I personally prefer the location in downtown Milwaukee. I feel like the staff here isnt as friendly and helpful. I also feel like this location doesnt have as much variety as the one in downtown. However, its a convenient location.
Looking for seafood to prepare. Found the tilapia I needed but more importantly on my way into the store I saw some beautiful flowers on the floor in a bucket at the entrance. Take a look at them today 1week later! An absolutely stunning arrangement in full bloom. The center bloom did not open until today, exactly one week later! The tilapia was fresh and tasty but the comments at home, I really love the flowers💐 makes for a happy home all week. Thanks Whole Foods. I know I should be talking about this food but this experience is priceless for me.
Bought organic nectarines, portabella caps and wild caught Salmon filets. The nectarines rotted within 2 days but caps were tasty as well as Salmon.
Excellent service at the Amazon pick up area. The young ladies were extremely helpful and expedited my package to me quite swiftly.
Love this place. One day Im going to be the spokeswoman for Whole Foods. Lol
Simply marvelous experience. Wanted tilapia for later, we found many reasons to come back. A little pricey (and Im not cheap) but with enough time to truly shop much can be found. Definitely will return when more time is available. The Tilapia was great!
Oh gosh I just pray that this location will close soon, I go there almost every week sometimes few times in a week. Today what happened to me was disguisting. I had a very bad experience this evening, this person cashier Katie white blonde girl she was literally throwing my food, veggies out of the sac, she did not answer even once when I asked her about scanning the prime memebership in store code. She started mumbling louder and louder as if she was cussing or something. She was very angry for some reason I dont know why. It was so upsetting that I asked for a manager to address this what has just happened which was unbelievably rude. So called manager came I explained it to her she was least interested to know what happened she simply said Oh am sorry did not even ask for any further details. This is horrible horrible experience. I wont allow any body to throw my food that too from my hard earned money. I am further filing official complaint against this store and staff. If you have a problem with a person of certain color please specify that, rudeness bellegerent behavior for no reason towards customers not accepted. Not accepted.
I usually have pretty decent experiences at whole foods, I am having a hard time understanding the limitations on customers in the stores and also the very aggressive suggestions of wearing a face mask.Side note, I thoroughly understand that there is an alleged pandemic, however if the employees feel the need to wear ppe that is fine but if customers are concerned then stick to ordering your merchandise online and keeping away from public spaces. The rest of us would like our normal shopping experiences back.
I have had experience of visiting Whole Foods in different states which was to me is “ high end, nice experience, nice staff, you even enjoy doing grocery” BUT so far this is the worst of all. Staff looks very unhappy ill behaved and just not nice. This store is pretty below lower standard grocery store way below Whole Foods standard (Does not feel like Whole Foods at all).
Ahhhh Whole Foods, “the good place”!Always great service and such an efficient staff around every corner! When I was in the other day, I fully decided to make this my main grocery stop despite the slightly higher prices, because in this case, you get what you pay for, great food and a great staff! Our cashier, Ben, was a very kind, very attentive example of great work ethic!Let’s be as clear as possible. Rounding the corner of a pandemic, we could all afford to take steps to be healthier mentally and physically, this Whole Foods, is one less thing to worry about and one more thing to look forward to!Take care of your self, go to the good place!
Lots of good quality food, but there is a reason some call it whole-paycheck.
Everything is more expensive here, but there is a small handful of things that I buy here regularly. I generally reluctantly end up spending $50-80 per visit anyways.Have you ever seen the meme where it says people can afford three and a half apples?I walk in today to get what I need, trying to talk myself out of extras I knew I was going to get anyways. I always do.An employees without a mask standing around doing nothing in a produce aisle. Produce is out. I decide to get one item, and am almost run over by a customer without a mask zooming around the corner with a cart. Then more employees without masks.Over at Homegoods was night and day. Signs, all employees in masks.I walked out without buying that $26 worth of salmon plus a ton of extras, so I guess I should thank them.
Great customer service, very attentive and helpful. Clean place will definitely go back.
Dirty by the produce area, most shelves are dirty and didnt have bread @5pm, the one by lakeshore drive is better.
Great prices and my daughter is gluten free so they have a variety there which is great!
Excellent groceries, bought some super delicious pineapple this trip, along with some other fruit. Definitely expensive though, which means you dont have to be all up close and personal with poor people, except for maybe the cashiers. Their cashiers are poor, right? And me, Im probably poor enough that I shouldnt shop there.
Love this place! Especially their vegan snacks 😋 whenever I come here, I end up gaining a pound from all the food. XD love the vegan cake slices I can choose from as well.
Great produce and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Always a pleasure shopping here!
Clean store, fresh food, (especially the deli section) and fast check out. Theres just one thing I would change... THE PRICE! There should be a discounted section for budget shoppers.
There was so little product! Staff was very unhelpful. We specifically went there for bakery. It was the middle of the day on a Friday and there was nothing! It was crazy. Very disappointing. Ill try again another time.
I love going to whole foods market nice people there nice people work there polite
I am a very frequent customer of both Whole Foods locations here in Milwaukee. This location is less than what I would expect from WF. First of all, there are hardly any employees around to answer any questions you have. I went in last night to look for pecan pie and check for fresh yeast. No pecan pie because its seasonal which is not the issue. I walked through 4 aisles to ask someone for help with finding fresh yeast if there was any, and there was not an employee in sight. They seriously need to be more attentive to their customers. There is hardly ever any fresh items in stock from the hot/cold bar that is put in the cooler. Every time I go in, theres never anything there! Ive gone in when they first open, in the middle of the day, and even at the end of the night with the same results. Same thing with the bakery counter. Which brings me to...The bakery counter. Does anybody even work there? I can never find anyone to help me when I want to buy something from there. I honestly dont even know why I continue to buy items from the bakery because theyre horrible 80% of the time. I got some lemon and key lime tarts last night and when I bit it, the whipped cream was literally just whipped cream. No sugar. No vanilla. Nothing. Just cream. It was horrible. And on top of that, one of the lemon tarts still had a sticker on the mini lemon slice on top! Like are you kidding? You couldnt even peel the sticker off before you cut the lemon?Im just really disappointed in myself for constantly going back to buy more and its just as bad as the last time. I wasted money on those tarts. Wasted gas money going there. I ended up just going to the other location tonight for everything that I needed.
I was very impressed with the selection of vegan desserts, meat replacements, dairy-free cheese, vegan yogurt, etc. The store was very clean, and I would recommend this location. Overall great experience!
Love this place! Especially the fresh breads!! Best frickin bread around!
We are lways pleased with their products.
The stars depend on what your shopping for or eating there. The bar with the lunch specials are delicious 4.5 star with the chicken avocado, blackened chicken or the cheeseburger sandwiches. The french fries are fresh cut, yum. The pizza bar looks gourmet and is in my book a 1 star because they are burnt, skimpy on the toppings and cold to eat. The hot food bar I cannot judge because I have not had it yet. The fresh bakery is Delicious, I had the flour-less chocolate cake, my my my was it Good 5 Star on that. Produce is fresh and Ill update later results of my feasting. They also stock some really cool soap.
Everything is 20% more than any other grocery store and the section wasnt great. There are some specialty items but i can find them other places with better quality and lower prices. Wont be going back.
First time at Whole foods. I really liked it !!!So clean and non - chaotic like popular food stores that have been around forever !!!Not as pricey as I thought it would be .Overall, fantastic!!!
Rude employees only one was a caring understanding person he could see I was shopping for someone else and gave me a quick lesson in organic produce. I understand masks but dont be rude I walked in and no employee walked up to me. they yelled from 20 feet away cover your nose more no excuse me no sir please
Great selection great food beautiful store thank you for not being Kroger
Expensive and full of hippies but high quality stuff
Produce at this store is some of the best you’ll find anywhere in Milwaukee. Convenient Amazon returns desk when ya need one. Like anywhere, know your prices on goods when you shop here because some items are pricey compared to other local grocery stores. Some things are worth paying extra for, some aren’t.
Great place to shop after returning Amazon products.
They were trying to get $3.50 for some $2.79 kombucha. They had some on sale but required Amazon prime, a service I actually do use, but didn’t have on me. Every other grocery store (a) has a rewards system that you can sign up for in-store, and (b) it’s free, unless it’s like costco where you’re paying a fee for a good deal. Here, you’re supposed to pay $144/year for a membership to occasionally not get screwed over, and you must walk around with a gps/camera/microphone system produced by an advertising company in order to utilize this membership.Reject the botnet. 70% of Milwaukee’s crime problems are associated with lead, which Bezos could singlehandedly pay to entirely remediate with just a fraction of the wealth that he accumulated last year. Get your $2 bananas at a local overpriced food cooperative.Alright place to pick up Amazon packages if your crib isn’t a safe place to pick stuff up, though.
Bulk tea. Pact clothing. Their cookies are great!
I dont think I have ever had such I bad experience with any grocery store, much less one that claims to have high standards for quality. During the mask thing people are very concerned, I get it. I dont believe in wearing masks, however I WAS WEARING ONE. My mother, sisters and I were all wearing masks, however one the the employees had a problem with the material of our masks and hunted us down to inform us that our masks are not acceptable (the same mask I have been wearing for 8 months no problem.) I am 25 years old and I expect to be treated with respect and kindness. If the employee checking for masks at the door had no problems, and the 4 other employees I passed in the produce section didnt feel it nessasary to say something it sure seemed to be a personal opinion. However, that isnt the root of the problem, whatever happened to simply being kind. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. She was rude, combative and down right in our face. We simply just left and have no intentions of going back.
Excellent customer service and a wonderful shopping experience all the time.
Best grocery experience for a foodie ever.
Love Whole Foods! Best Honey Crisp apples by far!Only wish theyd open a store in Oak Creek.
Although for me the prices are high it has phenomenal essential oils that are all natural safe and good to use it has a wonderful selection of every kind of meat vegetable everything you could want on the grocery list it also has a bakery a food court a very small food court bar prices are a little high but I think if you were looking for something particular that would be the place to go
Honestly this Whole Foods is ok. I prefer the one downtown but since I live in Menomonee Falls this one is closer. Between the employees and their selection of things being smaller or at times not existent, I only come to get a handful of things now that I can only get from there.
Didnt have a big supply maybe others got there b4 me???
The store itself is massive, and has a fantastic selection of whatever you can imagine. The cider area is particularly good. The biggest problem with this Whole Foods is the amount of Prime Now shoppers that are running around the store fulfilling orders. They always seem to be in the way of something I need. On an already crowded weekend shopping trip, this really detracts from the experience.
What a frustrating situation!I ordered a 1/2 sheet Chantilly cake from the bakery one week ago and came to pick up the cake today. When I arrived to pick up the cake, the blonde white bakery lady helping me gave me the wrong cake. I told her last name Lor and she gave me a cake for another Asian person. Then, I told her she had the wrong person and she took away the cake. She came back said “I’m sorry” and told me they didn’t make the cake because they couldn’t do a 1/2 sheet. She said they had tried to call me once to tell me this information. I asked her what they could do as I was expecting to pick up the cake and leave out of town. If there were other Chantilly cakes being made today. She said I could call the Whole Foods in Milwaukee to see if they had the cake. I asked her when the Chantilly cake would be ready and she told me 1 hr. Then, 5 mins later she told me they only had two 8” mixed berry cakes and it would be ready in 2 hrs. I told her this was a significant delay in our plans as we needed to go out of town.We ended up going to the Whole Foods in Milwaukee to pick up two Chantilly 8” cakes and the person helping us there told us we should have been offered a free cake. She told us we can special order the 1/2 sheet Chantilly cake (what I originally had asked from the Tosa bakery). When the Tosa bakery lady called me, I told her we are canceling the order. Then, she hung up on me. Rude!I called customer service for Tosa who apologized and said I could pick up a $25 gift card that we can come pick up next time we are in.Tips for next time Tosa Bakery Lady: 1) call the Whole Foods Milwaukee and make sure they could hold two Chantilly cakes - give me the gift card then 2) offer the customer another cake for free or 3) Make an 8” Chantilly cake as the bakery knew I was coming to pick the cake up today.Make sure to call the day before to make sure your cake is ready. Also, don’t expect the bakery folks at Tosa to help you or go above and beyond. Milwaukee’s customer service was so much better!
So nice that they have allowed Amazon to have a locker inside of the store, makes it a easy pickup location for shipping items to it,. Safer pick up.
Pleasant, helpful staff. Clean and well stocked . Nice variety of items, especially if youre looking for plant based or vegan foods.
Very clean and good customer service
Gr8 selection for allergy and food sensitive as well as quality healthy food
So I was wearing a mask but I had to take a phone call from my sister, since no one was in my isle I didnt think anything of pulling it down to answer her. This clerk walking past stops dead tracks turn around just to tell me to put my mask up... like seriously, have you ever tried to answer the phone with a mask on and besides no one is even around me....Then my son went to ask me a question so he pulled his mask down... same thing, this woman stops and tells him to put his mask up.... I dont know how you people talk thru these things... but Im sorry, I cant and thats rude.... this is why people hate masks, because of the mask nazis
While the produce and food are generally very good and fresh, I’ve had subpar experiences with the staff. The cashiers are usually unfriendly. My last trip, the cashier didn’t make eye contact with me once. It’s a stark contrast to places like Trader Joe’s where the food and staff are great. Usually, if I have time, I’ll go to Trader Joe’s instead.
Not crowded at all, fast check outs. Prices higher than other grocery stores.
That was my first visit to whole foods and it was ok for me. I had a purpose for going and was satisfied with my purchases but they are a bit pricey. I will go back if what I need is not available at my other spots
I went to what I thought was the customer service counter and asked a middle aged bald woman where the expiration date on my bread was and she gave me the dirtiest look and said it’s from the freezer, there’s no date on those with a very poor attitude. Great food, horrible service.
The most beautiful flowers! And less expensive than picknsaves too!
Colleen ....the Meat Master and Seafood Slayer made my Thanksgiving amazing with her great attention to my poultry needs. She is awesome and is what makes this store great!
I like this location they had what I needed and it was very easy to find what I was looking for and the cashier was very kind.
This is a nice store. Friendly checkout.
The Employees are rude, with there opinions. Theres no reason for them to be nasty. It makes me not want to support the entire franchise.
Bright clean and stocked. I found everything I needed. A bit pricey but healthy is pricey.
Was a Amazon shopper. Personally I dont like the store shelves was empty or either out stock when u ask employee who work there that are rude askin for them help they dont as a shopper I would still have shop some else because they dont stock up .. But really the employees at wholefoods are rude if . i fired because of poor training form amazon not now what to do and got fired. Over all i would give the store 0 but 1 is been nice and .. Comment back if u like . but hey im just one person ..
Pricey, but cant beat their organic produce or deli prepared food. Nice array of health products too.
Clean, organized and cashier was very friendly
A bit pricey however proper healthy foods.
As much money as that food cost and the workers get paid they customer service is HORRIBLE never greet you always got attitudes hire new workers
I love whole foods nice variety!
Honestly the customer service is good, but they have a very limited International section that left me disappointed. It also adds another stop on my shopping trip to get things that were not available.
Wonderful staff! This store has just about everything you need. Phenomenal products at reasonable prices
Nice fresh organic produce at reasonable prices. Nice selection on beans and grains prepackaged, priced and measured. Very clean. Friendly service.
Just picked up a package here. Nice and convenient and safe!
Good variety of items. Plenty of cashiers at the registers.
In the COVID days the store was well set up to make sure patrons had masks, hand sanitizer and wipes to wipe down carts. Aisles were one way to ensure good flow of traffic. Areas were cleared to ensure patrons were not crowded together. All staff was working hard to keep store clean and shelves stocked despite clear signs that customer buying was up recently. Nice! I will be back. Before you go, check Whole Food website for notices and health warnings.
My wife has celiac and whole foods carries tons of gluten free options. Clean and well organized 👌
A little pricey but nice selection~ many of us cant afford to eat healthy...unfortunately!
I have never been treated so badly by an employee of any grocery store before, much less one that charges twice as much as walmart. I am willing to spend money on quality, healthy food, however I don’t spend that kind of money to be treated badly by rude and combative employees.
Okay. Was a little disappointed in the selections available in the fresh veggies section.
Your typical Whole Foods Market. Nothing uniquely different. Newer construction, decently stocked, and sufficiently staffed.
The downtown Milwaukee location hasthe Best pizza I have had in many years. Unconventional, oval shaped and just plain Good Food! Ill have toTry it more than once To give a reliable rating based on CONSISTENCY.
I wish I could shop here more often as they have almost everything I need but it feels like most of the time since Amazon bought WF someone is asking for money in the parking lot or through out the store (typically men). As a woman I do not feel safe shopping here alone. Please control the pan handle situation and I will shop more. Right now I shop at three different stores to get everything I need just to avoid WF. After the last time, about a month ago, I swore to never return alone again. I dont know how none of the reviews I am seeing mention this.
I love Whole Foods, but this store isnt great. The seafood counter is particularly bad...so its really worth going to the downtown MKE store instead!
I shop here fairly regularly and Ive always found it to be very well stocked and clean. Its also got cool outdoor seating and a pretty nice bar area (plus, you can shop with your glass of wine if you want). The staff here do a really good job at actually caring. Never wait long at the counters, you never seem like youre bugging the staff - theyre always really attentive & seem genuinely happy to help. Most recently I had a bad throat and was looking for advice on what to take to soothe it and the staff member who helped me (I think Caesar was his name) was SOOOO knowledgeable and helpful.Ive shopped at lots of Whole Foods locations and this one is a favourite!
Organic but overpriced
We went there to get our Christmas dinner. We waited about 40 minutes. We watched someone who came way after us get there food so we call them. They said they accidentally gave them our food. We waited another 10 minutes to get our food back. They did give us a 20 dollar gift card which Id why my review is 2 stars not 1.
Matt at Register 5 on 6/18 provided friendly and expedited service. He was knowledgeable about his tomato sauces for a good chicken parm recipe. Made it a really pleasant shopping experience even as we chatted through masks. Thanks, Matt!
New year 2021 will be my year of new trials and BEGINNINGS not era. Time to change my eating habits. Be ready to see me with a twist I will show everything I will be making, and eating.
Great selection and great service.
Good place to shop during Covid. Nicely priced specials for Prime members.
Great store
I know we cannot retrieve items from the HOT food bar but, its still pretty good. Have a lot of good food too offer.
They will not let you in to pick up an Amazon package if there is a line. So be prepared to wait in a line of 25 people on a weekend for a trip that should take 37 seconds. I wouldnt go here to actually shop for this reason!! Poor customer service!
This store is clean. Everything looked so fresh.☺
Never have enough popular items stocked like the 360 plant based chicken style pattys...frustrating.
Safe and clean and the workers are very friendly 👌.
I stopped by here to grab a latte and was pleasantly surprised. The service was very expedient and the pricing of the coffee is even better. What really made this a hat was that the latte was one of the better lattes I’ve had in the past three months. The only odd thing here is that the coffee bar is actually inside Whole Foods and it doesn’t look that way when you look it up on the maps. I was looking for a separate storefront.Do yourself a favor and swing in here the next time you want a good latte or cappuccino for a decent price and you won’t regret it.
Amazing organic produce
