This is some of the best coffee Ive ever had! I ordered the sampler set and it arrived SO quickly. What great service!
I have had a monthly subscription for 3 lbs of coffee/month for several years now. I love the coffee, that it is grown organically & sustainably and that it is roasted in a solar roaster. They have a tremendous selection of coffees from around the world, and have recently started offering coffees from women’s collectives. Amelia the owner is one of the hardest working small business owners Ive ever met and is so dedicated to providing a great product, a positive work environment for employees and a memorable experience for her customers. Running a business is hard, especially during COVID. Nevertheless, she persisted! Support local businesses!!
At the Live Oak Farmers Market my $5.50 cortado was tepid and Arnold Palmer took 20 minutes. Zero hustle.
Too expensive! Spent like $10 on an easy sandwich. Wasnt acknowledged by the owner. She acknowledged everyone else. Her paintings on the wall seemed to be racially biased.
I visit this coffee booth most Sundays at the Live Oak Farmer’s Market and am so happy to support a yummy, small independent roaster. It is SO BIZARRE to me that they don’t have the ability to make a normal, very standard size 16oz cold brew. Every single time I go, it is a confusing discussion of whether to only get 12, or to get super strong 20 oz in my 16oz thermos. Every coffee shop I’ve ever been to has 16oz options for everything, and everyone I know uses a 16oz clean canteen. So, what’s the deal?
You guys seriously need a bell, I yelled hello for ages and didnt get attended to for a good two minutes
Wonderful coffee. Welcoming staff. Affordable prices. We ordered two plain lattes which came out great. The latte had just the right amount of froth and the coffee taste was robust and delicious. Will definitely return.
Totally amazing find! They roast all their coffee in the back (its a little off the beaten path in an industrial parking lot). And I would have taken a picture of my bagel but it was the best Ive ever had. Strongly recommend this place 👍
As coffee lovers we are always looking for real coffee places (besides Starbucks,..). This place was just amazing. The coffee and the food are remarkable. Its definitely hidden, but you need to visit!
I wanted to give this place another shot, since it is right down the street, but I regret that I did. The manager simply does not know how to talk to people or start a conversation correctly. First time I came in, she ignored me for 8 minutes while I was in line, and ever since it was always awkward. This time, I did not know I was not allowed to have a dog in the waiting area, and instead of politely asking me to wait outside, she abruptly yells you cant have dogs in here! and proceeds to awkwardly stare at me while I collected my cold sandwich I asked to have heated up. Not too mention, the food and drinks are super expensive for quality that is clearly from CostCo. This shop is only good since there is nothing else close by, and that is also the only reason it is still around. This was my last time there. If you can get to a Starbucks or anything else, you will be better off. I will be trying to convince my co-workers to take their business elsewhere. Also, I know I left a review previous to this one and it was removed. I know for a FACT that there were multiple negative reviews. Be aware, the business is probably removing negative reviews by claiming they are not true.
Delicious pastry, great selection of organic coffees, and the barista was so warm and friendly! The location isnt quite right in maps- its at the far end of the complex that maps drops you at, in unit 270. Worth searching for it!
Hidden Fortress coffee may seem weird at first because of its location, but once you step inside its super nice and cozy. A lot of options in the menu and the cashier was super nice and welcoming and chatty. They have their own farm and produce almost everything themselves I believe. They also have sheep milk in the fridge next to the entrance! Which is something Ive never heard of haha. Not to mention their coffee tastes super good👌I would definitely visit Hidden Fortress again when I pass by the city!! They also have a little reward card saying buy 9 get the 10th coffee free. Whats not to love about that❤️
As nice/friendly as a place can be! My go to for lunch! Highly recommend the soup/sandwich deal- the hot tuna is amazing :)
Great tasting food and coffee
Very lovely cafe. Awesome barista!
Hidden Gem!! If you are in the area take the time to check them out. Local organic deliciousness
Cute, friendly, great coffee and food. Definitely hidden, but worth the trip!
Coffees outstanding, yummy homemade soup. Call ahead if youre in a hurry.
Great coffee shop, got a cold brew today and it was excellent and service was very friendly. I went there straight from the sleep center in Capitola where I got a bunch of blood tests - so I think they may have thought I was on drugs because of all the poke marks in my arm hahaha...But they were non judgemental. :p
Colorful descriptions of the many different blends of both coffee & tea...Brewed or by the drip. Food is amazing using Local Dairy Farmers & Small & Local Businesses...I no longer have to drive out of town for a potent cup of Hot or Cold Brew its finally come to Watsonville...Hidden Or tucked away on the outskirt of Watsonville.
