I just purchased a 22 Santa Fe from Five Star Hyundai of Warner Robins. This is my 5th vehicle Ive purchased over the years from Five Star. I simply wont shop anywhere else. Amazingly easy transaction. Hayden is a credit to your already fine company. Great sales associate and smart? Forget about it . . . he was answering questions about the Santa Fe before I could even ask them. If only every car sales person was like Hayden! Great experience.

Generally dont like vehicle shopping...But, I love to deal with dealers that are straight and honest. If thats you, this is the place to go. Atmosphere is great, not pushy, and friendly. Combined rating for this dealer is a 2.Five (5) stars for the Service Department and zero (0) stars for sales. The service staff have always had fantastic service whenever we needed to use them.As for sales, when going to purchase my 4th Hyundai (3rd at this dealer), sales staff told me they could get me the car I wanted shipped in since they did not have what I wanted in stock. What they didnt tell me was that they would add $5100 to the price once we sat down to talk figures.That is almost 12% of the price of the vehicle tacked on, because as I was told, the market would bear it.The market would not. We walked out and immediately contacted Potemkin Hyundai in Atlanta who actually had the vehicle. They were fantastic. The next day I drove to Atlanta and bought the car directly from them. That drive to Atlanta was much cheaper than $5100 and Potemkin Hyundai didnt play those those games. Really disappointed in Five Star.

This will be the last time I do business with a dealership. I bought a lightly used car from here last spring. I found the car online and came in to find out they were selling at a higher price. I was promised I would get the online price since I was an online lead. I signed off on the quote with a generous dealer fee. They switched the conversation to payments and were very forceful when I mentioned sleeping on the offer and coming back the next day. After signing the papers, I realized they had included $4k in additional service contracts when I live over an hour away. They also didnt honor the online price and charged their own retail price. Yes, I am gullible for believing they would honor the printed quote they presented and signed and not verifying the amount of payments. Of course, they became unresponsive in multiple attempts to cancel and get reimbursed for the service contract beginning the next business day. The salesperson and finance manager made many presentations that, in hindsight, were lies.

The salesperson was nice and seemed to be a little new. He took the time, though, to find answers to questions we had that he didnt know. However, we were extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service we got from the business manager. We had agreed to purchase our vehicle on a Saturday, but could not complete the transaction until Monday. Both my husband and I left work early and we ended up waiting for nearly 4 hours to get into the business managers office. People that had arrived after us were seen before us. When there, the business manager tried to tack on nearly $10k of extra stuff and was extremely shady about the cost. On the sheet with the salesman, the price of the vehicle was listed, but the monthly payments included the cost of these additional things with the remaining balance without any mention of these being included. While they werent technically lying, they sure were not being honest. When we got the actual signing of the paperwork, they tried to brush us by the amount we were actually financing to just sign it since we already agreed to the monthly payment. The business manager seemed off put when we questioned some of the values, and only seemed to give solid answers after being pushed. We quite literally spent our entire evening there waiting, paying a babysitter, missing out on dinner after working all day to have someone try to siphon out more money from the sale. If you plan to purchase a vehicle from them, I would highly recommend running the numbers yourself and carefully watch everything when you go to sign.

I was there for routine maintenance. Basically an oil change with fluids topped off. Outside of oily finger prints on my hood, I found service to be adequate. BMW service guys do not leave oily fingerprints when my car is serviced there. I expect the same level of courtesy!

I had an excellent experience here. The salesman who assisted me was Paul Lathrop. Paul is a good guy who genuinely cares about what you want. He was very helpful in showing me vehicles that were within my price range. I didn’t feel pressured to make a choice by him. In the end, I got a car that had all the features I wanted, that was in my price range, and I had a positive experience while doing so. UPDATE: In spite of taking the time to call and leaving a message, I never heard back from Jack.Brianna (Internet Sales Manager) was the STAR of the dealer, in my opinion. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is truly fantastic to work with! She was my very first contact with the dealer, and the only person I communicated with (other then Alex in finance) prior to going down to Warner Robins to purchase the car. She very professional at all times, and carefully listened to everything I said. She seemed to be waiting outside the main door of the dealer and seemed to know who I was upon my arrival, even through we had never met before, which was a nice touch. Car was detailed and ready for a final test drive.Hayden was pleasant to work with, although when I mentioned that the car only had a half tank of gas he did not take any action. I then texted Brianna and she made sure that the car was filled up before I left the dealer.Price as agreed on the phone, no surprises. There were some issues with processing my paperwork, which extended the buying process. We were going y to leave for lunch and come back, but instead my wife and I were surprised to be treated to lunch at the dealership as part of a special Mexican food buffett they had going on for their employees, and the food was very enjoyable! We were very appreciative of this special treat.I am taking off one star because of my interaction with Alex in Finance, who had forgotten the conversation we had on the phone about loan rates, and attempted to get me into a loan paying more than double the interest rate discussed on the phone. While the sad reality is that dealers want to make all the money they can, as a consumer I do not appreciate that in order to make a few hundred dollars more, a dealer would try to place a consumer in a much more detrimental loan to their finances. So for anyone reading this, my recommendation is to do your research BEFORE going to the dealer.10 days later, I’m loving the car and glad I drove 2 hours each way to get it, as I feel like I got a great value compared to other alternatives available for the same car in the metro Atlanta area, and had a great buying experience overall.

Overall, it wasnt a great experience. Their sales team is very good, but their finance and accounting department is a mess. If you dont finance with them or their recommended credit union, you get absolutely punished. They take weeks to process the loan and since I was out of state I had to wait for my loan to clear before they would ship me the car. And even after my loan cleared it still took them several days to locate the funds within their own accounting system. Once they found out that had my own financing they asked how much I was authorized to borrow, then maxed out the loan. Its not a great time to buy a new vehicle, and there are price increases across the industry, but this was probably one of the worst examples price adjustments. Id been without a car for several weeks, so I didnt have the time to shop around or I would have kept looking for a more reasonable deal.

We found the car online that had everything we wanted. It was at a different dealership so Alex Perry and Garret Cox made sure that we were able to go look at it. And test drive it. Garret was AMAZING! He was so down to earth and made the entire process as light hearted as possible. He kept us laughing the entire time. I’m giving a 5 bc my service was great. Each person I spoke with was nice and accommodating. And they fixed my ac like super fast when the part came in. It did take like 2 weeks for my part to come in but that wasn’t in their circle of control.The only thing I didn’t like (this is not services fault) was the calls I got from sales asking to buy my car back. If I wanted to sell my car I woulda did that instead of try to fix it. Not services fault that happened just something I think anyone should be aware of.This was my first time going to the dealership for anything involving repairs and the experience was nice.

Also the mark up on certain vehicles (palisade & telluride) is absolutely insane. Like I said earlier though GM was willing to work with us and we were able to come to an agreement. The crew at 5 Star went out of their way to make it right both with expert service and the right advice to get things straight with Hyundai America. Ive waited over a month to leave this review because I was really trying to give them the opportunity to make me happy. I shouldve made a fuss when my brand new tire was completely flat within 30 minutes of leaving the dealership. Instead I calmly and politely waited in a parking lot for over an hour for them to replace it. I was told then that theyd fix the error message I now had about the tire sensor when I came in to get the window tint I was promised. Two weeks later I went in for what I had thought was a scheduled appointment for both things. Apparently the salesman, Jeremy, didnt set anything up. I had to take a day off work for nothing. He assured me he would make it right by filling up my gas tank. Something he already promised and neglected to do when I purchased the vehicle. He set me up an actual appointment for the window tint but neglected to tell me to be prepared for a 3 hour wait time. Ive never had window tinting before and was only expecting about an hour so I had to reschedule again when I could be better prepared. Upon arriving for my new appointment I was informed 5 star switched companies and my appointment is no longer valid. Now missed 3 days of work for empty promises. I still have the error message Ive had since the tire debacle and I was told they cant help me and I have to find a Chevy dealership. So it is now my responsibility to correct their mistake. I bought this car on the promise of several perks I have not gotten and apparently never will. Even the one thing they managed to do was done incorrectly. Ive already made a payment and I still dont feel like I have what I purchased.

The only real thing that I didnt like about this past visit is that employees didnt seem to be on the same page. I informed an employee of my needs when I arrived and the employee that checked me out provided different information was wasnt aware of certain things that I needed. My girlfriend was looking to trade in her vehicle for a new Hyundai Santa Fe and she found one she wanted at Five Star. I am highly disappointed in this dealership and the way they treated me after I purchased my 2022 Hyundai Elantra SEL back in June. I started experiencing a lot of issues with the wireless Apple CarPlay immediately after purchasing the car. I called the service department and I was informed to bring it in so they can take a look at it. It did exactly as I was informed 3 times at that. They informed me that there’s a known issue with the Apple CarPlay due to the recent iOS software update and there’s nothing they can do. I would have to wait till Apple releases a fix, which they have no clue when that will be. In the meantime, the gentleman told me to use wired until then. Unfortunately, after trying multiple cords I realized my car doesn’t SUPPORT WIRED AT ALL!!!! When I first purchased my car, I informed the sales man how important having GPS is for my line of work. So I have to rely on the Apple CarPlay a great deal. Not to mention, the general Voice Command doesn’t even work without it being connected to Apple CarPlay!!!! My biggest concern was if they knew this was an issue why sale me the car knowing I can’t afford to not have reliable GPS and it’s the simple fact that I can’t even use the regular Bluetooth Voice Command without it being connected to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If I would’ve known this in advance I would’ve never purchased this vehicle at that moment and held on to my previous car that did support the cord Apple CarPlay. I’ve been to the dealership multiple times and they basically told me there’s nothing they can do for me; even after I was informed that my car supported wired Apple CarPlay and I had only had it for a couple days around that time. I even talked with the General Manager and he told me to use a dashboard mount in the meantime until Apple releases a fix for it, download Waves the App to use the GPS, or purchase an android phone to use Android Auto instead. I was taken aback, because I could not get myself to understand why I have to do all of this extra work for a BRAND NEW car that I had just purchased, that should already be working properly without having to work around anything. That’s not fair to me at all!!! I also informed them numerous of times that I don’t feel safe driving this car due not being able to use the regular Bluetooth Voice Command and no being able to connect to Apple CarPlay as it works when it wants to. I don’t know what else to do at this point and I have tried everything. It sucks to be in this position, especially when it seems like no one cares. Don’t get me wrong I love the car itself, but the most important features I need like Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth Voice Command continues to give me major problems and now I’m sick with this car. They are quick to stay it’s not on them, because it’s an Apple issue. I completely understand that, but I didn’t buy the car from Apple. I purchased the car from them.lastly, I was even promised complementary tints with the purchase of my new car and when I called to set up an appointment. I was told they didn’t have it documented in the paperwork, so they can only honor 50% off the tint service. I have had it with this dealership and they have definitely lost a loyal customer for good!!!! Which is crazy because I purchased my last car from them; traded that one in to purchase the car I have now. This will definitely be the last Hyundai I ever buy.

My wife needed a new car as her other car had mechanical issues. We decided to trade it in but having never done this she went to the dealership with plenty of reservations. The salesman she talked to, ashley, was very accommodating and helpful. He answered all of her questions, and was very attentive to what she was looking for. We will be back when we are ready for another car.

We bought a Hyundai Sante FE in Mar 21. This is our 5th or 6th car from a five star dealership in Warner Robins, 2nd one from this dealership, and it will be my last. I have never been treated as poorly at a car dealership as I have been at this one. I received a letter from Hyundai on about 25 Apr 21 saying Hyundai Financial will no longer be financing our vehicle. I called the Hyundai dealership and they stated they messed up on the financing paperwork and it was resubmitted on 19 Apr 21, almost 30 days later. They said first payment would be due about 30 days from the time they resubmitted the paperwork. The following week we received a statement from Hyundai Financial and we were already almost 30 days late. Called Hyundai Financial and they said there was nothing they could do. We called the dealership and told them our concern about it hitting our credit report since this was no fault of our own. They said if it hit out credit report then they would do a letter on out behave explaining there error. It did hit our credit report so we called them and asked for a letter. The refused to write us one. We called and left several messages for the General Manager, Jack Calhoun, and he never returned our phone call. We had an appointment with him a couple of weeks at 1215. When we showed up we were told he just went upstairs for training and they would get him. Then they came back and told us he went to lunch. Then 5 minutes later they came back and told us he was in a managers meeting off campus. This dealership is incompetent from the top down. Do yourself a favor and drive to Macon or Atlanta if you are looking for Hyundai. This dealership does not care about there customers.

Brianna was fantastic in locating and selling me a 2021 Santa Fe Limited today. I have had some issues in the past with car sales employees but she proved to me that she genuinely cares about the customer. I recommend anyone considering purchasing their next car to contact her!As a side note to the process, I initially spoke to her on the phone about my interest in the coming month or two about my thoughts in purchasing the Santa Fe. I mentioned what I expected to pay for it when I was ready. Few weeks later, she texted me with an offer that was thousands BELOW my expected price! I’m so glad I decided to stop here. I was driving by and only decided to stop and browse. Jeremy Koone came out and greeted me and was very helpful at answering all of my questions. Went to Five Star Hyundai of Warner Robins not sure if I even wanted to walk away with one. Our Salesman Garrett Cox was extremely helpful and made sure we got the attention we needed to get the answers to all our questions. I know we were there about total of 4 or 5 hours looking at different SUVs. They did not have the exact vehicle that I had been looking for. It seemed to be a rare spec of exterior color, interior color & trim package. I had been looking at inventory online for a couple of months anywhere within 150 miles to no avail. Within minutes they found one in Tennessee and had it on its way that night. It came in the next morning only to realize that it did not have the interior color that I requested. They got right back on the phone and found another one in N.C. and had it there the next day. I live 90 miles from the dealership so they actually offered to have it delivered to my home for my convenience. I was impressed by how much they were willing to do to accommodate me instead of saying they couldnt find one and sending me on my way.
