The moving team(s) at 680 Movers were both times very professional and courteous. The first time my belongings were moved from point A to storage (point B), and then again from storage to point C. There were lots of logistics to work out and their teams knowledge of these challenges were met with sound and accurate attention to detail. They also excel when packaging items that are fragile and require special consideration. From the storage move to point C this team was so very observant that when I began to move things on my own, they immediately offered to move these items for me. I barely lifted a finger due to their very observant and kind consideration. I highly recommend 680 Movers.

Great experience from start to finish. Called on a Friday to schedule service for the following Monday and they were able to help on short notice. After scheduling, I was authorized to move in Sunday instead and they were able to accommodate by moving my time to Sunday. Communication for quote and with movers was great and the movers did a great job. Took care of my stuff and they were fast. Would use again.

Rock star to rock bottom! I used 680 movers 3 years ago and was very impressed by their service. I recommended them to real estate agents and many of my friends but now never again. Yesterday I hired them, they showed up with only 2 movers when I was quoted 3 movers. With 2 movers, I only got $15 off from the hourly rate but the entire move cost me more than 1/3 of the price. The movers were extremely unprofessionally slow, scratching my furniture, and had trouble dissembling and reassembling the furniture. They dont seem experienced at all and left many screws that I had to reassemble my bed myself. At the end, I had to start moving my own furniture otherwise they would charge me $50 moving one chair for the 15-minute time slot. I also had to assemble the bed myself because they would have charged me another $150 just to assemble the bed. When I complained about how slow the guys were, no response from the office but just took the money. I would never used them again and will warn all my friends.UPDATE 8/24660movers customer service called me and apologized. Next day, they offered me a full refund and assured me on training their staff. It did take another 2 calls to actually get the full refund, but I appreciate that this company cares about the quality of service and made an effort to regain customer confidence.

Four young men did an excellent job moving our things from one condo to another. Lots of unusual pieces of furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled and they did it in a timely manner on a very hot day. Definitely recommend.

It was a challenging move since it was a move from an assisted living facility on the second floor. They were friendly and helpful. We opted for packing our own boxes to save a bit of money and they were great with moving those for us as well. I would definitely use them again.

Guys did a good job of wrapping and protecting our furniture. We were only moving our stuff from our house into a storage pod in our driveway but some of our furniture was very heavy and some required disassembly and the guys did a good job on that. Moving is always stressful but having extra trained hands to help with the big stuff was a good move.

Moving with 680 was such an amazing experience! They were sooo helpful during what was a really really stressful situation. The move was unplanned and sudden because the complex I was staying at had a terrible pest disaster that management was not taking care of! And so I called 680 on a Friday and they were there and ready to go that Monday morning! They disassembled everything, wrapped everything up nicely, moved the stuff, and reassembled all the furniture in the new place within 4 hours! And they even reassembled everything much stronger than when my husband and I originally did it! And to top it off, they were so nice, friendly, respectful, and fun to work with the entire time! I will definitely be contacting 680 for my next move, whenever that may be!

Trying to schedule a simple 1 bedroom was the most frustrating experience. They couldnt say what time they would be there except for an arrival window. somewhere between 2 - 6 PM. then load up and drive from San Jose to Walnut Creek. tried to press for something more definitive, all they wanted was the deposit which if we cancelled later than 7 days was not refundable if not rescheduled. Ended up with Joshuaa Moving - a painless experience and a real person to talk to.

Just finished a move with 680 Movers and they arent the same company I reference below. Their service isnt the same and price is through the roof. Walls were damaged, furniture damaged and the usual follow-up call never happened. I wont be calling or referring them again.We have used 680 Movers more times than I can remember. They have helped move our furniture when weve staged homes. They have stored furniture for us several times. This last move was no different than any of the rest; great service at a fair price. We were moving from a 2 bed room apt with our one year old. 680 movers were so quick that they completed all the dismantling, packing, unpacking and putting furniture and beds back together in 5 hours. Few years back it took a moving company in Bay Area about 7 hrs to just move the packed boxes.highly recommend them and suggest to use them for packing. It takes 1/4th of the time we would spend to do that same task.

The movers themselves were very good. Just be ready to pay nearly double what youre quoted. I was told $218 for a minimum of 3 hours which is $654 and I paid $200 deposit, so a balance of $454. They called me 2 days before and offered me a $100 discount to move one day earlier which would make the balance $350. Again, the movers that did the work were great, so I brought $500 so I could tip them. At the end they told me the balance I owed was $750 which is more than the quote not including the discount and what I already paid. I had to pay with a card which made it even more money and when speaking to the dispatch person she was very rude and said I could file a claim with my credit company.

Ive used them before and plan to use then in January when i next move. They were great. Best in the best area in my opinion. Ive moved home 8 times in 7 years so I know what im talking about.

Great service.. everything was communicated in details in the email, and they came right on time as agreed.. The 2 movers (Dani and Salvador) took great care of the furniture: they wrapped all the furniture pieces with protective blankets and plastic wrap! They get paid by the hour yet they didnt waste time to get paid more like other movers sometimes do (thats a huge plus)..Their prices are good and on average compared to the market, but if you pay in cash you get a discount of $10/hr!!In summary, very professional company, great friendly movers (Dani and Salvador), highly recommended, and Id definitely use them again!

We used them for packing and moving. I liked that the guys asked how I wanted the delicate items packed instead of assuming. Moving day was great and they took good care of our items. It was a nice surprise that they laid down cardboard and particle board on the hardwood floors to protect from scratches. Boris and his team did a great job.

I did some research on the internet for my move this February and decided to go with these movers. Well, that was a pretty good move on my part. They were there on time and were very courteous and professional. They were very good at what they were doing and tried their best not scratch or damage my stuff or the property. The move lasted a couple of more hours than expected though due to some problems with our elevator. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of service and even recommended them to a couple of my friends, one of whom actually used their services and were very happy.

Movers showed up hours late. Took them 7 hours to pack a small home that had already had a until worth of stuff brought to my new home, then while unpacking, they put 4 gouges in my new walls. Tried to offer me money to not file a claim. I filed a claim, and the company claims no one they know can fix the wall and instead are trying to send me $100 for the damages. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

I hate moving, it makes monsters of us all. However these movers were amazing to work with. We werent quite finished with all of our packing and they jumped right in eager to help. They were so professional and really very considerate of our belongs and wishes. They tireless even walked our very large couch up several flights because it couldnt fit in the elevator. I cant express how much help they really provided. They were courteous and even quite funny... which is amazing especially when working so hard in this heat. I recommend them highly and if I wasnt so happy with my new place I would call them again tomorrow.

That pretty much sums it up with these guys. First of all they were very accommodating and let us move around our moving date since my wife decided to go into labor the day we had planned to move. Secondly, they showed up promptly on time and on Christmas Eve no less. They had all the pads, wrapping, tape, wardrobe cases and everything we didnt have to make moving easy. The team of Den, Jeff and Uriy CRUSHED the move and wouldnt let me help. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who is looking for a moving company.

This is the first time Ive ever hired Movers and Im sure glad I chose 680 Movers! Kenny and Alex were sooo helpful and made my 680 Movers and stress free. They were punctual, gentle with my fragile items nothing broke!!, and fast.I made the mistake of hiring only 2 movers as opposed to 3 movers for all my junk so it took WAY MORE work than anticipated. I replied with confirmation and requested Insurance Certificates for my 2 property management companies.5.5 hours later I didnt hear back and sent another email asking for a confirmation, stating I really need to get this done today. Or I need to call another company. -- still no response.When I called and asked for a new person to work with, I was told that I was speaking with Crystal and repeatedly told that she was the only one who runs the company 7-Days a week. After many unapologetic and defensive statements I stopped and clearly stated If you dont want my business, I can call the other moving companies. After more unprofessional, defensive statements about how its my fault that she didnt get back to me, I said I would be taking my business elsewhere.I wouldnt recommend working with someone whos clearly burned out for working 355 days a year. (Im assuming the 10 federal holidays were an exception to her statement.With so many moving companies, not sure why she would be so rude.

My move with 680 Movers in Walnut was an excellent experience in every phase. I had read reviews of different movers. Some reviewers didnt like the procedure of the loading of all their stuff then having to sign off that there was damage or whatever. Some had a problem with some of their boxes not delivered and by the time they realized it a few days later had already signed off that all had been received… I talked to their sales manager with my requirements. All furniture was to be totally wrapped to avoid problems during the transportation. Everything went smooth and with no damages. Prices were also nice!

I had a terrible experience with this moving company. I hired them because of the good reviews they have online, they must be from employees or friends, because they were ridiculously slow and didnt speak English, i couldnt even talk to them. First off they quoted me 4 hours on the move...then it turned out to be 8 hours!! for a 1 bedroom apt!! They showed up with a tiny little moving truck, the truck size was ridiculous, it took them 2 trips to move my small 1 bedroom apartment within walnut creek. Most of these google reviews are fake. Mine is real.Ive moved several times in the last few years so I know what to expect from a good moving experience. My normal local moving company is the Handy Movers but they were booked solid for my move date, so I figured Id go with this other local company that has good reviews.In January we moved from a 1600 sq ft house to a larger rental of 3000 sq ft. We were now moving the same stuff to a different house, again 3000 sq ft. I emphasize the size because its not 3000 sq ft of stuff, its 1600 sq ft of stuff. Read on.Crystal had availability so I went ahead and reserved. She recommended a crew of six which I thought was too many, so I had it reduced to five. The premove experience with Crystal was good, no issues there.Moving day. Truck shows up at 850 with two guys. Foreman introduces himself, we go through the house and talk about the move details.A second (small) truck shows up with 3 more guys about 45 mins later. I call Crystal to make sure Im not going to be billed for 5 guys when 2 showed up.Among the movers we had two Irish lads here for the summer (how they are legally able to work I dont know). Poor kids were not used to the hot weather and worked but they were SLOW, in particular compared to the other workers.Did they move my stuff? Yes. But they took 8.5 hrs total, and that was with me moving 5 loads in my full size pickup, and me having them leave most of the 2nd truck in the driveway, because at that point it was after 5:30 and I wasnt paying for any more time.A good example of how time was wasted - while the 4 guys were unloading the truck, the foreman was folding blankets instead of moving things or paying attention and making sure that things went in the right places.I spoke to the operations manager Taylor before paying and told him I was not happy about the whole experience. He offered to have the crew stay on their own time and fix things, and offered to come himself, but neither of those options was really going to address anything and would have been uncomfortable for us anyway.Overall, it took too way too long, and a lot of stuff was in the wrong rooms though it was very clearly labeled.Taylor asked me how long my previous move had taken and I didnt know but said I would find out. I was so ticked off I had my wife describe the experience to him in her own words, and ended by having her tell him that I would call him the next day.The next day I called Handy Movers who told me my last move 6 months ago for the same stuff was 4 men at 5.5 hrs for a total of $1127. That included setting up the furniture which 680 Movers didnt do (at my request but the point is, handy movers did that in way less time).Compare that total to the $1821 that 680 Movers charged me.Early the next day my wife called me to tell me the washing machine was leaking and had a burning smell. My brother in law reminded me that he had seen them drop the washing machine as it was coming into the house. It looked OK at the time but clearly was damaged. As if moving wasnt hard enough, we now have to schlep clothes to a laundromat.I emailed, texted and called Taylor the following day. No reply.I would never, ever, again use this company.By the way - though their website shows BBB Accredited, they are not. Check for yourself on the BBB website (see photos).

The staff was really professional and took good care wrapping, transporting and re-assembling furniture carefully. They were fast and careful, with not a single thing broken or scratched. Yay!

A smooth process from start to finish! The team arrived on time, worked hard, and got our move done quickly and efficiently.
