Terrific Mobil Service! After I purchased new Michelins from TireRack and pre-programmed TPMSs from Rock Auto; one of the techs, Jackson, came out and installed everything very quickly and efficiently. Im working remote so I was able to be in all my meetings while the he did the install. Jackson torqued all the lug nuts/studs to spec and the system recognized all the new sensors. This service is so much better than a typical garage where you spend a whole morning, the wheels arent balanced right and and the hardware is over-torqued. A+ service!

Momentum Tire and Wheel mobile service was awesome today. Jackson G was an hour early and had my Audi S5 wheels with snow tires mounted installed in about 30 minutes. He asked if I needed help carrying my summer wheels and tires into the garage. He checked the tire pressures and adjusted them to my specifications. I dont know how I would have improved the service today, and Jackson should be commended for his punctuality and professionalism. I have found my new favorite tire shop in Jersey....even if its a big mobile van!

I was recommended this place by someone and by looking at the great 5 star reviews I went on and did an appointment for today at 3 and they never showed up or called me to cancel or let me know they had issues. It wasn’t until I called and they told me that their truck broke down, but couldn’t call me before I called them to communicate this to me?! I have work and things to do, and they just thought it was okay not to communicate this issue with me. Definitely will never recommend them to anybody when they lack communication and letting me know they weren’t going to come ever. Truly disappointed and I could’ve turned into a total Karen but I’m pregnant right now and I’m not up for all that work. So, in conclusion don’t waste your time with them. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM. WORST EXPERIENCE. I had the mobile service come to my house to do my BMW M3 tires and the technician ruined ALL 4 wheels. You think hed stop after ruining 1 rim, but he continued and ruined all 4 rims and caused a bubble in 1 brand new tire. The rims looked as if theyve been curb rashed and had gouges. The rims were in mint condition and the tires were brand new from tire rack.The owner had the rims refinished and bought me a new tire and they still looked terrible and ever since they have a terrible vibration.I contacted the owner again and he pretty much told me to just eat it and its not his problem. Ill be taking this issue to small claims court. SAVE YOURSELF THOUSANDS and do not go here

I used Momentum to swap my winter tires. Carlos balanced and mounted them just right. Lug nuts were torqued to factory specs, the car drives straight and smooth at highway speeds. Price was reasonable too, same as what the dealer quoted me; except that I dont have to waste my time driving to them. Dropped my car off to get a tire replaced and they were very kind and helpful with getting the task done. They even replaced the metal cap on my other tire that was losing air due to the fact that it was stuck to the sensor and they put air in the tire. Or the owners provide a few options that also meet your needs.Having the mobile truck customized with the right tools to replace tires on your rims, balance them, and install them on your vehicle is an Amazing concept and my experience was excellent. My SUV was done right in front of my house in about 1 hour.The best thing? During the 1 hour, I was able to work from my home.Their prices are competitive and probably cheaper than any brick and mortar shop you go to (without having to wait 4 hours, in some experiences).Too bad they dont do brake! because I need a brake change soon.Highly recommend Momentum Tire and Wheel. I did not actually go to their location. They came to me at work. I ordered some tires online and had them shipped to Momentum. Then, we scheduled an appointment for them to install and balance the tires on my car’s wheels. Two guys arrived within the two hour window that we agreed upon and took a reasonable one hour and fifteen minutes to do the work and called me back outside when they were ready. The men were friendly and professional. The only downside is that they didn’t have change when I offered to pay cash and they didn’t have a mobile payment system working either, so they had to call my credit card info to their office. I’m deducting one star for this inconvenience. To my understanding, their mobile wheel balancing machine can’t apply a road force (it can’t simulate the effect of the road on the tire during balancing). However, as far as I can tell on these crumby roads, it makes no difference. Overall, I would recommend Momentum to anyone, especially those of us whose schedules aren’t flexible enough to wait for hours at a shop.

I’ve used Momentum Tire on 4 different occasions, once for a set of tires mounted on my wife’s car at home and once for a set of tires mounted on my car at work. Always right on schedule and even worked one of those times in the rain. They’re prices are very competitive and when you factor in the at home service they can’t be beat. I’ve been pleased overall and won’t hesitate to use them again and I’ve told all my friends about them.

Great idea. Tires ordered from Tirerack. Shipped to Momentum. And then they come and install them on your car. One day you get up and you have new tires on your car. No hassle. And the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Momentum several years ago and shared that experience with friends and online. My recent experience was terrible. I had an appointment to get tires installed and waited at home for the appointment. I received emails and texts, including the morning of the appointment confirming. After a reasonable time elapsed and no one showed up, I called. I was told they tried to contact me to cancel my appointment which was clearly a lie. Further conversation disclosed that the tires were never ordered and now mysteriously were not available. This despite several confirmation emails and texts. I was willing to accept a mistake, (particularly given my prior awesome experience) but lies and lack of apologies are inexcusable.

These guys did a decent job and did it fast to plug a hole in the tire. only gripe is price for me bringing it in. i get the mobile service upcharge but expected the drive-in to be a little cheaper than what i paid. I wont post prices out of respect to the shop - great quality overall.

I ordered from Tirerack.com on Wednesday, Momentum got them on Wednesday then delivered and mounted them at my place on Friday. Fast and professional service. This was the third time I used them and definitely will again.

Everything is as smooth as one can possibly ask for. Tech showed up exactly on time and all the work was done while I was in a meeting for a price thats better than any shop that I could find.Edit: A vibration developed shortly after. It was winter time and I didnt drive the car much so it was a few months later that I called asking about the vibration. They sent a tech over and re-balanced the front tires free of charge, and now the car is running perfect again. I cant say enough about their customer service!!!

As someone who does their own work on cars, to have a great, reliable, tire shop that comes to your house is amazing! Momentum did a perfect job and I will use them many times in the future. Note: I would use them every day for my daily driver. As for my speciality car, I may still use a high end tire shop. No knocking them, just for my high end rims, I may use a shop that specializes in high end rims. Will definitely use momentum and recommend them for any normal tire job.

Had some initial scheduling issues but they were resolved without any hassle. Installation was fast and the price was VERY reasonable considering they come to you! I ordered tires from Tire Rack, had them shipped directly to Momentum, and called to setup an install. They were able to schedule me a few days after they received the tires and came right to my home. The install technician was attentive, courteous, and made the whole process seamless.What really sets Momentum apart, though, is their customer service. After the tire install was complete, I had to drive on a 4-hour trip the next day. During the trip, the tires were vibrating excessively, which made me think they were unbalanced. I took the car to a local shop in the city I traveled to, and they stated that none of the tires had been balanced, which required me to pay another $100 to have them balanced. Needless to say, I was not happy. I called Momentum and spoke with the manager, who was very apologetic, said he would look into how that could have happened, and he refunded me the cost of the original installation!I dont understand how the tires werent balanced in the first place, but I chalk it up to an oversight by the technician. I appreciate that Momentum made it right, and will use them again in the future because of that.

I went to this location to have my personal wheels and personal used tires mounted and balanced. When making an appointment, I found out that this location can mobile mounting and balancing but if you go to their store location, you save money on mounting and balancing so thats what I did. I met with Jeremy inside the location. The store is small and next to the meineke on bloomfield ave but the garage area where they have tires is large. Jeremy was very kind and easy to talk to. He delivered exceptional customer service. I brought my vehicle around to the side of the building next to the garage opening and him and his coworker, Aaron, took my wheels and tires from my vehicle and brought it inside the shop to mount and balance. The entire process took no more than 30 minutes to do all 4 wheels and tires. When all was finished they put the wheels and tires in the bags I had and placed them in my car for me. Jeremy even let me know if any of my wheels were bent but thankfully all of them were perfect. Aaron was very kind and also provided excellent customer service. If youre looking to have your wheels mounted and balanced by a professional shop with great service and very nice employees, this is the place to go. I would highly recommend anyone to go here for mounting and balancing, as well as looking to purchase new tires!

The Gentlemen at Momentum are thee best ha da down! They stand by their jobs and products 100% . I had some tire pressure sensor issues after replacing my tires, and the gentleman made 2 separate trips out to make sure the issues could be satisfied- no charge. Oh yeah! Once Ian even sealed tires I hadn’t purchased from him FREE of charge, as long as I promised to come back for new tires when it was time. I DID JUST THAT, Loyal customer since 2016!

Perfect experience! I was hesitant to use a mobile installer, particularly one in another state (I am in CT) I didnt think they would come or that they would be thrilled to make the drive over. The came on time actually a little earlier than scheduled! They were done quickly in my driveway, while I relaxed in the comfortably at home. They took the old tires for disposal. The work van average to slightly above average in size and was well marked.. My housemate was so impressed with the service that he scheduled his tires for install shortly after. He did all by credit card/phone and was not even present for the install! (his car was in the driveway)

The dealership wanted another grand not including the service to replace my tires. I honestly dont have a $1,000 just laying around. Why didnt I think of this sooner? Ive always wished we had Tire Shops like they do in EU where folks swap tires in winter, BUT now we can have these GUYS come to your house and swap tires on your driveway and you can just toss the other tires behind a shed of wherever for the season - just make sure theyre covered so no water sits in them. AND BEST OF ALL they can get most tires themselves the next day for same or LE$$ then Tire-Rack! Now thats a win-win ;))

Had my tires mounted and balanced, they failed to balance them the first time so I called them back out, they rebalanced my wheels and told me they were bent and they couldnt balance them. I told my car to my wheel repair people and they told me that two of my wheels were actually completely not balanced (no weights on them at all) and that my wheels werent bent. They also pointed out that momentum broke one of my lug nuts head off (I know it was momentum because I handed them a box of brand new lug nuts to swap in for the old). All in all I wouldve been better off bring my car to a shop to have this all done better.

Technician arrived right at 9:00am for an appointment that was between 9:00am and 11:00am. He was extremely efficient and mounted and balanced my new wheels quickly. I cant remember his name but he was very courteous and friendly. Will definitely use Momentum Tire and Wheel for all my work in the future.

Great price, flexible availability, and right on time. Very easy and absolutely no feeling that you were going to be charged for extra items that you dont need. I stopped using my local big name tire store because of the long waits and constantly being charged for items that I did not need and were unclear. There was also the pressure of up-selling. With one of the other brick and mortar installers, after waiting a very long time, first they installed my tires with the wrong side facing outward, then they re-installed them with the direction indicators facing backwards. It took them three tries to get it right. And they were highly rated!?!? Not so here. Very experienced, meets all hopes and expectations, and no surprises.
