Is so far a great experience with the storage company. It is a safe and reliable place for our belongings. They have good hours and good security with passcodes and alarms. the facility is big enough to pull in a tractor trailer truck of any kind and I am very thankful for the storage unit we rented.. Chrissy at the Front Office was so friendly and very helpful. I was able to get in and out within 20 minutes. The facility is very clean and they put security at the top of the list. I would recommend the Vista Extra Space Storage location to anyone needing extra storage for their household goods.

Chrissy provided very friendly and helpful customer service over the phone to have a unit rented. She was very thorough in how she explained things to me, and she was very patient with me as I got information for her to put into her system during the process of getting the unit rented to me. I am very pleased with the service that I experienced.I am not from the area, so I have never been to the facility and cannot comment on the physical features of the location itself.

I previously rented a storage unit here in 2013. I didn’t bother to look anywhere else when I needed to rent a storage unit again. The facility is always clean, the staff is nice and they are serious about security. I rented my current unit online and it was very easy. However, I’m not thrilled that they raised the cost of my unit after just 4 months of renting. I’m sure it’s probably in the contract fine print but it’s not a good thing to do in such a short period of time.

With a move in to town and needing space to store my things during the “limbo” period, Extra Space Storage has made me feel right at home. Their renting process was quick and easy and their facilities are super clean. All of the staff that has helped me have created a very warm welcome. I will definitely be using Extra Space Storage for all of my storage needs.

My experience with extra storage has not been good . They bumped up the storage rate as if I was paying an apartment rent . Thats 1 .. 2nd then I made an online payment and was charged 6 times and they would not help me try to refund me the extra charges. I had to take it up with my bank . It took over a week to get back over $900 in over charges .... smh

Ive had a storage unit at this facility for five years. Rates have slightly increased once. Its been very well run and maintained. Ownership changed about a year or so ago, and it was seamless. The customer service is excellent. The rental unit is safe, clean, secure and the property is well maintained. Im very pleased with the service.

We’ve used this facility on Melrose many times in the past 14 years. Our first thought when we needed to prepare for another move was Extra Space in Vista,CA. The facility on Melrose is always clean, organized, the grounds always kept up. The staff, especially Manager, Chrissy Carey, are always gracious, helpful, friendly and quick to get our rental done. Security is on the top of our list for us-peace of mind=SECURE.. This storage facility is and always been the absolute best.

We love Extra Space Storage on North Melrose Dr. We have been customers with multiple units for years. We appreciate the cleanliness, accessibility and security of the facility. The staff is extra friendly and helpful. Chrissy in particular is a stellar professional with exceptional customer service skills. We always look forward to interactions with her.The only thing keeping me from rating as 5 star is there are a number of exterior lights out which we have reported a couple months ago. This poses a safety concern and hinders us from after hour access especially with the daylight savings time change. They really need to take care of this as soon as possible. (Thank you)

I’ve had three storage units in my lifetime, all different places and this one is by far the cleanest one. Always in tip top shape. They even take their COVID precautions seriously. I feel so safe here. That lady named Krissy (I think is how you spell it) is a hoot too. I would store my stuff here just because of her. She is very professional and personable.

Five stars for cleanliness and running a good operation but minus two for the outrageous annual rent hikes! Mine just went up $38.00 -- a full ten percent -- this week. I understand incremental rent increases but this is plain greed, especially in a time rife with economic challenges.

The staff was very helpful and took their time to give me different options in order to see what was best for me and my situation. Chrissy was friendly and made the process so much more easier for me. Being in the military I have had numerous storage units with different companies but this one is by far the most helpful.
