Man, I love this place. Staff members like Kalista, Maddie, and Gavin are very welcoming! The manager, Rachel, is always there to greet me and always recommends the best options if youre ever unsure about what to order. The people here love Warrensburg and it shows! There are a few things though that have gone without fixing and theyre slowly tarnishing the feel of Old Drum.1. The hours of operation vinyl on the front window is destroyed. At first I had to guess when they were open and rely on Google.2. There are flies ALL OVER THE PLACE on the front window tables (it is not unusual to have to wipe off a fly or two from a table before sitting at those tables).3. The top Vinyl banner at the front window states that this is a bakery, but they dont bake their goods, so that must be from before the ownership switch. They dont bake fresh breads anymore. Thats old.4. There isnt much of a theme to the coffeehouse and the decor has become pretty bland and plain.5. Finally, the prices from the chalkboard menu and what one officially pays for are different. If you order a drink from the board, double check the price. It seems that their machine doesnt match up with the board and one could be paying more or sometimes less than what is posted.This may look like a negative review, but its not. I have been coming here since arriving in Missouri and I have never had a negative experience. They deserve 5 Stars and they do a lot with the local community of Warrensburg. I list these items because I care about the place and want to see it succeed. I cant wait to see what comes next for Old Drum!!! ❤(Photos taken last year)

Walking into the warm shop, the fragrant smell of coffee and pumpkin spiced drifted over to me and I couldnt keep the smile off my lips. I went to place an order but had no idea what I wanted- the staff there gave me one look and created such an amazing drink that I figured there was some magic going on. They knew exactly what would appeal to me and the staff was all so polite and conversational, really making me feel welcome. The barista who made me my order, I think it was Gavin, I was shocked to find out he wasnt the manager because he knows the place and the people so well. Five stars! And Im definitely coming here again!

Im posting this in response to anyone upset about Saturday.The employees that day did a great job keeping up with the mass amount of people coming in, especially with the fairly small staffing. I come here fairly often and I have nothing but positive experiences with great coffee.

The best coffee in Warrensburg! A lovely place in beautiful downtown. Great for meeting friends, working on homework or enjoy a quick bite in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We will be back and would highly recommend to anyone passing through.

This is a lovely coffeehouse inside and out. I got a brown sugar latte which was delicious but did take quite a while to receive after ordering, and we were the only customers at the time. They did end up giving us free drink coupons for next time but I live in KC so not sure those will get used.Also got an egg biscuit sandwich with bacon - which unfortunately I would not recommend. The outside was really hot and the inner egg was cold. It was basically a microwaved sandwich.All in all I would go back for the coffee for sure. Also there is an adorable little shop across the street to browse while you are drinking your coffee!

Pros- the coffee, and specifically, the chipotle sandwich, are great. The employees are the friendliest of most places Ive been. Cade is an 80s throwback, Hunter is a sweetheart, Gavin breathes southern charm, and I saw someone the other day dressed as cheech for Halloween.Cons- the flies are bad. I know the staff try to swat them all and set traps, but clearly the owners need to hire someone. The food is overpriced for glorified cafeteria food, even if made perfrctly.Still gonna keep coming here, you guys are still doing a better job than the previous owner. But the problems I see, seem to be mainly things the owners, specifically, should fix and adjust.Hope I dont come off as crass

New ownership has brought a bright open feel to the coffee shop. Both the food and coffee are delicious. I recommend the waffle sandwich or the loaded burrito.

Took a hour to get 2 breakfast sandwiches, sadly wasn’t even worth the wait, honestly a pathetic excuse for how much we paid for them. The coffees we got barely had any flavoring in them that you also had to pay extra for. Overall it was just overpriced for what you get !

I didn’t go inside here but my husband did… we both had yummy paninis, I had the Chipotle Chicken and my husband a BBQ one. They make them with a chewy artisan like bread😊 coffee was yummy as well, we had a mocha and and a vanilla latte, oh and the chips they serve with the paninis were so yummy as well! Kettle cooked!

Great cup of joe! I had seasonal peppermint late& an oatmeal cookie. So yummy!!!!

From the time you walk in to walking out it is a warm and welcoming feel. A good place to order coffee and a pastry and just hang out for a while. Coffee is good and better than a Starbucks. Will definitely be back.

Had the salted Carmel ice latte. It was good. Wish they had some bagels or something for breakfast

Just tried a panini on their new extended menu. It was sooooo…. Delicious

So delicious, sad I didnt discover this place sooner. I really like that they offer a refreshing variety from the ordinary selection of drinks, compared to most other coffee shops. Their food is delicious too, my new favorite spot.

I’m only posting this review because I wish I would of known this prior to going. They charge you $1.75 extra to use oat milk as a substitute. Their other milk substitute is almond milk for .50¢ (however, I am allergic to almonds). I paid over $6.00 for a small latte with no add ons (which added flavors are an extra .50¢ a piece at that)! It was not that spectacular of a latte to justify that price especially for a small. I gave one extra star for them at least offering oat milk which is great, just very expensive.

YUM! Ordered the bacon, spinach and cheese quiche...so good and cheesy. Nice cup of mocha in a mug made it just perfect.

Much room for improvement.This coffee place manages to ruin even the simplest of drinks. The espresso tastes like it was roasted weeks in the past and that its being pulled way too hot. I cant attest to the actual methods being employed by the baristas, but a place with such an excellent and small town vibe should be expected to produce better coffee than Starbucks.The service is excellent and more than friendly. I just wish the quality of coffee met the quality of atmosphere and service.

I dont think theres a single thing about this place I dont like. The food and drinks are tasty and their prices are more than reasonable. They have a public bathroom, a good amount of seating, and a fun chalkboard where they write a question of the day.

Today I had an iced mocha and a blended matcha green tea. They were both amazing! Atmosphere was good for chatting or doing homework. They have some comfortable couches to sit on, they even have a backroom where you could have a bigger group of you wanted.

Cannot say enough good things about OD. I love the Question of the day board. Home town hero’s with fantastic drinks! Hearts full of compassion, and cups full of coffee!

This is a cozy, friendly coffee house with good desserts and coffee. The White Chocolate Mocha is very good, as well as the cinnamon rolls and breakfast burritos. I like the rustic decor and historical references to the Old Drum story.

Relaxed, good service. Chai latte was good and hot. No problem with my request for a mug rather than a paper cup.

A lot of things to like in a coffeehouse: friendly service, personable baristas that dont rush you, quality coffee, clean environment. They were out of the cookies I would have opted for because we visited late in the day, so we went with a day old cinnamon roll. It was better than many places fresh pastries. I look forward to an earlier visit and really trying their baked goods.

LOVE the lattes here, the best in town. I always look forward in coming here. Very warm atmosphere, great staff and service. Good variety of baked goods. Wonderful place to meet up with friends, do a little light reading, homework or just a quick stop for a caffeine recharge.

Under new management/ownership. They were kinda slow the day I was there but it was steady busy. Good coffee, plenty of options, will work with you on making it your way. They offered pastries, quiche, and other food options as well. A lot of original artwork on the walls that is available for sale. Good atmosphere, but to me the traffic flow is a little cluttered.

An historical location across from the county courthouse. Legendary name. The coffee is fresh, and reasonably priced. Its a bakery also, with what appears to be freshly-baked treats. Good ambience.

Cozy, comfortable, nicely lit place to get a coffee. Many coffee selections offered, though I will always select regular coffee. Some baked goods available. A most interesting place. Loved the atmosphere.

This is a cozy relaxed coffee shop. Delicious muffins. They offer donated menu items that random customers had paid for to help others. They also sell local artwork.

Not many other options around so we decided to go here. One person runs the entire place do its a bit slow and my coffee wasnt exactly the best.

Nice place to get coffee in Warrensburg and I love that they have suspended items for people in need.I wouldnt consider this place child friendly, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. But its good to know in advance :)

I visit Old Drum almost every day. The service is sincerely friendly, the atmosphere is calm (as a coffeehouse should be), and there are many, many options. Old Drum is a good place to get homework done or just hang out.

Every Barista has listened attentively and made my drink perfect every time! I love the atmosphere. Generous servings too!

Love the local aspect of the place and they have delicious coffee. They also have a delicious lavender London fog.

I just discovered this place and let me tell you about the flourless chocolate cookie. Its slightly crispy on the outside, but as you bite into it, theres this soft chocolatey goodness that melts in your mouth. Ugh, it is soooo satisfying. Its even better with a latte :)

Lots of drink options! Bakery stuff is good too, I really like that you can choose your milk. Great place to support local business instead of going to scooters or starbucks.

This spacious coffee house has abundant seating and an in-house bakery. We were very happy with the cappuccino we tried. It seems like a great community gathering place.

Back room is nice for a small meeting room. Tasty beverages and good menu.

My husband and I have been coming to Old Drum CHB (CoffeeHouse and Bakery) for years; in fact, we were some of the very first customers when it was in a smaller location, on a different street, with a different owner! We were slightly concerned when we found out there would be a new owner, but we have been pleasantly surprised; theyve kept the same awesome bakery items and a huge menu of drink options. They have drip coffee, hot teas, and a full espresso menu -- anything you could possibly come up with, but with better flavor than your big chain coffee shops. The personal touch and small-town feel are what we love most; by your 3rd or 4th visit, these guys will know your face, and they greet everyone with a friendly smile everytime. There are 3 other coffee shops in town, but this coffeehouse is our home, haha.

This place is cute. Long line the day we went, but it was homecoming. I did have an issue with their lack of gluten free options. Also my wifes chai tea was all chai. Way too much chai. My drop coffee was great. They use roasterie coffee, awesome and local.
