I think about this place all the time. Its been about 4-5 years since I last visited. Practically lived here in college. Having a bunch of other coffee joints under my belt since moving back to the KC area in 2017, I can confidently assert that Java Junction is the best coffee Ive ever had. Art is amazing at his craft. The quality is unmatched. 10/10 would recommend visiting if youre looking for a new coffee shop to haunt.

Cozy and cosmopolitan, this independent coffee shop is everything a coffee shop should be. Excellent coffee is paired with a warm and inviting ambience in a space with original high ceilings, exposed brick walls, good natural light, and plenty of seating to stay awhile to work, think, read, or converse. Try the cranberry orange muffins served in flower pots: the best anywhere!

Beautiful little coffee shop. Kids had some smoothies, they loved. I had an iced coffee, it was great. Everything was clean and tidy. Staff, he was polite. The hours are a bit weird but if you can catch it open, stop in.

Not just a great coffee shop but a great roaster with excellent sourcing as well. Highly recommended and don’t forget to buy some beans for home use.

I really like this mom and pop coffee shop! The coffees are fresh and full bodied. The owners are friendly and know their business. I like to stop in and enjoy a delicious cup of fresh brew with my wife as we soak up the warm welcoming atmosphere. And since I grew up in Junction Texas, I really am partial to the name.

The owner makes the best tasting lattes in town. Very consistent flavor. He roasts his own mix there in the shop. The shop is rarely busy, but steady, and it provides a nice atmosphere for reading, writing or visiting. Everything is clean and he seems to enjoy kids antics.

Coffee here is delicious. The owner helped train the roasters at Messenger Coffee in Kansas City. He’s a coffee expert and the product quality here is high.

Staff is always pleasant, never had a bad cup of coffee from them. Great place, great prices. What more can you ask for?

The barista is also the owner. Hes friendly and knows whats going on in town. The coffee is excellent, and its a great atmosphere. I have visited here 3 times in the last 18 months and the quality is consistent.
