How is it that the store manager and a @@&&@@ cashier doesn’t know their own promotions on the Sephora website. The store in Mayfair mall Wauwatosa had the sheer lip stick $22. However on the Sephora website for the Memorial sale $13Both dumb and dumber emphatically insisted they don’t price match. Why? Because they want to oversell their customers!!!!!No apology nothing.Friday 5/28/2021. 3 pmSephora corporate train your staff better including your managers!!!!The staff at this store is living up to their poor reputation.

Excellent selection, but as with any luxury makeup store, very very very pricey! Employees are helpful and will point you in the right direction of whatever it is that you need.I did visit specifically to acquire this lip mask that I believe is an exclusive- this one was very reasonably priced and has lasted forever, and helped a ton with my chronically chapped lips!

Rizza did an AMAZING job getting me all set up for my wedding! She perfectly color matched my foundation and concealer and found the best lip color for me. I loved that the store felt very safe and staff was doing everything to keep things clean and customers distanced.

Wow! Really great customer services. I can’t remember their names but the moment I walked in I was greeted and offered help with looking for products. I had my one year old son with me and he was getting antsy. The staff was patient and got me in and out.

Excellent staff here! Every other sephora and ulta Ive been to have staff that seem to be bothered that you even showed up. But not here! I was assisted by a woman (I believe her name was Rosie? Maybe Roxie?) who was SUPER helpful and took the time to help me find my foundation shade. She even asked me questions about my skin type and makeup habits to make sure I would like the foundation I was about to pay $45 for. Other staff were also very friendly and the store was clean.

I technically got what I needed, which was a specific face moisturizer, despite the less than helpful advice I recived from the staffer in the high wasted loose fitting pleather trousers and chunky heels, that wound up with me purchasing the wrong kind of bottle which did not work with specialized infusion pump, I literally asked the kid if it was the right kind, and with an eye roll they scoffed, was it in that section? Pointing to specific section then yeah.

Didnt even intend to go in this place but my friend dragged me! even though I was sourpuss about being in there the employees were happy to assist me to look at anything I wanted Tryon me to ask all the questions I can think to ask. Overall excellent customer service, the store was clean and easily shopped, and everyone was knowledgeable and happy it was a great experience and I will be back!!

Walked into Sephora yesterday for the first time since the pandemic started and had such a positive experience. I was on the hunt for a tinted sunscreen/moisturizer. The lady at the front greeted me and paired me with Sheneka (SP? Sorry if I spelled it wrong!). Sheneka was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products. She took the time to do some swatches for me so that I could get the best product to suit my skin tone. The store layout and process is different with COVID as we are not allows to touch/tests the displays but that is totally okay. All the employees were super friendly and helpful. I should also mention that I loved the discount they provide for healthcare workers!I had a great experience and will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks girls, keep up the great work! :)

I would give this location 5 stars as Ive always had good experiences in here in the past. Recently though, a newer hire made me feel completely ignored, unimportant and inadequate. I was simply not worth her time. I came in for a breakout and was looking for some advice. Since I shop here A LOT, I had used and researched some things. After talking with her about what I had used in the past she immediately went into Whatever, I dont believe, you arent worth my time now mode. I tried to apologize if I had offended her, but she brushed it off and proceeded to go to another costumer mid sale. I then tried to ask her for a sample of something and she made me sign into my Rouge account to prove to her I was an actual costumer? Never had that happen before...Like I said, in the past this store has been great to me. But if this is the type of person I can expect to be greeted and helped with in the future Im not sure Ill return...

I am completely new at makeup and was looking for foundation. I was totally prepared to have a really overwhelming time and be frustrated. Everyone was very friendly, and employee Brittney did an amazing job at explaining all the makeup and was very honest about it. Made all the difference, and made for a very pleasant experience. Nice new selection of brands, but the redesign has made the cash wrap impossible to navigate. I waited in 3 different lines in 3 different places until finally giving up out of frustration. Was about to spend a good chunk of change until I just gave up trying to navigate this new configuration. LoveSephora but until they organize this area they’re pretty much unshoppable.

This is a great Sephora. I dont know why people are reviewing a Madison Sephora, and other locations that arent this one on here, but they shouldnt, because theyre bringing down the rating of this good one. They have almost everything, which is nice because i hate having to order from online. Also, the employees are always super nice and helpful. I love this Sephora.

Brittany with the red hair has horrible customer service. She couldn’t get my color foundation match correct and got bit frustrated when I continued to tell her the colors she selected were WAY off. She felt as if she could rush me into accepting these wayyyy off Fenty foundations. Then told me that she couldn’t spend much time with me because it’s the store policy. Told me I couldn’t sit down because it takes to long. Told me this was the last color she could try out on me because she had another appointment in 15 minutes. 15 minutes is a long time considering we had narrowed my selection down to two colors. If she had better knowledge of African American skin we would not have had to start out 5 shades to light. Then Ms. Brittany tried to lie like she didn’t say these things and over talk me. I finally had to tell her to stop talking and walk away. The Manger came over to listened to my concerns. Not sure what happened because I left the store. Won’t be going back, if your black, don’t allow Brittany to assist you with finding appropriate colors. Matter of fact, just go to another store! Just say no to Brittany!!!!

I went into this store with a pretty simple request: I was out of my everyday concealer (not made in the US anymore) and wanted to find one that matched. Without explaining anything, the color specialist (didnt catch her name - the one with the braces) asked me to take a seat, I assume to test different shades on my face. I asked if I could just compare the colors with a little bit on my fingers and she, clearly irritated, agreed. I know nothing about makeup and if this is the wrong way to do it, it would have been nice if that was explained to me. After finding what appeared to be a match, I decided that I should probably try a little spot on my face given the high cost. While doing so at the closest makeup mirror, the color specialist started chatting with another employee instead of agreeing or disagreeing that it matched. I politely interrupted because I had one last question. This time she made it utterly clear just how much of an inconvenience I was. I purchased the concealer but left the store extremely unnerved and bothered. Sure enough, when I got back to my car and saw the makeup in sunlight, it wasnt a match. I will be returning this product and never visiting this location again.

I have been going here for 10 years now. I only gave 4 stars, because like most other sephora stores Ive been to, the customer service is very hit or miss. Some days they are great other they dont even approach you. 95% of the time they have what Im looking for. They have a great selection and most things are always in stock and on the shelves.

I was just here for the VIB sale and the three women on the floor who helped me were so kind, so patient, and gave me such good options. I believe the manager also helped me for most of the time (a woman with brown hair and glasses) and she was fantastic. Leading up to the cash register, everyone I encountered on the floor were just amazing. However, the young woman behind the register was a bit off putting. Although she was perfectly nice, you could tell she did not want to be there. Again, loved the women on the floor, but the cashier just did not seem nice.

NEVER again will I go here. Although Sephora in general is great, this store isnt. You get followed around the store, yet they avoid you like a plague, if you do ask for help the representatives look annoyed. I went to check out today and when it became my turn in line to check out, I went up to the register and the cashier said smugly can i help you with something. I said, Im just checking out. Like, what ELSE would I be doing up there, ya know, in LINE? That really hurt my feelings. I spend so much at this freaking store just to feel alienated when I finally go. You need to diversify these stores more. We need people that look like us in there because the ones that dont WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH US! Ill just go to Ulta from now on. At least I feel welcome there. I usually dont leave bad reviews, but this was horrible. I literally left the store crying. I practically ran out.

I just moved from Idaho and didn’t know how good I had it at my Sephora. I couldn’t buy anything here even if I wanted to. They don’t keep up on new releases and don’t carry some large name brands. Anything I did want to buy was out of stock. Every employee I talked to said their store was just too tiny. Their testers are also just dirty and disgusting. I wouldn’t go here unless you had to.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve been there plenty of times and not once have I seen a kind employee. The employees are all rude and snotty. They don’t ask if you need help and if you go up to them for something you can clearly see they are bothered and irritated. If I could I would give this place no stars at all. The lady with red hair is extremely rude and stuck up. This Sephora needs new employees because the only thing these employees are good at is making customers unsatisfied.

Some of the staff are really rude. I had a situation with one of the cashiers that had to be escalated to a manger because the cashier/associate figured it was sensible to give smart and sarcastic responses to my inquiries as opposed to maintaining a respectable level of professionalism. If there was another Sephora location elsewhere, Id definitely go there. I would think youd treat a VIB member with much more respect, but of course, this is Sephora at Mayfair... not much can be expected.

I have visited this Sephora several times and have consistently had terrible service at the checkout (fall 2007 and spring 2009). After waiting for my turn and moving to the next available register I was told the line was no longer open and could I please get back in line. Another time I was informed that I tried to skip a line when I moved to the back registers after the customer in front of me was finished. I would rather order online and wait for my merchandise, than support a branch with such awful service.

The customer service needs a serious face lift. I’ve had nothing but issues while shopping here. Don’t bother asking questions about products, or any general inquirys. They make it seem like you are a burden and will do everything in their power, including being snotty and talking back to you, to not have to help you. It’s a shame because that’s in a prime location in Milwaukee. Sephora needs to really reevaluate their staff here to make it more enjoyable for its shoppers. It was near dead when I went in there which is rare for that time of day. Maybe if they were nicer, they would have a better flow of traffic.

My experience here was great and continue to go to Sephora for my skincare. Although while standing in line to purchase this past Saturday I witnessed one of the workers who works with the makeup applying concealer on someone’s blemish... although using the applicator out of the tester tube, not a new clean applicator which should always be used. Then puts back onto the shelf along with all the other testers.It was way too busy that I didn’t want to be thatperson and make a scene about it so I left and emailed Sephora directly.This is extremely unsanitary and spreads so much bacteria and makes me wonder how much of this is done. Definitely won’t be testing out any of their makeup in my future.

Because it was the middle of the week with less customers (3-4). Are employees paid low wages, or something? Whatever the reason poor performance is a reflection of management!! After having a horrible experience at the Madison location. I decided to try and give this one a chance. Never again. I went in there was an employee standing right in front of the door which is tiny as it is socializing with another employee. I knew what I wanted so I just politely said excuse me. They looked at me and kept talking and did move so I had to squeeze through just to get in the store. So looking around i couldnt find the product that I wanted and I knew other stores carried it. So the girls at the door were too busy talking to each other. I said um excuse me again they still ignored me. So wondering around I found an employee with a really sour look on her face. I just had a quick question. I had to pretty much follow her finally got her attention her response was, WHAT?!?! I asked her if she had this product that I know other stores carry. Her response was, I dont know go online and walked away. Livid again so i left and again the two blocking the door so I had to squeeze my way out and they stopped talking an looked at me like I was bothering them. I am done with Sephora.

You know...I have to disagree with the negative reviews about the manager with braces (her name is Jessica). I purposefully went in on a weekday, needing an entire new line of products after an ULTA disaster and she was a godsend. She was the only one out of the group talking that offered to help when I first walked in, though everyone I encountered was excellent. She offered alternatives, explained why she was suggesting the products she was (though it was clear she felt strongly about her opinion...and she was right), and compared and contrasted brands with me.I image its hard being in the industry, Im sure advice gets dismissed often, which is probably discouraging, and you have be careful to just help and not unintentionally change someones style... I was upfront about not knowing anything and she was extremely helpful....To each their own I suppose but I will only buy makeup from Sephora now.

Wow I cant believe how downhill this location has gone, due to rude or non-existent employees. There is a blond, short-ish bug-eyed overweight lady that is downright awful. And no one else there has been knowledgeable and/or available to even ask a question, the last 2 times I visited before today. I wont be back again. Not to mention they have decreased many stock items that I loved. Guerlain fragrances, etc.. I will buy from other locations, online, or simply shop less. (And making customers now stop at a slooowww computer on the store wall to log in to their account and love the item you give a sample of, is RIDICULOUS!!) I walked out. Come on, Sephora. I have been to multiple Sephoras. I am in Northbrook Illinois sometimes and also Sephora in Deer Park, Illinois. The one in Northbrook is the one that got me into Sephora. Excellent service in those two stores. But this one, most of the time, NO service. One time I was looking for a foundation color (not a self service function) and the sales girl was too busy talking to a coworker who was leaving. She saw me hover around the section but was too busy talking. Only once did I have good service at this store., which is why I gave it more than one star. Sephora is supposed to be a fun place to explore new products and it is in other locations.

I hate this sephora. It is rare to see nice sephora workers here. Gone here a few times. The white old lady with red hair and her hair up in clips is a total A hole. Everytime... Rude, doesnt help. Alot of these sephora workers dont work. They stand around ignoring people. There are so many workers and yet noone is there to help you.
