The donuts here are absolutely delicious! They remind me of the donuts I had as a little girl....Not overdone with fuss and frill! Just soft, amazing, fresh, yeast donuts!Just the right amount of glaze!The chocolate frosted ones are so yummy!!The staff is also very friendly!

I live just a few blocks away and I always absolutely love getting their doughnuts and the sweet people that work there are always a pleasure to talk to and always so kind. Not only do they have delicious fresh doughnuts bright and early, (or you can come get doughnuts throughout the day if youre not a morning person) but they have hot and cold coffee drinks as well. Also if youre in the mood to just sit at a table and enjoy your snack and read the newspaper, they have tables too. And there is enough space between them to social distance. Its also inside the BP gas station so if you need gas or any convenient store items its a one stop shop 😊

I came here (Detroit donut) today. And I have been looking for Red Bull and I didn’t find it. Then I asked the little lady. She was on front as cashier and I asked her 3 times “ Excuse me where’s the Red Bull, can you show me pleases. But she dont have any reply, any response. She was very rude and doesnt know how to behave with customer. Then i get a headphone and asked her how much is this. But she doesnt have any response..Please let her know how to behave with customer.

Bought one dozen donuts at 2 am on 11/12/19 paid 9.00. They were two days old if not 3 days old . The donuts were crunchy. Not fresh. Employees can bareley speak English. I will not go there again and pay good money for old stale over priced donuts. Sweetheart bakery on 13 and mound sells day old donuts 1.75 for 6 and they taste fresh.

Never again will I be going to this location! I got donuts Saturday morning had one left went to eat it and and felt something hard! It was a piece of glass in the donut! It was one of the chocolate cream filled donuts! I have a two year old he wanted it Im glad I didnt give it to him!

Delicious!!Ive been craving good donuts for weeks and have had a range of mediocre and plain bad. Detroit Donuts, I saw across the road in my way to somewhere else and had to stop. SO HAPPY I did!Even at noon on a Saturday they had a very good selection still. Everything I wanted anyway. I tried the blueberry which is something I normally wouldnt in the land of custard and chocolate. Excellent!! Beautiful real blueberry and the moistest dounught Ive ever had.I have no doubt the other kinds will be just as good.8 donughts for less than $8 Is unheard of to me. The fact that they are this quality feels like Im taking advantage of them. The employees are incredibly helpful and friendly, even when swamped and dealing with that one customer that wasnt even buying donughts.It is in a gas station, but this is a plus to me. I only wish there was one on my route to work from Ferndale to Detroit. Espicially with the gas station and fully stocked convience store, it would most definently be my regular place.Im very impressed and will certainly stop again whenever Im over this way.Thank you Detroit Donut for bring back my faith in finding a great donut. You are awesome!

They have 3 for 3 beers here. I bought 3 single cans. Now one of them rang up for 4.49 i know for a fact it was a 4pk pulled apart as singles. Now i didnt relaize they charged me 4.49 for one beer until i got to my car. Went back in to get my change. And they say yeah thats what you got i explained that they are 3 for 3 and one passed the problem to another cashier speaking Indian. She forst said that one single blue moon 16oz WAS 4.49 lol so i brought them up the 4pk that rings 4.49 so then she suggest i just take the 4pk. OH I SHOULD HAVE BECAUSE when syes figuring out the change she tries to only give me 1 dollar and some loose change. I saod yoy ow me like 3.50 back abd the ither cashier laughs and says look youre getting money back....
