Very good service, a fairly large selection of mountain bikes and accessories. I asked a few questions about what they have for sale and answered all of my questions kindly.

Went in for a broken rear derailleur cable and they went the extra mile and indexed the rear derailleur also and turn around was lightening fast. Pricing was very inexpensive also. Been doing a lot of DIY repairs but with the excellent service will continue bringing my bike here for any major issues.

Took bike in for repair, fast and friendly service. Rides better than ever; great job.

All the employees at RMC are excellent. Super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Have purchased bicycles for every member of my family from them. Recently had Brandon build me a custom set of Road/Gravel wheels. They came out perfect. I also want to thank both Brandon and Zach for the many phone calls helping me choose parts and answer questions.

Favorite bike store in the area. Staff is head and shoulders above others in town for friendliness and demeanor. I dont mind bike snobs being bike snobs but its pretty cool when they dont and RMC doesnt.Be my first stop from here on out

I think everyone has “their” bike shop, and Rib Mountain Cycles has been mine for quite some time. From back in the day of the Fatboy 415 to today where I’m the old guy commuting to work I trust Randy and the gang will take the time to get me and my family what we need.Couple of things to make sure things go smoothly:1. weekends are normally really busy so I like to go on my lunch hour when possible to beat the rush.2. Their website has a lot of what they have I. The store so go on their and if your not quite sure after that...give them a call or stop in with the brand or models of what you want.3. When I stepped into Rib Mountain Cycles in 2018, I just thought of it as just another bike store. I was greeted with helpful staff and was introduced to the world of mountain biking. Since then Ive turned my hobby into a lifestyle and those staff have become my friends, and I realize now that its more to me than simply a shop, its a place where I can be happy and talk with people who are into the same passions as I am. Great service, great bikes, and great people.

First bike shop i have ever walked into with bikes displayed everywhere and nothing forsale didnt even want to try and order one for me.. Was pretty discouraging for someone wanting to get into the sport

These dudes are top notch. Down to earth guys who don’t make you feel like your a beginner. They actually invited me back to show me how to maintain my tubeless tires which I was extremely grateful for. By the time they were done, I was wondering to myself how creepy it would be to ask if they wanted to be my friend (I’m a travel nurse and know no one up here in Wausau). Highly recommend, will definitely be my primary shop through my nursing rotation

Stopped in to get help with an issue I couldnt fix myself. The people there were friendly, helpful, and quick. Got advice on a few other things Id been wondering about as well. Definitely would go back again if I lived in the Wausau area.

Ive bought three different bikes here, a 4-bike rack, three bike helmets, a luggage rack, luggage case, and a bunch of other gear. Ive always received impeccable service from the knowledgeable staff. They couldnt been nicer and - bonus- my dog is always welcome in the shop. Great store, great people, great service!

We stopped in to rent the fat tire bikes to see how we liked them. Brandon helped me the first time when I was just asking questions and Zack helped us when we rented the bikes, they were both great salespeople. Not pushy, polite and knowledgeable about their products. Thanks for a wonderful customer service experience, it is not as easy to find as one might think!

I had a pinched front break cable. I went somewhere else and they would not sell me just the cable housing, they wanted me to pay 40$ for their break service.I stopped in to Rib Mountain cycle and they guy got me a new cable and housing for 4$. Service was excellent. I will be coming here again!

I called into Rib Mountain Cycles three weeks ago to have repair work done on a wheel. The employee who answered the phone happened to be the mechanic who would be doing the repair. The employee then informed me it could be done that day and so I drove my wheel 30 miles for repair. Once I got to Rib Mountain Cycles the employees told me a different story. Apparently the mechanic who I had spoken with left, not in a rush or anything, just according to his schedule. Yet the mechanic said the work could be done that day and that was the reason I called in the first place, to get the work done that day. So in the end I didnt get the work done that was promised that day, I didnt receive a replacement wheel until a week later, and I am still waiting on my original wheel three weeks later. I wouldnt recommend going to this business for repairs. They have poor customer service.

I stumbled on RMC about nine years ago and Ive been going back ever since because the advice, service, and products are all excellent. I cant imagine anyone repairing or upgrading a bike any faster. My drive train upgrade took only two days (because they had to order some parts). Visit them and youll become a regular.
