Definitely not the place you want to get food from if youre looking good quality/tasting food or good prices. The food was ok, but not at all worth what it costs for it!
When in the area, we would definitely return. The diner is bright, clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food is good and the servings are good sized. We both had the diners breakfast special for lunch. You cant go wrong eating here.
Dined in. Restaurant is clean, and booths and tables are seated at every other one for COVID, which was something I really look for now in dine-in restaurants, so I was happy to see that. Waiter that served us seemed a little rude, or like he didnt care about serving customers. He likely just had a bad day or something, so it wasnt that big of a deal. The burger I had was fantastic, oh my god...it was a large burger and had plenty of toppings, which were fresh, and the burger patty was juicy, tender and tasted wonderful. The menu was very large, though; I personally think they should stick to American classics and take some menu items off, as its overwhelming when you first take a look. Would love to try their breakfast one day. Very happy with my meal and experience overall; neat little purple-themed retro diner, will likely be back. I recommend to anyone interested.

Our closest friends recently moved from Glasgow, DE to Gilbertsville, PA so we needed a decent place to meet that is about halfway for us. We found it in the Rams Diner! Excellent food and service. Thank You Ashley! Menu offers a whole lot to choose from including a Seniors Menu.
I liked rams diner a lot, they have pretty good food and are usually cheap, and fast. But last Sunday I had a horrible experience and now will not be going back. First of all my waitress was extremely slow and never came to our table. It took 15 minutes to order drinks and then another 25 after that to order our food. After an hour and 20 minutes our food finally came out. All seemed okay at first, but almost every single order was wrong in one way or another, my friends eggs benidict had crab in it (he did not order it with crab) and after eating it he felt extremely sick for the whole day. Then to top it all off every item we ordered was $1-$3 more than what the menu said, and we ended up paying double what we usually do and we all got the same things we did the previous time we were at rams, and when we asked about it we were told that we couldn’t be helped with that and had to pay the full amount and leave

Friendly staff, great breakfast food. They give the kids crayons and let them color on the back of the paper menus and they hang them up behind the counter. Definitely has that neighborhood diner feel to it. Great place to eat.
Glad we were able to find a diner open til midnight! Delicious Belgian waffles on the way home from Cowtown Rodeo. Hopefully they’ll be able to be open 24 hours again.
Labor day visit, clearly short staff. Wife ordered their heart healthy omelet (egg whites, spinach, tomatoes) but got a Dieters delight (egg beaters, mushroom, green peppers, onions), but being short staffed, nobody came back to check in for 15 minutes. The check said the right thing, so it was clearly a kitchen mistake, but either way, we didnt have another 20 minutes to wait for the kitchen to fix it. I put this place down as an avoid.
Very friendly waitress works very hard to cater to your needs to compliment the menu . The seafood bisque is the best ...Thank you for letting me know about the soup .

Very nice & very clean, staff very friendly, owner will come out and say hello. Menu nice variety. We ate breakfast. Food nice & fresh. Would give it more than 5 stars. It was worth the 12 miles drive from Drexel Hill. OMG the water was so Damn Delicious. This my diner for now on.
First and last visit to the Ram Diner. Worst food Ive probably ever had in a restaurant. Corned beef was mostly gristle, making for a soggy cartilage and coleslaw on rye. Couldnt even cut it with knife outside the bread. Potato chips were extremely stale. We only ordered sandwiches but they took 45 minutes to arrive, and the place was not busy. Friendly waitress, but too busy and very inattentive.
The breakfast items looked much better than the Gyro I got. I was the worst one I have ever had in my life. Thin strips of frozen pre-packaged meat just a few drops of tzatziki sauce and the bread was hard and stale. Waitress was nice but not prepared. Forgot silverware and napkins. Otherwise it was nice and clean.
Spoiler Alert, I liked this cheesesteak. Carrying it to my car I could tell it had some good weight to it. The french fries did add some weight. I was very happy when I opened the container and saw my cheesesteak. It looked very well made and the french fries had the good coating on them. I would call this Cheesesteak good traditional. The roll was traditional and good. It had a good bread to crust ratio and ate very well. The cheesesteak had a good amount of good meat. It had a decent amount of cheese. I wish the cheese would have been mixed in with the meat and extras better. It had a nice balance of good fried onions and mushrooms. I wish they would have spent more time on the grill but it was 8:12 in the morning. The Cheesesteak had good balance and ratios. It had a touch too much oil and you know I dont like paying $0.75 to put fried onions on a cheesesteak.
Went late on a Friday night & there were a few people there but it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We went for some milkshakes but also got some fries while we were there. The milkshakes were DELISH, the fries were alright, but the service was really good and the place was clean, so overall, 4 stars from me :) Very extensive menu though, so we will probably be back at some point!!

The food is good but the service is not. I went there yesterday when it was not busy, purposely to avoid big crowds during these times of the pandemic. The waitresses and so called Manager all saw me when I walked in but did not say anything. I simply gestured a hello and sat near their area within site view. I was waiting for a while for someone to at least offer coffee and a menu. Instead they kept rolling silverware in the napkins for the tables. Finally they were negotiating amongst them on who gets the next table. I couldnt believe it so I told them its not about your tips but the customer that should be your main focus as a team. Finally the BIG girl said maybe I should go somewhere. I couldnt believe it and I replied shes absolutely correct. Nevertheless, I recommended that she should practice on her customer service and waiting skills. She then bragged about how shes been doing this kind of work for 23+ years. I wish the owner would have seen this so he can see how professional his employees represent his establishment. Sadly the owner deserves better workers who understand that greeting his customers with decency is priceless and should be happy to have a job during these times. Its a real shame. Lazy workers only these days only know how to look at their stupid smart phones and complain about their wages. Instead of appreciating customers who just wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast. By the way, Ive been there once before and left an excellent tip. Which is why I returned. NOW, I WILL NEVER stop here again or recommend this place.

Rams has a very deverse menu and portions are large. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I loved the chicken breast stuffed with real lump crab meat, topped with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. We didnt have room for dessert, so we returned later for dessert. They had a large variety of noteworthy cakes, cheesecake, pies and icecream. Again, large portions. Open 6am - midnight, 7 days a week. So we skiped the grab and go breakfast at our hotel and returned for breakfast. We were just as pleased as we were our first 2 visits. All menue items are available open to close.
Food comes quickly and service is good. Some items are better than others, but thats a preference thing.

So the food was good, energy in atmosphere was good, socially distanced, and our server John was very friendly. However, My fiancee gave a $9 tip and our bill was 34.29. When my fiances bank sent the transaction email; it said $51.29 posted from Ram Diner. We politely went back to the diner to try to rectify the situation; the owner was nasty and denied it. What totally sucks is we are staying in Westchester for the week. So Rams Diner wouldve recieved 34.29 × 7 from us because our hotel was close. Now, We changed our hotel. I feel like money was stolen and Ill never patronize again.
Very nice staff, the food is very good as well, unfortunately the menu is a little smaller during this covid pandemic. Nice simple spot but is definitely not the college diner some would think of or be used to especially since they use the west chester university rams colors/logo/theme. Also completely no alcohol served either. But otherwise its a nice family style diner.

Woah is this place fast. I think it took us 30 minutes from being seated to be out the door check paid and bellies full. They serve breakfast all day plus they have other diner food youd expect such as sandwiches, Italian dishes, and hot open sandwiches. I went for breakfast and my omelette was amazing. The place was also busy - an indication of a good local place. Overall Id highly recommend you check them out.

Soup and salad I chose for my starters. Seafood bisque/chowda, great. Garden salad was fresh and lovely. What I took home was their namesake burger after eating half on the spot. Attentive and amazing staff, my tables server was patient and kind. Thank you!
Stopped in for a quick bite after visiting West Chester University. Service was prompt and great, portions were large and our server was on the ball! Gave us just enough time upon arrival to make our selections and food was served quickly!

This review is based off of only two breakfast visits but Id happily visit more often. The food is well cooked and in generous portions (pancakes are huge!) The service is incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with.
The inside dining was done w good social distancing and the friendly staff all wore masks. We always have a great meal there too!!

Very nice interior design! Embraces a classic 50s style with a West Chester themed twist. (Go Rams!) A step up from your average diner. Very, very clean with a bright, comfortable atmosphere. Usually fairly quiet and not noisy.HUGE menu variety! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Also a menu for the kids and healthy menu options too. If you want a special order, just ask, they always get your order right. Waiters and waitresses are always friendly and service is fast. Quality if food is excellent (not too greasy or fatty) and they dont skimp on sizes. Love going here for lunch. Have been back 4 times now! Perfectly pleasant for brunch or an afternoon date with your boo.

Great diner at the South end of West Chester. They have the typical diner menu items and the process are in the normal price range for this area. Service was quick and prompt and the for was prepared well and treated great too. Recommended.
