Great atmosphere and service. I am a rookie cigar smoker. They made me feel very comfortable for my first time smoking.

The professionalism of the owner and select staff members is very poor. This is just my opinion but as far as the quality of black professionals that St. Charles is trying to attract, this establishment is not apart of the welcoming committee. Unfortunately the customer service and professionalism gets better when traveling across the bridge.

So I’ve been meaning to get over to the Tinderbox for a long time. I find finally made it the other day and I was not disappointed. The selection of cigars in the walk-in humidor is excellent and so are the prices. While you can probably find better prices online if you are searching for bulk orders of your favorite stick, when you want to try out a variety of sticks to find your next favorite, you can’t beat walking into a local establishment like this and grabbing a bunch of singles. They have great sales too, as I ended up getting an additional cigar for free with my purchase. If you love cigars and are looking for a great selection in the Southern MD area, there really is only one place to go.

Just moved here a few months ago and was disappointed at the low number of cigar shops. I walked into this place with low expectations and was definitely surprised. Their selection is pretty large, their prices are fair, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is extremely helpful and seem to be happy to assist with even the most novice questions. I havent even used their lounge yet, but it looks nice and the people occupying it seem to be enjoying themselves every time Im in there. Highly recommended for any cigar smoker of any level.

I despise smoke, but my girlfriends insisted that I join for a Friday night chill session. It was Smoky, but I stayed and enjoyed the DJ & the live band 🔥 The pizza was amazing (chicken & onions). The staff was friendly. AND I learned that the owner is launching the first black owned cigars from the East Coast (Six). Get you some if you smoke and head over to give the place a try... It might be your cup of tea or brand of smoke🍹

Was good but apparently the workers in there dont know what they sell. I wanted some Tatianas cigars cherry and groovy grape he told me they dont make those. So the tinder box should educate the employees. Because they give him customers false information. Shaking my head

Nice adult environment with a great atmosphere. It was tight night so it was a bit quiet but if music was going it would have received 4.5 stars. The drinks were good and strong but expensive as hell. As a non smoker I was introduced to a very good and mild cigar that was very smooth and pleasant in smell and taste. Overall I had a great time with some guy friends and as a woman, I felt very comfortable there.

The hubs and I enjoyed the outdoor seating. Perfect night for it, too! The young lady that served us was quick and efficient.

I’m fairly new to the cigar game. Tinder Box was my second shop after returning from a trip to NC this past winter. I must say it left a lasting impression on me! Very well stocked as well as having a staff and owner who are very well versed on the selection on site as well as what’s out there for future buys that they may not have on hand at the time you visit. The atmosphere in the smokers lounge is on point and the crowd is a nice mixture. This has become my personal “go to” location on the MD side of the Wilson Bridge...

I did not expect so much selection when I walked in. There was also a socially distanced seating area to enjoy a smoke as well as a tent setup outside. It was my first visit and one of the employees walked me around to show me their offerings.

Always a great time... the staff and environment are great for a relaxing experience. Definitely one of my favorite places.

Had stayed away due to a disheveled cigar side of the establishment when I stopped in looking for some sticks to by about a year ago. That hasnt changed for the most part. Went back by invite and stayed for several hours on a Friday. Has a nice club atmosphere without a dance floor. Live band started around 10pm. DC gogo band style entertainment. Friendly crowd and hostess. I can say I had a good time. Large selections of cigars in the walk in humidor. I will be back.

Older crowd but that was welcome on our visit. Great HVAC system to clear out the smoke while you at the facility. You will still leave smelling like cigars though so beware. Great cigar price points and they also had some whiskey specials which made this a cool after dinner spot.

Fantastic cigar selection and very helpful staff. Just wish the ventilation for a little bit better. The lounge is very comfortable and they have a fully stocked bar with a great selection of whiskeys scotch etc.

Nice cigar and pipe tobacco shop. However they have sample jars of pipe tobacco displayed that they no longer carry, somewhat disappointing. Good selection of cigars. Pricing is average on all their products.

Although I am considered a novice cigar smoker, I know enough to ask questions about issues I have had with cigars purchased from Tinderbox. I just recently purchased 8 cigars and noticed that the wrappers crack during smoking. I noticed before and thought maybe it’s one my three humidors. I could believe that all three were damaging my cigars. My recent visit had me sweating inside the walk-in humidor. This should not happen. I’ve also noticed green spots on my cigars which from research is possibly mold due to fluctuations temperature in the walk-in humidor. Cigars can be expensive which I’m finding out but it’s definitely expensive when you have to throw away cigars you can’t smoke due to some sort of neglect. Please check the humidor. There’s an issue damaging a good product.

This place has a crazy number of choices.One of the few places to get quality pipe tobacco this side of the Potomac.The cigar selection and humongous humidor are impressive. They even have a top shelf bar inside and entertainment in the evenings. Lots of paraphernalia for your pipe or cigar aficionado.

Treated my husband and brother in law terrible. Upon entering this establishment at the 10 o’clock they were meet with a very rude server who did not introduce herself but instead told them we close at 12.From there they ordered some drinks only to have them slammed down on the table and told the privy of the drinks at that very moment.Now I don’t know what kind of training that was given to this young lady but that is no way to treat a paying customer that is supporting your business.Please don’t bother going here seems like the staff can pick and choose who to give good service to.

First time at this spot, great selection of cigars and reasonably priced drinks. Friday & Saturday they have a live band. The only thing is that if it gets too crowded it gets extremely hot. Other than that its a cool spot to smoke.

Great place to enjoy a smoke and drink with friends. Well stocked walk in humidor and even live music on Fridays. Staff is friendy and knowledgeable. Lockers are also available. Comfortable seating includes leather sofas and many high top tables as well as a bar. Servers are pleasant and personable.

Always a good selection of cigars and pipe tobacco. Awesome humidor with tons of variety. Nice atmosphere for someone who wants to come in from a smoke and a chat. Kind of like a Cheers tavern from the sitcom. Always a friendly crowd with a expert advice behind the counter. So much nicer now after the move from the mall.

Asked why prices were higher than other places, they lied, poor customer service. Polite but I prefer honesty and true customer service. I wont go back and Ill tell others to do the same.

I attended the outdoor concert on Saturday night. It was well organized. The band was amazing, and they had drinks outside for sell that was very strong. I will attend again.

I only take away a star due to the fact that when they have a sizable crowd, their ventilation doesnt appear to be up to par. Makes it hard to enjoy the cigar that you came to smoke... but, great bar, the bartenders are nice, the little fella in the HUGE walk-in humidor is VERY knowledgeable, and a very cool guy, and everyone in there is all around good folks!

The Tinder Box is a good place to go and chill and listen to live music, watch live shows and get a good cigar. The pizza place around the corner always is good when you need some food to go with the drinks and cigar. There is always an event and something going on so follow them to see what is going on!

The lounge is nice, the fact they have a bar is great. But humidor small and too cluttered with boxes sitting in the ground. No broom to walk in the walk in humidor. Decent selection

To be so well known and popular, this place has horrible ventilation. Even when the crowd is small.

My favorite cigar lounge in the D.C. area. The walk-in humidor stays well stocked. The cigars are well taken care of and has good prices. The staff hasnt let me down. Neither has the current owner or past owner.

Great selection of Cigars. If you can think of a Cigar they have it and in multiple sizes. Great Cigar atmosphere and service was top notched. The bar had a great selection and the bartender Tiffany was amazing. I drank the Moscow mule in the hugh pineapple mule cup and was very satisfied. About 15 of my Brothers of the leaf BOTL drove from different parts of Maryland some as far as an hour in a half to check out the Box and we had a great time. We met up with some SOTL and enjoyed PSSITA with them. Shot out to Tiffany the Bartender you did your thing young lady. Five Stars!!

I brought three cigars this after noon, and lit one after I went home and the cigar was dry and hard cracking. I remember the walk-in humidor was very hot. It was so hot and cramp I hurry up and pick out some old faithful Fuenta 858. I dont see what all the fuss about Tinderbox.

A very nice spot to go for a smoke. They offer membership and storage. The cigar selection is amazing!!
