Ive been fortunate to live in many places around the world and I can honestly say that this shop has been the best experience Ive had with auto service. My Suburban had some issues with the breaks and the front axle. They quickly found the issues, gave me a no BS quote, and got right to work. Our family Suburban was complete in a couple hours with top quality work. They were easy to schedule service through their website and easy to communicate with. To top of their quality work and top notch customer service, they followed up a week later to check in to see how the vehicle is doing. Highly recommend anyone to take their vehicle there for all auto service needs.

I cant say enough about Ray and his team. They are simply the best! He treated our 137,000 mile 2008 Corolla beach car like a gem while replacing the alternator and recharging the A/C. They even replaced the radiator hose for free when they discovered it was too brittle.I love that they are so close by that I can walk over to pick up the car when theyre done. I recommend Ray to everyone who asks for a reliable, trustworthy repair shop.

From AC repair to mystery leaks, they were able to determine the problem, and fix with no fuss. They even sent pictures of what exactly needed repair so I knew what I exactly what was being done to my truck. Waipio Auto Repair turned a harrowing experience to a Wow, Im so happy!My power steering on my Lexus was moaning and groaning even after another Lube and go facility claimed to check and top all levels of the fluids. Waipio Auto Repair found leaks in my power steering system probably caused by rodents that left their calling card - droppings. Changing the system took a lot of know how plus thinking of my pocket book. They used their knowledge and skills and got the repairs done while helping me get around without a car!! Kudos to them!!

Our regular mechanic (family friend) is retiring, so we needed a good and honest mechanic near us. We found Waipio Auto Repair on YELP, and reviews were promising. Service Advisor Ray was very professional. He responded quickly and was able to accommodate us bringing in my wifes Acura on the date we requested. Ray called us promptly with an estimate before starting any work, and they were able to repair the power passenger side window and oil pan leak in less than a day. We have found our new go to repair shop!

Our borrowed car was making a clunking sound that needed to be diagnosed and repaired quickly as we were departing for Kaua’i in two days. Ray and his crew squeezed us into their busy schedule first thing in the morning. They drove the car, identified the problem and corrected it. Their billing was more than fair. I highly recommend Waipio Auto Repair.

They return my car in worse condition than when I brought it in. Also, they didn’t want to help me resolve the problem after they messed up my car. Do not go here because the quality is very poor, it was only in frustration and aggravation.

Absolutely recommend Waipio Auto Repair. We purchased an island beater for our college-aged son. Of course it needed repairs. We tried calling numerous auto repair shops for service only to find out they dont service mini coopers or they would ghost us. We are so thankful to have found Waipio Auto Repair. They not only repaired the mini at 1/2 the price quoted by the local dealership service center, but followed up with us to check on how the car was running after the repairs. Ray-Mahalo for fixing my car!Battery light on in my dash. Ok change battery...battery light still on. Look on YouTube and it’s electrical system more specifically the alternator so I call Waipio Auto Repair and Ray says he is booked but can fit me in the afternoon. Let me tell you they worked late that night to finish my car and it wasn’t easy (for me if I did it) they had move the radiator to get the alternator out and put the new one in. And did I mention they replaced my radiator fan that stopped working too. Great team there at Waipio Auto Repair so what are you waiting for give them/Ray a call!

Very helpful and understanding

I can not say enough about how satisfied I am with the quality of service that Ray and his team provide. I brought my car in to have the rear brakes replaced and a possible coolant leak. Within an hour of dropping my car off, Ray called to tell me that they had found the source of the leak and diagnosed the problem. My car was ready for pickup on the same day after having the radiator and brakes replaced. I know finding parts for my vehicle is not easy but Ray always makes sure that I’m taken care of. I appreciate their flexibility with taking my car in at the last minute for service and for getting me back on the road the same day.

I called in about the problem I am having with my vehicle. Ray was so nice and helpful. He explained what could be the cause and called me back with prices. I feel good about bringing my vehicle in to be repaired.

Great service. I called and they took my car in for oil change right away. They checked the vehicle and notified me of changing ac filters. They ordered the part and it was fixed within a couple hours.

Ever since I met Jesse and waialae at waipio my auto woes, have been taken care of, 5star service and workmanship, for me my family and friends were happy to part of waipio auto repair ohana, much mahalos for all they do!

This place makes me disgusted. I took my car here in May 2016. They diagnosed it and supposedly fix the problem. A week later the problem happened again. I take it back to get it fix because they never fixed the problem in the first place. Took 2 weeks just to replace a hose and turns out, supposedly a hose that was worth $100. Rip off!!! And the problem still is occurring after giving them over a grand. This place is garbage. Overpriced!! Jesse, the manager was rude. He wasnt trying to help fix the car. Save yourself some time and money. Dont go here!!! I rate this zero stars if I could!!!

Had similar experience as the review below would also rate 0 stars if possible. This guy has absolutely no integrity. Installed a cheap part that broke within a month, but was charged same cost as an OEM part. Repair bill over $1,000 was $ completely down the drain. Problem wasnt fixed AT ALL and this shop wouldnt refund. I expect this place will go out of business when they operate so dishonestly.Avoid this place like its the zika virus..

Had a sagging skid plate and they were the nearest auto shop, they took my car in right away and repaired it at no charge to me, in-and-out in 10 min!
