I opted for the all day appointment so they could work on my windshield when they had time. Despite not having a specific appointment, my car was done within 1 hour of Safelite opening! Text messages were sent to me when my car was being worked on and I received a phone call when it was ready for pick up. More than impressed!

Fit me in when I failed to confirm the appointment (I thought I had made). Everyone was very professional. The service was impeccable, job was done so quickly (under the time quoted in fact). Very happy and would highly recommend!

My car got broken into and I made an appointment over the weekend. I ended up missing the scheduled time and having to rush over to the shop which was over 15min away. I got to the shop and within an hour my car was serviced and ready to go. I was astonished by their hospitality and readiness to help you and get you back on the road. Had a rock chipped my windshield. Took the car in, they filled it but you could still see the chip/damage. They said they dont do cosmetic work. Talked to insurance, decided to put the new windshield. Dave tech, very nice guy, who explains everything throughout, whole process and very polite and friendly. He replaced the windshield within 2 hours and also calibrated the front camera. Not sure if you can request a specific tech to work on your windshield, but if you could, Dave would be your guy!

When I handed the keys to the service guy, I told him that the interior of the car was just cleaned and to make sure they clean up any mess they might make. He assured me that is there policy but big surprise they did not such thing. The interior was left dirty with dirty footprints left all over the floor mats and steps on both sides of car, a scratch on the body of the car next to the window and they did not reconnect the washer fluid hose. I had to go to the dealer to have them reconnect it. They told me it would take four hours to replace the windshield, but they managed to finish it in an hour and a half! Horrible, do not go here, I told my insurance company to also stop recommending them. I tried to contact them directly but was unable to get a hold of anybody at the location.

Well this may not be a fair review, but I was merging onto an expressway behind a cement truck, when I could finally get around it to proceed onto the expressway, I heard a huge POP sound, looked back and the rear passenger side window was gone - well after I quickly glimpsed the last few pieces drop down. I have no idea what caused this - a rock from the truck? Some object thrown from the truck? No evidence in my car. Anyway...I set up an appointment and was told 2 days later that the product was not attainable and that I should contact my car dealer...and that was that. I have a 2008 Hyundai - is that something rare??? They offered no further assistance in the matter - not that I think they should, but it still pisses me off. Again, this may not be a fair review of their services, but...

Telephone answering system was a maze. Finally reached a person who tried a high pressure pitch for add ons I didnt need. Wanted credit card info and license plate number up front. $10 disposal fee! Really? Went to Glass Pro and saved over $100.

Was very Happy with the service. Was in and out in less than 30 min with a small chip in my windshield. Technician even went above and beyond washing all my windows and vacuumed out the front seats. Will definitely be giving them my business in the future.

I had my windshield repaired by Safelite using my West Bend Mutual Insurance program. West Bend Mutual covered my repair fee and waived my deductible as part of their comprehensive auto package. I was happy with both my insurance provider and Safelite. My technician was knowledgeable and the service was done quickly (within 30 minutes). I had a same day appointment and was back on the road in no time. I would recommend safe lite to anyone needing a windshield repair or replacement.

Waited two weeks for an appointment only to be called the day of my scheduled service to be informed that they didnt load my glass on the mobile truck. On their second attempt after another two week wait I was told that the molding that surrounds the glass had not been ordered. At that point I had the tech install the glass without the trim because at that point there were people that drove 25 miles in one direction to be at my home to open the garage. Tech did a good job with what he had but obviously couldnt attach a molding that was never ordered. I will look elsewhere for my next glass replacement.

I had a pit in the windshields of each of my cars: 2002 Honda Accord and 2014 Honda Odyssey. They were repaired in October. Less than two months later, the Accord pit repair progressed into a crack requiring a windshield replacement. Less than one month later (three months after repair), the Odyssey windshield required replacement because the repaired pit progressed into a crack. I understand how the repair may not take. (I read that 3% of Safelite repairs ultimately result in windshield replacement.) I feel I was struck by lightning twice. I do not know if the technician did not set the machine up correctly or the machine malfunctioned or what happened.I called customer care and was basically told, Stuff happens.I am giving Safelite 1 star because A) of the failure of both pit repairs and B) for the attitude of the two customer care representatives.

They came to my work location for free and replaced my windshield in 45 minutes. Safelite would have had me come in 5 days later, and said service could take 1-2 hours. Lady at the front was so nice to me and employees seemed really kind spirited. Only my problem lies with the price change I experienced. They told me to replace my windshield would cost 186$ and some change, but when reminded the day before about my windshield replacement, told me then Id be paying closer to 350$... nearly double of what I was told. Wasnt happy about that and cancelled my appointment. I also applied here for a office job, they told me they would have someone reach out to me the next day, even though I had already called previously. Cant be straight forward with prices and dont make any effort to hire when needed.

Recently had a major crack on my windshield. Safelite has competitive pricing and extremely knowledgeable technicians. The service was quick, clean, performed in a safe manner, and easy from start to finish. Customer service greatly assisted me when selecting the correct windshield which had me worried. 10/10 would recommend. based on my professional experience with Safelite, other glass repair companies should model after Safelite if not already doing so.

Receptionist was nice but not helpful. Just came in for a simple look at a couple rock chips. Waited over half an hour and had to leave since I was trying to get an idea as to a new windshield or just a repair and had time contraints. Told receptionist I had to leave and she says oh, no one came out to help you? She gave me a card. I threw it on the ground as I drove away. Nope.

Two years ago my rear window blew out on my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. The install was delayed because they didnt have this glass in stock. When they did install it, the fit is terrible and it rattles over every bump in the road.I did have the guy that installed the glass look at it and he said this is the best they could do. Safelites best work caused them to lose my business.

If I could give the Pewaukee branch over 5 stars I would.A rock hit my windshield earlier today and created 2 VERY small nicks in it.Since I just bought the car a month ago, I wanted to make sure that I immediately got it taken care of; even if it appeared to be cosmetic and didnt run a risk of spider webbing out and creating a crack. My wife suggested that I go to safe lite since she had been to another branch and had a great experience to see what they could do to fix it.I went online and was able to make an appointment at 2:30 and was able to make an appointment for 3:30. I went in and was immediately greeted by the receptionist. As soon as I set down one of the employees immediately greeted me and went outside to look over my car with me.Because it was such a minor thing, the employee helping me (unfortunately I dont remember his name) let me know this was something so minor they dont charge anything to fix it and that itd take about 10 minutes to complete.10 minutes later my car was done and he informed me that he also vacuumed out my car. Not only will I go back to Safelite in Pewaukee if I need a window repaired or replaced; but I would proactively mention them to anyone that needs a window repaired or replaced. Could not be happier. Thanks again for such great experience from start to finish!

I just had a side window replaced by a tech named Shannon. My car was unfortunately dead after sitting in the cold and unknowingly with a light left on. Shannon helped me get the car jumped and running again and also recommended what type of battery I should get for my next replacement. He went above and beyond in making sure all my connections were secure and making sure the car was running for a little bit before he left. He was very kind and joking the whole time and never made me feel like I was taking up too much time. He arrived in a timely fashion and did a fantastic job. This was my very first experience with Safelite and I could not be happier. Thank you so much!

I had a chip which they came to the house to repair. I wasnt happy with the repair as you could still see the hole. The manager came to the house and confirmed it was fixed. Now a few months later a huge crack. Brought in for repair and was told 90 minutes so I waited. 2.75 hours later. Ridiculous. Best I can say is very friendly and professional staff. I will not use again.

Very quick to fix my windshield

As I was running errands right before I was to go on a mini vacation, a truck threw a rock that hit my windshield. After a phone call to my insurance agency who contacted Safelite I was set up for an appointment within a half hour. Once I arrived at the appointment, a technician explained that although the crack was pretty deep and would still be a little noticeable, he assured me that it would be as strong as new. Within 30 minutes the repair was completed as promised.

Window needed fixing after being chipped on the freeway. Joe was prompt, friendly, and efficient. The repair is not noticeable unless you REALLY search for it and know where the chip was. Definitely would call Safelite again!

No consideration for customers time. Had a schedule from 12p-5p, they didnt bother to call until 4 minutes before 5pm. I recommend choosing a different location if possible.

I would not recommend. I have scheduled a mobile service multiple times now. almost every time I am told the technician will arrive between 12-5 PM and time over time the technician will call 5 minutes prior to 5 saying they are running and hour of so behind. So I ask them to reschedule since they had all day. and now here I am 1 month later from my original appointment and I am stilling waiting for a window. this is ridiculous!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will damage your vehicle. Search the complaints on the BBB and you will see for yourself. They break things, do not replace things properly and cause more damage, including water damage. Stay FAR FAR away!!EDIT after Safelites response. Youve been called, that does absolutely nothing to resolve the damage to our vehicle. The only thing they do is transfer me back to the Waukesha location. The management there will not take my calls and does not return my calls.

Terrible experience...still waiting for someone to call me back about my awful service 3 months ago. No one from the operations manager to the store manager will show me any respect with a return phone call. They know they were in the wrong & in my opinion, are ignoring me...their customer. AWFUL customer service & way to treat a customer!!! I will be telling everyone I can to avoid using Safelite.

My windshield was cracked so I took it in for repair. Got it fixed up but then saw they charged me for 2 windshield wipers that I did not ask for. I followed up with customer service multiple times and they did not get back to me.Their lack of follow through left a bitter taste with the whole experience. I would not recommend going here.

After I discovered that I needed a special tool to remove my rearview mirror, I began the countless search for help. Not even the car dealers or any shop around knew what to do. Went here after I remember they replaced my wind shield a while back and took a total of 2 seconds. Best window service out there hands down.

I had my windshield replaced by safelite for a large crack. The website was easy to use to get a quote and schedule my appointment. The technician was on time and knew a LOT about windshields. He answered all of my questions and was very informative and pleasant. I learned a lot and got a great value, my new windshield is perfect! It looks great, I cant tell that its a replacement, it looks like the original... only cleaner.

Safelite will destroy your windshield then demand extra money to replace it.I made the mistake of paying Safelite to repair a 1/4 inch chip in my windshield. The Safelite technician showed up about 20 minutes late and made my 1/4 inch chip into a 4 inch crack. Within a week of these repairs the crack grew to over 8 inches. Today, it is well over 2 feet long.First, Safelites customer service would not respond at all. When I finally got ahold of of someone, I was told I would receive a call withing 48 hours. I didnt. After calling the third time, they demanded $270 more to replace the damage they caused. After paying $130 for repairs, that comes out to $400. You can get it replaced for $300 at a reputable company. Save your money and stay far away from these people.

Installer came and installed my cracked windshield at my home. At completion, passenger side APillar molding didn’t fit correctly and the windshield glass shifted during installation process which left an inch gap at the top of the windshield.. I addressed with the tech and he tried to sell it as an aftermarket windshield.. yeah.. what a joke.. anyway, I drove the car to Safelite location and the supervisor immediately saw the issue and rescheduled me for 10 days later... turned out to be a freaking nightmare 🥵🥵🥵

I had my windshield replaced last summer and upon picking up my car, I noticed that the windshield cowl didnt look flush or correct against my car. I asked a tech at Safelite about it, and he simply replied its fine. A little over a week ago, a certified VW mechanic told me the cowl was installed improperly and because of the stress on it, had broken. I called Safelite in Waukesha, WI, and they have been giving me the run around for almost two weeks...asking why there is such a large gap in time for the claim, even though they have already admitted an improper install.First they told me the part would be ordered right away, and a manager would call me first thing. Then they said the part was ordered and I had to come in to the shop and have it installed. It suddenly changed to them saying it was recently ordered and I have to wait to get an appointment. Now, I get a call asking when the original install was completed and why I waited till now to contact them.I have no words. Being a broke college student, I cant afford to just have this fixed somewhere else and having a broken cowl with possible exposed electrical connections in the dead of winter is not something Im looking forward to. HORRIBLE service. HORRIBLE craftsmanship. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. I should have read the reviews thoroughly.

Awful, horrible, terrible. They installed a windshield in my truck, broke the moldings, tried to cover it up by setting them on. When called out they made up a story that they didnt know the clips were broke. They had to order them. In the meantime came out and glued the old ones on until new ones came in. The Next day windshield cracked from improper installation, the seal across the top of the windshield is crooked. Now its near impossible to get them to come to the phone, to confirm that they are coming today to install new windshield and moldings. Total disappointment. Unfortunately they already have my money and I guess i am at their mercy. Total Joke

Within 15 minutes I had an appointment with Safelite, an hour and half later our windshield was replaced and my wife was on her way to an appointment. Very bad experience man came out looked car and the frame had a small bend would need to be fixed before windshield could be installed thats no problem but would not removed old windshield so i could look at the small bend in the frame they refused to remove old window. So I could look at the bend it maybe fine or maybe need to straitened out. Safelite left the windsheld in my garage. No one wants to install someone else winshield and old one is still installed broke.

He showed up early for the appointment, which is totally fine. He was super friendly, and replaced my windshield rather quickly. WAs sure to mention how long to leave it sit before driving or getting a carwash. Payment was made very easily using a CC. I highly recommend Safelite. This is my 2nd time and I was very happy both times!
