Came in on Saturday to drop off my vehicle to get my rims fix on Monday and pick up a loaner. I was told that a loaner was not requested for me. Rescheduled my appointment for 2 weeks later. Called on Thursday before my appointment to confirm that a loaner was available for me on Saturday when I drop off my vehicle. I was told everything was ready for Saturday. Stopped in early Saturday afternoon and was told that a loaner was not available for me. Rescheduled again. Finally got my loaner and car fix a week later but only the front passenger side rim got fixed. Reschedule again to get front driverside rim fix.

Service was efficient but thats about the only positive thing I can say about my experience here at this stealership. They apparently charge 20% more for their oil change than shown online but when questioned about the discrepancy the service advisor got all defensive and claimed their price hasnt changed in years. Well if thats the case youve had years to update your online site and obviously havent. The guy couldnt care less about trying to address the issue and even had the gall to claim he told me the price beforehand when he most certainly did not...just had me sign their service form and sent me to the waiting area. Its obviously customer service is of zero importance here. Came here because my usual Volvo dealer didnt have a service appointment open for nearly 2 months but now I understand why the availability was better here...never again.

By far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Greg helped us and got us out with our new car so fast. I have dealt with many car lots, Vroom and private sellers, but have never had such a smooth/quick experience. We had our 7 week old son with us, so had to step outside to feed him while our paperwork processed and Greg had no problem coming out to us when we had to do something. Would absolutely recommend Fields to anyone looking for a car.

Beyond dissatisfied with Fields Volvo Service Department! They had my vehicle in for a week and were not able to diagnose an issue with my vehicle. Tech said they could not duplicate concern. I took the vehicle to another reputable shop (NOT “Volvo Certified”) and they were able to figure out the issue within a matter of minutes. I called to check on the car midweek and I was told that the vehicle did not exist at their dealership. Then after talking to another individual they were able to find it, which it had not yet been looked after being there for about a week.This is absolutely unacceptable in a service industry where there are literally hundreds of competitors just waiting to accept my business.I had hoped to have a good relation with my local dealer as I had recently purchased this vehicle but it looks like I may have to try visiting another dealer a few hours away to get service completed.Finally upon arriving at the dealership to pick up the vehicle I had to wait over an hour just to get the vehicle back after it was “complete” from which no work was actually completed to resolve the issue.Hopefully Volvo Customer Service through Volvo corporate will be able to help resolve some of these issues..If I could give negative stars I definitely would! Completely appalled with the entire experience from beginning to end!

I have an excellent experience buying my Volvo XC60 with the help of John Sendik. He showed me all the cars available but felt that I was better served with a car that was coming from Sweden. He gave me all the details and I was happy with the car. I have to wait few weeks for the car, and he promised that if the car was not on time, he was going to secure me a lender.We went fairly quickly with all details and discounts.My car was finally in time, and I was able to get it home next day of the arrival.The service department was quick to set it up for me.In all my experience with volvo has been excellent. I highly recommend John for his easiness, straightforward recommendations and rapidness.

Horrible service department!! I’ve had my Certified Used Volvo for almost a year and from the moment I purchased it the dealership was terrible! A month after my purchase, I was told I needed new brakes and tires. Then 3 addition trips there for random various things they are rude, completely unorganized, and extremely unfriendly. This latest visit to the service Dept I was quoted 3 different prices for the same service and told if I wanted a rental it would be a week wait. I love this vehicle but there is no way if ever buy another Volvo again. My first mistake was trading in my Lexus for this car….absolutely no comparison to their service Dept. which is unmatched!! I hate that there are no other Volvo dealers other than Fields I can go to. Never buy a Volvo from this dealership!!

A week ago my wife and I purchased a car from Erik and our experience was wonderful. He was transparent with the vehicle status in every way. I appreciate the quality of customer service and friendliness. They got me a quick appointment after I called with a problem on my XC60 Volvo that had to be addressed quick prior to a planned road trip with my kids. Initially i was told there were no loaners available and had to wait at the office, but by the time i got to the dealership, they had found me a loaner, which really helped me to continue my day and run my errands. Sales was excellent. Service extremely poor. I bought a used vehicle here with only 14,000 miles on it. About a week after the sunshade failed. I called and made an appointment for warranty service for a week out as thats what was available. The day before my service they called me to tell me they couldnt do it that day because they dont do that type of service on weekends. Something the service person should have known before they made the appointment. I called them back explaining this type of customer service wasnt acceptable to reschedule. Spoke to my salesman and another service person other than the one that called to try to get it addressed as quickly as possible which referred me to the person that called. Left a message with the one that called me. Never got a call back nor an apology for the inconvenience. Got the issue taken care of at another dealer location with prompt and friendly service.*Update 2 weeks later I got a phone message after this review was left. It repeated the same information.

I had my Volvo aligned at Fields and the antenna was broken off in their wash. Nobody turned off the radio which was an understandable mistake. The staff did not notice and delivered the vehicle. I pointed it out (on a Friday) and they resolved the issue Tuesday which was extremely quick. They also told me they were giving me a free oil change for the trouble. I checked the oil level and filter and neither were touched. Overall good experience, both the alignment and antenna replacement were well done, but service writer/tech communication seems poor.

Service technician called me with information, recommendation and confidence to continue driving car before I could get it in for evaluation of problem.Only problem was took a week to get the appt, realizing though it was the week of July 4th. I recently purchased a vehicle from Fields Volvo in Waukesha. I was originally interested in a used Lexus ES350 that Fields had in inventory. I called ahead and talked with Peter Fueterer to ensure the vehicle was in stock before heading to the dealership. Peter looked it up and said it was available. Then, after 2-3 hours of time at the dealership I was told the vehicle was already on a pending sale from someone from IL. After leaving the dealership frustrated after spending 2-3 hours on a vehicle that was not available - luckily, I got a call back saying they would sell it to me instead. After taking receipt of the vehicle I noticed some issues that seemed to be happening with the transmission. I took the vehicle over to Lexus of Brookfield for a thorough pre-purchase inspection a day or two later. After the Lexus crew looked over the vehicle it was brought to my attention that the vehicle needed a transmission. You can imagine my disappointment and frustration after just getting this vehicle from Fields in Waukesha two days prior with all the paperwork saying there were no issues.I worked closely with Peter Fueterer (Salesman), Todd Mathias (GM), and Alexis Brinckerhoff (Financing) about the situation that transpired and the team pulled together to correct the situation. I wasnt originally looking to get into a Volvo at all - again the Lexus is what brought me to the dealership. However, Todd specifically really understood the situation at hand and helped to get me into a used Volvo S80 - really the only vehicle in my price range that was available.While I was frustrated with my original experience with the Lexus the team (mentioned above) really pulled together to take care of me with the Volvo and fixed the situation. They even put on some brand new tires for good measure on the Volvo.I do recommend that buyers take a good thorough look, better than I did originally, prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. Maybe take it to a local mechanic or have a trusted advisor look the vehicle over.Brad F.

Service aspect of the dealership was great. However, when the car was washed, it was returned very dirty back to me. When I asked why the vehicle was so dirty after being washed, they stated we have a old car wash machine. That is very unacceptable especially for being a luxury car dealership. Please do something about this, if anything, cars should be hand washed to avoid scratches on paint.

Every experience I have here is terrible. Two years since I bought this car, and I have had this car in for service more than any other car I’ve owned. I always have to call multiple times before anyone calls me back and the timelines they give are never accurate. Once I had a warning light in the car that said stop and service the car IMMEDIATELY. The service manager said come in IMMEDIATELY and we’ll check the problem, but when I got here they had all left. This time I came in with a flat, and it took two days and a 2 hour appointment to CHANGE A TIRE. Then when they said it was finished, they couldn’t find the car! Another 30 minutes before I could leave. I guess this is what happens when a dealer has a monopoly in town.

Jeff Sayers (used car manager) and Moises Velazquez (sales/ f&i) went ABOVE AND BEYOND for my girlfriend and I. We were in an accident 2 weeks ago and unfortunately totalled her car out. Long story short. She had no idea what a good replacement for her previous rdx would be. We narrowed it down to a Q5 and XC40. With XC40S being so hard to find on the used market we ended up going with a Q5. Although/ unfortunately we were not able to give Jeff and Moises our business, I HIGHLY recommend them. Buying a car from them was easy. Love Volvos and loved how easy it was. There was a really sweet guy there that helped us when our poor sales guy had to go home sick. Both of those guys are great. These two stars are dedicated to those men. If it werent for those people, this dealership wouldnt deserve a single star.However, not a fan of how this dealership treats their customs once the car has been bought, or if the car hasnt been bought from them and needs work. Really dont like to hear from my husband that a dealership 2 hours away from us called him, rather than this Volvo he brought his car to, to tell him that this Volvo wouldnt work on his car and that they would drive out to work on his car in their parking lot. Extremely unprofessional how that was handled. Not only that, but apparently being asked to be transferred to the SERVICE drive means talking to a salesman who cops a serious attitude when he doesnt know the answer to a question. Overall, the only good experience youll get from this place is if youre buying a car. After that, customer service goes out the window. It doesnt take much to just communicate with some manners to people asking a question or who have a problem. It really doesnt.

When arriving for an oil change I asked if there was a software update on my car. I was told that it would cost $156. To do an update. The service writer didn’t know if there was an update, but if there was, it would speed up the displays. Why would I ever use the dealership for future oil changes, or for that matter, buy another Volvo?

Caution of this dealership. We have a Volvo XC 90. Amazing car. We love it. We went to this dealership for a routine service with 28,000 miles on our car. They called me up after the car had been in their service shop for two hours. They advised me that I needed new brakes on the front and especially the rear. They advised me it was $1700 and it was needed right away. They were very aggressive with their sales pitch. Of note this car is a lease. I said no and the person was very rude to me. “If you don’t pay for it now you will have to pay for it when you turn in the car”. I went to have this checked out at a brake shop and another respected service shop. Both places advised me that I did not need brakes or rotors. Very disappointing. I cannot recommend this dealership for leasing or service.

I dont normally post reviews but I have to say thank you to John Smith and Fields Auto for their great customer service! This was my first time buying a vehicle and they made it low pressure and just plain easy. The first car we test drove (overnight to really get a feel for it) didnt work out. John connected with us to get a feel for what we were looking for. After giving him our ideal car he called us the next day with a car he had in mind! We picked it up Friday night, test drove it overnight, and went back to buy it Saturday. The entire process was smooth and efficient. Even going over our paperwork was easy. Went to look at a certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Found the car, the millage listed on the website is 25k less than is actually on the car. We mentioned this immediately and said from the beginning we were not interested in a car with that many miles. Still convinces me to test drive the car. Do not know why I even got in. Promptly drive less that 5 miles and the thing runs out of gas. Nothing like waiting on the side of a highway for 30 min.This was over a month ago and the Vehicle is STILL listed with the wrong millage.

I spoke to the salesman over the phone about ordering a car from the factory, and decided to drive nearly an hour to test a similar model on the lot. When I arrived I recieved a very hard sell to buy the car on the lot and not order from the factory. John Sendik our salesman could not have been more patient and tolerable of us. As the lady making the decision, he focused his attention on me, as many salespeople do not, assuming the man is making the decisions. We told him we had to wait a few days to make the purchase and he didnt pressure us. When we came back after doing more research we thought we wanted to buy a more expensive SUV with more features and upgrades and he went over everything and we ended up buying the original vehicle we liked. Most people wouldve pushed us into buying the one that was significantly more expensive. I dont always remember every technical feature of the vehicle and when I called him with questions several days after driving it he dropped everything to patiently walk me through it. I recommend John, whos energy and enthusiasm matches mine. I also appreciated that he went along with my quirky sense of humor. Thanks John

Great and easy experience overall, from test drive to leaving with the car I was in and out in under three hours total. All the people I talked to were very nice and despite purchasing probably the most inexpensive car on their lot I was still treated very well. Very happy with the car and the experience at the dealership, would definitely go back when time comes for a new car.
