I like the employees when they smile its mean theyre happy.Great always ❤
Parking was wide open after 7pm. Some departments were closed and some of the shelves were bare and being restocked. An employee stocking was helpful in helping me find an item I was looking for but there were a few items that didnt seem available. I couldnt find the gherkins 😞 but its okay, I will try again next time. A bit expensive but I like being able to find items there that are not available at my local grocery store.
Whole Foods Market is just like visiting a farmers market way out in the country. When you look at the fruits and vegetables, everything looks fresh from the farm. I am always totally amazed when I visit Whole Foods Market. In addition to the most fresh fruits and vegetables, I also find things that I should not buy, but of course I do. I found a sour cream cheesecake, (single portion)....that totally made my visit to Whole Foods Market, my most favorite shopping trip of the week! 👍
The best beef pastrami is at the Whole Foods Market. The fruits are fresh. The cashiers are helpful.
I havent been in awhile and was surprised that the prices were better than I thought theyd be right now!
I always love shopping here. Excellent selection and service, with a nice variety of meats and fish as well as prepared dishes.
I like shopping here as everything is very well stocked and organized. I do appreciate the Amazon/employee shoppers and their efforts for trying to make life either simpler or safer for those who need the extra care and attention, but boy do they crowd up the aisles. Its kind of hard navigating with so many people zipping around. I hope that maybe their peak shopping services would not be so interruptive in the near future. A good thing Ive noticed is that their self shopping kiosk seems to be better than any others Ive experienced. I wasnt greeted by an alert to remove all of my items before scanning or annoying bleep-blurps like Safeway.
Since Amazon took over its gone downhill. Trader Joes and Safeway are better sources of regular plain nonfat yogurt. Human checkout people have been replaced with self checkout. Fruit and veg are still superior for supermarket s but we typically use the farmers market for those.
Have to say, this place is well organized both for selling produce and dealing with the pandemic. Great job!
Done shopping here in the amazon warehouse. Really tired of being in the way of the paid delivery shoppers and constantly getting ran into or shoved aside.Amazon killed whole foods.
Some great deals on organic produce today. Amazon Prime discounts were easy to use. Clean, well-stocked, friendly
Employees are amazing, prices, not so much.
Great employees, as far as there boss Bezos, I dont know... Are they Union? If not, they should be!
Though I only went to get a sandwich, it took a long time since there was only one lady, who was doing her best, working the counter.
No room for the regular shopper....had to work around all the free delivery people...if you order must be fine. Not the name products I look for along with new things. Tried a product as they didnt carry the name brand...threw it out, did not like it and I like most anything.Nice looking fruit section and cheese section.
Everything is great though their prices are on the high side...I go there sporadically.
Definitely the better of the two Whole Foods in Berkeley. Staffing could be increased, but otherwise a nice store.
No Doubt this place is amazing! Great staffs and collections. It’s a great news for Vegan who have sweet tooth like me 😁😁and also dessert lovers bcz now they have delicious vegan chocolate mousse cake. It’s taste delicious and heavenly! Thanks to the baker who created an amazing thing for vegan! Thanks a lot 🙏🏻 whole food for making our trip beautiful and memorable!
Whats not to like about Whole Foods.Healthy foods, essential oils and much more.My kind of place.
Amazon shopper in the way. Cant even get thing done the store need to cut down on Amazon shopping coming that much or I just cant shop there no more.
Decent place. Not many check out lines (though not a long wait). The cheese section is much smaller than Im used to ☹️
Just cannot beat the quality of food. Prices could be better but you get what you pay for. Service is great.
Always have what Im looking for
Meat Department mislabeled their steaks. Instead of apologizing and correcting their mistake, she was very rude and unprofessional! Never again will I go back to this store.
Horrible drop off from precovid quality and availability compared to full service at Lafayette Whole Foods. Wont go to Oak Grove store anymore.
Very Clean. Well organized
They used to have a pretty good salad bar till the pandemic. Now its gone. Bummer!
Its my favorite place
I found a delicious salmon lunch!
Quick and out the door
I love how helpful their people are!
Bought some fresh halibut here. It turned out to be the opposite of fresh. Was tainted and I had to toss.
We get our favorite pizza here. Lots of other great food choices too.
I really like this whole foods, it has some of the best produce I can find in the east bay and good prices. The only issue is that there are so many shoppers sometimes the experience is unpleasant with their lack of courtesy while at the store. The whole foods employees though are amazing!!
Not friends customer service manager ..she refused to return bad product without the product..I had the receipt
Very nice, bright and clean. Friendly, professional staff. Runs out of sale products quickly.
I like this store but the deli counter staff need more training. They dont know how to properly slice and package prosciutto. They will slice it and package without separating with plastic sheets so all the slices end up stuck together in a ball, not cool at $26/pound. I ask for this every time but its still hit or miss. Otherwise, I usually find what I need, and the staff are friendly.
I love this place its very clean and has everything you need
Great clean store easy to get to
Found what I wanted/needed online on Amazon & came to buy it because I didnt want their delivery charge. Said it was available for 2 hour delivery. NOT... they didnt have it!
What more can one say? This is the best of all the whole foods near me.
Despite COVID ruining my 2 favorite departments ( bulk and prepared foods hot bar) I still find this to be the best local store for high quality food and bodycare items.
Huge variety of super fresh food, ethnic food, rare food. Great selection. Sometimes out of stuff during COVID.
The quality of Whole Foodss products is high, the store is always clean and well maintained, and the staff is nice and helpful. Prices are higher than your average store, but when Im looking for higher quality ingredients, this is my go to place.
I can’t believe Whole Foods store in town could sell pita bread that goes mold way before expiration date (let alone it smells like feet), and bread’s “best by” date is only two days after purchase. Plus, the bread is no soft at all, and smells a little bit sour.I admit we have to pay extra attention every time when buying bread, making sure it’s shelf life is at least a week away. But the Whole Foods store should at least label them to make their customer aware of this.Follow-up: just got a full refund at the customer service desk, for this, I give them full credits on maintaining 100% satisfaction guarantee. Btw, they seem to aware the pita bread are easily going bad(moldy) before expiration date. Well, at least I know what not to buy at the Whole Foods store any more.
Crowed popular place. Very fancy inside. Staff friendly and helpful
Quick drop off for Amazon product for return
Great grocery store, but expensive.
E,cellent market
I hate to say this, because most of the staff here are quite good, but the checker that I met today was awful. Rude, impatient, unkind. I know this is a super tough job but maybe this particular person isn’t cut out for the business. I will have to think hard about returning to this location, but if I do I will be on the lookout to avoid this particular checker.
So many cakes available readily for pick up!
Maybe its Covid-19, but this store was out of stock on everything I wanted to buy. Next time Ill stick with the Walnut Creek location.
No social distancing to many people with I couldnt care attitude bad people control by whole foods
Personnel are very helpful in finding items you are looking for. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is because it is very expensive. Also, shelves continue to be empty of choices.
Staff is always very nice and knowledgeable
Great, but only one expensive brand of cards. Papyrus only :(
I shop here all the time. Their produce is always fresh. Their other items, such as chicken, beef, and fish are all clean and quality. As for service and quantity of items even now during Quarentine, they are doing A-OK in my book. 😊
Nice, spacious whole foods
Expensive, but some things are cheap and good and others are overpriced and good.We got some excellent meat and chicken and a really nice cake. The meat was cheap.
Roast chicken was not fully cooked, still bloody. Looks cooked from outside but once you slice it, visibly raw, probably cooked frozen.
I really like this store. Everything is always good. Just a little bit expensive. I feel it worth it.
Pretty good variety of products all in a nice and neat place. I hope in the back of my mind that fruits and vegetables can still be found in a healthy stage, but dont really believe it. For me its just a step up grocery store. Good size parking lot.
Nice deli good selection!
I generally do all my shopping at Whole Foods. While I do most of my shopping in Mill Valley, I decided to go check out the fairly new Whole Foods in Encina Plaza. I found the store to be large, clean, and well laid out. It was a pleasure to shop there, and all the items I needed were easy to locate. The service was excellent. Both the Deli employee that helped me, and the check out employees were very pleasant. The gentleman that checked me out seemed very happy with his job, and that reflected on the service he provided me. It is often rare to receive service by someone that seemed actually happy to be helping a customer. I will definitely return to the store when I am in the area.
One of the nicest, kindness, cleanest shopping days Ive ever had. Love this store!
Great local whole foods. Cashier is always very nice.
Fabulous fresh produce and I love the Neat and clean shopping experience due to Covid 19. Thank you all the Team member there🙏💐💐
The Whole Foods that I would recommend in this area. The other one inWalnut Creek is cute and friendly but hard to get in and out of. The 365 is small and more focused on prepared foods. This one has ample parking and has easy access from the road. The staff is friendly and the prepared food is yummy. They have great products. We especially like the pizza and the salad bar.
Great supermarket. Very clean and usually well stocked. Usually busy with both shoppers and whole foods delivery shoppers.
Great customer service
One of the better Whole Foods Markets. Organized, clean, with helpful employees. Used to pick up food donations here, and the red bins tended to be waiting for us. Encountered very little waste. Was consistently impressed that one morning went into the store to buy a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs & sausages. Very good!
Ok store
Pricey and quality
This place is fantastic. They have a wonderful selection of various items that you wont find in most stores. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a wonderful butcher department with incredibly tasty meat. I cant believe it took me so long to go shopping here
This store sucks. Idiots on phones walking around in the way. Its always a pain shopping here
The parking lot here is what anxiety nightmares are made of.However, the store, itself is always very well stocked and the staff is always beyond helpful. I’ve had a few issues with produce being past its shelf life, but that generally only happens with grocery delivery.
Love the freshness of the produce. The meat and seafood department are clean and well maintained
Whole food is my al time fav store... they have nice collections of wine. They have vegan option and good thing is their cafeteria.. I just love their pizza. Specially the mozzarella basil tomato one... I always get my cake from their bakery section... as always they always turn to be good. They have so many collections of desserts and trust me they are damn delicious 😋😋😊... they have mochi too and they taste amazing. If you haven’t visited yet, you have really missed something.
Great place for groceries. Nice selection of cheese, fruit and veg, beer and wine, meat, etc.The coconuts with ringpulls are a personal favorite of mine. I havent seen them anywhere else. This Whole Foods already offers discounts for Prime Members, which is great! There is usually something available for kids to snack on by the entrance, which I think is a really nice touch.
Stopped by in the morning spoke with Suzette who confirmed they didnt have 8inch Chantilly cake available but stated they were making some for that day. She got my number and stated someone would call me once cake was ready. No call! I called around 3pm, gentleman who picked up confirmed they had 8inch Chantilly ready. I stopped by and they didnt have any 8 inch available. I got what was available which was a 6 and it was lobsided and uneven! Go to the bakery downtown Walnut Creek! They have never messed up any orders and their cakes are phenomenal!
I find the store expensive, over crowded and lacking in good customer service. Their products are great.
I work as a shopper for Amazon Prime, but this store is great. Nice, polite staff, decent, clean store, plenty of parking, plenty of Organic options to choose from. Much better than regular grocery stores.
Nice & clean store. Lots of parking out front. Lots of room to move around and easy to find things. The clerks were polite and friendly. My mom liked the store a lot and since she is disabled she found it easy to move around the store with a walker. Well be back!
Edit: Well, WFM has officially been absorbed by the Borg (aka Amazon). Seems that most people shopping here are pickers for Amazons delivery service. The food court and bar are closed and the entire front of the store looks like a warehouse for delivery orders. Employees dont seem happy and we were not asked if we need help even once. They were also out of a number of items that we regularly purchase at WFM. As a former WFM team member, Im very disappointed in the changes made by Amazon.
Theyre doing it right sanitizing everything from your shopping carts to the keypad on the checkout and on top of that quality produce and food
Maybe its just me but my impression has been that ever since Whole Foods was bought out by Amazon its been mostly a better place to shop and I have found myself coming here more frequently than in years past. Just like all the other grocery chains the service deli, meat counter and bakery are no longer staffed and have mostly moved to self serve (its all there, just not full service). The good outweighs the bad in my opinion. The produce has been fresher and is always fully stocked. Prices have come down and are much more competitive and the added express checkout lane really speeds up the process of getting in and out quickly. Staff is really friendly and seems to be genuinely happy to be working there! Overall, a much preferred go to stop for groceries over the usual suspects in my local area.
There was too many Amazon workers impeding traffic flow. I felt like I was in a Amazon warehouse, and not at a grocery store. VERY uncomfortable feeling. Will NOT visit again.
Super clean! Staff was friendly and helpful.
Good quality
How can anyone not appreciate Whole Foods. Yes. The prices are a little higher than other grocery stores, but the quality of their products and customer service is higher than the rest. Their staff has always been friendly, helpful and more than willing to lend a hand with me, I’ve never received a rude comment on the phone.I only had one interaction with an employee where the offer to help me find a product was corrected with a ‘Please’, but it wasn’t a big deal. No offense was taken. The downtown Walnut Creek store doesn’t seem to care if the word ‘Please’ is used. And to TBH, unless its a formal situation the use of the word Please shouldnt matter. But every city, town, person has their own preference. To judge someone how they speak or dont speak is wrong, and a reflection of the judgers perspective. The layout and atmosphere of their store is always light bright and airy. Clean, or in the midst of being cleaned. Constant wiping of counters, all with a friendly smile or even a nice salutation, sometimes even a quick chat. While I’m not able to be a frequent shopper, the times I have been able to buy a few things, has been pleasant. And I have been able to try new products that haven’t been found at any other grocer. The parking at the Ygnacio Valley Store, is not as tricky as the whole foods store in downtown walnut creek, the lot is quite a bit larger as it is part of a larger shopping center.
Fresh fruits and vegetables, the Oatly milk is a must buy item👍
This is the new whole foods. Beautiful location in a new shopping mall. Excellent choices, reasonable prices.I love having lunch here. They have an excellent sandwich shop and bar.
Looks nice
I love all Whole Foods stores because they have great produce for a plant eater like me!
Excellent shopping experience
