Horrible service. The sales man came at the wrong time and never asked to see me about what we needed and only spoke to a warehouse order packer. Then left and I never heard back from him. I called three times leaving messages and asking about the quote and to speak with the salesman, but never received a call back or email. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

Howell Door Co does an excellent job with garage doors. I have used them multiple times to repair my garage doors. They offer same day service and do a great job for a fair price. Id highly recommend them!

Update*** Once again Howell Door comes through! I am now in a new construction home and already had problems with the builder installed door. Within 24 hours of my call to Howell Door I have a better than new functioning door. I continue to highly recommend Howell Door Co.!***Update. 2014 review- In the middle of a snowy morning.... Howell Door came to our rescue! This winter had been harsh on our doors, neither would close properly and finally one of the openers stopped all together. 24 hours after making an appointment everything is back in order. I appreciated the knowledgeable and friendly staff, quality workmanship and attention to detail. I highly recommend Howell Door Company for repairs and new opener installation.

I called for service on my garage door that has been given me problems for years. They came out, fixed my door to work like new, didnt try to over service, and the price was great! Thank you very much Howell Door! I smile every time I open and close the door because it works like a dream.

Highly recommended! We had an issue this morning which left us with a garage door stuck halfway up. Keith came out this afternoon and straightened us out. The door now runs smoothly and he corrected the issue that caused it in the first place. Quality work and customer service.

From Lisa who scheduled us and walked us through our options to Tom, who showed up prompt, was super friendly, and went above and beyond with our replacement. Not to mention they were significantly less expensive than a company I had contacted in the past about a similar repair. Howell Door Co. recently repaired my broken 15 year old garage door opener and they did a great job for a fair price. I called on a Monday and Tuesday morning they sent technician, Tom to diagnose and fix what turned out to be a broken gear.I got an appointment for the day after I called, Tom was on time, pleasant, fixed the problem and didn’t try to sell me anything extra. I’d definitely recommend this company for garage door repairs.EDIT to add another great experience with Howell Door last week, 2 years after my initial review.We’ve had issues with our 16 year old doors “jumping” when they lift, rods coming out of the tracks, preventing opening and closing of doors and they’ve gotten really loud. I had enough when my garage door was stuck open recently and called Howell. They sent a technician out on the day I requested, he was here early, spent an hour fixing everything and the price was very good. I wish I called them earlier instead of waiting for my husband to fix the doors.

My torsion springs broke on the garage door and I could not get my car out. Called Monday morning and spoke to Tom and he sent Keith the technician to my home, within one hour he had made the repairs. (True professionals) This is one of the better service experiences I have had in many years.I know they have been in business since 1939 and I know why they are still around.I would recommend them to anyone.Walt

Awful customer service! First the installer leaked oil in my driveway had to call their office multiple times then when I talked to Tom he had no idea what I was talking about after I left him mutiple messages. The installer sat there argue with me and was disrespectful in my own house I should have had him leave then. Then the sensor light switch didn’t work I called mutiple times and finally talked to Tom his response was “ yea I don’t know I have that issue too in my house” He was paid at this point and could have cared less. Never came out to fixed so i had to fix my own sensor switch and scrub the oil out of my driveway. However door was very nice but Howell did not make the door. They also will not give you toms number so you can not get ahold of him when there is a issue you have to call the office and wait. Had trouble getting him on the phone. Too many other companies out there to have to deal with this in my option
