This was a totally unexpected surprise in the heart of Waynesboro! We have traveled to several tea houses around Asia, but nothing ever as delightful as this. This is a British style tea party including scones and dinner sandwiches. Bring your daughter and she will instantly up her tea party game! We will return again and again!

Wonderful little tea shop. We made reservations for 4 and were seated right away. Great customer service. You get to choose which tea you would like from an extensive menu and a little pot arrives. There is a warmer next to each place setting to keep your pot warm. We ordered the Queen for lunch which consists of soup, scones with cream and curd, finger sandwiches, and little deserts. Charming gift shop as well.

Wow amazing the inside the aroma smells of tea is feel relaxing so beautiful and romantic ideal for date night for those tea lovers.

Took my wife and mother-in-law as a mothers day gift. Take some time to look at the online store to see their selection of teas because there are a lot. The food is incredibly tasty, and well presented, the portions look small but are very filling. I dont know if I missed it on their website or not but the teas are served both hot and cold. The staff there were very busy yet still felt like they were taking the time to help and accommodate all of the customers there which was nice. The final thing I have to say doesnt apply to my experience as much but it was very cute, they keep an assortment of fancy hats that a few little girls were trying on while having their tea party. The whole experience was very nice.

Lovely tea service for me, my mother, and my daughter. They offer a large assortment of teas, and boast a bice gift shop, too. They went to the trouble of making my mother a gluten free assortment of goodies. My daughter loved the cupcake and sandwiches that came with the childrens tea service. I highly recommend this place for afternoon tea!

Wonderful tea room!!!! Victorian decor, great tea & food. We went here for the Mothers Day Tea. It was fabulous! Nice gift shop too.

The choice of tea flavors to choose from is superb and they sell the teas there to buy and take home. Great service and I love that you had your own heated teapot!! The scones are more of a biscuit than what I think of scones but still good!!

Loved it! The whole experience was so.... like going back in time almost! Beautiful inside... tea was great... the sandwiches were delicious...gift shop has do many nice things including the flavors of loose tea that they serve. I highly recommend it. I have done the princess and queen teas. Both of those have unlimited pots of tea which is really nice so you can try many flavors. So far everyone Ive brought here has loved it as well!

I am so impressed by this place, that I look forward to going every time. I was just there for a bridal shower and after I just recommed Tranquila TEA to my mom so now we are going next week and I cant wait!

One of my favorite places. Its charming, beautiful, and quiet. The service is excellent and their selection of teas is great. Good food, too, with a wide variety of scones, sandwiches, and desserts every day. Id suggest making reservations, though.

The best tea house in southern/central PA. We drive down from Harrisburg at least once a year. The owner is amazing and if you let them know ahead of time they will make dietary adjustments, etc.

My daughters, granddaughter and I always go to Christmas tea each year. This year we went to TranquilaTea and had a perfectly enjoyable time. The venue is cozy, the table beautiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. Food and tea were wonderful from the soup to the scones to the sandwiches and dessert. My granddaughter was especially happy since the offer hot cocoa, since she isnt a tea lover. An enjoyable time was had by all and I highly recommend a visit to TranquilaTea.

A beautiful little tea house. Friendly staff and tasty food. Also a convenient location. On street parking was available right out front.

I love Tranquilitea!! Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious, as well as the tea. The gift shop is also very nice with quite a variety of items. Have been there many times and always love going back.

I dont care at all for Tea and wasnt going to go but my mom said that I would like it, so I went and it was amazing. Love the pink color of the building.

I absolutely adore this place. They have the best high tea! The food is delicious and the selection of teas is amazing.

Treated disrespectfully. I went with friends to a tea with reservations made the day prior. Over the phone, TranquilaTea stated they could not accommodate a gluten free diet for the next day. (I have Celiac, a severe gluten allergy) I stopped on my way there and got a medium fry and drink and planned on still having tea with my friends. There were no other patrons in the Tearoom. Our waitress told me if we give them at least 5 days notice they can get GF. Within a couple minutes, another woman approached me and said they CAN get gluten free and no outside food is allowed. 1. I was just informed by our waitress of the GF options & 2. The reservation was the day prior, so NO she couldn’t get me GF. I was taken aback. So, I guess she thought I should sit with friends and watch them eat for 2 hours and just drink tea. I left our waitress know I felt the comments were very rude. The tea itself was, however, good. I’m not sure with all of the cold spreads and sandwich salads, I would be safe from cross-contamination anyway.

Attended a bridal shower which was lovely, except that there was NO accommodation for my daughter, who is vegan. Sadly we were told they would need prior notice. We drove in from out of state and were no aware of this policy. There happened to be another guest who apparently knew this, and was served a fruit cup and salad of lettuce. Two questions- did they literally only have enough for one? And, how is that a vegan option when there are so many things they could have served? My entire experience was tainted because I watched my daughter sit thru the entire shower with literally nothing to eat.

The cutest place, smells amazing and lives up to its name bc its so quiet and peaceful. I wanted to spend an absurd amount of money right away but ill save that for next time.
