I called to see if they would help get it fixed and they are willing to help. Unlike other car lots they are very friendly and willing to help get the problem solved. This was one of the most terrible experiences anyone could encounter at a Buy Here Pay Here location. I was told a few years ago not to purchase a vehicle here so I never did. However, a close family member of mine did and a few days after purchase the car ran hot. My aunt called because she placed over $1000 down on a car that she thought would last at least a year without anything major occurring. The gentleman who answered the phone showed no concern at all knowing it was just sold and stated, Sorry, it was sold as is. No matter if that was the case or not, that is awful business and times are too hard for people to be taken advantage of like that. The motor was no good at all!!! Please be very careful where you take your business!!!!!!

WE WERE ABLE TO GET 2 CARS YES 2 CARS AND ONLY PUT DOWN A TOTAL OF $3000.00. ALSO WE ONLY PAY $600.00 DOLLARS PER MONTH FOR BOTH CARS ($300.00 PER CAR). Bought a car here last week,they did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Great group of guys to deal with. I was scrolling through looking at some of the negative reviews and a couple things came to mind. 1) They do buy here pay here type financing, which if you are using that service they offer,you have undoubtedly not been a very good steward with what you have been given and should be thankful that somebody would give you a second chance instead of leaving a bad review when you get your car repoed. 2) This is a used car lot not a new car lot, therefore there may be some cosmetic or other related things going on with a “used” car(They want a lot more for new cars) overall this is great lot to deal with and it has been my experience that they stand behind what they sell.

I have bought now 3 vehicles from here and every one of them have been perfect! My very first experience with Eagle was a couple years back when I bought a 90s model Jeep from them. To this day, that truck hasnt given me any major problems. My second purchase was a Ford Ranger. It is now my sisters daily driver and she couldnt be more pleased with the vehicle. My most recent purchase was a 2000 F250. I got a great deal on it and couldnt be more happier with the truck! When I purchased the truck everything was, and still is, in A+ working condition. They made sure they told me everything they knew about the truck before I rolled off the lot. The customer service at Eagle is top notch and they were nothing but upfront and honest with me with what I was purchasing every time. Its a guarantee that I will be returning to Eagle for my next car purchase!!

I messed up my credit, so I cant blame others. These people were kind and professional. I know because of my low score I had to go to a buy here pay here place. I went to 3 other lots and was pressured right away. Not here I was greeted with a smile, and after I told them what I could afford per month they gave me 5 car options and left it up to me to choose. They answered all the questions, didnt pressure me or try to give me more than I could afford. They even let me take it for a test drive and to have a shop check it over. If I would of handled my credit differently yes I would of bought a newer car, but like I said that was ALL MY FAULT. Thanks for being good hearted and honest people.

Dont waste your time or money.I bought a car from this location (05 Scion TC/manual) & within 3 weeks my car was in the shop getting a new motor put in it. The mechanics told me that the car was mistreated & the engine had so much stress on it that it finally blew out. I have spent over $6,000 just repairing the car to make it drivable, which is more than the car is worth. I wouldnt recommend purchasing a reliable vehicle here.

Said they are not responsible for whats on their website, rude young man didnt even introduce himself, immediately assumed I had poor credit. Informed me that if I could do so much better than a $2500 down payment on a 5yr old vehicle...then I could certainly go elsewhere...and I did. Sadly, he let a cash paying customer walk out the door. Bye bye $10, 000. The owner of this pitiful car lot should re think his choices on employees. Maybe think about getting into a reputable business??

We bought a car from Hamby in October...was told the car was in good condition. In the first two months we have had the car, we have put over $2,000 into it. Today we find out the there is still problems. Another $1,400 to repair this. These were all problems that rendered the car undriveable.. The Dealer told us these were problems that would have been found if the car had been checked out as we were told it was. Hamby said they would try to get us a better deal on the repairs...but has not done so (says he forgot...he doesnt forget the payments we owe him each month). We are waiting on Hamby now to see what he can do. Will keep you posted.

So then i get home and sparks are coming all out from under the dash. So i called to speak with the manager and he was its not my problem now i have emergency flashers when i turned the blinkerscon no brake light. But i did look up the 11 day lemon law on used cars

Ive purchased several vehicles from this location, the employees here are great and very open about any issues the vehicles have. They will also almost ALWAYS work with the customer, as long as you are communicating with them. Ive read alot of reviews on here about months later my cars in the shop....ANY TIME YOU BUY A USED VEHICLE IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE IT AND HAVE IT INSPECTED.AS IS, is just that. AS IS.. you arent going to make out like a bandit with a 2-5k cash car. Its probably going to need maintenance, of which no one will be able to forsee without an indepth inspection by YOUR mechanic of choice. Better hope hes certified as well, or else what he says is VOID.

Needless to say this business does not even deserve one star. There is only word to describe my experience at Eagle Auto Sales.....DISASTER. I purchased a vehicle from them in December 2015. It is now May and the vehicle has been in the shop for different repairs every month. Now of course when you purchase a used vehicle you expect a issue here or there but my God this vehicle had major issues. I have nicknamed it cant get right because every time you fix one thing another one breaks. It has been at the mechanics shop more than it has been in my drive way. I have been round and round with the salesman who refuses to allow me to trade the vehicle. The staff there is very inconsiderate and they just flat out dont care. They will continue to take your payment knowing the vehicle is no good. Since december a waterpump has been replaced, a gasket, starter, elecrical box, gear shaft and now the vehicle is leaking power steering fluid. These are just a few of the issues. This review is just to warn people about this place because Id hate to see anyone go through what I have been through. All I ask for is a reliable vehicle.

This is a honest review of Eagle auto sales formally known as Troy Hamby Auto, my personal experience with this company was not that great firstly I purchased a 2004 Acura TL on March 9 2015 with 144,xxx miles on it I was told the usual things its in awesome condition absolutely nothing is wrong with the car. My first week with the car I checked the spark plugs to make sure they didnt need changing to my surprise the spark plug tubes were filled with oil so that was repaired ($300) everything thing was fine from there about 2 months later the AC compressor started to make noises (sounded like a supercharger whine) so I took it to them since they said we will repair it ($525) when I picked the car up as soon as the car was pulled off the lot not even a mile down the road it ran hot, called them to let them know and they told me the mechanic would be back Monday (its Friday by the way) and I had to work Sunday so I went ahead and took it somewhere else ($425) afterwards everything was ok( and I made sure the car got everything thing it required meaning I take car of my vehicles like for example 3x3 drain and fill with genuine Honda ATF oil changes every 3 months New tires new brakes and spark plugs) so on on April 2nd 2016 on my way back from Atlanta the transmission blows(meaning smoke atf fluid everywhere and no more gears) had to have the car towed 100 miles home($176) got some quotes for repair/replacement ($2500-4000) long story short the car is back on the lot for sale not even a month later for sale @ $6995 with about 165k on the odometer things it needs the timing belt hasnt been replaced thatll cost you about ($700). So this was an honest review nothing against the people there its just an example to not trust the salesman get cars purchased from Eagle completely checked by your mechanic before purchase so you wont end up car less one year later

Bought a 2007 civic here over 2 years ago. After about the first 2 weeks of driving there was an air in the clutch line so I could barely shift gears plus the ac compressor wasnt working. They took care of the problem but the first question the salesman asked me if I want to split the cost of the ac compressor:) What does that tell you? You gotta be kidding me was my answer.Then after about 4 months of driving had to replace a started and a clutch. The car has had problems with the A.C. since I bought it. Wouldnt go buy a car there again. High prices and crappy cars.
