My car looks great! I cant tell where there was damage. I was promised my car back on October 6th but it was returned 2 days early. They also washed and vacuumed it out. I also liked that they sent me updates about what was going on with my car on a daily basis. This was my first time using Schaefer but if anything happens to Teddy(my car) in the future, he will definitely be going back.

My husband hit an animal and really messed up our car. And they fixed my car. They was so nice and the work they did was amazing. And it didnt take that long. I would definitely go back.. thank you guys for your awesome work.

I was involved in an accident on march 4th, 2021 & mitch did the repairs & cant even tell theyre were any damages. He gets a 10 for everything. He is truely awesome & amazing. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby.

The guys at Shaefer were all so great! My estimated repair time was a week and half and my car was ready early. They called multiple times throughout the week to update me. They did everything they could to get my total cost down and I didn’t feel as if they were out for more money. Lastly, they offered to bring my car to my work when I couldn’t make it before they closed to pick it up. AWESOME customer service!!

The service here is top quality and the staff is very friendly. I came in with some dents on my door, I got it back and looks nothing ever happened. Getting the car back better than it went in is definitely what they strive for. I will recommend them to anyone I know needing body work.

I brought my Cobra here to have the passenger door aligned since it wasnt shutting correctly without some effort. I initially brought it there for a quote and then scheduled a drop-off time. They had the car done earlier than I expected and for the quoted price. No complaints and so far, so good.

The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, but beyond them it was a mess. I called in for the first time June 3 and due to many many unreturned phone calls my car was not taken in for repair until Aug 6 and not returned to me until Aug 18 (when I was originally told 1-2 days for the repair). I was told I would receive phone calls from Aaron, regional manager, countless times only to never hear from him. As for the rental car they provided me while they did my repair, I turned in a midsized SUV for repair and was given a Hyundai Elantra to drive for the next almost 2 weeks. I am 38 weeks pregnant, have a toddler in a full size carseat and have a husband that is 6’8”, so needless to say we were unable to use the rental car (or go anywhere as a family in 1 car) for that time period because we physically couldn’t fit. I would think they would match the size/style of car you are repairing for the customers convenience. The door was repaired and repainted, but the door handle still has an unpainted scratch on it but I honestly don’t have the time or energy at this point to pursue them to try to get it fixed.

I appreciate their great work and professionalism, and their friendliness. I also appreciate the fact that they use original parts!

We had a fender bender and they did the repair/replacement work and repainting. They did a fantastic job.

BE WARY OF USING FOR INSURANCE WORK!!Be very careful using these guys. Even though they were told multiple times that we may not go through with repairs due to the situation and clearly asked to be contacted before any work or charges were began they are charging $310 to simply do an insurance estimate on a vehicle that was decided to take a cash settlement on. This was never communicated and I specifically asked multiple times along the process to try and avoid something like this from happening.Their entire business is based on providing estimates for repairs, this is a cost of them doing business, it shouldnt be passed on to a potential customer. This was an authorized repair facility through State Farm, this is a fairly common scenario they should be prepared for.Be wary, there are more professional shops out there.

Went to get my car looked at to see how much damage was done. Ask for how much damage was done and how much to paint the whole truck. Only got what was damaged. Tired to call 40 times and no answer. Still waiting for my insurance company to get ahold of them. They won’t answer phone or call back. Thanks for nothing. Void this place please.

I was hit by a semi and Schaefer Auto Body took excellent care of me, kept me informed of everything that was going on, even on the back order items that they were waiting for my car. Excellent work from the office staff to the guys working on my car and a special thank you to Mitch at the Wentzville Missouri location and all his staff.

Was there due to deer running into us. They made it so easy and painless. Once picked up our vehicle it was like it was brand new. We would definitely go back due to their e excellent work and professional. A+++

First of all, the staff were friendly. However, there were definitely areas that could be improved. In the past, Ive had work done on a vehicle and the other shop made sure my interior was detailed, paper was on the floor, the whole nine so I got my car back even better than when I took it in.At Schaefer... Well, they put a rag in my car with their logo on it, presumably so I could wipe up all the dust coating the interior of my car from their shop when I picked it up.The communication was okay, mostly because I signed up for their text alerts which I believe are automatic. One time I supposedly received a phone call stating when my car was going to be finished (I didnt). I had to call myself, and the coordinator acted like he didnt want to talk to me at first because I had already received the call.The date to pick up my car was pushed back twice, which may not actually be their fault. I know shipping items with COVID-19 abound can lead to delays or complications.All in all, if you have the option to take your car elsewhere, might be best. But if not, they will do the work itself well enough. Just be prepared to clean up after them, and call yourself for updates.

I am very impressed with my entire experience with Schaefer autobody. They finished my car a day early. The fender is perfect, paint matches. And my car was washed and wiped down.Mitch was exceptionally helpful and keep me up to date on the progress. I would rate this business as a Ten! Thank you, I love my Subaru.

Had hail damage repaired to a brand new truck. 4000 milea on truck. No signs at all of damage. Truck looks brand new again. Lake St. Louis shop did great job.

This location in wentzville was more than accommodating. I have never had a crash or anything like this happen and Jori, the front desk worker, enterprise and everyone was BEYOND helpful understanding and educated me on the process. I’m so grateful!
