I bought a stick shift M3 for my wife while in the area on vacation. Everyone here made the car buying process so smooth. Ignore the one star reviews, these are naïve people that buy used foreign cars without doing their research. My wife has been driving her new M3 for a couple months and is absolutely loving it. My out-of-state vehicle purchase with North State Auto started out well, but had some issues later. Had a lot of delays getting all sales & title paperwork sorted out (but to their credit, they did eventually help me complete it).Probably the most troublesome issue was they did admit and show me some minor damage from previous minor vehicle incident, but the total damage was NOT communicated and I was forced to do a comprehensive body repair & re-paint of the vehicle at my own expense (> $6000) after receiving the vehicle.I would caution out-of-state buyers to make the trip there to verify vehicle condition BEFORE you finalize the purchase.

I do not recommend this place. I dont write reviews but I wanted to share my experience. Steve, the dealer (I believe he is new) was very condescending and defensive. The car was listed for $29k, on the phone he said he can work it out $28k and when we got there he was like I never said that but he was speaker and multiple heard him. He called me later and said he couldnt do that because he isnt the owner. But not only that, the whole time in transaction I felt he was defensive about everything I was saying. We were already pre-approved from our bank and had a large downpayment, and he was just down right rude. I bought many cars but never experience someone like Steve at Northstar. Chris seem nice, I wish he was the person that helped us instead. Yeah but Steven maybe should have been hugged more when he was a child because he was not a nice person.

Called the dealership and offered them their asking price on a vehicle. I was told the price of the vehicle increased, but that they would honor the price I saw online. 30 minutes later Im told that I will have to pay the increased price. Very unprofessional. Either change your ads and their prices or honor the price when you say you will honor it.Do yourself a favor and take your business to a more reputable dealership and stay away from this greedy dealership. You can thank me later.

Bought a 2016 GL450... supposedly they did the inspection and took care of everything. Within a couple of months the vehicle continued to leak fluid (they said it was fixed-engine mounts) took it to MB Of Reno and as it turned out both turbos were blown. Replacement cost over $6500. Called Tim, owner, and he said hed pay part of the repairs...then he disappeared. Very shady folks and their actions speak louder. Dont rely on their mechanics... check the vehicle before you sign papers. What a scam!

This is one of the best dealers in the area for used high-end cars. The staff is knowledgeable but not pushy, and perfectly play the line between being helpful but unobtrusive. I’m looking at a few dealerships at the moment but will almost certainly end up making my purchase here.

I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone; I’ve seen bad service but nothing like North State Auto, they are in a category of their own on bad service. Sadly I did buy my car from them but had a headache when done and still dealing with the issues... they first lost my deposit check or made an accounting error, I followed up and that’s when they told me it got kicked back; (not true) I paid with my debit card. Than a week later they lost the full contract we signed and mailed us another set to sign without even giving us a heads up; once I called what the package was for they claimed original signed contract was “stuck” at usps so we had to sign another set... I just now received a call from my old auto loan lender telling me I’m late on my payment, they still haven’t paid off the old loan and I’ve messaged them at least 3 times and everyone “we will get back or finance guy will call you”. It’s been a month and old loan not paid off; paying interest on 2 cars now.They sell luxury cars with McDonald’s service.

First of all the only reason I am giving a 1 star is because they sold the car when we were finalizing the sale. From the start Chris was being very helpful and informative but our bank approval took a couple days. We finally got an approval Tuesday afternoon. I gave him a call today to email the contract and we can be there to sign Thursday afternoon. I received a text message saying they sold the car. Basically, wasted my time. We only did this situation over the phone because we are coming from Stockton. 1 hour and 15 min away. I do not recommend this dealership after this situation. Very unprofessional. So I recommend not making any purchases over the phone. It is not fair to people who have paperwork sitting at their desk and someone comes along and buys.

Been almost 3 months now and the car is running strong however a hose busted on the cooling system on the way to work one morning. I gave them a call and spoke to Chris who took care of me. I purchased a Tesla from out of state. All the sales people, management, and business office personnel have been great to work with. One minor issue was resolved after the sale. I would buy a car from them again. Professional, trustworthy, friendly and they have some good cars!

They are very deceptive at this Dealership. They are very friendly, approving and convincing bunch when you are purchasing the car. but as soon as you take it off of their lot they dont care about you any more. I bought 740I from them and it has been in the shop more then it has been on the road. Several things was wrong with the car with in the week of me buying it. Also when they sold me their warranty trough CNA National, I was told and convinced that it covers everything that I could think of which was not the case. So far I spend $1200 out of my packet to get this car fixed and warranty paid about $8900. I bought the car for $25,500.00 which seemed like a reasonable price, but now I know why. I will not buy from this place again, and would recommend you to walk away too.

They’re nice but my car was given to me with an almost completely empty tank (an estimated 56 miles) and one of the arms that hands you your seatbelt is broken and makes a horrible noise every time the passenger door is open. I’ve gotten used to it but it’s still unprofessional to sell a car like that without informing the buyer. It was the worst noise in the world when I wasn’t used to it yet.

If I could give this place 100 STARS.... I would! First off Id like to say that I have not yet purchased a vehicle from these fine group of guys but I was very, very, VERY impressed... So impressed that I am taking the time to write this review and help solidify the reputation they already have! One of the 6 guys there who helped me was Mr. Pardais... Which he goes by P, he is the most professional salesman I have ever met in my 40 years of buying cars. In the past I have always had a slick, fast talking, too much cologne wearing salesman that pretend to care about you and only have their commissions on thier mind. NOT P! He has a ton of knowledge about the cars they have in inventory, all from his memory! Not even 1 time did he google search the answers to my questions or did he have to ask anyone else. A few times I asked him questions that I have asked other salesman and usually they answer i dont know but i will find out or they search for the answer on thier cell phone. Again Mr. P never did either of those typical things! I drove a couple of cars and normally salesman get frustrated, Not P... I can go on and on about my experiance. P is 2nd to NONE! North State Auto is 2nd to NO ONE! They are the GREATEST and BEST dealership to purchase any make/model car from! The owners/management really have a 1 of a kind person respresenting them, Mr. Pardais P Azad! I will be buying my next car from him and him only. Thank you Mr. P! Keep up the great work!
