Helpful, low pressure dealership with informed salespeople and good service. Trey is an excellent salesperson, Im a happy customer.
They are a five star dealer never a problem with the parts that I ordered. They are remodeling now there’s major construction going on and they’re still managing to stay open awesome because there’s no other Volvo dealer I’d rather go to with the careThat I received from Volvo Cars Of Walnut Creek
I can’t comment enough on how great the experience was at Volvo Walnut Creek. My husband and I enjoyed working with Mary McKinney & Jason Krupa. They made every effort to make sure we got the car we were looking for. They were very thorough, patient and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend getting your next car at Volvo Walnut Creek.
I had a wonderful experience with Greg Schiefer who helped me trade in my old Chevy Volt and depart with a lovely XC40. I normally really dread car dealerships and getting strung along by salesmen, but Greg was super fast and no BS, I would definitely buy with his help again in the future.Thank you Greg, I love my car. :)
Tori Caria was amazing! She helped me through the whole process, got me a great deal and she went out of her way to make the process convenient for me (texts/emails) whatever I needed. I HIGHLY recommend talking to Tori if you are looking for a new Volvo!
Buying/leasing process was easy and working with Elyas was great!
DO NOT USE FOR MAINTENANCE OR SERVICE. If you plan to buy a Volvo, know that you can not rely on their maintenance or service department. DO NOT BUY A Volvo if you cant manage a trip to the next closest Volvo service department. (Closest one to Walnut Creek is in San Leandro). We took our Volvo in for a regular scheduled 30k maintenance and for an entire year it was in and out of their service department with problems stemming from the various work they performed (power steering wasnt working, wheel noise when driving on freeway, oil leak after they replaced a part to fix the wheel that didnt end up fixing the wheel...to name a few). In addition, the seatbelt had a recall on it and when I took it in to get fixed the service manager said there was no fix for it, you just have to ensure every time you buckle it is not hung up on anything. After each visit I ended up having additional problems with the car so I decided to take it to Mckevitt Volvo in San Leandro. Their Service Department ended up fixing at least 5 problems on parts that Volvo of Walnut Creek replaced unnecessarily or incorrectly. They also replaced my seatbelt due to the recall. The drive to San Leandro is not convenient. We will not be buying another Volvo due to no reliable maintenance in our local area of Walnut Creek. The management at Volvo of Walnut Creek is useless, they tell your whatever they need to to get you out their door.
This was not the first Volvo dealership I went to but it was where we ended up buying our new family car. Greg was very helpful in explaining the XC90 opposed to Volvo Palo Alto. We test drove the car, went through the financing process, and we’re out within two hours.
Charles Lawson at this dealership helped me get a very good deal on the XC40 Recharge all electric vehicle and I was very pleased with the level of customer care. If you are in the market for a new electric vehicle or Volvo go see Charles.
Helen was super professional. Great asset to the brand, and Walnut Creek Volvo.
Michelle Domingo, my Service Advisor, was very patient and listened to all my inputs when dropping off the vehicle. She fixed the issues articulated and followed up promptly after the service to ensure that all my requests were addressed. The car was cleaned along with the service and the communication was great. Would come here again for my next service. I previously went to the Volvo of SF but I was impressed with the quality of service and how Volvo of Walnut Creek delivered the car squeaky clean (as it was quite dirty when I dropped it off)
The car buying experience was great. We did not haggle over price and we did not feel we were being taken for a ride.Online does not do justice to the Denim Blue color. I did not like it online, but loved it in person!Still learning about all the cars functions, but loving it!
Disappointing experience with sales department.Back in February, we signed the contract for overseas delivery but the travel didnt happen because of international restrictions so the car was delivered directly to the dealership.During those months, we received no updates regarding the status of the delivery, next steps or any information at all. I couldnt get through to the associate I worked with, left messages which were never addressed. At some point we had to go to the dealership to find out what is the status of our order and had to spend a good hour there trying to get information. At last, the car arrived. We were going to finance it with Volvo but their conditions werent great so we decided to finance with our bank instead. Though the process was fast and easy from our banks side and the check was sent to the dealership the next day and arrived the following day, the dealership couldnt LOCATE the check for another two days so they wouldnt release the car. Finally, they found the check and we came to sign the papers and pick up the car. The first part went smoothly but when it came to the car, we discovered that it has some surface scratches that went unnoticed by the associates. Now the car needs to stay at the dealership for two more days so they work on the scratches and we need to make another trip to them to pick it up.I didnt expect such level of service from Volvo.
I always have an enjoyable experience when I need servicing on my vehicle. My service advisor (Grant) is the best and goes the extra mile to make sure Im completely happy with the service and my overall experience! The service I get from the entire staff is A1 and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this dealer to anyone inquiring!
Do not bring your car here for service if you want it done correctly or in a timely manner. I have now brought my V60 to this dealership because the engine is knocking 4 times. The first two times the issue was not resolved. The third time the issue was temporarily resolved, but it is now having the exact same issue and it is back at the dealership. My car has now been at the dealership awaiting work for 4 days under a month and they cannot tell me what work needs to be done or when it will be done. In total my car has been at this dealership for approximately 2 months for this issue. My service manager repeatedly tells me he will call me with updates and then fails to do so. When I dropped my car off I was told they do not have loaner cars available but that I could get a car from Enterprise and they would cover half the cost (they said my cost would be about $20/day). I was also told that if my car would be in the shop for more than 3 days they would set me up with a loaner. I went to Enterprise to get a loaner, but they did not have any cars available, so I left expecting to get a loaner from the dealership if it would take more than 3 days to fix my car. If I had gotten a rental from enterprise I would now be on the hook for a a bill of $520.It has now been almost a month and the dealership cannot tell me when I will have my car back and they refuses to give me a loaner car.
VERY poor and unprofessional service when trying to buy a car!Update: Got a Response from the Owner asking me to call to discuss but no name or number. When I called the dealership they claimed they did not know who would have responded and could not connect me to the owner who may have replied. Evidence again for a 1 star review.A week later, still no response from the dealer. Guess they read the reviews but really dont care about how the customer feels about their service. Caveat Emptor, Buyer Beware!
I called beforehand if the headlight bulbs can be replaced free if I purchased it. I asked the same question when I took my Volvo. In both times the answers were a yes. When I got the billing, it showed more than a $100 for labor.I let my complaint known again to management via the dealers website Contact Us box. After more than a week, it remains unanswered. After years coming for purchase & service, things have seemingly changed. Also, familiar faces are no longer seen.
I searched out a specific year. I went and viewed, agreed to buy & got to the dealership as it opened to secure the buy.The GM went against their word & policy and secured the car for somebody else. Thank God! Theyre a rip off! Got a much better Volvo, better value, and you cant trust them!
This review has been long overdue! We can’t express how happy and impressed we are with our sales person, Anand. From the beginning he was super helpful and patient. He took very good care of us during these pandemic times. He got us in and out of the dealer fairly timely once we agreed on everything via phone/email. Post sales, Anand walked us through every detail and feature the car has. I love his his approach of no pressure and being very communicative. Highly recommend Anand and Walnut Creek Volvo.
Sales team was helpful and respectful. They were flexible with us coming from South Bay on a few different occasions. Not a pushy environment. Thanks Jason and the rest of the team for the awesome buying experience. See you all again in 10 years!!
Had my car serviced here and had a terrific experience. Paolo Fiorenza was very helpful and we will definitely be coming back here for our vehicle in the future. Thank you Paolo and crew!
I wanna thank Mike for helping us out with getting our vehicle appraised for insurance. He went above and beyond what Id expect of a customer service agent, and made a bad situation much more bearable.Oh and the lobby is clean and the cars on sale are shiny, not much out of the norm in terms of being a dealership.
Fantastic place to buy a car
I own three Volvos and have been a loyal client for over 25 years. The dealership has changed from being family owned to an impersonal outfit with high turnover. Most of the individuals who have worked there over the years are gone. It is not as easy to deal with someone. Phone calls are not returned. Unfortunately, the last of the old loyal employee who has provided my family with beyond outstanding service (Paolo) is leaving.
Friendly service and sales staff not pushy. Good inventory and selection
I really hope that we end up enjoying our new XC90 T8 Inscription, because the process of getting it has been an absolute nightmare (I still dont have it as I type this). Were coming off of 6+ years of Audi Q7s and wanted to move to the hybrid, which Volvo is the only current option. We had picked out our car Thursday morning- didnt need a test drive as we had done that earlier this year anticipating the end of current Q7 lease, so we knew this was what we wanted and had already factored in all of the finance stuff- we were ready to sign. We had a trade-in, which so far both BMW and Audi had already appraised same-day, and we had full quotes for new vehicles within an hour from both dealerships in the area.In comes Volvo: Thursday we couldnt get in- understandable in the current climate. We set an appointment for Friday- this got canceled two hours before due to an audit - more on this later. So now we have a Saturday appointment- 10am, the first one, so this should be fast! Turns out Ryan had a personal issue and wouldnt be in, unfortunate and we hope hes doing well, so we were given another sales person. This was apparently done with zero hand-off, leading me to believe Ryan wasnt really great either. We were starting from scratch: they had no idea what car we were coming to see, they didnt know we needed a trade-in appraised, they didnt know Ryan had already given us all of the lease numbers, etc.The car wasnt even pulled out and ready for us to look at- it was at the back of the lot behind other cars. Now starts the fun sales process- pulled around on the trade-in (expected, but unfortunate nonetheless), lease numbers didnt match up what Ryan had provided, etc. We finally get that sorted- were now at hour 3. Now the credit application starts. For BMW and Audi, this has historically been 5-10 minutes for a form, and 5-10 minutes for the green light. Somehow this process took over an hour at Volvo. All said and done we were there for almost 6 hours, and we thought wed be going in to sign and be done in under 2 hours given thats how it would have been had we decided to go with the BMW X5 or another Audi Q7 (both dealerships had paperwork ready to go, credit done, 5 minutes of signatures).HERES THE KICKER: after all of this we couldnt even take the car home- it needed a software update. Instead of having service perform the 45-minute service (getting this information from Jason the sales manager) while we were twiddling our thumbs for 5 of the 6 hours we were there, they decided to make us leave without our car. So here we are on Tuesday, still no car. We had an appointment at 12, but its now 12:07 and still nothing - sounds petty but at this point a TON of my time as been wasted by these guys.Bonus round: Remember the audit that canceled our Friday appointment? It was a COVID-19 safety audit. This entire time were stuck in the dealership with all of the employees that dont think its necessary to wear a mask during a global pandemic. Never mind the signs they have posted all over the dealership saying theyre required. Or the state laws requiring them. My wife and I volunteer with elderly people at risk, so this was very poor public safety practice at best and maliciously ignorant at worst. So that audit went really well, didnt it? Or it never happened.
City Safety PROBLEMIve had my XC60 since late November, and I love it; however the City Safety feature is causing me some grief. Every once in awhile... a few times in the past 2 weeks, it kicks in for absolutely no reason. Sometimes I might be 4 feet from the car ahead of me and BANG, it jams on the brakes. The other day I was accelerating off a light with no one around me and it stopped me in the middle of the intersection. My windshield was spotless and since there wasnt anyone in front of me, there wasnt any foggy exhaust to trip up the system. Ive had it to the dealer twice: they tell me there is no problem, and the system isnt showing any error codes. Ive spoken to the parts manager and hes at a loss; Ive asked them to document everything, because one of these days Im bound to get rear-ended. Any suggestions out there? Has anyone else experienced this?Hidradenitis SuppurativaI have the same problem with my 2011 XC60 and Volvo Walnut Creek cannot fix it, and gave me an unsafe car to drive. Instead of doing the right thing and incurring the expense of replacing the faulty systems, they said its your problem. Thanks Volvo. You havent heard the last of me!Denise Ransom
Helen Flowers was the BEST sales person we could have ever asked for. She took her time with us, answered all our questions and gave us insight into things we didnt even think about. By the end of the day we knew we had made the right decision to buy a Volvo. We cannot say enough good things about Helen and our time at Volvo of Walnut Creek. Also, Ben in financing was a delight to work with. He explained the contract to me in great detail and made me feel comfortable that I knew all the numbers.
It was a nice experience, I highly recommend it.
Steve Carlton did a great job explaining the different options to me so I can make my decision. Once I’ve made it, he worked hard to get me the exact car that I want. There was no pressure at all, which I liked very much. He gave me updates when needed, and answered all my emails (there were many) without delay.
Service department was a bit lacking, or maybe just the guy I got. His statements were unclear, I was charged for things he didn’t get permission for and he lied about some of the warranty work done. At least the service report had details.
Best experience at a dealership I have ever had. Tori was super nice and extremely helpful!
Internet Sales Manager, Steve Carlton, made every aspect of the experience transparent and clear. He offered himself as an expert rather than a salesperson allowing me to consider a number of options so that I could make a choice that suited me best even if he earned less money in the process. Finance Manager Ben Pun also made the closing experience simple and painless.
The team here is fantastic. We brought in our xc90 after emailing about an issue. They turned it around in a day, all fixed up.The location is also great, just across from a Bart station. This is really great for dropping off your car. They also had loaners available but I didnt want to bother. Thanks again yall!
The staff is very warm, friendly, and communicative. They kept me updated and were very professional. Paolo discovered that we still had a service covered on the warranty which was an added bonus. The Volvo is purring like a kitten now.! They take great care of their customers. Lovely experience.
Bruce, the Manager here, is SO RESOURCFUL. He REALLY knows his business. He also really supports his customers AND his staff. He was generous in making a sale work, and super fast on his feet. The whole staff are VERY professional, as well. Tori, who was my salesperson was incredibly courteous and hard working.Elyes was also smart, fast and hard working.
The customer service of William Marks and Walnut Creek was outstanding! The dealership was very welcoming and the service was excellent all throughout the buying experience. I also appreciated the GM willing to introduce himself and assist with the process. I also appreciated the no pressure approach from the sales department to the finance department. It helped to ease my decision to acquiring my first Volvo. Thank you William, Ben and Bruce for the world class service!
The best Volvo service department in the Bay. Shout out to Grant for running such a customer service focused team.
An incredibly pleasant experience buying a used car here! We were helped by Tori and Elyes, both extremely professional, smooth process from beginning to end. Highly recommend!
Victoria (Tori) and her team at Volvo Walnut Creek were very accommodating and easy to work with. I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of or hounded to make a decision. They fielded all of our questions and offered great insight into what makes Volvo great.
Had a wonderful experience purchasing my first Volvo, the XC40 R-Design, with the help of Victor and Bruce. Victor was extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of the vehicle, walking me through each feature in detail. Throughout the purchasing process, Bruce stated everything in very clear and easy to understand terms. Both Victor and Bruce were very friendly, easy to talk to, and made the experience fun and enjoyable. I ended up with the exact car I wanted, and much sooner than I thought I would be able to get it. I would absolutely recommend Volvo Cars Walnut Creek to my friends and family for a hassle free car buying experience. Now everywhere I go people want to check out my car, and I am happy to show it off!
Friendly, informative, straightforward staff. Ryan Daliva considered our needs, provided vehicle options that met our criteria. And the Volvo loyalty discount is a definite plus. This is our 3rd vehicle purchased from you. Says a lot about our confidence in you. The comforts & amenities of your customer lounge were a plus, too.
Great sales staff. Very competitive pricing. Sales staff Jay Hite was incredibly kind and great efforts to help me to find the car what I want it. Sales manager Steve was a great asset in facilitating purchase, even though I did not purchase car at this time, but definitely I will be back there when I want to buy Volvo. There is Five Stars staff in Volvo Walnut Creek. Thank you.
Beware, this place has a sleezy side. Before agreeing to buy my car, I took it to an independent mechanic for inspection. He reported a small hole in the front air suspension ($2,500 to replace). When I returned to Volvo Walnut Creek, they were outraged and denied any hole and blamed the independent mechanic for making it up. I trusted them (dont do this) and when I drove it home to my regular mechanic, he pointed out the same problem. Thats why I think Volvo Walnut Creek has a sleezy side. Also, the owners manual was missing from my vehicle and they sales person and sales manager said theyd find it before I drove it off the lot. Before I drove off, I checked, and they said theyd just mail it to me. I thought that would be fine. Six months and five voicemails later, they wont return my call and are shirking their responsibility to mail me the owners manual. If I order one, itll cost me $100 new. Again, this is why I think this place has a sleezy side. Buyer beware, they are not looking out for you, and dont believe their word.
Went in to the parts dept bought parts over $800.00 in parts that where marked up $200.00 more then a other parts places. But all and all they had it in stock.
Nice experience all around, pleasant people, quick turn around, loaner and took an extra step during the service to secure a radar sensor for me. Ill be back in a year for next service !
Sales personal nice and helpful. But, when my wife picked up the T8, the used car department had switched the wheels that were on the SUV when she bought it. The wheels were switched while they were replacing the tires, now she is getting different stories. Sounds to me like they are trying to cover for their mistake. Somehow they also managed to put two hundred miles on the car in the days while prepping it for her. I would strongly caution anyone to keep their eye on the service department.
Paulo and maintenance crew are friendly and attentive. Our car maintenance check and recall part replacement was completed in a timely manner.
Excelente costumer service
Chip Young, my Service Advisor did an outstanding job in answering all of my concerns. Chip even had a senior technician take a diagnostic test ride so they could fix the issues I was having. Chip kept me advised on when my car would be ready for pickup. I really appreciated Chip following up with me to make sure that I was totally satisfied. And I am totally satisfied.
The Service Department even had my information when I called in to make the first service maintenance appointment. Joana was very courteous and had all the information ready when I arrived. Paolo was very kind and thorough with my car. The courtesy car was ready, I did not have to spend a long time waiting. I was called to be notified on the progress. Really appreciated the kindness and thoughtfulness, very needed in todays fast pace life.Update: Second Maintenance Appointment. They are always very courteous, super friendly, some knows me already, so makes the experience much pleasant. Paolo as always so cheerful and with all the answers. Thanks so much for the great service.
Ryan Daliva was quite knowledgeable about the cars and friendly. He made the process quite easy. I appreciate the amicable financial process with Ben as well and am happy with the purchase deal. A clean facility with lots of great cars and service and sales staff.
Great salemen. For me a young guy in search of a used 4 wheel drive vehicle I found their cars overpriced and weak in power.
Tori answered all of my questions and let me test drive the cars I wanted, she was very patient with me. Bruce took his time explaining everything financial to me and it was extremely helpful. I’ve never had such a positive experience at a dealership before, they both made the experience positive and peaceful.
Service is decent to exceptional based on the person you get. The place needs a facelift for real. I leased XC90 from this location for three years. They asked me to get optional coverage for $5000 to cover damaged when you return the car. I recommend getting this as this covered by damages when I returned the car and I didn’t have to pay anything out of the pocket.I loved the new Volvos. I switch to Tesla else I would not have returned my Volvo. I debated for the longest time. Waiting for an all electric Volvo to come out.
Mary our salesperson was wonderful and did a great job showing us all the available configurations to help us decide and locate the matching vehicle. Communication was good even during a busy time for the dealership. When the vehicle arrived Mary took the time to go over everything about the vehicle which was very helpful even though she had recently been out due to a medical issue. Due to shipping issues our vehicle was delayed several times, Thanks to to Mary and Bruce for providing us a loaner vehicle to make it easier.
No fuss no muss. Car was exactly as I ordered it. I appreciated the tutorial on how to set up the car. Things have come a long way since my last Volvo!
Unresponsive and unprofessional. I submitted an inquiry on a vehicle. I am actually a very interested and strong buyer or I was until this happened. What do I get? An email days later from someone called Mary McKinney who says she will get back to me. Did not even address my inquiry and questions in my contact, I subsequently reply with a few questions about the vehicle no replies. Days go by and nothing happens. Then the following week I get a text/sms message with a confirmation for a test-drive and meeting with Mary designated as my Sales Person. A phone number is also provided in the text in case I needed to cancel the appointment I did not make.I promptly call the number to speak to Mary and she is not in. But the attendant A lady who picked up the call apparently had my details on screen as she proceeded to confirm my bogus appointment. I corrected her by saying I called to speak to Mary and that I never agreed to a 1pm appointment on a Saturday and I had questions about a Vehicle I was interested in purchasing as I am a cash buyer looking for a quick sale. I asked for a purchase order to include taxes so I can see an itemized list of fees so I can pay for the vehicle. Also wanted the dealerships bank wire details so I can get that started when all was negotiated and looked okay on paper.I was told, Mary will get back to me. A day went by and no call or contact. So I am done waiting and wanted to share my experience with other buyers. I will look elsewhere for a vehicle. A company that does not pay attention to its customers, potential or realized is not a company to do business with. Imagine actually buying a vehicle here and having questions or issues. If they cannot handle a simple straight-forward easy sale then anything else will be a waste of your time.
Anthony was so helpful friendly and he was great help. I love the xc60 sears, options and handling...Bruce the manager is super nice and a pleasure to work with...if you can give Volvo a try..your gonna love it as soon as you get in those seats.. wow
Volvo of Walnut Creek, CA is the best dealership Ive known. Alan Pierce at Volvo service is a rock star, he takes care of car, treats it like his own car and provides excellent customer service. Thank You!!
Alan was very professional and went above and beyond to make sure I was driving a safe car. He was compassionate and caring and you just dont see that too often these days at car dealerships! Highly recommend Volvo Walnut Creek. *****
My husband was a mechanic, for Lawrence Volvo, many years ago. I know for a fact, that this Co. is one of the best dealerships around. These are the safest cars on the road, anywhere!!! If you want to live, after a bad accident, buy a VOLVO!!We had a Volvo, and it lasted us over 30yrs.And, it was a used car, (previously owned) as they say, now a days. So I would rate this place a 5star * * * * *, for everything. Management, employees, courtesy, honesty, and most of all, the knowledge that you are in the safest car in the world.
Professional manner of all employees and their actions to make each customer satisfied with honest prompt responses. Comfortable customer waiting area. Appreciate the Wi-Fi as it allowed me to continue working as i waited for my car service to complete.
Tori was of no help to us. She had to check the dealers own website for simple things that our other sales rep knew in San Leandro Mckevitt. Ended up buying from them instead. She was nice and all but we just needed answers and wanted someone with better energy..
The service tech in Paolo Fiorenza was very prompt in assisting me before the team shut down for their annual holiday luncheon. He also helped to expedite my situation for a very quick turnaround, helping me avoid a downed car over the holidays. Couldnt of asked of a better customer experience with the Volvo Service Crew in Walnut Creek!
It was hassle free. I went through the Costco Auto Buying program. Mary McKinney contacted me the next day. Even though I told her that I was a couple of months away from actually purchasing she still worked with me to ensure that I got everything I wanted. We live in Roseville so my husband and I took the train in and Mary picked us up from the BART station. Ben, the Finance Manager was great too. Usually the Finance Managers are pushy and unpleasant, but he wasn’t. I had a budget that I wanted to stick to and Ben and Mary worked hard to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted all while staying within my budget. We’ve purchased several cars before and this was by far the BEST experience I’ve ever had.
EVERYTHING! Alex was a wonderful sales person who provided us with all the info and was not trying to up sell us on any particular car or model. He took the time to explain each of the features. They gave me the payment I wanted without going back and forth!
Lawrence Volvo Service retains that family-owned, small-town feel in the way they deliver service. When I bring my car in for service, I feel like Im talking to a friend and not a corporate-trained talking head. They dont pressure me into service or parts that I dont need, and sometimes even have common sense solutions that save me money. The whole experience is natural and friendly.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership which is now no longer Lawrence Volvo and is under new ownership. In mid 2012, I purchase a brand-new SUV and almost immediately complained repeatedly about issues with the transmission and a jarring sensation that occurred when I went from park to drive or reverse to drive. These issues went on for four years and every time I took the vehicle in for repair, they could not replicate what I was describing and would tell me it was because I wasnt coming to a complete stop when I was in reverse and went to change to drive. In addition to the fact that the car ran improperly, it also add faulty brakes which I replaced at least once per year. I was told by he same representative from their service department that it was fairly customary to replace the brakes this often. Clearly not true. Four years after complaining about my transmission issues, they were finally able to replicate the issue after i drove in and was able to show them right when I drove into the service driveway. After apparently needing to get permission from Volvo Corporate to replace the transmission, they did so but charged me a $200 deductible and made me feel like they were doing me a favor for replacing my transmission.Getting a service appointment at this constantly under-staffed dealership is a nightmare as well.I contacted the dealership to inform them of my concerns and asked to be connected with one of the owners who instead of doing anything about it, passed me on to one of his staff members but not before he had to educate me at on how long his family had been in the car dealership business and how he knew how to handle this.Unfortunately, Volvo has limited number of dealerships in my metropolitan area so I am stuck having to deal with these people but will never ever buy a car from them ever again.I am disgusted. Sad part is, I would have replaced both of my cars with two brand-new cars from them but cannot stomach the idea of giving them even one more penny of my money.
I appreciate the expertise and hospitality of all the staff I encounter on any visit I make. I have especially appreciated their excellent service for nearly three decades. Friendly, fast, thorough, still competitively priced.Clone John Sullivan and Paolo Fiorenza. I miss the old owners, but the new owners are definitely dedicated to maintaining and building on what took the Lawrence Family a half century to establish.
Paolo was extremely helpful with all of the questions I had regarding my vehicle. He was extremely knowledgeable, and supplied me with all of the information I needed for future upkeep and servicing on my car. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends with Volvo cars, as well as those looking to purchase from Volvo Walnut Creek in the future.
Love this dealership! Have been coming for many many years. My service advisor is Alan. He has always been top notch and kept my car running perfectly!
My experience was fantastic! The Walnut Creek Volvo team are committed to providing excellent customer service and are truly a joy to work with!I am a proud owner of a 2011 Volvo c30 (T5 - manual 6 speed transmission) it is my first Volvo, my dream car, I purchased it new, as a custom order, and saved for years to buy it. So naturally, Im diligent about its care and maintenance; and its important to me to feel comfortable with a service team that I can trust.Although I am a new customer to the Walnut Creek Volvo location,I have been a customer of Grant Bos since 2011 (Service Production Manager). I trust Grants commitment to excellence and his integrity, as well as, his authentic and genuine kindness. So, when he transferred to Walnut Creek, I followed. Although it is a longer commute than the previous Volvo location, receiving exceptional customer service is far more important to me than mileage.Below are a few of the highlights to describe the excellent customer service I received before, during and after my service. Before my service appointment:I received a personal phone call from Paolo (Service Advisor) to not only confirm my upcoming service appointment but also took the time to review the services included in my VIP extended warranty, as well as, discussed and noted a concern about a safety and performance issue I was experiencing with my car.The day of my Appointment:Wow! The team environment was buzzing with upbeat energy - it was clear that the team enjoyed working together! When I arrived, I was greeted by Lisa and Joanna (Reception), I met with Grant and Alan to review my service (Service Production Manager and Service Advisor). Alan then introduced me to several members of the team, including Casey (General Manager), William, Alex and Bruce (Sales Team), and Paolo (Service Advisor, mentioned above) who drove me to pick up my rental car. After my service appointment:My car was serviced the same day. When I returned, I met with Alan and Grant to review the maintenance report, as well as, the follow-up needed to diagnose and resolve the safety concern issue.I absolutely love the team! Its clear that they truly enjoy working together and genuinely care about their customers.
My service advisor Alan Pierce makes the experience more enjoyable. He is attentive, listens to my issues/needs and is very responsive when you leave him a message. I have been dealing with Alan since my first Volvo S60 which I believe I purchased in 2002. I then purchased the C30 sometime after the S60. Sadly I took a hiatus from Volvo and went to BMW for a few years and returned to Volvo in 2017 to purchase my 3rd Volvo V60 CC. Despite buying my latest Volvo from the San Leandro dealership I knew then that I would come to WC to have the vehicle serviced as I trust Alan as my service advisor. Also to my surprise, I ran into Steve Carlton at WC Volvo who sold me my Volvo in 2017 in San Leandro and was delighted to learn that he now worked at WC Volvo.
These guys are amazing! I purchased an XC70 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience thanks to Mary. Didn’t use the car much till this Spring when I drove East from Walnut Creek to Virginia and back. Going East I got to South Dakota and on my second night in Keystone came out of the lodge after a rainy night and the car wouldn’t recognize the keyless ignition! Called Volvo who sent a tow truck from Rapid City. 20 minutes and a jump later the car ran perfectly. During Summer I had the oil changed and tires rotated at the dealer in Virginia but they couldn’t find a problem. Fast forward to last week now November. I tell all this to the service manager at Volvo Cars Walnut Creek. His response was that this shouldn’t have happened. Sure enough the service department was able to make that battery fail. They replaced it under the warranty. This is entirely due to Chip, their service manager, knowing when something isn’t right and going the extra mile to fix it. Needless to say I would enthusiastically recommend this organization - both sales and service!
The service dept. is the best. I have moved my XC 60 service from Volvo Pal Alto to Walnut Creek. They explain what is to be done, do the service then they follow up, explain what was done. Just outstanding!
The nicest people from the minute you walk in until you leave! What a great experience! I would highly recommend this dealership!
My decade of experience with Volvo Cars Walnut Creek is consistently flawless. They make me feel like one of the family, they care. Thank you to my service representative, Paolo - youre awesome!
Enjoyed working with our sales pro, Helen Flowers. She is very knowledgeable about the XC90 Plugin Hybrid and made the overall purchasing experience pleasurable. Bruce Mah and Ben Pun enhanced our experience with their professionalism and helpfulness with financing. This was our first Volvo purchase experience and definitely a fan of Volvo and especially Walnut Creek Volvo.
Great dealership -- if you want a Volvo, go to this team!
Took our XC90 in for regular scheduled maintenance. Everything was explained very clearly and the estimated cost was very close to the actual cost. Everyone was very courteous and the work was finished on time.
Parts department is a pro team! Quick, precise and efficient. Thanks WC Volvo parts team!
Professional demeanor was good however, there seemed to be a lack of knowledge about vehicle packages cost and exceptions
I came to Volvo because my check engine light was on. They charged me $197 just to check it. I did not fix it because it was a minor issue and so they do not turn the light off. There was not a shuttle during lunch and my car was not well vacuumed. The prices are high.
Typical sales... our sales rep Trey seemed like he didnt want to be there, and seemed to be more interesting with what he had on his phone. Answered my questions with a vague response and had to look multiple times to check on my questions... maybe he was looking at the specs on his phone but I didnt have the time or patience to deal with it.
I just purchased my 5th Volvo yesterday. I drove all the way from Reno, NV where I normally purchase all my new cars. I made the 3.5 hour drive because Mary McKinney, the sales rep I spoke with has worked for Volvo for over 20 years. She is extremely knowledgeable about the Volvo products and they have a massive inventory to chose from. From Mary, to the general sales manager Bruce, and finally Mariah, the finance manager, the whole transaction went perfect. I will always recommend Walnut Creek Volvo, and will be back to purchase my next one.
Great personal service by the salesperson.
Volvo Walnut Creek is awesome. Everyone I deal with there (service advisors, office staff, shuttle drivers) are so competent and friendly! Love this place!
Was great as long as it was the husband who took the car in for service. Like all service depts if your a woman they will look for things wrong with your car. Experiance was good. However they didnt reset the maintenance lights.
Good customer service and reasonable priced cars
Everyone, from my sales associate Anthony to the sales manager, Bruce; and the GM, Casey were courteous, helpful and informative. They worked to make this an easy transaction and an actually pleasant experience.
Great experience. Highly recommend this dealer for new car purchase
People in Volvo Cars Walnut Creek are courteous and professional.Shuttle drivers are nice, too.The service experiences are always great!
Great team and service! Helen Flowers in sales was wonderful to work with!
Alan is always very thorough and complete with his explanations and recommendations. The work is always done on time and for the price we discussed. This particular visit was challenging because of the nature of the problem; a water leak that caused a lot of unforseen problems. With Alans suggestion to file a claim with my insurance, the problems were properly fixed with little impact to my wallet.
Steve was great, process was very easy - love the XC90
A very throrough and efficient car buying experience. Well worth the drive from the Sacramento area to purchase a Volvo.
