I’ve been terribly curious about checking out what next gen banking was envisioned to look like, at least before the pandemic. Glad I got to pop in finally and thankfully had a great recommendation from the barista. The café part of the bank essentially carries Peet’s coffee without integrating with the Peet’s app but he shared that the one thing they have that no other Peet’s has is blackberry kombucha. WOW. I feel like it’s been missing from my life this whole time! Wonderfully refreshing and almost floral like a hibiscus tea. Solid visit!
This is my favorite place to get work done or study. Think of it as the best place to have it you are doing a work from home day and actually need to get work done with our distractions. It helps that they serve Peets coffee and it is half off if you use a capital one card. They also have books of you need to take a business call or have a one on one meeting.
As a mobile professional, this is an ideal work space. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Half-priced Peets beverages [as a Capital One customer] is a great bonus. Space is typically plentiful, and there is a feeling of community and kindness all around. I use the cafe to co-work with colleagues, and have met with clients several times.
Love how low key and NOT LOUD the whole place is. I can meet my clients here or stay to get away from my home office now and then. 50% off drinks using my Capitol One card is fabulous. There are several small private study rooms and 2 or 3 larger meeting rooms. Only two downsides: there arent a lot of outlets so think ahead, and theres not much food. Im settled in and would stay longer AND spend money if I could get something other than pastries and sugary snacks. Ive noticed a lot of people bring food in with them.
Best place to get quick work down without being harassed. Its so hard to work in this country without loud noises, but introducing the Capital One Cafe and suddenly there is a serene place to work. Coffee is Petes coffee which is really nice.
Called ahead to see if they could assist us with something and we were told yes. When we arrived to have the service done we were informed they couldnt help. The coffee shop being there is pretty cool and nice that its 50% off if you use your capital one card, but the drinks arent very good. So overall I doubt Id bother visiting one of the Cafes again.
Capital One Cafe is a really cool cafe. They always have something interesting going on. I love their happy hours. Its very spacious and comfortable to hang out. The conference rooms are really nice and modern too.
Capital One Cafe Team of Professionals has changed the image of banking and bankers. Thanks for letting us host our Cross-Group Networking Event. Its The Networking Place to Be!
Always cool, open and clean place for work, coffee and meeting. Plus I use a lot of capital one products now too.
What a great idea for a cafe! Great staff and Peets Coffee, what more can you want? Oh, I know, plenty of seating and 50% off coffee when you use your C1 Card. I am there at least 4 times a week. I love C1!
Best HOT pumpkin latte!
Very nice, cozy, and friendly place. You can come over to just hang out with a coffee, while conversing with a bank specialist. You are also welcome to rsvp for a private for studying or just a meetup with friends. Very cool. A great idea and precedent for future establishments! 👍 👍 👍
A great concept, half price on drinks if you’re a customer, plus they offer free money coaching - you can sign up for 3 free sessions. This was a great value to me, with a quality coach. When most banks only aim seems to be taking your money, this is great way to give back and engage local community. Ambience could use some work (think a hybrid of a cafe, coworking space & a bank :) but staff are super friendly and it’s a spacious professional clean atmosphere to work or chill in.
I used to come here once a day almost. It was really bad coffee, but it was really cheap with your capital one card. Anyways, I started getting sick of the coffee then one of the managers acted really rude and I was done. No thanks Capital One Cafe. Ill pay an extra dollar and go elsewhere.
Fantastic environment. Good coffee. Also good deal for students.
Terrible customer service! Very long time on hold, then when someone finally answered I asked them if this location was just a coffee shop or a real bank location where I could make a payment on my CapitalOne credit card with cash. The person on the phone told me indeed you can put your credit card in the machine and put money on in. I asked if I understood correctly that what he was saying was I could make a credit card payment in the machine, and I asked how was it possible that the amount of money I put in the machine was verified, and the person said indeed I could take money from my credit card, and when I said are you for real? I want to make a payment on my credit card, please put me through your manager and the person hung up!
Happy hour from 11 am to noon Monday through Friday. All drinks, any size, are free to Capital One cardholders. Whats not to love about free?
I have been a customer for almost two years now. I had try to request a credit increase a few times, but was denied everytime for low utilization. I called in and spoke with their customer service representatives. She kept on saying she doesnt know how to answer questions. I asked to be transferred to someone that can. She then transferred me to her Manager. I explained to him that the reason why I kept on requesting a credit increase was that my credit line was too low according to FICO and Vangit 3.0. And my goals is to reach to 800+ on my credit score, since Im at 790+ at the moment. I try to keep my utilization around 10 % to 15 % and paid it off without 5 days. I told him that I have two charge cards from American Express, one is a Platinum and the other is a Rose Gold. Both have no per-set limits. He then said that I needed to max out my card and carry a balance and pay a MINIMUM amount every month. I told him that Im not going to do that, cause it will lower my credit score and that not what I wanted. He then said, well Im telling you what to do and youre not listening. Its either you max out your credit and pay a MINIMUM amount. Then you might get an increase or keep your utilization low and NEVER get an credit increase. I was like, what that hell is wrong with this guy.
Great place to chill. Their banking savings rate is too notch! FDIC insured.
Come here every weekend, service has been consistently good and I get half off my drink orders using my Capital One card.
Beautifully decorated on demand work space in downtown Walnut Creek at NO COST! Capital One Cafe is located next to the Apple Store, Amazon books and across from Nieman Marcus. I came here for a recent event and was pleasantly surprised at how functional the two-story workspace is. If you are an entrepreneur, freelancer, CEO, or just need to have a couple hours of business meetings this is the perfect place to drop and meet in a professional setting. Bonus for free Wi-Fi, coffee and lunch.
Very comfortable sitting area in there are more than enough places to charge your electronic devices
Love getting half off on my chai lattes! However, don’t really love the bizarre, off-putting attitudes of the baristas here.
Free coffee during happy hour for Capitol one card members yeay
Awesome place for coffee, chatting about finances, and just getting work done.
The coffee was horrible and it made me puke and i suggest to never go there in your life [ JK ] its amaizing
