This pottery barn has recently gone through a remodel. The merchandising is very dense, but they have a lot of great deals. You can usually find a few floor models for sale. They also offer a great selection of decorative pillows and throws. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. If you are in need of furniture or decorating ideas, this is the place to go!

It is so slow. I bought it last year and was told to get it this May. However, when it got closer, I was told again that the delivery was going to delay due to some quality issue and was not informed when I could get it.I would like to return and buy a different brand.

Spend extra 10 min and find different seller. Customer service is horrible, delivery the worst in the whole world, my order shipped over a month ago from NJ. Delivery person probably walking to Wi. First and last time using them.
If I could post a Zero, I would have. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional with how they speak to clients/customers. I had also an issue with an employee named Kelli(VERY rude and arrogant) and never heard back from the store manager. Spare yourself some time and please shop at the Chicago district locations or online(if possible). I will NEVER shop here again. I’m taking my business elsewhere and also letting friends and family know as well to do the same.
I understand that the hours are limited 1st of all. It is challenging to get someone to answer the phone during the hours that they are open. I had an appt. today [required to come into the store]. Ive called 6 times and no one answers the phone. Shouldnt someone be there if I have an appointment????
I only went to Mayfair, because its about 16 minutes from me and what I wanted is a staple item that is always in stock. I did inquire about another item that is on line... The woman that helped me was so snooty. If you want customer service that is friendly and treat you with kindness.. go to the pottery Barn in Madison.. ALWAYS super nice. I just didnt have the hour and a half to travel there yesterday.
The sales staff is not trained well. When a customer enters they are supposed to be greeted. Was in the store 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us
Customer service is dreadful. You will get an email response indicating someone will contact you in 24-48 hours.I am still trying to return an item. Can’t get delivery company to schedule a pick up time. Definitely not happy with the service.
As an interior designer based in southeastern Wisconsin, I shop at Pottery Barn quite frequently for my clients and myself. The in-store experience is always good, but I find the best thing about the staff is their ability to help out when something doesnt go as planned. Any time the products I buy dont work out, the Mayfair staff is happy to talk me through the return process. There was even a time I messed up on the details of ordering a custom sectional, and after calling back, they were able to cancel my order and re-order the correct one. What lifesavers! Definitely would recommend!

Another store that if I didnt have a budget would have me buying a whole lot. Many wonderful items.

I am a long time credit card customer at the Pottery Barn in Mayfair Mall is Wisconsin. I received an email coupon which I used. Approximately one week later I received an additional coupon through my email.The next day I took this into the store to use. When the salesperson rang up my purchase, the coupon wouldnt work. The salesperson said that was because I had already used the coupon. I explained that I had just received the coupon the previous day and hadnt used it, but had received one a few weeks back and used that one. The salesperson explained that this coupon was a repeat of the coupon I had used. She stated that it was their mistake. I asked her to honor the coupon because it was their mistake and not mine. She quickly dismissed me saying they couldnt do that. I then stated that I was a long term customer and asked that they respect me as a customer and honor the coupon since it was their error. She refused and didnt even offer to discuss this with the manager. I indicated my disappointment and chose not to purchase the item. It must be nice to be so profitable that as a store you can be so uncooperative with a long term customer over a 20% coupon. What happened to customer service?
Youll get better customer service from Wal-mart; which no one goes to Wal-mart for customer service. This isnt specific to this Pottery Barn, but the companys customer service as a whole.
Ive made 2 trips to the store and both times there was no one to help with any questions. When I finally was able to get someones attention she said shed look in the back, I waited for 15 mins and inquires what was taking so long... apparently she went on break. Theres definitely room for improvement with their customer service. My computer had a much better personality then the people working there.

I bought the Chatham 4-piece wedge patio set and not even 60 days later its now on sale for 60% off. When I tried inquiring about a price adjustment that would refund a significant amount of money, I was approached with a rude no way response from the store manager. I even mentioned that I would take in-store credit as Im a frequent and loyal customer/card holder. She gave it no consideration. Ironically, a portion of my order was ordered online and when I contacted the ONLINE customer service, they had no issue crediting my account. Needless to say, this has tarnished my experience with this store and I wont be back.
Ordered a Christmas stocking online with my childs name on it (not yet born, but expected before Christmas/St. Nick). It came on December 4 with the wrong name, not even close. I called. They said, send it back. I sent it back as directed. They were going to send a new one with the correct name. I didnt hear anything. Child was born and did not have stocking on Christmas.I received a Pottery barn merchandize credit in the mail in an envelope I almost discarded without opening. I had to call to figure out what it was for. They told me it was for a stocking that I had returned that was no longer available.When I requested a refund instead of a merchandise credit, they told me that they would refer to another dept. I told them that I would write a review online. They then agreed to a refund within 2 business days. I dont know if they refunded it or not at this point as it has not been 2 business days. I always thought pottery barn had good products, but beware of their negative consumer practices.

This stores customer service is horrible. Tried to purchase a Christmas discounted pillow today (Jan. 8) that was not priced correctly. The clerk acted as if we did not know what we were doing. Smarmy attitude. Needless to say, we will not be back. Too many other home goods stores out there who want our business and treat us right. Judging from other reviews, we are not alone.

I wish I could choose no stars and still be able to leave a review. I registered at the Mayfair Pottery Barn for my wedding and from the second I stepped up to the counter I was treated like I was beneath the staff. From the rude and ill-mannered looks I got, to the snooty tone and attitudes of the employees, I felt so uncomfortable and the rest of my registering experience was ruined.As I told the employee I had already created an account, she asked for my account number, which I did not have off-hand and she huffed and made a huge deal about having to look look it up. Meanwhile, another employee rudely asked my friend and I to move aside so she could check someone out. (No big deal about moving over, it was the way she did it)Not only was I frustrated by the way I was treated and talked to, but more than half the items that are around the store dont have SKU numbers to scan, so you have to walk around and find an employee to look up the item on their computer and then tell you the numbers to type into the scanner.At one point I had to walk around and find an employee to ask her about the SKU number for a couch and she responded with This is a large couch. Are you sure your house is big enough for this couch? My jaw dropped and I held back what little restraint I had left.After all this, I was waiting in line to return the scanner and the lady infront of me was explaining to the cashier about how terrible her experience was and how horrible their customer service is and how she drove all the way from Green Bay to be treated like crap. The cashier responded with a (I dont give a crap what you think) Im sorry to hear thatAll in all, I will NEVER be going back there and I have deleted everything off my registry. I DO NOT recommend this pottery barn to TO ANYONE!

We did our wedding registery with pottery barn and William Sonoma. It seemed like it made a lot of sense since the gift cards could be used at both stores. Could not have been more disappointed with pottery barn. Very unhelpful during the registry and completing the registry process. Additionally, they charged us shipping on all orders and returns which is rediculous for the amount of money you spend completing your registry. Overall, the return shipping and shipping completed our orders cost us almost $500.Our recommendation, never use a pottery barn store to register!!!
