Under new mgmt. Not as good as last time. Only 2 guys in garage, too many cars, pretty long wait. Oil change that took about half hr last time took over an hour. Then when I watched what looked like guy had trouble moving my manual shift car, I started to walk toward my car to see problem when the guy from counter came rushing out and yelled at me to stay out and even put his cane in front of me and continued to yell at me Im not allowed in garage. Have no problem being asked or told to please stay out of the garage for safety reasons, but not yelling at me and using his cane. Never apologized, became more rude as check out continued. An other client quickly changed his mind and left after waiting n watching the guys in the garage. Experience was anything but pleasant. Will not go back again.

Exceptional service. Car runs incredibly smoothly now. Good thing too that they gave a warranty on the muffler they added. The other place we commonly go for maintenance charged very high for brake fluid replenishment; this place did it much cheaper. Would absolutely recommend.

Took my wifes Camry here as well as my Mustang GT for inspection. Very fair price, and they dont try to upsell you. Their prices for other labor and services are fair as well. Will be continuing to come here.

SCAM!DISHONEST!Worst customer service I’ve experienced.Called Midas (West Chester Pike, PA) and got quoted 59.99 for synthetic oil change. Made appt.Went to pay with this $10 coupon and they then said the price is now 69.99! They even had a display piece in the office with a piece of paper taped over 59.99 to show 69.99.I have the itemized receipt showing 59.99 for an oil change was told that is the $10 discounted price.Completely scam... everything is itemized to equal 59.99.The man at the desk & the manager were extremely rude and dishonest.And this was the ending of a already terrible experience....I Brought my car in at 9:30a for 10am appt & told them I need my car by 3pm! (5 hours)Called at 230 to confirm my car was done because I was never contacted. Was told “Um well do we have permission to go in your trunk for key lock to rotate tires”1. Duh. You have my car key. Do your job.2. Why is this just being asked now? At 230pm, because I called you!?I proceed to ask “Will my car be done 3PM, I have another appt at 3:30p” and was told YES !!! Showed up to my car on risers. Unfinished.No apology, no explanation.I brought up that I was lied to and would have just appreciated honesty.Both men proceed to get defensive and YELL in my face.“We got busy”They absolutely took advantage of me both thinking my time is invaluable compared to their and scamming me in the cost... probably because I am a young women.Sorry Midas. I may be female but I’m not an idiot. I have submitted a claim with corporate, about my customer service, but more so about the money scam they are running. Bathrooms were gross, I waited around for around 10 minutes for someone to come out to the counter and then she informed me that they didnt have time to give an estimate for an exhaust system. It was only 5 oclock and they were opened until 6. Oh well, I was able to call a customer and fit in an inspection which made the trip worth while.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not only is the quality of work very poor, but this place will not correct its own screw ups. To make matters worse, they screwed up a simple task: installation of new brakes.I initially brought my car to Midas and spent $1,200 for installation of brakes and tires, as well as an alignment.I then brought the car back a couple of weeks later because there was a squeaking noise coming from the rear wheels. Cory at Midas told me it was the rotors, and I ended up paying another $1,000 to get those installed. At the time, I said I didn’t think it was the rotors because the mechanics did not recommend changing them just a few weeks ago when they installed the new brakes. Plus, I only had 25,000 miles on the car. I ended up trusting Midas and getting the new rotors. That was a huge mistake.The new rotors didnt help. The squeaking noise from the wheels continued. I then brought the car back to Midas yet again. This time, Cory told me it was something in the axle and to take it to the dealership. He admitted it wasnt the rotors causing the noise and that the rotors didnt need to be replaced.The dealership discovered the noise was caused by the improper installation of the brakes! The pin in the brake was hitting the rotor. I sent a video and invoice (over $300) from the dealership to show Midas that they had improperly installed the brakes (and endangered my family).As a result of Midas incorrect brake installation, I’ve now wasted about $1,500. After many, many calls and emails with the Midas branch and corporate headquarters, many of which went ignored, Midas offered to reimburse me for the invoice from the dealership to repaid Midas faulty brake installation. But they refuse to refund me for the installation of rotors I never needed and that they misidentified as the problem. The problem was their incompetence when it comes to installing brakes.I understand that mistakes happen, but I am shocked that Midas would not make things right after admitting to screwing up the brake installation. Do not trust your car to this place, even for the simplest of tasks.

This midas was very helpful And supportive I am very pleased with the work that was done on my car. I like two different people fix my car before I went there and I was hearing a clicking some loud noise underneath in the front of my car and I didn’t know what it was but I knew something wasn’t right. Do not waste your time and money here. They could not diagnosis the problem just recommending to change this and that. when you run into same issue again they begin same story. Even Oil change also sucks, Oil lost after 1000 miles even high performance oil. They will not change any other fluids and will not let you know that.

THE CAR HAD NEW TIRES, NEW BRAKES, NEW SHOCKS, SO I GUESS THEY FIGURED THEY COULDNT MAKE ANY MONEY. WHEN I PICKED THE CAR UP THE MANAGER APPOLOGIZED BUT HAD NO EXPLANATION OF WHY THE MECHANIC WOULDT INSPECT IT. ILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. THE SHOP A LITTLE FURTHER FROM ME HAD NO ISSUES DOING THE INSPECTION.

No pressure just did what I needed done.

Engine light was on. I had a small evap leak.. Took 20 min and they said I needed a new fuel neck for my car. No smoke test or any other testing. They said 532.00. The next day they called and said they made a mistake and they didnt put labor in correctly so now it will be 781.00. Got a second opinion and didnt need the part! Shame on them for doing this.

Super knowledgeable and describe exactly what theyre doing and why they are recommending every option. Came in for an oil change and inspection. Got that plus a list of things that werent at 100% along with recommendations about what to do about it and when it would be done. They were also happy to show the information that led to their decisions!

First off, you should know that Midas runs a promotion giving people $10 off their over-priced services if the customer gives them a 5 star review. Before this promotion their ratings were terrible.But now let me tell you about Midas. It is sad because they are all very nice people to your face and seem genuine. Unfortunately, like many mechanics, they will attempt to over charge you in any way they think they can get away with. Whether it be crazy labor charges, adding random expenses to your bill as a “favor”, or fixing things that do not need fixed.To add insult to injury, Midas’s google review used to be under 3 stars. As I mentioned, they are doing everything they can to change that except running a trust worthy business. Jim, a manager I presume, called me many times after I already gave them a 5 star review simply asking for a review. He positioned this as a courtesy call.. what is courteous about begging for reviews from customers you over charged? That I still have not answered.Nevertheless, I have since been taking my car to shops that do not pay commission to their mechanics as I am guessing Midas does based on my labor charges. I would only ever return to Midas if I had no other choice.Sincerely,A person who never leaves reviews, but feels this strongly about the quality of service received at Midas

Becky at the counter was so pleasant and willing to bring our car in right away to be looked at. We were not able to do it today, but will be back this week! This Midas is FANTASTIC! The new manager there named Andy is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and goes out of his way to make things right. He’s developed a top notch crew of technicians. I highly recommend this Midas location.

I called and made an appointment this morning for an oil change. The guy that answered the phone was very kind and scheduled me right away. When I arrived to there I spoke with the manager Andy who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend coming to Midas of West Chester.

We brought a tire to the west Chester location to be repaired. They called and said the tire was ruined and also the tire pressure sensor needed to be replaced. Well, when I went to retrieve the tire and see what was really wrong, I was shocked. Obviously the sensor was broken when they dismounted the tire but they also tore the bead on the tire making it unusable. They gave me a new sensor to replace the one they broke but refused to pay for a new tire. They didnt use any lube when they were dismounting or mounting the tire. They tried to say the damage was done when the car was being driven. The tire never separated from the rim while it was flat. We plan on taking them to court to get the money we had to spend elsewhere refunded to us. I think that because a woman brought the tire to them originally that she would have no automotive knowledge and they could get one over on her. How wrong they are. Beware of any repairs done at this location and get a second opinion always

They were great! Everyone was so nice and helpful. They showed me the issues with my car and how it all works. They tested it out and fixed it up all in one night! Definitely recommend and will be back if needed! Awesome new management as well!

Used the website to set up an appointment and was looking for an oil change. The crew nicely reminded me that me having an older car it would be smart to have a transmission and coolant flush as well. A new product they recommend saved the pocket and was quickly serviced. Good guys and service.

Great place to go. Staff was friendly, responsive, and had my car fixed within two hours. On Saturday no less. Jim followed up with a phone call a few days later to make sure the car was and repair was going well. The Lead Master Mechanic, Dan Phillips has been there for over 35 yrs ! Hes the best, he listens to you when you have questions, he shows you you car from the underside, gives you options for the work needed as well ! Then theres Chris whos up front at the counter greeting you when you come in, he also listens to what you have to say, explains the issues at hand and also suggests options as to how to get the needed work or inspection done at your convenience ! This location has always been outstanding with personalized Customer Service, Professionalism and overall great Service . I think Dans knowledge and expertise should be noticed and greatly recognized and would like to see him in new Commercials for your Company, or continue Teaching the newer Techs working with him or doing great things in the Corporate Environment with his vast Skill Sets ! This morning bright and early, I had occasion to take my car for an oil change at the West Chester Pike facility . I have been taking my car to the West Chester location for some 8 years now. On the way home I realized how I have taken the excellent service for granted. I always leave with a great sense of confidence that the job was done right. I have experienced only excellent and courteous service, professionally done. The manager and his staff are to be complimented for their customer service, definitely a credit to the Midas network.

I came in today for an oil change and I was not aware that they did a free courtesy check, which I loved! I found out that my brakes were low! They took me out to the shop to help me understand what was wrong, the manager was great, he was able to explain what was needed, I will be coming back for all my service from now on! Its great to have someone right around the corner from me that is able to perform great service!

Chris as super helpful, and the waiting space was comfortable for my two toddlers. Great hours too. We went in on a Friday and found out we had a broken compressor. My husband wanted to shop around and took the car to another mechanic he knew. They said the price wed been quoted was fair, and Chris was able to make time for us the next day and complete the job by Saturday afternoon. He called to keep us updated as they did the work, and he was very transparent about which items would be considered preventative maintenance vs. necessary repairs. He also called to follow up and make sure we were happy with the service. We will definitely be going back again.

Very pleased, the times i save money on less expensive service I end up paying for it later and then some. I always get the minimum done but their minimum is the best quality. I need to save some money for the rest of the work to be done to pass inspection, but for now know im safe.

BEWARE OF WHAT THEY CHARGE YOU! I did oil change plus state inspection here. The safety inspection failed and they wanted to charge me a whopping $1500+ to pass the inspection. They just add every possible service they can including tire rotation that I already did from Costco two weeks ago. After I said no they called back and said they forgot to add a $80 coupon on tires. They need to replace all my tires because one of them is not uniform. I even felt good for just letting the inspection failed and leave and not spending a penny more here.

All I can say is awesome! From the staff up front to the technician who worked on my car, everyone was very friendly and seemed to have some pride in their work and their company. Definitely get the sense that the staff is honest as they showed me all recommendations and explained everything very well. Hard to find a repair shop that gives you the sense that your being taken care of and honestly. I most definitely will return and refer my friends, family and co-workers to the guys at Midas in West Chester.

My experience can be described as average. Customer service was average. Service time was fairly quick, but they forgot to top off my fluids after verifying that they had done so. When I phoned in to inform them of the error, they told me to come back so that they could do it, and that they forgot. I didnt return.

Ive been using this location for years. I trust what they say when I need something fixed. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They explain things thoroughly and have a very nice waiting area.

My car emission passed and safety inspection failed. I fixed safety inspection issues by myself within a one month window and I called them for reinspecting the same and provide sticker. They said they cannot do inspection as their emission machine is down. After a week of calling them daily, Finally they said their machine is still down and to inspect the car somewhere else and get refund for what I have paid already. They did not refund as promised.

They fit me in right away and have great pricing. Good staff to work with also.

Cant get an appointment for a simple oil change on time on 2 separate occasions.

I have been to the one in Philly and never had the problems I have had here. They tend to attempt to charge you for things you dont need as well as cant seem to put the parts back on right causing me to always go elsewhere to have things reattached that they didnt replace right.

The team here at the west cheater Midas always takes care of everything I need for great price highly recommend!!!!!

I am regular here for routine as well as incidental maintenance of my 2 cars. Great place. Time bound and good quality service. Wi-Fi actually works!2 valve caps on my tires were metal and got completely jammed in the winter. Just could not get it off no matter what. I showed to Midas in the morning without appointment, requesting help. The guys had to file off the metal pieces and made sure not to damage the sensor. AND did not charge me a dime. Service doesn’t get better than that.
