I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Unbeknownst to myself, the temporary license plate associated with the vehicle purchased from Mercedes Benz of Caldwell had over $200.00 worth of tickets associated with the license 4 days prior to me purchasing and driving off with the vehicle in August.The dealership alleged that the temporary plates were printed the day of purchase, however the New Jersey Turnpike Authority has pictures of a vehicle running through 5 different tolls with the same license plate number given to me by Mercedes Benz of Caldwell 4 days later. What makes the situation worse is that there was absolutely no effort on their part to rectify the situation in fact; the NJ Turnpike Authority was much more helpful than anyone at the dealership. The fact that they would allow a customer to drive off with a vehicle with dirty plates without remorse is very incompetent and concerning.

I highly recommend MB of Caldwell. My husband and I visited last weekend and we were pleasantly greeted by CAMILLA. We experienced exceptional customer service! Camilla was very knowledgeable about the vehicle specs and took time out to demonstrate and explain the features. She did not pressure us with outrageous and uncomfortable sales tactics. We brought our kids, so we anticipated a stressful day, but Camilla made the process so smooth and effortless. Sidenote, we visited another dealership that morning and left because we were dissatisfied with their service. We are so happy we decided to visit MB of Caldwell!

I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of Caldwell. Both my service and sales experiences have been exceptional. I previously visited 2 other dealerships in the North Jersey area and had less than satisfactory experiences. Even though the Caldwell location is the furthest from me, it is always worth the trip! This past month I made my second new car purchase from the Caldwell location. I worked with Ben Zimmer and Oscar. Ben was very up front with all the car details and patient as I asked many questions. He followed through to make sure all my questions were answered and there were no surprises as we closed the deal. I was also impressed with the seamless execution of paperwork, all info was pulled ahead of time and docs ready to be signed. Overall the communication, professionalism, and knowledge at this dealership continues to surpass my expectations. I rarely write reviews but I couldnt pass up this opportunity to give them credit and hopefully save someone else a headache of a bad experience at another dealership. Horrible experience today!!!! Was given such a sarcastic attitude by the service worker named Franca. I had a flat tire (same tire i had replaced there for $400 less than a week ago) and she told me she couldn’t do anything for me but fill it up with air and hope for the best on my 40 mile drive to work. She also rudely told me she knows my husband has a car and he could drive me to work since there were no loaners for me!!! After purchasing my car from this dealer i expected much more from their employees! Still waiting for a call from the service manager

We had our car repaired here and Franca was wonderful to work with. She was so quick to respond to all my emails and questions. I figure I’d receive a response within 24 hours but she would respond to me in 30 min or less.We had to have an insurance adjuster come see our car before we could move forward with the repairs and the shop was very patient and great about that. They even got us a courtesy car even though we didn’t have one scheduled for our repair.The only minor thing was that when we picked up the car, it hadn’t been cleaned but overall we will be returning when we need any services or repairs. Brian and his colleagues in the service department are exceptional. In my case, a third party extended warranty was involved, and he spent a ton of time on the phone with them ensuring that I got the coverage that I was entitled to. He was also very communicative during what turned out to be a 3-month process. Highly recommend.
They tried to charge me 4809 for a 2019 c43 am with 11k miles for a bearing . Then two new rims brake fluid and air filters the parts were all under warranty approved by ray catena the only reason I went to Caldwell is because ray was out of loaners . I referred this to my attorney. Be careful. I’m a master plumber I work for a very large company and deal with warranty work daily . I will never go there again
From the moment we walked into MB in March, to the day we picked up our car in May, Brian Teixeira who helped us through the process was absolutely remarkable. We never felt rushed or pressured and he took the time to make sure we understood all nuances of the transaction, from deciding the model, to selecting the finishes and then giving us the demo in the car the day we picked it up. Brian was extremely responsive and helpful throughout and even the days after the transaction - truly magnificent customer service and Brian will be our guy moving forward. Also, although Brian was our salesperson, it must be said that all of the staff we dealt with at the dealership were terrific - from the front desk to Eric Thomas who helped close our financing on the day, Eric was also brilliant in walking us through that process. I wouldn’t recommend this Benz dealership to anyone. My wife was pre approved for a 2021 GLE that we were told was 20k over MSRP PRICE. (Lied about inventory) Then they tried to sell us on a C class which then we was told would be $28k down. Our sales rep was Shane who did not try to help us one bit, but instead tried to rip us off for 28k. (And that was for a 2021 C Class).

We just purchased a 2021 MB from this dealership. Jim Sangemino was the epitome of excellence as our sales representative! He was informative, helpful and offered us that “wow-factor” we had hoped for! Buying any car, should be a great experience...but buying a MB should be a VIP experience. This dealership is not only beautiful, and clean but it’s first class all the way. The staff wears suits daily and treats customers to the full MERCEDES BENZ experience that we should expect! Love my new car! We will be back for another!
Went in to buy a GLE and after spending 1h there we settle for a car with an MSRP within our range. We sat to review the deal and when the numbers came in the quote included an adjustment for 20K extra over MSRP because of Market conditions, at no point the sales person disclosed that while we looked at the car. Then the manager came out to try to convice us that it was a great deal paying 20K over MSRP and that everyone is doing it. Big red flag so, needless to say, we ran for the exit before we were asked to put our hands up. Any business trying to rip off customers like this should not be trusted, today they do this to you selling the car and tomorrow they will rip you off in the service department. One to avoid for sure and BTW, not every MB dealer is doing this Mr. Manager.
I would not recommend this dealership. First of all they lied to us about premium over ticket and also hesitated to clear share the inventory they had. They were just trying to get us in buying at 10k-15K over the MSRP. We went to other Mercedes dealers where it mark was not there and if it was there it was much less. This dealer is trying to exploit the situation due to shortage of inventory saying that Mercedes is mandating the premium over MSRP. I check with my cousin who works for Mercedes and it is not true. #MercedesBenz. Never go to this dealership

Horrible! 2nd time bringing my 2019 C300 for service and both instances no loaners available. They never have ! Additionally dropped off car yesterday to get checked for a strange noise and I’m told they don’t know when they can check the vehicle to let me know the issue because they are too busy. I completely respect that but then why accept more appointments than they can handle. Honestly would not have been a problem if I had a loaner but I don’t and to not have an eta makes it worse. Never going back! Paying premium price for a vehicle and receiving sub par service. Having owned BMW my entire adult life and this being my first Mercedes I’ve never experienced this type of service

Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a car dealership. Dropped my car off for service and Anthony could not set me up with a rental car for the time that I had to give my car in. The day after I dropped my car off he told ME that their rental cars were booked for the next TWO WEEKS and that I had to call my contract policy to get the rental, however, once I called the the policy number they told me that the DEALERSHIP has to arrange everything and that I should have had to do no work in the matter. I also pay for insurance that covers lost keys and he insisted that my additional coverage does not cover lost keys. Beyond upset about this place and once I receive my car back I will NEVER return and will be sure to tell the rest of my family with Mercedes not to return here either. If I could give zero stars I would.
I would like to recommend this place, the people are friendly and nice. It was our first time buying a Mercedes as my daughter’s graduation gift. Camilla was very explanatory and knowledgeable, and Gene really took the time to explain to my daughter all of the features of the car which I really appreciated. 10/10.

I had in mind 3 different SUV from 3 different manufacturers.I chose MBofCaldwell because it was the closest to where i live.I did not have to go elsewhere.The facility is amazing. What you see outside is nothing compared to what you will see inside.Cars are beautiful of course, but the best discovery was Camilla Csuka.She knows everything about MB cars, but she also understands very well what a customer wants(or does not want). She never pushed too much, she always had the right answer and at the end my wife and i felt we were in good hands.It was a pleasant experience.Thank you Camilla
Mostly everyone here is rude and don’t want to deal with clients. I have text messages from service workers that show how nasty they can be. They get sarcastic and lie. STAY AWAY!!! I have so many stories I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Buy your Mercedes from another dealer. They do not value your business.
Very happy with my experience at the service dept. I brought my car in for a low tire and sure enough there was a nail in it. It was late in the day so they gave me loaner and the next morning returned my car to my home washed beautifully. Could not ask for better service

I am not disillusioned enough to believe that my review will change anyone’s opinion if they are truly interested in buying a MB from this particular dealer. I purchased my GLA 250 in March of 2020, the sales rep, Gene, was very professional and he alone is deserving of 5 stars.However, I had to bring the car in the within 72 hours as the engine light came on. They had the car for nearly 48 hours. Loaner was fine but it literally was parked in the driveway as I went absolutely nowhere with it.In June 9, 2021 I traded in my GLA for a 2021 X4. I sent an email to my finance rep, Kris Los on 6/10/21. He responded the same day with instructions on how to obtain the GAP refund. The very next day I submitted to Kris Los the paperwork to begin to obtain my GAP and other warranties owed to me. No response for 4 days. I then reached out to the sales rep who said that Kris Los is on vacation. What??? I ask for a different finance rep to assist as 1 monkey shouldn’t stop any show from proceeding. But nope, the other rep that I randomly emailed did not ever respond.Upon his return he was downright dismissive of me and took a “sigh, just wait 4- 8 weeks and don’t call me I’ll call you” attitude. Sorry Kris Los that’s not sufficient. Can you please tell me if you can possibly find out where my paperwork is the refund process?Now, here we are at the end of July and I am still waiting I have never known this process to take this long. It’s not simply the wait it’s the attitude of Kris Los. He is acting like I’m some street yard beggar or that the money is coming from his pocket. Indifferent is an adjective best used to describe him although I can think of a few more not Google review friendly ones that better fit him.I am a very happy X4 owner and will never recommend to anyone this dealership. Engine light on at 40 miles? I should’ve taken that cue then and maneuvered out of my MB.Live and learn and go elsewhere.

He was responsive and supportive as he guided my wife and I through the car buying process. He made himself available to answer any and all of our questions. Some sales at this dealer discriminated Asian minorities, so Asian people be aware! I got a very bad experienced with them, and the sales ignore my e-mails/questions after I met him (after he realized I am an Asian). The arrogant general manager Steve Reedy totally ignored my complaints after I mentioned this word discrimination. Ive leased 2 cars from them in the past but would never give them any more business! Anyway I was not happy with the quality of their sales force and was upset on their car services quite a few times way before this year 2021. They screwed up quite often on my first car, so I went for somebody else for any maintenance services for my 2nd car. They hire wrong people to do the wrong tasks. Very disgusting experiences, especially the general manage Steve Reedy who totally ignore my e-mails & phone messages. He DID NOT even returned my calls, not even once. A pure arrogant Jerky! Just because Im an Asian.
Getting our car serviced at Mercedes Benz of Caldwell was exceptional! This is our fourth Mercedes and it’s because of the quality of Mercedes Benz, and the service we receive at Mercedes Benz of Caldwell, that keeps us coming back! Not only are our service needs addressed professionally and courteously, but we feel like we’re taking our car to the spa for a little pampering! We went to the dealership to test a 2021 E class sedan. A young gentleman named Shane greeted us. He was patient in showing us different models as the dealership did not have the exact model we wanted in stock. At the end, we bought a totally different car. We are happy with the new car and enjoyed the buying experience. Everyone we dealt with in the process was courteous and professional.

The worst service ever, I do not recommend to anyone.I took my Sprinter van for the oil service, driving from Edison to west Caldwell. Left my van and 2nd day dealer call me, van is ready. Driving after 5 miles Van sends out an oil needs alert, also the a/c makes weird noises, call back to the dealer and complain with videos. Again Drives back to the Mercedes, after 3 days Mercedes call me back, van is ready and said van was checking for the former, mechanic, manager services. Finally specialist explains, oil and a/c was overfill and is ready to go, again driving, oil fixed but a/c not working well. I can’t go back again because my business already loose in 3 day $2400. Thanks God found ADVANCED GERMAN AUTO REPAIR, in Metuchen they fixed very quickly put the right amount of Freon. Change 3 lights bulbs and give me some recommendations for the futures repair. Charge me $170.Not recommend anyone for sprinter vans services, very disappointed, they not fixed car, they damaged cars.

Very bad experience leased a gls car with them MSRP 85000. Drove from toms river twice. Manager name Oscar gave us a very horrible experience. I also wanted to buy a GLE will take my business elsewhere now . The management needs to understand how to deal with the customers to get repeated business. Not going to recommend any one.
If I could give this Dealership 10 stars I would. Jim, who greeted me as soon as I walked in was the best salesman I have ever dealt with. The first car that Jim had presented me with is the car I ended up going home with. Not only did Jim know what the perfect match was for me he made my FIRST experience at Mercedes-Benz more than enjoyable. He was very patient with me from the beginning as I had no idea what I wanted nor did I really create a budget for myself. He answered every question I had to the best of his knowledge and for once, especially being a very young female car owner, I did not feel like he was taking advantage of my pockets. I love my car. Steven Eilert and Gabi Samman were outstanding in their interactions with me. I want to single out Mr. Eilert for his efforts on my behalf. I arrived at the dealership two hours before opening because of a damaged front tire. I was en route to my home in the state of Maine. Mr. Eilert arrived to work and began to address my issues immediately. Subsequently, he allowed me to sit in the customer area and pointed out the Mens room location. He pulled my car in, documented the mileage, copied my CNA coverage, and once the service department opened, he directed Mr. Samman to me. I found Mr. Eilerts courtesy, professionalism, and humor to engage and remove all the stress I felt due to the road hazard I encountered that drove me off the highway towards home and to the dealership. Mr. Samman was equally responsive. He was made abreast of my situation by Steve and worked hard to ensure a timely address to my unscheduled appearance. Gabi kept his commitment to return me to the road. Steve even went further to schedule a loner vehicle upon a return appointment to the state and the dealership to complete the repairs that, unfortunately, were not able to be completed during the time I was there.I must add that the dealership itself was immaculate. The staff from the service area to the sales area to the custodial staff were all charming and inviting. Camilla was amazing! I called about a specific car in the morning, met her within a few hours, was out of the dealership in less than 30 minutes and THEN - she actually delivered the car herself to my father for his 75th birthday after placing a big red bow on it on her own accord. She stayed around to help my father learn about the car and followed up for two straight days to assure everything was 100% perfect.
