Sara and Jason did our bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. Since we are out of state, we communicated 100% by email (by our choice). They were so easy to work with and were super flexible whenever I wanted to make changes or found new inspiration photos. They nailed our vision for our flowers, the prices were reasonable, and everything looked absolutely beautiful!

We were so happy to work with Sara and Jason for our wedding in June at The Market at Grelen. They worked within our budget and were very flexible with changes I made throughout the wedding planning process. All of the flower arrangements turned out beautiful especially the bouquets. We also loved using wooden boxes provided by Faded Poppy as our centerpieces because guests were able to take the boxes home and reuse them. Sara and Jason were simply amazing to work with for our wedding! Not knowing much about flowers at all, I sent Sara a few examples of arrangements, styles and colors that I liked, and they came through with choosing and designing the most perfect flowers for our special day. All of the flower décor from my bridal bouquet to the bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower girl basket and our arbor décor piece was gorgeous and exactly what we were envisioning. Sara and Jason were so accommodating and easy to work with throughout the whole process, even as I made changes to our requests adding numbers of boutonnieres/corsages and requesting some cake flowers at the last minute. They were the first vendors to arrive at our venue on our wedding day to set up, so it was great for a bride to see flowers already being put into place by the time she arrived. Between the time that the flowers were set up on the arbor for the ceremony and the time the ceremony started, a terrible thunderstorm came through the area with heavy rain and high winds that ended up knocking the arbor over completely, flowers and all – luckily the storm passed quickly and we had a beautiful evening for the ceremony, but as a testament to their quality, the flowers survived the storm beautifully and all in one piece, still providing a gorgeous backdrop while we tied the knot!

Sara and Jason were wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process, and we absolutely loved our flowers! I didnt know much about flowers, and so gave Sara a rough idea of what I was looking for and she absolutely delivered! I was also unsure and went back and forth on a few decisions towards the end, but Sara was always patient with me, sent me multiple proposals to review, and stayed calm when we almost moved the wedding inside the day before. I also thought that the flowers were extremely reasonably priced!

PHENOMENAL!! Wanting to surprise my wife for our 11-year dating anniversary, I sent FP a picture of my wifes wedding bouquet to see if they could match it. They totally delivered! Ive known Sarah and Jason for years, and though they have not planned a wedding for me, Ive been in the mercantile several times, and the store is adorable, well-organized, and a lot of things are reused/ecofriendly (like the reusable shelf price tags, paper bags etc.). I would also like to personally dispute the recent one-star review of Jason. Jason is one of the most polite people Ive ever known, and he is incapable of yelling. I cant even imagine him getting visibly frustrated.

My first impression of Jason happened before I knew who he was. While trying to carry out my duties as a wedding coordinator for my church, he interrupted me and seemed to blame me for the fact that the couple had booked both of us for wedding coordination by mistake. He yelled at me loudly in front of the wedding party and continued to be rude to me while we tried to figure out how to address the situation. I offered to back down and allow him to coordinate the ceremony, thinking that things might run smoother for the wedding party because ultimately, a smooth ceremony is much more important than making a scene. But the wedding party decided to use my help for the ceremony instead.I had intended to use The Faded Poppy for my own wedding, and was mere days away from making the call to book them. I am glad this happened because I certainly do not need a vendor who is rude to others without cause. I would warn any future customers looking for a vendor that this wedding coordinator does not hesitate to offend.

Like so many people we realized that a Christmas package mailed earlier in the week through the US postal service was not going to reach my mother-in-law in time for Christmas. So at 10am on Christmas Eve I started calling Waynesboro florists to see if there was anyway they could get an arrangement to my MIL at Summit Ridge retirement community. The first 2 or 3 were unable to deliver an arrangement on such short notice. I was about to give up but then spoke to a lovely lady at the Faded Poppy who told me that they could indeed get a nice arrangement put together AND delivered today! My MIL texted us this afternoon a picture of the flowers and she LOVED them. From now on whenever we need to send flowers to my MIL we will be calling the Faded Poppy first. They are wonderful to work with!

Sara and Jason are amazing! We planned our wedding in Virginia from Massachusetts, and it was so easy to communicate with The Faded Poppy -- they were super organized and always got back to us quickly! We also thought the pictures that they included in the proposals made it so much easier to visualize what they were suggesting. They were so respectful of our budget and were so willing to accommodate changes in the arrangements we wanted. On our wedding day, we were both blown away by how beautiful the flowers were. Up until our wedding day, neither of us would have said that flowers were a huge priority, but both my husband and I agreed that the arrangements that Sara and Jason put together were one of our favorite details on our wedding day. We also got so many compliments from our guests. Our only regret is that we left for our honeymoon right after our wedding so we didn’t get to enjoy our flowers after our wedding day. Our guests loved taking home the arrangements though!

There are so many amazing things to say about The Faded Poppy - when I first stepped into their shop in June of 2019, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with Sara and Jason. Sara listened to every idea I had and was very actively thinking of ways to make my vision come true. This was very different from other florists I met with, who seemed to have too many of their own ideas to listen to mine. Their prices are extremely fair, and we ended up using The Faded Poppy for our Rehearsal Dinner and Bridal Luncheon as well. The real magic of this floral shop came when COVID hit - I remember receiving a phone call from Jason on March 14th, right before my wedding had been officially postponed and he was hellbent on reassuring me that everything, from flowers to the I Dos we still going to be perfect no matter what! When we made the decision to cancel two days later, there were no questions asked and The Faded Poppy made every effort to keep things amazing. They offered to do arrangements for my backyard COVID wedding on our original date and then were extremely flexible when it came to decreasing numbers, changes in location, and all the other drama that comes with a COVID wedding! I constantly felt supported and special and like COVID had nothing on the dream day The Faded Poppy wanted to help me create. I love this floral shop, and want to get married to my husband a third time just so I can work with Sara and Jason again!

Sara with the Faded Poppy was the florist and wedding planner. She had to navigate a Pandemic as well as a curve ball from Mother Nature! Sara and Jason were a delight to work with! They were extremely responsive, dealt with my constant changes and questions, and were always willing to do research and find an answer if I asked a question that they did not already have an answer to. Booking a florist from out of town, not having actually met them, can be difficult. Ill be honest, even though I knew they had great reviews, I sent many inspirational photos and was very detailed in what I wanted, I still had a bit of uneasiness. You just never know if what youre conveying to someone via email will be interpreted correctly, and I was worried that maybe they wouldnt understand the look I was going for, but trust me, Sara and Jason knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and they did not disappoint!! When my flowers were delivered on the morning of my wedding, I was completely blown away! They were exactly what I wanted and even more!! Jason and Rachel delivered and set up the flowers on the morning of, and they were both extremely friendly and knew exactly what they were doing. My bouquet, the centerpieces, and every floral piece they assembled were GORGEOUS!!! Many of our guests commented on how absolutely beautiful they were! After the wedding, I brought as many of the centerpieces home as I could and set them all around our house so that we could enjoy them for as long as possible. I couldnt stop staring at them!!! My only wish is that they could have all been preserved so they could last forever! I promise, if you use Sara and Jason as your wedding florists, you will not be disappointed!!

The flowers they provided were all beautiful! We had gorgeous centerpieces and bouquets and boutonnieres.I was a little nervous up until the day because it was hard to figure out what exactly we were getting. I knew it would be 17 centerpieces and they would have tulips and thistle and some other flowers in them, but I had no idea if they would be skinny or tall or what. It would have been nice to have heard back from them with a description of what I was actually getting when they said one arbor decoration. If I had known it would be just one big arrangement in the middle I would have had the venue put up the fabric they offered, too.It was also a little hard to decide what we wanted because nothing was quoted per piece. There was just a big total at the bottom, so I didnt know if (when budgeting) I should cut out the arbor arrangement because it was super expensive or if it was cheap and leave it in there. It also made it feel like they were sort of making up the prices.It was a big surprise 8 days before the wedding to get an email saying they hadnt quoted me for vases so could I get the vases to them the week before the wedding (you mean tomorrow?) Everything turned out great (we bought mason jars from them for $2/piece) but I was a bit unsure and surprised up until then.

Their flowers looked like they were on another level and they didnt disappoint. Sara and Jason were very accommodating and worked within our budget to make our wedding day look amazing. I loved that we did this because they were completely in the know of every detail in regards to the flow of the day AND setup/decor. Throughout the entire process, they were very responsive and easy to work with. One thing that I love about the florals is that all bouquets are always unique to each bride! They truly have an artistic touch on everything they do, which makes each wedding they do that much more personal. The florals were outstanding and perfectly placed in all parts of the day. Planning the day itself was a breeze with them and they helped me make sure we had everything done prior to the wedding. Jason executed the entire day flawlessly and the hiccups in the day weren’t even noticed at all. Sara and Jason do such amazing work! They really helped me hone in on my picture for florals at my wedding. They were absolutely gorgeous and so unique. They selected amazing flowers for the bouquets. I received so many complements. Our centerpieces lasted almost a whole month post wedding. Sara and Jason set up all the centerpieces for us and delivered everything straight to us. They were super accommodating the day of and also when I changed my ideas 4 or 5 times. Sorry guys. She took the time to meet with me and finalize everything. Before the wedding. I am so happy we went with faded poppy. They are so reasonable and offer such great quality of work and flowers. True artists.They are also dog lovers which makes them just awesome to the core. They made our flower pup a beautiful arrangement, delivered in a glass vase for a VERY IMPORTANT PUP...not to mention they also left our flower pup a treat (which she absolutely loved). My only regret is not using Sara as a day of coordinator. From all I have seen she really helps create amazing visions.

Information online says they are open until 5. Went by today at 4:15 and they were already closed. Very annoying, as its not a holiday of any sort, I see no reason why they wouldnt be open the hours they say they are.
