In my years of dealings, Ive gotten nothing but straight, honest, service. I dont rate them perfectly because the last star is reserved for places that are SO good, I have a genuine bias towards them (in a good way). This is still an auto repair place where no one is interested in doing backflips to make you feel comfortable and/or happy. No ones lying or screwing up either, but I subtract a star because no ones particularly friendly (besides Billy). If you go there or call, make sure you ask for Billy. He appears to be the backbone of everything being done right there.

Billy and Marty ran this place amazing for years and used them for the last 8 that I lived in the area. Any time there was an issue immediately were on it and always made sure to get car out by the end of the day. Go in today to find out the new owner who bought the place a couple of years ago let Billy go and when I asked about dealing with a leaky tire just gave me a puzzled look and said we are really busy and couldnt guarantee car back same day. Didn’t see another soul working. Never going back again, and hoping to find Billy at another shop soon being professional as always.

This place is fast and fair. They have always gotten right to work on my vehicle and have been ready within a day for pick up. My car has about 80k miles on it so Ive been to other repair shops, but unless Im stuck Im waiting to bring it here. Even then I would tow it here.

Excellent services and Convenient hours you could drop your car off late and leave the keys with the gas attendant reasonable price too

My car was there for 24 hours and they literally couldnt do an inspection and oil change which takes what....max 20 minutes? No call letting me know what the status was. Their phone was down so I walked there and the guy said they wouldnt get to it for a few hours. I took my keys. There is no chance I will give business to this place and I recommend you save yourself the hassle too.

Straight up... This place is a rip off... Dont go there.Yesterday I sent my wife in for an inspection... They refused to pass her saying that our rear brakes needed to be replaced along with other stuff. Almost $1,000 in repairs. (For the record, only front brakes need to be checked in order to pass), they still had the balls to charge her for an inspection.So, today I took my car a highly recommended mechanic by where I work. He tells me my brakes have another 8,000 to 10,000 miles before they need to be changed and that all I need is new wipers, and a tire rotation.Basically, these guys at Wantagh Car Care saw a woman come in by herself, and tried to take advantage, thinking she didnt have a clue what she was doing. Well I hope they get to read this review, as well as others I am leaving on various websites to know that they lost a good customer. I used to fill up each of my cars there on a weekly basis with gas.... NO MORE!!! THIS PLACE IS A BUNCH OF RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!

Honest, reliable service for over 20 years. Take your car nowhere else. Station is open 24 hours so night drop off not a problem.
