Very rude costumer service from 1 of the employees.Just because we are trying to decide about which game buy.He says we are making his job hard because I move a game from the place and he says we are making look the place dirty for the same reason. I don’t know what is his issue.And I mean that is okay if you don’t want us to touch your games, but at least see the way how do you gonna talk to everyone, everyone deserves respect. like we are doing that in purpose, that’s not the way how do you talk with people we are trying to buy something not bothering you.I feel very disrespected when he talk to me like that, so I just told my bf to leave the place.And i don’t know you bud, but if you are trying to make look those games in orden you are not doing a good job.There was other guy he was nice he talk with us first he was very friendly.

The staff in here is great. Im usually accompanied by my 3 year old grandson. The guys always take time to engage with him no matter how busy they are. They are super knowledgeable and very personable.

A couple of months ago, I had bought a ps5 bundle, it came with a game i was not interested in, i attempted to trade in, was told I couldnt be cause it was un opened and that means its stolen.Another issue today, i was buying a new and used game was told I needed to purchase separately to use my power up rewards because the used game was on sale. I seperated them, and then was told the used game was only on sale if buying a new game with it. That unfortunately I would need to purchase another new game to receive the discount.I would not recommend using this store.I have canceled my membership and will shop elsewhere.

Theres an associate that follows and stares at my husband and I when we go into this gamestop. Its very unsettling. This guy has gave us multiple issues before. Hes very unprofessional and makes the visits very uncomfortable.

Marlayna at this GameStop is phenomenal— she is very smart and very charming. She had extensive knowledge of what was currently in-stock/available, all of the current sales/pricing & never ran out of patience with my endless questions. I haven’t played video games in over a decade, but Marlayna got me up to date with all the best systems & games available in 2020. She is a good listener & was very helpful in choosing products tailored to my interests and lifestyle. I purchased a new Nintendo Switch console— there were only two left! I felt great about my purchase thanks to Marlayna. It was Black Friday & she had phone calls coming in every few minutes, but she was extremely graceful in how she multitasked. Exemplary client management skills & wonderful interaction— every one was happy & well attended to. The dark haired gentlemen at the counter were very helpful & friendly as well— I was there till close & never felt harried in my shopping. I loved Marlayna’s beautiful blue silk Eevee face mask too. Very professional team here.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was very naive about gaming, but everyone at this GameStop made me feel at ease with their wonderful interpersonal skills. I will be shopping at this location only! Thank you to every one here.

Loads of stuff on Clearance right now! Staff was helpful. He made exchanges easier for my significant other when it came to xbox one controllers and accessories. We are happy he offered the warranty because it came in handy. Always love the merchandise.

I enjoy checking out the latest deals here and they seem to have more collectibles than other Gamestops in my area. The workers are easy to talk to as well and give advice on personal recommendations.

I love GameStop. I always have. But one thing that they lack is older generations. I ordered 2 xbox 360 wired controllers. What was shipped to me were two controllers one was off brand, and the other was not even made for xbox. It had one joystick, no dpad, and no triggers. It still had the X logo but it was attrocious. 4 stars because they refunded me the money (minus the $6 for shipping) and they were courteous. My word of advice, stick to new games and new deals if you want to shop at this company.

Ive shopped this GameStop location several times and have never had a bad experience. The most recent time was to find out if some old video game hardware was able to be traded-in for store credit (pretty old hardware). It wasnt unfortunately, however, the the clerk was very helpful in recommendation of a recycling center or other possible locations for a trade-in.Four stars due to the fact that GameStop consistently has high prices and this location is no different. They also use a Pro Membership option which is a paid membership to give you very minor discounts in store and free shipping online.

Used to be a decent store, as time changes policies change. Purchased a used copy of siege and it stopped working about a week and a half later, went in to trade it in for a different copy but apparently my week was up and I now have to pay another $45 for the same game thats not even guaranteed to work. This company used to care about its customers.. now its only concern is our pockets. Im no longer shopping at these locations and I wouldve given you all 5 stars but the best I can do is 2 stars trade in value.

Didnt have games even though boxes was on shelf for them

I went in this morning right at opening in my work clothes as I work third shift. The employees followed me around. They were rude and disrespectful. I left and came ti the Staunton store and am currently waiting for them to open. I will never go back to this store. I had money to spend and was only deciding how I wanted to spend it. But that store wont get another dime.

Store credit of less than a 3rd of cost. Numerous used systems broken after warranty expires. Used games that take months to get to a place that they just quit working. Overpriced merchandise all around generally speaking. If there was another place to go I would. Amazon all day or digital download.

My shopping experience was pleasant quick and very knowledgeable cashier.She was able to help me place.an order on line and have it delivered in time for.Christmas.She explained all the different shipping.and helped me find the quickest one.I even.came home with one game they had in stock so very good customer service.Polite and very.timely.delivery! I will definitely shop again there for Wii and DS games.

The store manager Nathan is extremely pushy on trying to get you to get a membership. After telling him no 3 times and then while I am looking around goes behind my back to ask the woman I was with if we were signing up for the membership. Hey Nate maybe there is a reason at your age your a manager at a video game store loser. No means no.

Not a huge fan of GameStop as a whole but this one has earned my business. While other GameStops will be really pushy about preorders, pro card, etc.... This one they ask once sometimes twice and thats it. This store has amazing customer service, I watched them look for about 15 min for a game someone wanted, the system said in stock but it wasnt in the right location.Pros:•Friendly staff•they dont try and push the typical crap other GameStops do, they ask once or twice and thats it.Cons:•small, this wouldnt be a con if the corporate office didnt keep making them add stuff.
