac SUV, along w Alignment and fuel injection cleaner, He then mentioned that they had a special on the additional services I had requested. Nice of Tim and the rest of the guys to look out for my bottom dollar and pass some savings onto their customers.
Manager was rude to me with no hint of professionalism and his employees were working on cars without car protection cloths or safety glasses. Truly deserves to be demoted/fired.

Firestone was watching out for you and your well being, by not putting unsafe tires on your vehicle. Do your homework and before you go blasting someone on social media, have your facts straight. This firestone is very good at what they do and Ive never had a problem with them. I work in the automotive industry so I know what Im talking about.
I like going to Firestone because they are a nationwide chain. Any Firestone dealership can bring up your vehicles history for reference and/or warranty work. I used to go to a major Sears auto center, but with Sears closing, I find Firestone to be a suitable replacement for me. Their free cellphone app is great and has many useful features, coupons, parking reminder takes a pic of where you parked, make an appointment thru your cellphone online to any Firestone dealer, download all service records based on phone number, add in service records from other shops, A++

The whole experience with Firestone has been costly and a nightmare. I would not recommend you wasting your time and money getting tires here. The alignment they did on my new tires was way off and ruined the tires. When talking to the manager he acknowledged the alignment was wrong but didnt want to do anything but charge more for new tires without prorating. They were rude and said nothing could be done. In other words, FU customer. They hire amateurs who couldnt align their way out of a paper bag. Bad service, bad product and bad management.

Great service! Came in for a Cylinder Misfire on my Mazda Tribute and had to change the coils and spark plugs. First time I came in Thomas was very helpful and welcoming. My phone had died and he lent me his phone charger so I would be able to call my husband in case of an emergency. I came in at 9:40am and left at 4:10pm (due to having to take my whole back side off to get to where they needed to which is totally not their faults) they ordered the coil for my car and it came in 15 minutes, they changed it, and I was on my way. My car was driving fine on my way home, however my coil misfired because of my spark plugs reaching the end of their usage time. I went in and scheduled an appointment with the Store Manager Brian for 8:00am this morning. He made sure to give me his card if I had any further questions or concerns even though it would be his day off. They quickly got us in and started working on it, within 15 mins they told us it was the spark plugs which made the new coil misfire. Since they have the warranty protection, if your car is still working improperly they will not charge for service so you will only pay for parts if needed. They said it would take a few hours but only took them 2. We ended up walking around Living Spaces furniture store to pass the time. Johnny helped us today and was very infomative very helpful as well. All the employees are polite and make sure you are aware of the whole process. They also make sure you are satisfied with the services you recieve. Their facility is clean, has a tv, coffee station, bathrooms, and small table and toys for children. I will definitely be coming back for any problems I have in the future. Great place.
