Not again, ever. Benny and Dave are nice, but Ive had to replace the battery AND am about to replace the alternator in my 2008 Honda Accord, after purchasing it in an emergency this past November. The car is only about *a year old* to me! I shouldnt be making repairs like this almost a year in!Benny and Dave, you should be making SURE there are no major repairs to be done with ANY car you sell. This way you dont have complaints, angry customers, and 1-star ratings.

Called about a vehicle that was listed online. They were extremely rude on the phone and wouldnt tell me if the vehicle I was asking about was there or not. He tried to get me to look at a completely different truck and wouldnt answer questions about the other one. The truck he tried to steer me towards has been in an accident and when I mentioned that he told me that I wouldnt like the other truck. When I asked if the truck I was looking for was actually there he hung up on me. This is a very sketchy business and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. The lot looks more like a junk yard than a car dealership. STAY AWAY!!!

My husband bought a Chevy 2500 Silverado from this place. At first the owner Dave seemed like a good guy and was willing to warranty the truck because he knew the check engine light would be on for knock sensors. Unfortunately after taking the truck to him twice the work was completely done terribly. Finally we made a final trip to get the engine cover and antenna which was taken off and never replaced. Later we come to find out instead of trying to fix the issues the trucks antenna was ripped off and then attempted to be shoved back in and welded on which created a larger problem for us...not even sure why the antenna was being messed with. And the largest issue is the mechanic attempted to pound in the exhaust manifold bolt which stripped the threads and ruined the bolt. Not only are we upset with the poor quality of work but with the actions of the owner when we brought the issues up to him. I would recommend staying far away from Waukeshas best used cars. Much time and money wasted unfortunately for us during already difficult times.

Bought an SUV from Dave and Benny about a month ago now, I have to say it’s been a pretty good experience. Had some minor issues with the the vehicle and Dave has done everything he can to get it fixed. Have to say Dave and Benny are some very hard working men and when they they said we will take care of you like family, they have proven it!

The staff there is friendly, honest and upfront. I have been there for maintenance on my vehicle a few times, and they have been fast and efficient. They also have a large selection of used vehicles on their lot to choose from, and I have watched a sales person in action. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Dave and Benny were the best. The service they gave my husband and I was better than any high end dealership. They totally understand real people. They knew we needed a replacement badly and showed great empathy as well as safety concerns. They understood our budget and never pushed above for a better sale. The cars here are gently used, some are gently abused but there is a car for anyone that desperately needs a second car. We bought a 2005 jeep liberty that is stunning with low miles and had recently passed a 5 point inspection. They care about people here and tried hard for us. They answered all questions with documentated proof. (Who does that?) Im over the top impressed and highly recommend this shop to anyone. FYI....if you see the reality, you wont touch an older car without a higher payment due to A. Not A lot of money down, B. Lenders dont like us. This is not their fault. Blame financial institutions for not watching out for us little people.They will show you everything you need to know and offer many suggestions. Never again. Bought a 2005 Toyota Sienna in 2017 with 52k miles on it and have had nothing but problems with it. Driving it home to Madison the day I bought it, the inner wheel well flew off on the interstate. Dude said he’d order me a windshield washer spray nozzle (was missing), never did. 2 months later, driving to Georgia the check engine, and traction control And vehicle stability control lights come on, cruise control with automatic speed regulation stopped working. Since then, lot of electrical issues where the lights flicker for no reason. 4 months into owning it, heard electrical clicking for 60 seconds whenever it starts. Now, only 3 years later with still under 100k miles, the engine has no compression and I shudder to think what the mechanic is going to tell me. I will never go back to this place that is for certain.

This place is great. I got a 2006 Nissan Sentra which seemed to work fine for a few days but then the service engine light came on and I couldnt pass the emissions test. I took it back to them and they fixed the problem and even got the test passed for me all for no additional charge. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality customer service and looking to get a quality used car.

My fiancée has had his car for 2 months and not only have they never sent in the paperwork for his official plates and registered the car under his name but they are rude and make it seem like it’s our fault and that we are rude. Awful customer experience I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Dave the owner was a friendly guy willing to walk the lot with me and go on 3 different test drives even though I had no appointment in the middle of a typical busy day. The reason for 4 stars is that 2 of the vehicles needed a jump before we could drive them! Seems like his mechanics are on top of things though and he was honest and forthcoming. Did not purchase there, but he called 2 days later to follow up and see how my search was going.

The owner went above and beyond when it came to helping me out with issues pertaining to my car. I highly recommend going to see Dave and his helpful staff.

Drove 195 miles to be disappointed. I found a Lexus RX300 on line and called to inquire. They talked about how great the vehicle was and I traveled to Waukesha from Manitowoc and in less than 1 minute he explained the car had a bad smell and he wasnt able to get rid of it. Within 5 minutes he shared it was mold and then when I gave him my opinion on the condition of the vehicle that supposedly 42,900 miles on it as “in rough shape” I then was told he wouldn’t waste any of his time letting me drive the car and proceeded to tell me I was a difficult buyer. Yikes, this all happened in less than 10 minutes. I convinced him to finally allow me to test drive the car but I first asked to look under the hood and after seeing the condition I declined to even take the car for a ride. Dave was condescending and obviously in a bad mood. He offered to pay for my gas but I refused. I’d highly caution anyone to take the time to do you’re due diligence with this company. This is my first review I’ve ever done on social media because I think some of them aren’t true. I had to share this experience.

We purchased a car from them a few days ago and it was an easy process. We spoke with Dave on the phone, but actually worked with Benny his main sales guy, and he was great! No complaints so far.

So my son was looking to buy a car and on June 20th we decided to stop here and look we delt with benny who seemed very nice and friendly my son test drove 2 cars and decided on the best pick for him benny was very helpful in getting my son the best financing and they asked like all dealers would hey do u want the extended warranty he said yes so we fill out all the paper work witch states extended warranty all the taxes and licences and regerstration fees were included. 2 weeks later we get a letter in mail that the extended warranty was not accepted talk to dealer so we called and Dave said that they would not except there check than it went to they shorted payment 10 dollars than benny said it was 20 dollars we finally decided to cancel the warranty that is when they started to be rude we were hung up on we were told we were being difficult still no plates in mail after 2 months we went to dmv to find out that the car was never transferred or license applied for we put in a complaint at dmv were went to dealer to ask about plates they showed us paper work that stated my son bought the car July 26 so over a month later from date of actual purchase as of today still waitting for plates plz if u are looking for a car plz dont go here as they seem nice in begging but they change fast spend ur hard earned money else where.

Purchased a truck with 35,000 miles on it for high retail. I was a valued customer because they had struggled getting anyone to finance this truck since it was older than 10 years. I qualified and I did not question Dave and his pricing of the truck. They tried to tell me that a 7-10% interest rate was going to be the best rates I could find. Do not listen to that, as Landmark came in at a 4% for the same terms. Dave said he would take care of the few issues that were existing at the time which were never resolved. Dave is all sunshine and rainbows until issues arise and his true colors come out. A clock spring was needed in which numerous amounts of times Dave said the part was on its way. Or that the part they sent him was the wrong one. It also had an emissions issue, EVAP code. I took the vehicle back into Dave multiple times to get the issue fixed before I had to pass the emissions on it. A few failed attempts where the code came back on. At one point it was thought to be a certain valve mounted to the tank. So they dropped the tank to replace this. In doing so broke fuel lines, and never mounted the new part back to the tank and left it dangling. They took rubber hose, and hose clamps to “fix” the fuel line that they broke and returned it like this was a safe practice. This is not a safe practice, and can be explosive/flammable. Luckily I have knowledge about mechanics on vehicles, they could have really screwed someone over on this had they not known to get it fixed properly and that the rubber hose would only be temporary which he never stated to me. Luckily I double checked the work and knew this was not right. I only had a few days left before emissions so Dave did what he had to do to get it to pass, although the day I got it back the same check engine code for the EVAP system returned. Which tells me he cleared the codes and cycled the truck just enough before the code returned to beat the emissions test. Which is a hack. This should have voided the sale, but I did not know this at the time. Now I’m at 36,000 miles and about 5-6 months of owning this truck and the transmission had internal failure. At this time I presented the issue to Dave and he basically told me I was on my own and to come pick up my truck and get out of his way. I tried to take in this truck as much as I could since it became my only source of transportation and he said I waited too long. Although on numerous occasions when I called to bring it in, Dave was either on vacation or “things were just too busy so try again next week.” Did not want to fix the hack job fuel lines, did not want to replace my clock spring and would not try to reason with me on the transmission. Since then I have found a lot of other underlying issues with the truck and am working on gathering more and more information. Dave sold this to me for high resale, and in return gave me no loyalty and poor customer service. No accountability, hack mechanics and terrible ethics. Stay away.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM DAVE AND HIS TEAM

Bought a 2003 Forester. Was told it had new Head Gaskets. This was not the case. Both Gaskets were blown and leaking oil. In the end after a total of 4 trips from Madison to Waukesha, they replaced the Head Gaskets free of charge. Was told from their mechanic that it was normal seepage. Of coarse thats not true. Dave stood by his word and I now am happy with purchase.

I bought a Honda Accord at very reasonable price. 2 weeks later I had normal wear and tear issues. I returned and spoke to Dave and Benny. With no questions asked they made arrangements to have the repairs done.For those of you who think their are no honest, decent car salesmen out there youre wrong. Check these guys out!!

Bought a 06 civic from Dave last Saturday. I had wanted a civic with a 5 speed. It took a little time, but Dave found a low mileage well cared for 4 door civic. Dave said if i had any problems call him. a week after we bought it, came out of the grocery store and no start condition. Called Dave on Saturday night, Dave came out and tried to start it, No go. I bought 2 cars from Dave. He is very friendly and appears to be giving you a deal and fixing problems on your vehicle, but the repairs he completes are just a quick fix. The cars I bought from him have had many major issues, from needing new catalytic converters to frozen brakes (which he said he fixed) and much more. The 1st car I had to get rid of after a year because it was constantly breaking down. The 2nd car I still have, but since I bought it in Aug 2013, I have had repairs of over $3500. Go ahead, take a chance and buy a vehicle from him, but I wont!

Be careful. We did not end up buying a car from them, and glad we didnt. They are very friendly and want you to feel like you are getting a great deal and they will stand behind their cars. 3 different prices listed for the same car (their website, craigslist and on the car, $3k difference) Different stories from different people about the same car was what we got. They put over 1500 miles on the car we were looking at after they got it. We took it for a test drive and it had an obvious shake at 65MPH, their response was I must not have gone 65MPH Tried to entice us to buy it by offering new tires and standing behind the car. We still declined, then they offered $1000 off the current price, when we asked, they said they couldnt really do $1000 off. Proceed with caution.

Waukesha best used cars sold me a Mazda 626 last june, two days later the check engine light came on and they havent been willing to see whats going on with the vehicle. Ive called several times and the owner Dave was very rude. I wind up getting a second opinion and I found out the car has a bad transmission. I feel this dealership is dishonest and they used that machine that temporarily removes the check engine light on vehicles. If I was you I wouldnt trust them. I paid 3600 for a car with a bad transmission...

Completely took advantage of my wife. Tradedin 2001 durango with 100k miles. (3-4k value), he chrged her 3k plustr ade in fpr 1999 protege saying how great of a car they are. Total SCAM. We couldnt even get what we paid for the car for the car. Best offer was 1500. Not to mention we had to take in multiple times to try and get fixed, oil leaks all over driveway. Headache. So make sure you take someone that knows about cars or he will take advantage of you, i can promise you that. Be careful
